Without giving anything away can you say how many active storylines you got going on?

Usually one for each title plus one or two non-title feuds. Instead of giving future stuff away, I'll write what the feuds were for the last PPV:

1- Booker T/Raven

2- Morrus/Eddy & Chavo

3- DDP/RVD

4- O'Haire & Palumbo/Malenko & Saturn/Adams & Clark

5- Kidman/Sanders & Jindrak

6- Jung Dragons/3 Count

7- Storm & Awesome/Corino & Crowbar (dropped after two weeks when Storm got injured and Awesome got popped for hard drugs, for which I sent him to rehab)

Only the first four feuds are serious for me in terms of heat, the others are more just so the Cruiserweights and midcard don't get lost in the shuffle. The first four won't always all surpass my minimum heat requirement (currently 2 storylines with 77), but more often than not, two out of the four will. Booker is consistently my best performer, so I try to feed him the biggest stars to jack up his popularity.

Well whatever you're doing its working good job

<strong>Weekly News Update - Week 1, September 2001</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Sources can reveal that the latest developmental talent to receive the call-up to the main WCW roster is journeyman grappler Nick Dinsmore, who has been growing his beard and hair out for a gimmick idea the creative team have pitched — a deranged doctor. Talk about a dead-in-the-water gimmick.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: Raven’s Protest (80)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Raven%204_zpsmnr2wxw3.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Chris%20Kanyon_zps4weplurp.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

The show opens with Raven sat crosslegged in the ring. “I was robbed last night at Road Wild, Booker used an -illegal- foreign object to win the match. He stole the win, he’s a cheater! I don’t know where Shane McMahon is, I know he had an ‘accident’ last night — but I’m not leaving this ring until somebody with power makes this right! I want a rematch, and I want it tonight!” Raven sits in the ring for a minute or so, soaking in the crowd’s boos before he gets to his feet, addressing the hard camera: “I’m serious, we can do this all night. There has been a travesty of justice, and I’m not leaving until I get what I -deserve-!” </p><p> </p><p>

Almost on cue, the crowd erupts as Kanyon emerges from the audience, slides into the ring and nails Raven from behind! Kanyon lays in hard shots to the head as Raven squirms, screaming in pain. He finally manages to wriggle out, fleeing desperately up the ramp as Kanyon watches him with a devious grin, saying nothing.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Elix Skipper, Kid Romeo & 3 Count vs Jung Dragons & Air Raid - 12:00 (66)</strong></p><p>

A chaotic ten-man tag opener that sees both teams engaging in aerial warfare. By the end, after a series of finishers and dives wipes out the bulk of both sides, Shane Helms has Yang isolated in the middle of the ring and hits the Vertebreaker for the clean pin. 3 Count make gestures around their waist afterwards, indicating that despite their loss on PPV, they still want the Cruiserweight Trios titles.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner: Elix Skipper, Kid Romeo & 3 Count</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: The Enforcer speaks (75)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Arn%20Anderson%207_zpsdhxshxhj.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Arn Anderson gets up from the commentator’s desk and takes a microphone, entering the ring. “Ladies, gentlemen, I have an announcement to make. Shane McMahon cannot be here tonight, he’s being treated in a medical facility after the unprovoked assault by a WWF-contracted talent at the close of the pay-per-view. His name is Paul Wight, in the WWF he is billed as the Big Show, but longtime WCW fans may know him as the Giant.” Anderson explains that Shane has put him in charge until he returns, and that he’s under strict orders to keep the peace and ensure that WWF wrestlers cannot terrorise the WCW locker room. He announces that he’s doubled arena security, and personally enlisted WCW talent to repel any intruders.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: Kanyon promo (69)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Gene%20Okerlund%202_zpsini3f2io.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Chris%20Kanyon_zps4weplurp.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Gene Okerlund is backstage with an exhilarated Kanyon, who paces back and forth with nervous energy. “I trusted you, Raven. You took that trust and you stabbed me in the back! You took me out and you put me out. And now you’re gonna find that payback is coming, and payback’s a bitch.” He grins maniacally at an uncomfortable Gene.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rob Van Dam vs The Funkster - 6:00 (65)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Rob%20Van%20Dam_zpsmhyyegx2.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/wcwvs_zpsxl49on5w.png</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/The%20Funkster_zpsc5xe3c5w.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

