Post Starrcade news:

The Warrior defeated The Barbarian for his first ever world title reign. He has vacated the US championship, which is up for grabs in a tournament.

Mean Gene Okerlund and promising WWF lower mid carder Bret Hart are talking about jumping to the smaller but highly financed WCW, along with Koko B Ware and the Honky Tonk Man. Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper felt the company was still too small.

Vader, the first World Champion and the man originally planned to carry the company, finally came back from "injury" (being sent to rehab for wrestling high on painkillers and drugs too many times) in a big match against his former rivals Lawler and King. He won the match.

And wrestled wasted again in his very first appearance back, on the biggest show of the year.

He has been fired.

WARNING! Long post ahead with pictures!!

I Fully and 100% blame Historian and his series The Climb for the following. It's all his fault. :-p

So After reading The Climb and getting kinda bored with being one of the big players in the USA in the CVerse. I thought that perhaps I could do something similar to The Climb.

Enter Great Lakes Pro Wrestling. A Preformance equals Popularity company. I set the world up to my liking, most notably turning random generated workers to extremely high and to start right away.

GLPW started a local and we are nearly Regional as of Feb of 2020. We are finaincialy secure and have been making good money regularly now. We come in first in all three of our regional battles. Larry Vessey HATED us, but he's out of business now so HA!

No one in our company at the moment is paid over $900. Our backstage rating is 99% and we have no alliances or working agreements. Our shows are the Friday at the end of the month.

Some old reliable names have been with us from the start that I've gotten attached to. Mitico, Riley, Regular Joe, The Silencer, Ray Snow. I'll be sad if and when they get stolen.

There are also quite a few newly generated workers I'm high on:

new1.png"]new1.png[/url]

Recently picked this guy up, not a lot to him, atm. We'll see how it goes.

new2.png"]new2.png[/url]

Another Recent Hire. Tiger here will be given a shot with some of our established guys to sink or swim, much like the guy above him.

new3.png"]new3.png[/url]

Brutus here has gotten lost in the shuffle as of late which is mostly my fault. He's got all the tools to be a major player either for me or someone.

new4.png"]new4.png[/url]

Not sure about this one. Star Quality is an issue as is his 'meh' top row. He's young though. I may try to work a Legion of Doom/Road Warriors style tag team for him if I can find the right partner.

new5.png"]new5.png[/url]

A professor Nero regen I switched the picture of. He's got a lot of potential, but that average charisma...

new6.png"]new6.png[/url]

One of three workers I have with 90+ Menace. That Star Quality will hurt him no doubt, but a useful scary crazy man. In a tag team with Set Whitehead, AKA Mayhem as Mania and Mayhem.

new7.png"]new7.png[/url]

My Only Giant. Big and scary. Kinda been left aside, but again more my fault. Been thinking perhaps he needs a tag partner. My tag teams are kind thin, atm.

new6.png"]new8.png[/url]

Backstage troublemaker, but has really good potential to make something of himself so he gets a shot when I normally shy away from backstage roaches like him.

new9.png"]new9.png[/url]

Mystic X's tag team partner in Mystic Sabre. A solid hand, I don't see him burning the down the house. Still, I could be surprised.

new10.png"]new10.png[/url]

Love the picture, that Star Quality will hurt him, but a solid enough worker as he's worked decently well with my main eventers. He may need a manager....

new11.png"]new11.png[/url]

I wish he'd change his wrestling style, but I doubt that's happening soon. Another solid hand that I don't see being the reason for sellouts in the future.

So that's all of my newbies! It's time for the one and only... QUESTIONS TO THE READERS!!

1) Which of the newbies is the most impressive to you? The least impressive?

2) I've been tempted several times to join the COTT, but Larry Vessey had always blocked me. Now that he's out of business (HA! HA! HA!) should I join? Why?

3) what is the highest limit to PPA salary's you would go once you hit Regional? 1000? 1500? I am unsure.

