Thanks... I saw them a couple of months then... on little question, after putting the pictures in the proper folder, how to have them in the game ? Because I still have the originals ranks.

Edit : Mea culpa, in fact it is ok as for skills. For there is any chance to have Letters + Numbers for popularity ?

It's been awhile since I've been around this community, and I know the new TEW has many changes. Before buying the game and committing to playing (I bought TEW 2013 and never played it) I wanted to know a few things if you could be so kind to help:

Primarily, my concern has been with female workers. Obviously, in the past 1-2 years we have seen women become a significant part of the show. How difficult is it to book them like their male counterparts and get them over, and which mod (although this may be personal opinion) has the best female stats.

I ask because something like Banks vs. Bayley from Brooklyn would have never happened on older mods. Women's stats were almost criminally low across the board. Now with popularity shifts and workrate improvements we are seeing more and more fantastic matches stateside (joshi has put out quality work constantly).

I'd hate to embark on booking a women's division only to have the roster be unable to provide excellent matches which they are proving to be able to do. Especially the top tier of the division currently. And I don't have the time to individually edit each and every woman in a particular database.

Thanks! Appreciate the time.

The weakness of the Women's scene is a big reason I was never able to get into the C-Verse, although in fairness I haven't even looked at the 2016 version of the C-Verse, so no clue if any improvements have been made.

I will say the Thunderverse has a very deep Women's scene, and it's a big reason I got into it. It's not incredibly strong at the "top tier" in the U.S. (meaning the big three), but there are some nice pieces you could build with. The real strength of the women's scene lies in the indies. There is a ton of young talent to develop and build around. I've played a few games with all women promotions in T-Verse and the talent pool is deep enough to put on strong cards with a 50/50 product (Rated equally on Performance and Popularity).

Plus one of the new improvements to 2016 in TEW, it's now easier than ever to get "unknowns" who work for big promotions over to a respectable level...just by using them. Obviously once they get to that respectable level (around opener/lower midcard overness level) you have to book them to get some momentum to continue climbing in popularity, but the talent pool is very much there in T-Verse, ya just gotta use them and let them get over.

From a real world stand point, Fliesch's Real World Chronicles has a pretty strong representation of the current real world scene.

Hope this helps some.

Figured I would post this here, in addition to my thread.

I'm interested in passing the EffVerse torch off to someone else, if there is anyone who would like to see it through to a finished product. With a baby on the way, I just don't have the time to complete it.

The mod has solid bones, but still needs a lot of work. I have all kinds of renders and promotion logos that I can supply as well.

I don't want to hand it off to just anyone, but if you're interested you are welcome to shoot me a message.

I hope people have gotten at least a little enjoyment out of my mods over the years and I apologize for not being able to get this one completed.

I've been working for a while on a real world fantasy scenario that is set in January 1996. The story of the scenario is heavily based on Adam Ryland's original "NWA Domination" data from EWR, where WWF fails with WrestleMania and goes bankrupt and NWA manages to get global control of the wrestling business. The data is based off BurningHamster's (with his blessing) TEW2010 mod "The War Begins" that is also set in January 1996.

Of course since the original scenario is set in the 2000s, there are multiple differences between that and my version (tentatively titled "snoDom"). I haven't even attempted to copy NWA Domination, I've merely tried to create a new database using the story (and Hamster's data) as a base and making adjustments where necessary, but also just changing things for the fun of it. This includes creating new promotions, adjusting promotion sizes from the original scenario to what they could conceivably achieve in this scenario and changing some of the fortunes of wrestlers for a few surprises along the way.

I've done several sims already and there are a few notable problems: the large Japanese promotions disbanding one of the smaller Japanese promotions and every once in a while a promotion manages to go bankrupt even though the NWA is set as a consortium. There are also several loans happening that leads to employment histories like these:

http://i.cubeupload.com/tkqdIT.png

I'm not a fan of a mess of an employment history like that, but I also don't want to turn loans off in NWA, since that would leave alliance titles without much of a purpose.

I should also note that I've deleted dozens of workers from the original Hamster data (including all yet-to-debut workers) and re-worked much of the stats and pops of wrestlers. I've also foolishly decided to go ahead with creating an unique picture pack from scratch featuring, for example, worker pics like that of Bret Hart above.