RVD is already in the ring when the opening strains of American Made hit: “He’s got the Red, White and Blue runnin’ through his veins!” Out comes Kwee Wee doing a Hulk Hogan impression, flexing and posing for the camera. Despite trying a few of the Hulkster’s trademark spots, RVD stops his hulking up with a kick to the head and finishes him off with the Five Star Frog Splash.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner: Rob Van Dam</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: The Dynasty Expands (55)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Miss%20Hancock_zpskrg1mfqy.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Shawn%20Stasiak_zpskrxrdwkr.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/David%20Flair_zpsxcp6wmxl.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Randy%20Orton_zpszvizysrk.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Stacy Keibler is backstage with Shawn Stasiak and David Flair, and informs them she’s been scouting the wrestling scene for new clients, and has found one. Stasiak and Flair look nervous, as if they think they’re about to be replaced, before Keibler clarifies that he has superior lineage and genetics, and will make an invaluable addition to the Dynasty. She introduces Randy Orton, son of Cowboy Bob Orton, who stands there nodding confidently as he chews gum.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Hugh Morrus & Billy Kidman vs Los Guerreros - 18:00 (83)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Hugh%20Morrus_zpsmc2y7azt.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/BillyKidmankyky_zpsv3ejofoa.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/wcwvs_zpsxl49on5w.png</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Eddy%20Guerrero_zpsdxzst5kp.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Chavo%20Guerrero%20Jr_zpseehinxo8.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Eddy and Chavo are out in matching tights and introduced as “Los Guerreros”, Chavo still carrying the stolen Cruiserweight title. Morrus and Kidman have them on the run in the early going, but as Eddy distracts the referee, Chavo low-blows Kidman to get the heat. Billy eventually tags to Morrus, who runs wild and goes up top for the No Laughing Matter. Rob Van Dam’s theme hits and a cocky RVD strolls down to ringside munching an apple — Morrus is momentarily distracted, and Eddy pushes him from the top and hits his own Frog Splash for the win. RVD laughs, shrugs and leaves.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner: Eddy Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: A Tradition Returns (67)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Arn%20Anderson%207_zpsdhxshxhj.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Arn Anderson is backstage in Shane McMahon’s office, in front of a stand with a sheet over it. He addresses the audience: “I’ve had to announce bad news tonight, but there’s some good too. I’m a simple man, old-fashioned, a man of tradition — part of why I love WCW is that tradition is respected. Well, Shane McMahon signed off on something last week, and I now it’s my honor to announce it… the return of a tradition.” He pulls the sheet off to unveil a new championship belt:</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/tvtitlefinal_zpsq3efw1na.png</span></p><p> </p><p>

“The WCW Television Championship of the World. I’ve held this title longer than anyone… eight-hundred seventy days, and I know how important it is. It teaches you to always be ready, against all comers, because this championship will be defended -every- week on WCW Saturday Night, including next week… in a twenty-man battle royal.”</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Christopher Daniels vs The Real D’Lo - 10:00 (53)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Christopher%20Daniels_zpsp95iqwhj.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/wcwvs_zpsxl49on5w.png</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/DLo%20Brown%202_zpsg4baph73.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

D’Lo is out for revenge after Daniels stole the pin on PPV, and the crowd seem to side with him as a babyface during the encounter. After playing to the crowd, D’Lo looks to put away Daniels with Sky High off the top turnbuckle, but James Mitchell desperately drags his client from the ring. D’Lo rolls outside and lays his hands on Mitchell, but Daniels seizes the opportunity to throw his distracted opponent into the ring-post then finish him off inside the ring with the Angel’s Wings.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner: Christopher Daniels</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Diamond Dallas Page & Booker T vs Natural Born Thrillers - 22:00 (84)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Diamond%20Dallas%20Page_zpsfca71kzu.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Booker%20T_zpssx8il2jn.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/wcwvs_zpsxl49on5w.png</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Chuck%20Palumbo_zpsycvvshzr.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Sean%20OHaire_zpseth8qhqk.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

