Using Aud D'Hoffryn as player character, I formed AVOW- the Allied Valkyries Of Wrestling, which I imagine as one part Shimmer, one part Lucha Underground, and one part Wagnerian opera.</p><p> </p><p> Had to start at local (though I went to the in game editor and added a few zeroes to the end of the starting $2500), simply because there are few options in Europe (and even then I pulled a cheat by taking Anna Ki out of retirement, simply because I took one look at her stats), but we've managed to slowly build that thanks to talent trades (I didn't know that using the talent trade once allows a work to skip over the restricted areas thing) and a young Japanese talent going on excursion. It's not quite the end of the year, and now that we're small size, AAA, 5SSW, and OLLIE, have joined ZEN, CILL, and QAW in working relationships with us, though I find the latter group easier to trade with than the former.</p><p> </p><p> I especially proud of some of the event names I've come up with- Highway to Hel, Vanaheim Violence, and Wrestling Ring of the Nibelung being particular favorites.</p> Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Was going to put some time into the Clash of the Titans mod (1994), but it went horribly bad. Literally, I am NOT joking, every top star on the WWF roster failed a hard drug or steroid test in my first two months, except for Undertaker & The Harts. Then Undertaker got injured is out for over a year. I've never seen anything like it! So yeah...needless to say, I lost interest fast. For some reason, a Bret Hart - Irwin R. Schyster feud wasn't very appealing. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I was about to start a game in the Montreal Aftermath mod (December 1997), then I decided....nothing beats the Cornellverse. Not for me, at least. So I was seeing what I haven't done on TEW2016 yet, and surprisingly, I've never done a game with CGC. That's the first company I ever played with, back with TEW2005! So screw it, let's do it!</p><p> </p><p> And sheesh...as you might know already, CGC is just a big bag of sadness. Easily the worst roster for any company Cult size or higher. No wonder I haven't played as the company yet! But I'm intrigued now, and I'm ready to dive in to see what I can do.</p><p> </p><p> So Jack Avatar has become the new owner of CGC. I think it's safe to say Alex DeColt has faced enough public scrutiny to sell the company to the higher bidder. Bring it promising, young talent. Toss out the useless, old talent. It's a simple strategy for CGC. Database: C-Verse (Default) Company: Epic Wrestling Entertainment Location: Southern British Isles Owner: Jack Ripper (Created under RTG Rules) Booker: Taylor Haize (Created Under RTG Rules) (Also, User Character) Schedule: Monday: EWE Extremists Wednesday: EWE Fallout Friday: EWE Comeback Wk 2 Sunday: EWE Defiance (Run in Central British Isles) Wk 4 Sunday: EWE Blowoff Show First four months, I was -$140K in debt. Month 5: I made $4K Month 6: I made $30K I am now under ($100K) in debt going into July. Taylor Haize has yet to win the EWE Championship. Annihilus (I always forget how to spell his name) is THE monster in my promotion. He has fended off every challenger, to include both of Haize's attempts at taking the belt off of the Beast. With the debut of Antonio Rey, (renamed Antonio Del Rey) as his loud mouthed voice to Annihilus' muscle, Haize, Ripper, and O'Hearne has yet to come close to pinning the big man. Antonio Del Rey, in the meantime, was able to grab a hold of the EWE Infinity Gauntlet (Our Midcard championship belt), and both Annihilus and Antonio Del Rey have been the best heels in the company. My plans are to continue both of their reigns (Even while Antonio Del Rey is out injured for all of this month, but he can still be the mouthpiece). I plan on also pushing up two of my face workers through the month to eventually challenge both of these guys. JOJI and Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt is my oldest worker and he was one of the first people I hired. Thunderbolt has been my stat giver since day one, and I think it is time for him and JOJI to rise up the ranks a bit and challenge for the belts. Haize is still not a good worker, and neither is Ripper, so I plan on continuing have them tag together in losing efforts against better workers for time being. All of this is jumbled thoughts. The final four are Danielson (defending champion) vs Kenny Omega and Shibata vs Ricky Marvin. Yes, Marvin has managed to make it this far. I don't fancy his chances against Shibata but you never know. </p><p> </p><p> Tanahashi will defend against Jun Akiyama. ( in on loan) Akiyama gave Tanahashi his only defeat of the year so far in a non title match. Pressure is on Tanahashi. </p><p> </p><p> Shawn Michaels and Samoa Joe had a 30 minute draw. Joe and Rock are teaming up to face Shawn and a mystery partner. The grand return of CM Punk. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> A whole bunch of contracts just came up. In fact, seems to be a better/bigger challenge to book 1996 WCW WITHOUT any kind of Invasion angle...</p><p> </p><p> On the other side, Jeff Jarrett has done a MASTERFUL job of playing Savage and Hogan against each other. They keep kicking the crap out of each other and Jarrett keeps picking up the scraps. Disappointing because he and Low Ki were starting to make some progress. </p><p> </p><p> Shibata won the best of the super juniors, defeating Danielson in the final. I also put Danielson's junior heavyweight title on the line in that match. Danielson was just that confident. Oops. The title reign lasted 15 months. Shibata is going to MMA again in 2 months so I'm not quite sure what to do with the title. The possibility of going back to Danielson or I could do Rey Mysterio. </p><p> </p><p> The Rock won the IWGP title. Defeating Tanahashi in an awesome 97.</p><p> </p><p> He is now on movie duty. I did not strip him of the title. Would have been pointless making him champion if I was going to do that. Instead, I'm going to have an interim champion. That will be decided at my next show (NJPW Rumble) Same as royal rumble only you can be eliminated by pin, submission and over the top elimination. </p><p> </p><p> Rob Van Dam and Master Nishimura defeated Decimation(Steen and Cactus Jack) to win the tag team titles. I'm going to turn TenKoji heel because Jack and Steen are cooling off. Started a Real World mod (Fleisch's January '18) Imported all the workers from Thunderverse + C-Verse. Activated only ~6 from each of those fictional Universes varying in size. Especially wanted PWI and USPW so that my WWE save would be a little more challenging. I'm attempting to compete with nothing but Real World wrestlers + any generated from the Dojos. It's been a real grind and I'm regularly getting destroyed. Expanded the WWE Universe to include a TRUE Local level developmental territory so that NXT can do their thing. Taker finally agreed to a rematch with Owen at Fully Loaded to prove to him that he is on another level - which he did in a very good match. </em></p><p> </p><p> I am thinking about pairing Taker up with Austin at Summerslam and giving Austin his first WWF title win. I’m questioning whether it’s too soon to be changing the champion, but I want to take advantage of the prestige of Summerslam in crowning my figurehead as the top champion in the business. </p><p> </p><p> As for Owen, Johnson will attack him on the RAW after Fully Loaded and sideline him in retribution (Owen is injured for 24 days) before the square off at Summerslam where Owen will probably win. </p><p> </p><p> <em>Ministry stablemates, Kane and Mankind successful defended their titles against former champions New Age Outlaws, but The Sultan was less fortunate in his championship efforts. Sultan has made Intercontinental champions Steve Austin his number one target, in a bid to prove to the rest of the Ministry that he is ready for a step up. Naturally, Austin proved too much for the young upstart and he beat him in what proved to be a solid match. </em></p><p> </p><p> Kane and Mankind are a bit of dilemma for me. The only challengers they have are HHH and HBK who are entitled to a title shot at any point over the year, but that’s a match up between four of my biggest stars and should really happen at Wrestlemania. However, they can’t really not defend their titles at one of my biggest PPVs. </p><p> </p><p> Sultan might continue trying to impress the other Ministry members by answering Bulldogs challenge at SummerSlam, in another losing effort. Then he will accept that Undertaker is right and he isn’t ready. Not sure where he could go from there. </p><p> </p><p> <em>Bulldog claimed the European title at KOTR and after honouring it to Stu Hart who recently passed, he immediately declared himself a fighting champion and agreed to face any and all challenges. At Fully Loaded, that was put to the test when Double J answered the call and tried to end the Bulldogs run before it ever started. Unfortunately, Bulldog had momentum on his side on his way to his first successful title defence. </em></p><p> </p><p> Bulldog is getting on in age and he has a soft spot in my life so I would like to let him have a good European title run before maybe having him win the tag titles with Owen down the line. As mentioned, he will likely beat Sultan at Summerslam before getting into an actual feud to give him some credibility. </p><p> </p><p> <em>The monster Sid set his sights on