4) Is it all Historian's fault? Trick question, it is 100% his fault. :D:p

<p>Just hit December 97 with SWF (97 mod) and am really hitting a good grove with some of my signings and everything.</p><p> </p><p>

Current Champs: </p><p>

Heavyweight Champ: Bruce the Giant won Feb. 97 in a triple threat match with Sam Keith and Christian Faith. </p><p> </p><p>

North American Champ: Tadiyuki Kikkawa (yes I added USA to his places of employment) won the title May 97 from Tommy Cornell.</p><p> </p><p>

Tag Team Title: Floyd International (Louis Figo Manico and El Bandido) won the titles from Sean McFly and Duane Stone in July 97</p><p> </p><p>

Vixxen Title: Victoria Stone won the title from Catherine Quine (the first-ever champ) in July 97</p><p> </p><p>

Current Storylines:</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Bruce the Giant vs Sean McFly</strong></p><p>

- Despite ending up on the losing end in his recent feud against Vengeance (Sean) Bruce specifically calls out the last man to take his title away to prove to everybody that he is the best in the world, that man is none other than Sean McFly.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Floyd International (El Bandido and Louis Figo Manico managed by Floyd Goldworthy) vs The Posse (Ricky Dale Johnson and Butch Wyatt [Colossus])</strong></p><p>

- Floyd International has taken on all comers for their titles, but ever since coming out victorious against the Chase Agency, The Posse has been on a roll. They are turning their attention to the titles, in hopes of dethroning the champs and finally tasting gold.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jack Bruce vs Tommy Cornell</strong></p><p>

- After Tommy turned on Jack, and costing him his match against Sam Keith, Jack has his sights set on revenge. Will he get his revenge, or will Tommy's new alliance with Richard Eisen prove to be too much.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mr. Supreme vs Christian Faith</strong></p><p>

- Sensing the impact Christian's last defeat (against Bruce the Giant) had on him, Mr. Supreme feels this is his big opportunity to elevate his position within SWF and goes on the attack.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Sid Street vs Vengeance</strong></p><p>

- Sensing the aging veteran is on the downslide, Vengeance promises to take Sid out and rid SWF of has-beens. (this is probably my worst storyline as I have no other idea about why Vengeance would attack Sid lol. Vengeance won his feud against Sean to help establish him as a ME, but he isn't ready to challenge for the World Title yet).</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Tadiyuki vs Duane</strong></p><p>

- Tadiyuki has been dominating since he first debuted in SWF and does not seem to be slowing down. Duane has been on a funk lately but hopes to turn it around by capturing his first singles gold. Will Duane be able to use his superior agility and technical prowess to overcome the dominating Tadiyuki? Or will Tadiyuki's power and fierceness be too much?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Big Easy vs Sam Keith</strong></p><p>

After dispatching Black Hat, The Big Easy is angered by being overlooked for another shot at Bruce and SWF Gold. Sam Keith feels The Big Easy is nowhere near on his level and is going to expose him to everybody.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Chase Agency (Morpheus and R.K. Hayes managed by Emma Chase) vs The DeColt Boys (Alex, Jack, and Steve)</strong></p><p>

- The Chase agency is not pleased that the DeColt Boy had a shot at the titles when they were left by the wayside. Plus they do not like that fact that the DeColt Boys are getting any attention at all. Wil the numbers gave be in favor of the DeColt Boys, or will the ever calculating Emma Chase find a 4th member for her Agency? (the third member of the Chase Agency is Bruce the Giant)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Natural w/Nicole Kiss vs Johnny Martin</strong></p><p>

Nobody is sure why The Natural targetted Johnny Martin, but it has become a heated rivalry as The Natural believes he deserves more time and feels that Johnny is not deserving because he is "boring and bland." (Ernie Turner and Rodger Dodger are in supporting roles with The Natural)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Liberty vs Bryan Vessey</strong></p><p>

- The impromptu tag team of Liberty and Eden are all about having fun, but Bryan is not a fan of their antics and feels that wrestling is something that should be taken seriously. Will Liberty and Eden be able to overcome one of the most fierce competitors in SWF?</p>

I have dug up my old 4C save.

It is May 2024, and we are stuck on the verge of Global - it's so hard to get the fifth region in Canada over 77 in importance. Even with 90 popularity across the country, we are not quite there.