All four men are fan favourites, and they shake hands to begin with in a show of sportsmanship that earns applause from the crowd. The tag-specialists O’Haire and Palumbo get an early advantage, working on DDP but Booker eventually gets the hot tag and unloads on both men. Things break down, with all four men in the ring and the referee trying to establish control — when all four Radicalz sweep in from ringside and attack all four men.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner: No-Contest</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: A Radical Beatdown (100)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Eddy%20Guerrero_zpsdxzst5kp.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Dean%20Malenko_zpsxxurrxce.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Perry%20Saturn_zps4q1oq0yk.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Diamond%20Dallas%20Page_zpsfca71kzu.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Booker%20T_zpssx8il2jn.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Chuck%20Palumbo_zpsycvvshzr.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Sean%20OHaire_zpseth8qhqk.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/The%20Giant_zpssep6p12u.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Despite having the element of surprise, the Radicalz are soon at risk of being overwhelmed by Booker, DDP and the Thrillers until the Giant jogs down to ringside, the crowd showering him with boos. He throws around the babyfaces like rag-dolls, before planting Booker and DDP with a double chokeslam. The Radicalz and Giant continue beating down and mocking the four babyfaces, prompting Tenay to ask: “Is there collusion here? Four of these men come from the WWF — is it a conspiracy? An invasion?”</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: Arn announces Night of Champions next week (63)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Arn%20Anderson%207_zpsdhxshxhj.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

The Enforcer is backstage watching a monitor of the Radicalz beatdown, shaking his head. He turns to the camera: “You know, Radicalz, I’d fire the lot of you this instant if you weren’t WCW United States and World Tag Team champions, and if one of you wasn’t in custody of a stolen Cruiserweight championship. But of course that would be too easy, and there’s nothing more important than the prestige of our championship titles — so next week, you will be forced to put -all- of those belts on the line. It will be a Night of Champions, and by God, you better be ready for the best competition WCW has to offer.”</p><p> </p><p>

WCW United States Championship

Eddy Guerrero © vs Hugh Morrus

Comments: Hugh is just here to put guys over at this point. He can work a decent match and not injury anyone, but that is about it. Eddie makes a great US Champion in WCW.

WCW World Tag Team Championship

Radicalz (Dean Malenko & Perry Saturn) © vs KroniK (Brian Adams & Bryan Clark)

Comments: KroniK seem to have considerable momentum and make some sense as champions -- I have to think Malenko and Saturn actually make more sense as challengers.

WCW Television Championship - 20 Man Battle-Royal

Featuring: Crowbar, Steve Corino, Dave Taylor, Dr. Nick Dinsmore, The Real D’Lo

Shawn Stasiak, David Flair, Randy Orton, Elix Skipper, Kid Romeo,

Cash, Christopher Daniels, Reno, Johnny the Bull, The Funkster,

Norman Smiley, Lance Storm, Mark Jindrak, Mike Sanders, Lash LeRoux

Comments: D'Lo or Daniels will take this one. With Daniels getting the TV win, I think D'Lo is going to get the PPV win -- Daniels can even the score on Television with a countout/dq win.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship

Billy Kidman © vs Chavo Guerrero Jr.

Comments: I don't think Kidman is championship material. Chavo is only slightly better, but he's aligned with the Revolution, so he takes this one. Later down the line, he could very well feud with Eddie over the belt as well.

WCW Cruiserweight Trios Championship - No. 1 Contender

Jason Jett & Air Raid (Air Paris & Air Styles) vs 3 Count (Shane Helms, Shannon Moore & Evan Karagias)

Comments: A toss-up -- but I'm going with Three Count here as they are cohesive and more of a unit.

Shawn Stasiak, David Flair, Randy Orton, Elix Skipper, Kid Romeo,

Cash, Christopher Daniels, Reno, Johnny the Bull, The Funkster,

Norman Smiley, Lance Storm, Mark Jindrak, Mike Sanders, Lash LeRoux

Comments: Tough call, im thinking Daniels, but Randy Orton may just steal the whole lot and make a big impact as the new guy, kids got talent

WCW Cruiserweight Championship

Billy Kidman © vs Chavo Guerrero Jr.

Comments: Chavo, clean sweep for the Radicalz

WCW Cruiserweight Trios Championship - No. 1 Contender

Jason Jett & Air Raid (Air Paris & Air Styles) vs 3 Count (Shane Helms, Shannon Moore & Evan Karagias)

Comments: 3 Count...time they had a number one hit

Weekly News Update - Week 2, September 2001

On the morning of September 11, 2001, al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked

four commercial airplanes, deliberately crashing two of the planes into the upper floors of the North and South towers of the World Trade Center complex and a third plane into the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The Twin Towers ultimately collapsed because of the damage sustained from the impacts and the resulting fires. After learning about the other attacks, passengers on the fourth hijacked plane, Flight 93, fought back, and the plane was crashed into an empty field in western Pennsylvania about 20 minutes by air from Washington, DC. The attacks killed an estimated 3,000 people. Our deepest condolences go out to all those affected by this tragedy.