impressing Sable by destroying her partner Marc Mero, who had just returned from a long injury. Sable stayed committed for all of four weeks, before betraying Mero and siding with Sid, promising to rise right to the top of the WWF in due course</em></p><p> </p><p> Mero is never going to be a star and Sid is massively over. Sid and Sable have great chemistry so I figured why not pair them up. I would like Sid to get into a high profile feud but I don’t see who he could feud with that would actually make sense. I am thinking about building towards Taker v Sid at Wrestlemania but that depends on what I decide to do about the Ministry and if I can come up with a good enough story as to why they would be feuding in the lead up to the biggest event of the year. On top of that, Sable is leaving in three months to give birth. </p><p> </p><p> <em>After successfully defending his Intercontinental title for the 8th time, it might be time for Austin to set his sights on the biggest title in the world. But what will happen to his Intercontinental title in the meantime?</em></p><p> </p><p> As discussed last time, I’m building towards Austin as champ facing off against an unbeaten Rock at Mania, so I have to get the title on him soon. It seems a shame to cut Takers reign so short and probably weakens him, so I don’t know if Summerslam is the right PPV to do it. My current plan is for his to win a number one contender match but also be forced to defend the IC belt on the same night as his title shot, possibly in a triple threat so he doesn’t have to take the fall. Not sure if a one month build to his first title win does him justice, though. </p><p> </p><p> I did try to sign Ted DiBiase with a view of him trying to buy Austin for a while before introducing a couple clients to destroy him and take his title, but DiBiase decided to stay with WCW</p><p> </p><p> <em>Since being crowned the KOTR, Rock has continued his unbeaten streak against an array of wrestlers. Who will be the next to step up and challenge themselves against the future of the WWF?</em></p><p> </p><p> This one is simple, ex European champion William Regal is going to berate Rock for never being a champion, calling his unbeaten streak useless. This short month feud will keep Rock busy and give him another name on the win list </p><p> </p><p> <em>Long term Lightweight champion Jushin Liger finally succumbed to a returning X-Pac who then joined up with his long term friends Triple H and Shawn Michaels in reforming DX!</em></p><p> </p><p> So DX are back together. Why? Because I have to keep HHH and HBK away from the Ministry for now. HHH has already lost a feud to them and HBK was involved in the top feud for the first few months of the game. DX won’t be claiming their title shots just yet, but they have been watching the New Age Outlaws in their losing efforts to the Ministry. My idea is to have DX offer the NAO a place in the stable only for them to refuse until the square off at Summerslam and earn each other respect. Not sure what I’d do after that as I’d have two large stables who can’t really face off due to their recent history and long term plans. </p><p> </p><p> As for X-Pac, no Lightweight in the WWF is even close to him in terms of popularity or skill. So really not sure what happens next. </p><p> </p><p> <em>New signee Bam Bam Bigelow went straight for tough veteran Faarooq in a bid to impress. They are currently tied at 2-2 in their best of 7 series. Who will pull off the important final two wins and claim bragging rights?</em></p><p> </p><p> This will end at Summerslam, probably, with Bam Bam coming out the victor. I am toying with the idea of them teaming up afterwards due to a mutual repspect and going after Kane and Mankind. I might even have them conclude their series during RAW and facing off against Ministry at Summerslam, although I don’t see how that can be achieved within four RAWs without it being too rushed. </p><p> </p><p> So this is what is happening in my game. If anyone has any Ideas going forward, I’d love to hear them. I have realised that I rely on month long feuds and struggle to build good feuds that lasts over a few PPVs, so that’s something I’m interested in improving. I’ll post a few bullet points below for anyone who wishes to help with some ideas</p><p> </p><p> </p><ul><li>How can I handle the WWF title scene without devaluing both the title and the Undertaker, but still keeping Austin strong?<br /></li><li>Where do DX go from here?<br /></li><li>I need a long term tag team title feud. Up past 100+ companies and 2000 wrestlers, real and celebs.</p><p> </p><p> Once it is setup, will start out with my favs in a unique company, Valkyrie Wrestling Federation, but also every company starts with 50mil in cash.