Our early stars - Frankie Dee, Chris Flynn, Jacob Jett, Jamie Atherton and American Elemental II - all left within the first few years.

However, we fought back through the rise of Garry the Entertainer, Nathaniel Casino, High Flyin Hawaiian and Morgan Malone, plus the captures of Nicky Champion and Rocky Golden.

The current main eventers are:

- Rocky Golden

- Wolf Hawkins

- Freddy Huggins

- Extraordinario Jr

- Marshall Dillon

- High Flyin Hawaiian

- Trent Shaffer

- Nicky Champion

- Duane Stone

Stone is gradually being pushed out since he's declining physically; new signing Jay Chord may replace him, while regen Danny Gonzales (82 Brawling, 90+ Performance (including 100 for Basics), 80 Entertainment - all at age 27) is rising fast, as is SubUrban Legend.

My biggest problem is that I'm afraid to have current champion Rocky Golden lose a match, lest he sacrifice some popularity. His perfect 1000 score is invaluable for national battles. I think I'll just have to vacate the title!

The continued troubles of my WCW game...

So. About two weeks after not being able to get Hogan, Piper, or any of the major names from WWF or JCP.... I suddenly hit National.

This is somewhat infuriating and my star power isn't there yet for most of my top guys. I've only just made Warrior the figurehead. Vader got fired. Barbarian is over but turns out he has no real star quality, so that's not much use. Neither does Jerry Lawler apparently (at least not compared to Hogan, Andre, Sting, Luger, Flair etc...)

Also I have no real idea what I'm doing at the National scale. Made Thunder into an A show and got around the annoying Turner Broadcasting catch 22 by setting up a WCW Network. So now doing two weekly TV shows, monthly events on the network and occasional weekly ones, sometimes on the Network and sometimes off.

So I drop back to Cult. This is fine as it gives me time to build my younger stars up and work out who's got the star power to take on WWF and JCP.

I'm still really annoyed I couldn't get Hogan or Sting though.

I did get Bret Hart, Tito Santana, Mean Gene Okerlund and, erm... Koko B Ware and the Honky Tonk Man.

My plans to make Warrior and Barbarian into a tag team after their feud have been foiled, partly by Warrior almost botching a move on Barbarian, and then made worse by me trying to get two roided monsters to talk out their feelings.

So now they don't like each other and my dreams are ruined.

Also Lawler turned heel and joined the Dangerous Alliance. Seeing as someone in his three way feud with Rocky King and Vader needed to be the heel now Vader is gone, he's the next most over guy and the whole point of the feud was to build the heel (Vader) to go against Warrior, now Lawler is my top heel.

Might hold off on Warrior V Lawler for the next show though as I'm still in a shocked phase and won't gain popularity for a bit.

I'm having a best case scenario BCG save where I retained Razan & Tanyu, got TV, and made it to Cult without much drama.

Torii, who I usually find good not great, had a great 2016 title run before dropping to my favorite guy, Funakoshi. Torii has been so good, he and Blast, who has also been better than usual and well behaved, are now long term tag champs.

2017 saw an emerging Yoshinaka Taku win the Grand Prix after killing it in the tag division, but floundering with the big singles push and getting a bad attitude. Back in tags, he's rebounding well, though.

The big news in 2017 was BHOTWG, despite dropping to cult, buying GCG and not taking on their talent, meaning BCG added the entire GCG upper card for an invasion angle. Hiroyasu Gakusha is declining before 40, but the other guys rule. This scenario has breathed tons of new life into the company by adding countless fresh main events.

Razan is looking to end Funakoshi's two-year reign in late 2018, after really coming into his own with great scores and SQ, but Tanyu is in the picture long term, growing into our top big match point getter.

