Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone and Magnum T.A. welcome everyone to the show and talk about what happened at WrestleWar. Images come up from the various matches this past Sunday, in particular War Games that saw Steamboat's Squadron defeat The Four Horsemen. Inside the arena, the crowd stand on their feet as the current WCW World Heavyweight Champion Sting comes out from the back. Sting high fives the fans on his way down to the ring before sliding inside. He raises the belt and draws loud cheers from this crowd. He has a microphone in hand and says that last Sunday night he was in a war with a man who was deserving of a World title shot in Rick Rude. When you strip down the robe and the arrogant attitude, you have a great wrestler in this ring. But he listens to the wrong people. He lets the likes of Paul E. Dangerously get into his head. That is why he is not the World Heavyweight Champion. He made the mistake of trying to get into Sting's head and the night ended rather badly for him, so says Sting. But that doesn't mean that Sting is going to back away from him. Sting says he'll give Rude another match any time he wants one. The crowd cheers Steamboat as he high fives the fans in the front row on his way to the ring. He steps inside and offers a handshake to Sting. The handshake is immediately accepted and the two men embrace in a quick man-style hug before Steamboat asks for a microphone. Sting speaks before Steamboat can, saying that he's interrupting Sting's time out here tonight. Steamboat says that it's great to be here in Oklahoma City. He says that Sting is not the only person who walked out of WrestleWar with a victory. He says that he led his team to victory in War Games, the most brutal match in the history of WCW. But that's not why he's out here tonight. He says that he is out here because there is one reason why he returned to WCW. It wasn't to lead the team in War Games. It was to once again become the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. In order to do that, he has to have a match with the champion and what better place to have that match than right here in Oklahoma City on WCW Saturday Night? The crowd cheers. What a match this would be between two sure-fire (far) future hall-of-famers! Sting paces for a moment, thinking about the challenge laid out by The Dragon. Sting asks the little Stingers if they want to see him defend his title against The Dragon. The crowd responds in the affirmative. But before Sting can answer, Eric Bischoff walks out from the back. The Executive Vice President in charge of WCW walks to the ring and enters inside standing in between the two men. The winner of this match will move on to WCW SuperBrawl: Crossroads to defend the WCW World Heavyweight title against three other challengers in the Ultimate Sacrifice match. As Scott Steiner is making his entrance, Jim Ross informs everyone that his brother, Rick, was injured during War Games this past Sunday night so he will be out of WCW for a couple of months to recover. This puts Scott Steiner in singles action tonight against The Nature Boy Buddy Landel. Landel gets a brief advantage in the beginning of the contest but Steiner quickly turns it around when he no-sells knife-edge chops given to him by Landel. Steiner takes down Landel with a Steiner-Line. He picks him up and sends him to the ropes -- Steiner catches Landel around the waist -- Overhead Belly-To-Belly Suplex! The suplex sends Landel flying across the ring and the crowd is solidly behind Steiner as he continues his assault of The Nature Boy. Steiner picks up Landel and sends him to the ropes -- tilt-a-whirl slam brings Landel down hard to the mat. Steiner plays to the crowd for a moment and then picks up Landel once more. He climbs to the second turnbuckle and motions to the crowd, getting louder cheers. He drops down and asks for and is given a microphone. He begins by announcing to the fans here in the arena that his brother did not survive War Games last Sunday night without getting hurt. He says that Rick will be back in a couple of months and when he returns, The Steiner Brothers are going to go after the WCW World Tag Team titles. Until then, this leaves him on his own as a singles wrestler in WCW. With being a singles wrestler, he wants to put his name on the card at SuperBrawl: Crossroads. He says that he wants to be one of the men in the Ultimate Sacrifice match and get a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight title! He adds that he's going to be in the Crossroads match at SuperBrawl. But that Steiner isn't ready to be Ric Flair. He says that Steiner isn't ready to wear the custom made clothes, the 1000 dollar alligator shoes. So he needs to take a step down and maybe go after Lex Luger and the United States title. Steiner gets right up in the face of Flair. Steiner says that he doesn't want to be Ric Flair. Right now, he'd rather be Sting because Sting is the man. Sting is the man wearing the gold. Then he challenges Flair to put that spot on the line next week on WCW Saturday Night. Ric Flair versus Scott Steiner with the winner moving on to the Ultimate Sacrifice