In wrestling news, the Real D’Lo sustained a calf tear after his match on WCW Worldwide this week. He is expected to take a week out to heal up. Lance Storm is expected to return from injury anytime soon.

WCW Saturday Night - Week 2, September 2001

Dark Matches:

Kanyon beat Slash [developmental tryout] (58)

Angle: 9/11 Ten Bell Salute (98)

The show opens with a 9/11 memorial package, and the quote: ‘“Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America. These acts shatter steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve.” - President George W. Bush.’ The WCW roster are assembled on the stage and ramp, their heads bowed as they lead a ten bell salute in honor of the victims of 9/11. Afterwards, the audience break into a sustained round of applause, chanting “U-S-A! U-S-A!” Tonight’s edition is dedicated to all those who lost their lives in the tragedy.

No. 1 Contender for WCW Cruiserweight Trios Championship: Jason Jett & Air Raid vs 3 Count - 11:00 (68)

http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Jason%20Jett_zps6hr24h9b.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Air%20Paris_zpsqeeueugl.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/AJ%20Styles_zpsmzruggpb.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/wcwvs_zpsxl49on5w.pnghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Shane%20Helms_zpsa1omucvp.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Shannon%20Moore_zps2iykwdl6.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Evan%20Karagias_zpsiamkvklt.jpg

The two trios work with a relentless, aggressive pace as its clear that both teams want to be No. 1 Contender. Jason Jett gets an early near-fall with the Crash Landing suplex on Karagias, but Moore breaks it up just in time. In the end, Air Styles has Helms in the Styles Clash position when Karagias bails into the ring and superkicks him on the button. Styles slumps over as Helms recovers long enough to hit the Vertebreaker and claim the victory.

Winner: New No. 1 Contender for WCW Cruiserweight Trios Championships, 3 Count

Angle: Raven promo (84)

http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Raven%204_zpsmnr2wxw3.jpg

A cautious Raven is backstage, looking askance as if Kanyon could be around any corner. He addresses the camera, cutting a promo on his nemesis: “You never were a smart guy, Chris. Last week, you wanted to make a name at my expense, huh? You want payback? Well, you’re gonna a receipt, alright — this time, I’m not sending you to the hospital. You’re going straight to the morgue, Chris. You’re -dead-.”

WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Billy Kidman © vs Chavo Guerrero Jr. - 18:00 (75)

http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/BillyKidmankyky_zpsv3ejofoa.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/wcwcw_zpswnxbhxzs.pnghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Chavo%20Guerrero%20Jr_zpseehinxo8.jpg

Chavo comes out with the stolen Cruiserweight championship, showing it off to the fans at ringside. An infuriated Kidman takes the fight to him early, the match resembling a brawl more than the typical Cruiserweight encounter. Chavo works on the leg throughout, and is rewarded late in the match when Kidman attempts the Kid Krusher and his leg gives out. Chavo locks in the Lasso from El Paso in the centre of the ring, and after a full agonising minute in the hold, Kidman is forced to submit, tears in his eyes.

Winner: New WCW Cruiserweight Champion, Chavo Guerrero Jr.

Angle: RVD explains his actions (60)

http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Gene%20Okerlund%202_zpsini3f2io.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Rob%20Van%20Dam_zpsmhyyegx2.jpg

Gene Okerlund is backstage with a disinterested Rob Van Dam. Gene asks him why he interrupted Hugh Morrus’ match last week, and Van Dam shrugs: “I do what I want, dude. I don’t owe you an explanation, and I sure as heck don’t owe these lazy fans one.” He saunters off, clearly bored with the interview.

At the open of the match, the Funkster struts in the centre of the ring, playing air guitar and tearing his shirt — about a dozen wrestlers team up to body-surf him to the outside. Eliminations come in thick and fast afterwards, with Jindrak throwing out five men, and we’re soon down to a final four of Storm, D’Lo, Daniels and Corino. Storm and Daniels strike an alliance, teaming up to eliminate D’Lo. When the duo have Corino on the ropes, Daniels suddenly turns on Storm and pushes both men to the floor!