Been a while since i posted here but hopefully someone can understand what i'm going through. I finally started replaying TEW on my WWF montreal aftermath save. In June 99, four weeks away from KOTR. I don't know if all the new announcments for TEW 20 are making it impossible for me to just sit down and play or if this save is now just "complete" due to no competition from WCW. I have a problem when i play that makes me bid hard for the Hogan's of the world but once I have them, i want WCW to be more competitive! Hogan has been on holiday since Mania, so I don't really use him much. He turned half the locker room against Austin, who is my figurehead, so he's already doing damage backstage. I honestly wish he'd go to Japan or something but if i release him he just goes to WCW again and my competitive side won't let such a big name go there. I recently ran Over The Edge 99 and it did really well. I'm constantly pulling shows 90+ but not quite hit the 100 show, although some matches have on previous PPV's. I will run down the card but won't go into detail about storylines unless anyone is interested, just because it would turn into a mammoth post. babyfaces first and winners bolded!

Hardy Boyz Vs Reformed Nation (Mark Henry and D'lo Brown) rating 69

The Big Show© Vs Jeff Jarrett for the European Title. rating 81

Mankind Vs Kurt Angle (think i might have debuted him early so he's close to main event already) rating 97!

Owen Hart © Vs Sid Vicious for the IC title. Rating 81

Rock & Shamrock Vs Brothers of Destruction. Rating 99

Steve Austin and APA Vs DX (HHH, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg). Rating 94.

I knew in my gut that the semi main would probably beat the main but Austin is champ and even if the belt isn't defended, i still put the champion on last.

So is anyone else suffering from TEW 2020 being on the horizon? Do i keep going with this game and look for inspiration or maybe start a different game completely, either CVerse or different mod? How is everyone keeping themselves into 2016?

What grades-skin are you using for your game?

That was the prototype version of my Triple Grades (numbers+letters+Meltzer stars).

The final version is available at TEWDB.

For those who don't want numbers, there are another grade pack on HoPW combining letters with Meltzer's star ratings.

I'm also experimenting with a Quadruple Grade system (letters+numbers+Meltzer star+Muta scale).

Creating logos for some of my events. GIMP is not user friendly lol.. you get what you pay for I suppose. Some of these suck, but it's still fun to add some homemade graphics for immersion.<p><a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2019_08/666052155_SEWLogosCompilation.jpg.b539b5ef4098c03decbe64502acd0d94.jpg" data-fileid="3516" data-fileext="jpg" rel=""><img data-fileid="3516" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt="666052155_SEWLogosCompilation.thumb.jpg.e010396c988fd8c9be5d4a403127dcdc.jpg" data-src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2022_08/666052155_SEWLogosCompilation.thumb.jpg.e010396c988fd8c9be5d4a403127dcdc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a></p>

I don't have any issues with GIMP (I use it for video thumbnails), except the "smart" scissors are pretty dumb. I'd prefer Photoshop, but scrimping and saving to go to Florida next year means an extra £20 per month is an unnecessary expense at the moment!

You don't have to pay to get quality software. I stopped using Photoshop years ago. All my TEW and WMMA graphics have been made with Paint dot net.

It got a user friendly interface and is also very quick to work with. On the Paint dot net forum there are plenty of extra effects to download for free.

Paint dot net is actually so awesome that most of my graphics threads have won the prestigous "One Star Award" here on GDS.

<p><span style="font-family:'Microsoft Sans Serif';">Ladies and gentlemen, Happy New Year and best wishes for 2017, thank you for joining us as we bring you a special preview of PGHW's first-ever Wrestle Kingdom event! As we're led to believe, this is to replace Night of Honour as the eventual be-all, end-all of PGHW events and the 'season finale', if you will. You last met us as we recapped the 2016 PGHW Elite Tag Series that was a night we won't soon forget. This night, will surely follow suit and top it all. PRIDE Koiso comes into this match with a lot to prove. Of late, it seems he's been starting to show signs of decline in the ring but, at 39, he's determined to show he still has what it takes. For a competitor of his pedigree, over the course of his career, he has had surprisingly few title reigns. Let's not underestimate the value of 11 championship victories, but 6 of those were alongside Kozue Kawashima which has led many to believe that Koiso has only had the career he has had because of his association with the Glory Crown champion. On, what could become the new biggest stage in PGHW, can PRIDE Koiso win only the 3rd singles title of his career?</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Microsoft Sans Serif';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Microsoft Sans Serif';">