match. Flair responds that Steiner doesn't know what he's doing but he's going to find out next week when he walks that aisle. Flair accepts the challenge and tries a cheap shot knife-edge chop on Steiner but Steiner ignores it. He wraps Flair around the waist -- Overhead Belly-To-Belly Suplex! Kyle assaults Hart when the opening bell sounds with forearm shots around the head and neck. He picks up Hart and brings him over his knee with a backbreaker before pushing Hart to the mat and covering. Hart kicks out after a one count. Kyle stands up and bounces off the ropes. He goes for an elbow drop but Hart rolls out of the way. Hart begins using his speed to his advantage over the slower Kyle. He slips in behind Kyle and shows some strength as he brings the larger man over with a belly-to-back suplex. Kyle rolls out of the ring to create some separation but Hart doesn't back down. Instead, he bounces off the ropes and catches Kyle with a suicide dive through the ropes, knocking Kyle against the guardrail. Hart stands up and plays to the crowd before bringing the action back inside the ring. Hart waits for Kyle to get to his feet and then bounces off the ropes -- Spinning Heel Kick connects! He says that the interference was all his fault and that Rick Rude had nothing to do with it. He says that Rude should not be denied his opportunity because of a decision that he made. The microphone moves up to Rude and he begins by saying that he was half a count away from winning the World title at WrestleWar on numerous occasions. He said that he proved that after the match when he laid out the fake champion. He says that Sting offered him a rematch any time he wanted? Well, he wants one next week right here on WCW Saturday Night. Rhodes intervenes, telling Rude that he knows for a fact that the rematch won't occur next week. Koloff grunts in pain, trying to walk it off, shaking his arm to get some kind of feeling back into it. Koloff fires at Anderson with his left hand to get Anderson to back off. Koloff moves around the ring but Anderson gives chase. Anderson catches up with Koloff but the Russian Nightmare elevates Anderson with a back body drop into the first row! Koloff slides back in the ring and Anderson makes it back in with only a second to spare before he would have been counted out. Koloff takes a brief advantage but it's cut off when Anderson ducks a Russian Sickle and then brings Koloff down with the Double A Spinebuster! Double A picks up Koloff and backs him into a corner. Anderson throws a couple of punches and then tries to Irish whip Koloff across the ring but Koloff reverses, sending Anderson into the corner. Anderson bounces out and is brought up and over with a back body drop by Koloff! The Russian Nightmare is feeling it as he is getting his second wind. Koloff lifts Anderson and brings him down with a body slam before grabbing his right arm in pain. He shakes his head and then bounces off the ropes -- elbow drop with the left arm. Koloff makes a cover: One, Two, Kickout! Koloff lifts Anderson and goes for a bear hug but Anderson fights free before Koloff can lock his arms. Anderson throws a punch but Koloff ignores it, lifting Anderson in an airplane spin! As Koloff is spinning Anderson, one of Anderson's legs accidentally kicks the referee, knocking him out on the mat. Koloff sets down Anderson and then hits him with the Russian Sickle! Koloff makes a cover but there's no referee to make the count! Koloff looks frustrated as he surely would have gotten the three count there. Koloff stands up and moves to the referee, trying to revive the official. During this moment, Anderson rolls out of the ring and grabs a metal folding chair. The WCW World Heavyweight title is on the line in a one fall or thirty minute time limit match. Sting is defending the title against Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat. Both men make their entrances, getting about half of the crowd on one side and the other half on the other side. The two men shake hands before the sound of the bell. Senior referee Nick Patrick is the referee for this contest. He calls for the bell and it's time to begin this World Heavyweight title match. The opening minute of the bout is a feeling out period for both men as neither goes for any high impact/high risk moves. Neither man wants to be the first to make a mistake in this contest. The two men end up at a vertical base once again and Steamboat takes an advantage with two straight arm drags and then a dropkick to Sting! Sting stands back up but staggers back into a corner. Steamboat moves in and strikes Sting with a few chops in the corner before a hip toss sends Sting to the mat. Steamboat plays to the crowd for a moment before locking in an armbar. Steamboat holds Sting down on the mat with the armbar as the crowd watches on. Sting fights his way up from the armbar and brings Steamboat back to the ropes. Sting rolls out of the ring to catch a break for a moment. The WCW World Heavyweight Champion seems flustered by this onslaught by the challenger.
Rick Rude - Dustin just isn't there yet. Give him a few months for seasoning and he may be ready for Rick.