Winner: New WCW Television Champion, Christopher Daniels

Angle: Booker T promo on Giant (86)

http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Gene%20Okerlund%202_zpsini3f2io.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Booker%20T_zpssx8il2jn.jpg

Gene Okerlund is backstage with Booker T, and asks the WCW World Heavyweight Champion if it’s any relief that he’s not defending his title tonight. Booker stares Gene down: “Tell me you didn’t just say that, sucka. We got those Radicalz and that Giant running roughshod over WCW, kicking my ass last week, and you think I’m stood here relieved? I’m pissed off, man — so maybe I ought to go see Arn and do something about it.” He strides off purposefully.

WCW World Tag Team Championship: Dean Malenko & Perry Saturn © vs KroniK - 16:00 (82)

http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Dean%20Malenko_zpsxxurrxce.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Perry%20Saturn_zps4q1oq0yk.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/wcwnewtag_zpsqt466cq9.pnghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Brian%20Adams_zps8txes64b.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Bryan%20Clark_zpsymprtd6l.jpg

KroniK are pumped up, dominating the match at first as Malenko and Saturn can’t seem to get any offense going. The Radicalz attempt to stall by rolling outside of the ring, and their tactic eventually pays off as their opponents begin to get tired, and Malenko and Saturn’s stamina allows them to take over. The Radicalz work a slow, scientific match-up working Adams down, with the crowd rousing him long enough to make a hot tag to Bryan Clark! Clark clears house on both men and nails Saturn with a chokeslam in the centre of the ring, but the pinfall attempt is broken up when Malenko hits him with a WCW World Tag Team title belt. KroniK get the win by DQ, but the Radicalz hang onto their titles.

Winner: KroniK (by DQ)

Angle: Natural Born Thrillers backstage (79)

http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Sean%20OHaire_zpseth8qhqk.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Chuck%20Palumbo_zpsycvvshzr.jpg

Sean O’Haire and Chuck Palumbo are watching the finish to the last match on a TV monitor backstage, and are infuriated, Palumbo flipping the TV from its stand. “Those cowards will do anything to hold onto -our- Tag Team titles,” Palumbo spits. O’Haire nods, agreeing: “Those two have one hell of an beating coming their way. And the Guerreros. And Giant. So many asses to kick, so little time.”

WCW United States Championship: Eddy Guerrero © vs Hugh Morrus - 22:00 (77)

http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Eddy%20Guerrero_zpsdxzst5kp.jpghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/wcwus_zps27gz2few.pnghttp://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Hugh%20Morrus_zpsmc2y7azt.jpg

Morrus seems serious and driven tonight, looking to reclaim the US Championship. Eddy takes some crazy bumps as he sells for Morrus’ powerhouse offense, before RVD’s music plays and Van Dam saunters down to ringside again. He watches coolly from near commentary, as Tenay asks: “What the hell are you doing?” Morrus seems to have learnt from last week and pays no heed to Guerrero, keeping on top of him. When he goes up top for the No Laughing Matter, Eddy rolls to the outside and walks up the ramp, deciding he’s had enough. Morrus wins by count-out, but Guerrero is still champion.

Winner: Hugh Morrus (by count-out)

Angle: Arn Anderson announces Fall Brawl main-event(84)

http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Arn%20Anderson%207_zpsdhxshxhj.jpg

Arn Anderson is in Shane McMahon’s office backstage, addressing the camera with a bemused tone: “I should have known that the Radicalz would do anything to keep their championships, be it getting disqualified or running away from a fight. You must think you’ve outsmarted old Arn Anderson, huh?”

He shakes his head, and leans in close, speaking softly but seriously: “No, no you ain’t. Because I’ve been talking to Booker T, and at the next pay-per-view Fall Brawl, I’ve made a match with no interference, no disqualifications and no escape. It will be Team WCW versus the Radicalz and the Giant… and it will be WarGames. Locked in a steel cage, you will fight and you will bleed — and you will survive or you will surrender. May God have mercy on you all.” The crowd pop big for the announcement as the show goes off the air.

Kidman/NBT - Eddy not being in this match makes it seem like a good one for the faces to pick up a little comeuppance.

RVD - Just a bigger deal at this point than the still semi-damaged D'Lo.

Raven

Daniels

Shannon Moore - If 3 Count don't pick up a win or two against the Dragons, they're gonna be in full jobber mode.