These two teams last met in a MOTY candidate bout in the final of the PGHW Elite Tag Series. The audience applauded and showed their appreciation for the duo and have cheered Ugaki like a hero for a long time now. Later that night that all changed when Ugaki joined forces with The Legacy, beat down the Blood Brothers and seemingly abandoned the Mushashibo led Seigigun stable. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Microsoft Sans Serif';">

There has never been an answer given as to why this happened. It just did. At Night of RESPECT, Mushashibo approached Ugaki in the ring. He stated his disapproval of Ugaki's actions and the betrayal he felt at his protége seemingly abandoning him and his stablemates. Ugaki responded by claiming he's outgrown Mushashibo, doesn't need him anymore and will prove it. Thus, the match was made. Mushashibo, arguably the GOAT, vs Ugaki, the potential future ace and hottest talent in the company at the moment. This has serious potential to be an absolutely incredible match.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Microsoft Sans Serif';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Microsoft Sans Serif';">

<div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:24px;">WCW 1994</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Titan Era:</strong> <strong>Roddy Piper </strong>and <strong>Randy Savage </strong>have been a huge nuisance in the backs on the WCW Roster since debuting, forming a sort of 2 Man Power Trip, claiming that they are "The Titans from New York who are here to dominate WCW". </p><p> </p><p>

They came into WCW immediately running into roadblocks in the form of <strong>Sting and Arn Anderson</strong>, loyal WCW veterans, which came to a head at Starrcade 1994 in a Titanic (pun intended) Tag Team Match. Savage and Piper walked out with the victory, but it was after this match concluded that things really went in The Titans' favor.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair</strong> have been battling left and right for most of 1994. Hogan won the first match at Bash of The Beach 1994, winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, but Ric Flair quickly won the title back at Halloween Havoc 1994, after Interference from his new Protege <strong>Jean-Paul Levesque.</strong> Since then, Hogan has been receiving back up against the forces of both Flair and Levesque from <strong>Brian Pillman</strong>, regularly saving him in 2 on 1 situations since Flair and Levesque paired up.</p><p> </p><p>

After Hogan defeated Flair in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match at Starrcade 1994 to re-gain the World Heavyweight Title, The Titans Piper and Savage ran in to ambush not only Hogan, but Ric Flair as well, attacking them both with Steel Pipes. Jean-Paul Levesque and Brian Pillman tried to save their mentors, but they both ended up getting beaten down as well, Levesque especially, with him being put on the shelf to recover from his injuries.</p><p> </p><p>

The next week, on the last episode of Saturday Night in 1994, <strong>Stunning Steve Austin</strong>, coming off of a huge loss to <strong>Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat</strong> for the United States Championship at Starrcade in an Ironman Match, shocked the world as he joined forces with Savage and Piper, turning on his former best friend Brian Pillman in the process. This alliance of Austin, Piper and Savage once again ran roughshod over the top stars of WCW, getting into a huge pull apart brawl with Hogan, Flair, Sting and Arn Anderson to end 1994.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Steiners vs Vicious N' Delicious</strong>: The Steiners spent most of 1994 teaming with <strong>Hacksaw Jim Duggan </strong>to feud with <strong>The Nation of Domination</strong> (Ron Simmons, Harlem Heat, 2 Cold Scorpio and Jacqueline Moore). Vicious N' Delicious formed over time as a result of Marcus Alexander Bagwell's metamorphosis from the Patriotic Good Guy to the Egotistical <strong>Buff Bagwell</strong>. Bagwell eventually joined forces with <strong>Scott Norton,</strong> aligning themselves with <strong>Lord Steven Regal</strong> as he went against <strong>Johnny B. Badd</strong>, who began to align himself with <strong>Diamond Dallas Page.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Now, the two teams are set to feud for the WCW World Tag Team Titles. As for Johnny B. Badd, he is the new WCW World Television Champion after defeating Regal at Starrcade 1994 for the title. However, he is now in the sights of Nation of Domination Leader Ron Simmons after Simmons dominated Jim Duggan at Starrcade, in The Nation's crusade to add Championship Gold to their resume.</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky Steamboat has caught the eye of <strong>Davey Boy Smith,</strong> who feels overlooked with everything going on in WCW since his return in 1994. He wants to prove that he is still a top guy, and he plans on defeating the Legendary Steamboat for the United States Championship to do so. However, with Ricky Steamboat proving that "he's still got it" and that he is still the Steamboat we know and love, that will definitely prove to be a tall task in the next coming months.</p><p> </p><p>