Rockin' Robin - Robin was pretty rockin' in 1991. That one piece, daaaamn.

Owen Hart - I'm assuming that Parka is on a short term type contract, coming in to make some people look good.

Arn and Tully - Easy pick up win for one of the greatest teams of all time.

Sullivan and Oz - Now you just need to sign a woman to make them a trio, who will play The Wicked Witch of New York.

Keith Hart - Either Hart gets the win here or else this is a match where some monster heel comes out and destroys both of them.

Ric Flair - I can't see Ric not being involved in the World title match there.

Eric's surprise is Ricky being placed into the US title match.

The opening moments of the bout begin with some back and forth between these two wrestlers, showing that Rhodes is able to keep up with Rude for the first minute of the contest. Rhodes brings Rude down with a hip toss and then he bounces off the ropes and is tripped by Paul E. Dangerously! Rude is up and quickly and goes right after The Natural. Rude plants Rhodes in the center of the ring with a backbreaker and makes a cover, scoring barely a two count before Rhodes kicks out. For the next several minutes, Rude continues his assault on Rhodes, focusing on the back and neck area of the second generation wrestler. Dangerously gets the attention of the referee and Rude throws Rhodes over the top rope to the floor, an automatic DQ if the referee had seen it happen. Rude exits the ring and throws several punches to Rhodes before Irish whipping him into the guardrail. Rude walks over and grabs Rhodes, tossing him back into the ring. Rude joins Rhodes in the ring and gives him an Irish whip into the corner. Rude stands there and swivels his hips. Then he rushes toward Rhodes and Rhodes gets a boot up! Rude staggers backward and Rhodes rushes in, catching Rude with a bionic elbow! Rhodes plays to the crowd and picks up Rude. He sends Rude to the ropes and catches him with a spinning side slam! He makes a cover, scoring a two count. Rhodes signals for the Bulldog, picking up Rude and moving back in the corner. Flair backs Steiner to the ropes and then sends him across to the other side. Steiner brings down Flair with a shoulderblock. He bounces off the ropes and leaps over Flair and then ducks a clothesline before coming back with a Steiner-Line! The crowd cheers as Flair pops back up to his feet and takes a second Steiner-Line in a row! Flair pops up a second time and rushes Steiner but Steiner catches him around the waist -- Overhead Belly-To-Belly Suplex! Flair rolls out of the ring to stop the momentum, pacing and asking for a timeout but there's no timeouts in professional wrestling! Flair gets back in the ring before the ten count and locks up with Steiner again. Steiner backs Flair toward the corner but Flair turns things at the last moment, leaning into Steiner in the corner. Flair slowly begins to pull back and then laces Steiner's chest with a knife-edge chop! A second one! A third one has Steiner staggering out of the corner. Flair drops down and clips the back of the knee of Scott Steiner. The Nature Boy focuses his attention on the left knee of Steiner with a few stomps and then he drags Steiner over into the corner. He exits the ring and brings Steiner to the corner, blasting his knee against the ring post! The crowd boos as Flair struts outside the ring. Flair re-enters the ring and continues his assault on Steiner. As we near the ten minute mark in the match, Flair goes for the Figure Four Leglock but Steiner turns it into a small package:]

[....1....

....2....

..Kickout!]