Kanyon welcomes us to his chat-show, “Kanyon’s Edge”, and calls out his guest for the night… Raven: “You and me need to sit down and have a long talk, buddy. Come on, come on out, what are you afraid of?” Kanyon is met with silence, and it’s clear Raven won’t be accepting the invitation. Kanyon continues: “Maybe you’re afraid of what’s gonna happen when I get my hands on you. I’ll be honest, maybe I’m a little afraid too, afraid I’ll go too far and lose control. Because as you said, I’m not a smart guy — no, I’m a monster. And you made this monster, Raven.”</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Shannon Moore vs Kaz Hayashi - 12:00 (69)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Shannon%20Moore_zps2iykwdl6.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/wcwvs_zpsxl49on5w.png</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Kaz%20Hayashi_zps768fz2pd.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

The rest of 3 Count and the Jung Dragons are at ringside, supporting their respective stablemates. Things break down at ring-side, with Helms and Karagias provoking Yang and Tajiri into a fight. The referee is forced to expel all four men, and as his back is turned, Moore attempts to waffle Hayashi with a steel chair — he dodges and hits the Hayashi Cutter for the win!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner: Kaz Hayashi</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: Booker talks to DDP about joining WarGames team (88)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Booker%20T_zpssx8il2jn.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Diamond%20Dallas%20Page_zpsfca71kzu.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Booker T is backstage talking to Diamond Dallas Page — we can’t hear what they’re saying, but from their body language, both look pretty determined and excited, with DDP miming hitting a Diamond Cutter on an imaginary opponent. On commentary, Mike Tenay explains that Booker is captain of Team WCW for the WarGames match, and is talking to potential team-mates for the big match.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: Mitchell hypes Daniels up (35)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/James%20Vandenburg_zpsy7ecbgvp.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Christopher%20Daniels_zpsp95iqwhj.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

James Mitchell is in the ring, and gives a special ring introduction to his client, Christopher Daniels: “From the City of Angels comes a saviour, a lost soul cast down to the underworld and bound in earthly chains until the Day of Reckoning. But when judgement comes, and the darkness at last triumphs over the light, he will reclaim what was once his. I give to you the WCW Television Champion of the World, the Fallen Angel… Christopher Daniels!”</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WCW Television Championship: Christopher Daniels © vs Lash LeRoux - 10:00 (63)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Christopher%20Daniels_zpsp95iqwhj.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/tvtitlefinal_zpsq3efw1na.png</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Lash%20LeRoux_zpsl3xgf7yl.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

This has the feel of an exhibition match, with Daniels toying with LeRoux and drawing out the match with slow, methodical matwork. LeRoux briefly rallies with a series of clotheslines, but Daniels quickly cuts him off and hits the Angel’s Wings for a convincing victory and title retention.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner: Still WCW Television Champion, Christopher Daniels</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: Booker talks to Billy Kidman about WarGames (86)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Booker%20T_zpssx8il2jn.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/BillyKidmankyky_zpsv3ejofoa.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Booker T is backstage with Billy Kidman, who looks glum and worn out — as if he’s barely slept since losing his Cruiserweight championship. Booker gives him some reassuring words of advice and pats him on the shoulder, and Kidman nods with a determined glint in his eyes.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: The Giant hijacks the WCW feed (89)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/The%20Giant_zpssep6p12u.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

The screen cuts out with static, and the Giant appears to be in the WCW production truck, manhandling a terrified producer. He points into the camera and snarls, cutting a menacing promo: “WarGames — you think I’m afraid, huh? Survive or surrender, huh? Be careful what you wish for, WCW — when I play games, I play to win.” Static fades in again and the WCW feed is restored.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Raven vs Hugh Morrus - 14:00 (82)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Raven%204_zpsmnr2wxw3.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/wcwvs_zpsxl49on5w.png</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Hugh%20Morrus_zpsmc2y7azt.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