The first ever <strong>WCW World Cruiserweight Champion</strong> and <strong>WCW World Women's Champion</strong> were crowned at the end of 1994 as well. <strong>Sabu</strong> won the WCW Cruiserweight Open to become the first Cruiserweight Champion, defeating Eddie Guerrero in the finals. <strong>Candi Devine </strong>won the WCW World Women's Championship on the same night, defeating the entire Women's Division in a Gauntlet for The Gold.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>PLANS</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

</p><ul><li>Ric Flair will turn Babyface, and Hogan will create an alliance with Flair born of pure mutual respect, to battle Savage, Piper and Austin. However, Hogan will turn on Ric Flair and align with The Titan Era as their new leader, becoming Hollywood Hulk Hogan in the process.<br /> <br /></li><li>The Steiners will win their feud with Vicious N' Delicious<br /> <br /></li><li>Idk who will win between Steamboat and Davey, I might let Davey win eventually<br /> <br /></li><li>Simmons will eventually defeat Johnny for the TV Title<br /> <br /></li><li>The Titan Era's dominance will cause Sting to go Crow and Brian Pillman to turn into The Loose Cannon. Austin has evolved from his cocky persona to an Anti-Social Punk gimmick.<br /> <br /></li><li>i will eventually transition WCW Main Event into a show only for the Cruiserweights. <br /> <br /></li><li>I bought out AAA and FMW and made them Child Companies. My Plan is for WCW to develop its own internal territorial system, similar to what WWE is doing with NXT. <br /> <br /></li><li>Jean-Paul Levesque (Triple H) is developing further in FMW, I will call him back up when he is as developed as possible. I'll keep him as a heel, although loosely still on good terms with Flair.<br /></li></ul><p></p>

Deadman Legend Killer

Playing as FCW for the first time. Pushed up to Cult and was able to bring some bigger names in. With no issues with money we were able to bring in most available. Unfortunately most were in time decline.

Brought in Mexican Ghoul from SOTBPW who was only in early time decline and used him as a Deadman Legend Killer feuding with the furtherest in time decline attacking them backstage and during matches. This would culminate in a Casket Match which he would win. This helped me clean out my Roster over a year using the Pop from the wrestlers and being able to 'retire' them from FCW and pushing Mexican Ghoul up the roster.

I used El Mitico Jr as my face to finally confront Ghoul. Over 3-4 months he was able to stop a retirement and challenge Ghoul to a Casket match which he won and 'retired' Ghoul.

One of my most fun storylines that was outside of the box.

I’m playing WCW in 1995 I’m in December. I signed Bryan Clark with the plan of him and Adams being in the tag division until I decided to name him Storm and push him to the moon as a monster heel. Will it work? Maybe not but he’s gonna beat everyone and beat Hogan for the belt so what’s the worst that could happen

It could work in game for sure. In real life maybe it could have worked if it was booked to make sense.

Brian Adams and Bryan Clark were both good big guys. They had a lot of good qualities.

Started a new game as a local company yesterday in the C Verse. Made it to June, trying to get over the hump to Small but its tough because I am hitting regional battles already. In the 3 months I have been in them, I have come in 3rd, 3rd, and 5th (South West USA).

I am getting my best ratings from Amazing Fire Fly and Kamikaze, while Davis Wayne Newton is my top star. Also I was yesterday years old when I realized Davis can't play babyface anymore so he is due for a heel turn.

My NBTs are Felipe Caballero and Hudson Drake. Neither is getting the proverbial rocket on their back but both are being kept pretty strong.

I just added some more midcard/jobber guys in Lucas Danger, Brimstone, and El Orgulloso, bringing my roster up to 15 guys which I don't feel is too bad.