I'm also using my own injury and gimmick file, the latter of which has resulted in hundreds of workers still lacking default gimmicks. Most of the workers of major (Cult or above) promotions already have a full injury history with realistic wear-and-tear to fully take advantage of the games' features.

At the moment just under 60% of the active wrestlers still lack a proper picture, most don't have a default gimmick and nearly everyone has an improper bio (by that I mean it was written by BurningHamster and contains references to the "real world"). Belt histories, both Hall of Fames and Hall of Immortals as well as yearly awards are also empty.

So....I have a project I'd like to farm out to anyone interested. I've ported over my Celebrity Mod and, as it was created in 2010, the renders (by my standards) are woefully out of date.

I am looking for someone who would like to update them. There are 50 and I only have two criteria that I would like whoever wishes to take this on to adhere to:

Renders should be in the spirit of the original - I really would like someone who wants to put their own spin on these characters without extreme deviation from the original concept. I do not want exact copies (except for Bruce Campbell).

Renders should be on a transparent background and be converted to GIF format - I would like to take advantage of this new feature in 2016.

Have fun, be entertaining, a little goofy (it is a Sockpuppet Mod after all) and bring your A game.

Please PM me if you are interested. You will receive full credit in the mod description if you choose to take this project on.

Thanks!

As new years wishes for everybody in this forum, I wish for CV1977, iDOM and Over9000verse to be released for TEW2016 so that the mod heaven is complete. (Oh, and Summer of Punk, too. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />)

 • 2 weeks later...

Lately, me and my friend were discussing about creating a fantasy mod. Problem is both of us can't do renders. So, What I wanted to ask is that will community be happy if we use re-renders/alts (not official ones of course) made for clverse with original blue background for this mod?

Of course, All the renderers would be mentioned in the credits if mod sees the light of the day. Just wanted to not let those amazing renders go to waste as they are not included in official pic pack.

1. Can I get a non-video guide of how to use DAZ or Photoshop to make cuts? Are there any templates that are useful? I just don't have the time to tend my job and family and college and learn complex software all on my own. I prefer to use photoshop but will use DAZ if I have to.

2. I want to make a mod featuring 5 promotions. A short mod designed to be plugged in to other mods or even CVerse. The idea is you will import the database into whatever you are using, and this will add some more content - I guess this is more of a DLC piece. My question is - if someone imports this, will the import bring in contracts? In 2013, I tried the same thing but when importing it did NOT import contracts so every time I wanted to plug it into something, I would have to sit there for 2 hours reworking all my contracts.

3. I have thought about starting in 2016 with a history dating back to 1950. If someone changes the start year to 1980, would they be able to play this age of the history? Assuming I have title lineages, etc. all set up. Or would I have to create a 1980 start to lock in the contracts? I am a bit new to making a mod that has the potential of multiple start dates.

4. Is there a way to change a promotion title to alliance title or alliance title to promotion title? I kinda want to have an alliance of several promotions in different territories that ruptures leaving the sole survivor to become its own promotion with no alliance. I am still a bit confused about how buying, selling and retiring titles works, let alone handling the alliance part. I will probably have the earlier start have promotions and alliance closed then in the later start, have the promotions and alliance closed except the survivor.

1. There's no quickguide for DAZ, and you can't use it for cuts. what you need is "GIMP", but photoshop is probably simpler. What I do is use the fuzzy select tool with the threshold on 50 or something (lrave it on composite or experiment). Then SELECT grow the selection with 1 px and delete. Before you do everything, you need to select LAYER / TRANSPARANCY to create an alpha channel though. If the background isn't constant, you want to select eraser tool and simply start eating at the background that needs to become transparant. That's it.

2. If you want to make it easy to import in all sorts of mods I suggest not making contracted workers. this "DLC" concept is nice. Scottie uses the same approach for WMMA with his "5-packs" that have a lot of success with players.

They paint it on their skin. As Daz tries to mimick reality, the renderer will have to do the same. On a virtual level, the equivalent of skin is textures. I just use the regular brush on it, others use more advanced techniques.