As Raven walks to the ring, he looks half-afraid, glancing around as if Kanyon could be anywhere. He seems distracted as he wrestles Morrus, with the big man easily getting the better of him. Raven takes things to the outside with some dirty brawling, before a fan wearing a DDP cut-out mask seemingly grabs him by the hair and tries to yank him over the guard-rail. Wait, that’s no fan — it’s Kanyon! The ref calls for the DDP as Kanyon pummels Raven with lefts and rights.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner: Raven (by DQ)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: No Laughing Matter (60)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Hugh%20Morrus_zpsmc2y7azt.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Rob%20Van%20Dam_zpsmhyyegx2.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Morrus is left in the ring shaking his head bemused as he watches Raven flee through the crowd, Kanyon giving chase. The crowd erupt as they realise that Rob Van Dam has sneaked in, waiting for Morrus to turn around — and as he does, Morrus dodges RVD’s wheel-kick and sends him tumbling to the floor outside with a big clothesline over the top!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: Booker talks to Natural Born Thrillers (85)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Booker%20T_zpssx8il2jn.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Sean%20OHaire_zpseth8qhqk.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Chuck%20Palumbo_zpsycvvshzr.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Booker is backstage talking to Sean O’Haire and Chuck Palumbo, presumably about WarGames. When he’s finished talking, the two almost explode with anticipation, Palumbo pacing back and forth as O’Haire grabs Booker and shakes him. Booker just laughs, clearly appreciating the enthusiasm.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rob Van Dam vs The Real D’Lo - 10:00 (71)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Rob%20Van%20Dam_zpsmhyyegx2.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/wcwvs_zpsxl49on5w.png</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/DLo%20Brown%202_zpsg4baph73.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Rob Van Dam is back in the ring, rubbing his jaw after Morrus’ clothesline earlier. D’Lo puts a beating on RVD early on, but Van Dam takes over with a series of kicks and strikes. He dominates his opponent for a little, before mouthing off directly to the camera: “Hope you’re watching, Hugh Morrus, if that’s your -real- name, man.” He goes up top and hits the Five Star Frog Splash for the clean victory.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner: Rob Van Dam</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: Booker talks to KroniK (79)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Booker%20T_zpssx8il2jn.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Brian%20Adams_zps8txes64b.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Bryan%20Clark_zpsymprtd6l.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Booker is backstage yet again, this time talking to Bryan Clark and Brian Adams, who are pumping weights in their locker room. Booker nods thoughtfully, scratching his chin as he explains things to the pair. On commentary, an incredulous Bobby Heenan exclaims: “Two, four, six… how many guys are on Booker’s team, Tenay?”</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Billy Kidman & Natural Born Thrillers vs Radicalz (Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn & Chavo Guerrero Jr.) - 18:00 (83)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/BillyKidmankyky_zpsv3ejofoa.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Chuck%20Palumbo_zpsycvvshzr.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Sean%20OHaire_zpseth8qhqk.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/wcwvs_zpsxl49on5w.png</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Dean%20Malenko_zpsxxurrxce.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Perry%20Saturn_zps4q1oq0yk.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Chavo%20Guerrero%20Jr_zpseehinxo8.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

Eddy Guerrero is on commentary, deflecting Tenay’s questions about whether the Radicalz are in league with the Giant. Kidman’s leg is heavily bandaged, and he resorts to ground-based offense in the early going, clearly unable to rely on his high-flying arsenal. The match eventually descends into an all-out chaotic brawl, and as Chavo and Saturn trade blows with O’Haire and Palumbo outside, Malenko ratchets on the Texas Cloverleaf. The pain proves too much for Kidman, who is forced to tap yet again.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Winner: Radicalz</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angle: Booker announces WarGames team, brawl (97)</strong></p><p>

<span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Eddy%20Guerrero_zpsdxzst5kp.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Dean%20Malenko_zpsxxurrxce.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Perry%20Saturn_zps4q1oq0yk.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Chavo%20Guerrero%20Jr_zpseehinxo8.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Booker%20T_zpssx8il2jn.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Diamond%20Dallas%20Page_zpsfca71kzu.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Sean%20OHaire_zpseth8qhqk.jpg</span><span>http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z459/kazkukat/WCW%202001/Chuck%20Palumbo_zpsycvvshzr.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

All four Radicalz celebrate in the ring when Booker T’s music interrupts. Booker comes out and announces that he’s chosen Team WCW’s members: “Let the games begin, sucka!” At that point, DDP sneaks up on Eddy Guerrero from behind and hits the Diamond Cutter! Booker runs to the ring and is joined by O’Haire and Palumbo, who clear the ring of the remaining Radicalz. Booker, DDP and the Natural Born Thrillers stand tall — Team WCW is ready! </p><p> </p><p>