Once we hit small, I'll be crowning champions and maybe adding a bigger name or 2.

Currently enjoying my Impact save. Save started January 2017, and I'm now in February 2019. I've just gone National, but is nowhere near WWE in popularity. However, I have signed a few WWE wrestlers over the years, amongst others: Asuka, Natalya, R-Truth, Dustin Rhodes, Enzo Amore and Kalisto. And now, WWE is not offering new deals to Kane, Big Show and Chris Jericho (most likely do to their age), but I'm seriously considering offering a contract to one or two of them.

<p>Just finished Wrestlemania IX in my Rising Storms save, scoring 100 show rating in the process, my first of the save.</p><p> </p><p>

In the main event Randy Savage won the World Title from Ric Flair after a short, but heated, feud that merged multiple storylines together as Flair's Heenan Family stable mates Arn Anderson and Steve Austin, who were feuding with Mr. Perfect and Bret Hart Respectively, constantly tried to help Flair gain an early upper hand over Savage following his Royal Rumble win back in January. Savage's reign is planned to be shortish for the time as he will drop the belt at Summer Slam to either Ted DiBiase, who I want to give a small token Title reign too before he retires, or the monster known as Sid.</p><p> </p><p>

Speaking of Sid, in the co main event he beat the "Immortal" Hulk Hogan in a feud that has lasted since the previous years Summer Slam when Sid, who believed Hogan stole a Title opportunity from him, cost Hogan a match against Flair by slamming the door on the Hulkster as he tried to escape the cage in the main event. I put Sid over huge by not only having him beat Hogan but also inflicting enough damage after the match to have Hulk stretchered out. This is legitimately Hogan's exit from the company as I feel the time is right to let him go and work on building up new stars so the main event scene doesn't become stale.</p><p> </p><p>

Bret regained the Intercontinental Title after a long and bitter feud with "Stunning" Steve Austin. Bret will eventually lose the Title to Arn Anderson before getting his overdue main event push and dethroning DiBiase or Sid, depending on who I go with in taking the Title from Savage.</p><p> </p><p>

Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart lost the Tag Titles to the team known as Stars 'n' Stripes (The Patriot & George "The Eagle" Hines) The change was surprising give that The New Foundation only won the Titles in January at the Royal Rumble from Jake Roberts and the Undertaker. Plans are in motion though as the Foundation will take some time off before returning and going full heel on the patriotic duo, eventually winning the gold back at Summer Slam.</p><p> </p><p>

Following their defeat to the Foundation and then failing to win back the gold in a rematch Jake Roberts turned on the Undertaker, pinning all the blame on the dead man for their recent lack of success. Taker would win their first meeting at Wrestlemania IX but their saga is far from over and I have plans from both men to meet several times over the next few months.</p><p> </p><p>

The next year will be used to build up the next generation in the company as guys like Flair, DiBiase, Piper, SGT Slaughter and Savage will slowly start to be phased out in favour of guys like Bret Hart, Steve Austin, Sid, The Great Muta, Davey Boy Smith and the Undertaker who will carry the company into the next generation.</p>

I'm in a modern save where HHH is the baby face authority siding with Rollins in the Lesnar feud as Heyman plots to have Joe join him Lesnar. Joe already beat HHH inside of Hell In A Cell, and now they are captains of their respective Survivor Series teams this month. I made NXT a main Roster brand but run it as a 'B' show for now, and Edge is the Authority on it, while Regal runs the developmental brand which is now called the Performance Center. Sasha returned from hiatus pretending to be Bayley's friend still, but at Survivor Series will stab her in the back and take her title at Clash of Champions. I've had lots of interesting side stories happening as Gulak & Zayn have teamed up and stirred up a lot of trouble with the 'toxic backstage atmosphere' and acting like they're better than everyone. Did my own spin on the recent Roman was being attacked story, but made the reveal at Hell In A cell that it was Tommasso Ciampa after months of him investigating and seeking answers. They have a No DQ match set to take place at Survivor Series this month as well. Also set for Survivor Series, is the dream match (albeit 15-20 years too late) Undertaker vs Sting. Most fun I've ever had with a WWE save to this point.