[With ten minutes gone, Ric Flair continues his assault on the left knee of Scott Steiner. Flair places the knee over the bottom rope and then leaps, coming down with a seated senton on that knee. Steiner grabs the knee, calling out in pain. Flair picks up Steiner and drops him in the center of the ring with a shinbreaker. Flair bounces off the ropes -- Running Jumping Knee Drop! Flair makes a cover: One, Two, Kickout! Flair argues with the referee, saying that it should have been a three count but it was only two. Flair turns his attention back to Steiner and locks him in a rear chinlock. The crowd begins clapping and stomping their feet to get behind Steiner. Steiner gets a second wind from the crowd and begins working his way to his feet. He catches Flair with two elbow shots to the gut and then brings him over in a belly-to-back suplex! Both men lie on the mat as the referee begins the ten count. Both men make their feet before the count of ten and Steiner throws several punches, staggering Flair back into the corner. Steiner Irish whips Flair to the other side and Flair flips up and over the turnbuckle, landing on the apron. Flair rushes across and gets to the top turnbuckle where he is met by Steiner. Steiner grabs Flair as Flair cries out 'NOOOOOO!' Steiner sends Flair to the mat with a slam and then grabs the knee, in obvious pain. JR questions whether or not Steiner can even do the Frankensteiner with that hurt knee. Steiner catches Flair with a Steiner-Line as Flair gets back up. He picks up Flair and sends him to the ropes -- Tilt-A-Whirl Slam! Steiner makes a cover but only gets a two count. He hooks Flair in an underhook position -- Double Underhook Power Bomb! Steiner presses Flair's shoulders on the mat: One, Two, Kickout! So close to a big win by Scott Steiner! Steiner calls for the Frankensteiner, yanking Flair to his feet. He sends Flair to the ropes but Flair holds on to the top rope, stopping the momentum. Steiner walks toward Flair and Flair moves in, shoving Steiner! Steiner collides with the referee, sending referee Tommy Young to the mat. Flair motions toward the back and here comes Barry Windham of the Horsemen! Windham enters the ring, adjusting the black glove on his right hand. He waits for Steiner to get to his feet -- Loaded Punch! The punch sends Steiner crashing to the mat. Steiner looks like he might be out! Windham helps Flair to his feet and then exits the ring, shaking the referee. Flair smiles and struts before locking Scott Steiner in the Figure Four Leglock! After about thirty seconds, the referee checks Steiner and then calls for the bell. Steamboat high fives the fans in the front row on his way down to the ring. He rolls inside the ring and then climbs to the second turnbuckle, playing to the crowd, getting loud cheers from this audience in Greensboro. Steamboat asks for and is given a microphone. He begins by thanking Sting for giving him a World title match last week on WCW Saturday Night. He says that he gave it everything that he had in that match but it just wasn't enough. He says that Sting is truly a worthy World Heavyweight Champion. But now he is turning his attention to tonight. The fans give a decent reaction as WCW Executive Vice President Eric Bischoff walks down to the ring and steps inside. Bischoff shakes hands with Steamboat and tells the fans to give it up for The Dragon. He says that the match last week against Sting was one of the highest rated matches in WCW history. He says he wants to keep that going because he loves each and every one of you. He says that his surprise for Ricky Steamboat is that Steamboat is going to be involved in a Best-Of-Seven match series during the coming weeks here on our WCW programming. He says that the winner of this series will be granted a future WCW World Heavyweight title shot. He says that Steamboat has earned this match series but that he wanted to choose an opponent that can equal what Steamboat produces in the ring. He says that Steamboat's opponent in this series is here tonight so without further ado, here is Ricky Steamboat's opponent. 'Pomp And Circumstances' begins to play and the crowd stands on their feet. Shock echoes through the announcers and the fans as the music plays. Could it be? Is it possible that he has come to WCW?]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_1991/RandySavage.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_1991/MissElizabeth.jpg

[The crowd goes wild as 'The Macho Man' Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth walk out from the back. The last time that Savage was seen, he was up in that promotion up north, along with Sensational Queen Sherri. Now he is back with Miss Elizabeth! Savage and Elizabeth get to the ring and Savage holds the ropes open for his wife. Elizabeth climbs in the ring and Savage steps in after her, looking across toward Ricky Steamboat. Even Steamboat is in shock right now. The Macho Man gives a smile and asks for a microphone. He receives the microphone and looks across toward Steamboat, telling him to freak out, freak out, freak out because The Macho Man is officially in World Championship Wrestling, dig it? Savage says that the reason he came to WCW was twofold. The first reason is that he gets to step inside the ring once again with this man that's in the ring with him, Ricky Steamboat. The second reason is to become the very best in the business and that means becoming the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Ohhhhh yeah, dig it? But, Savage says, he is not going to take the low road to do this. He says that he plans to prove that he is the best wrestler inside the ring and out. The Macho Man offers a handshake to Ricky Steamboat. Steamboat hesitates but gets some encouragement from Miss Elizabeth. Steamboat says that this is not what he expected tonight. But if Savage means what he says then the two of them can light up the ring in the best of seven series. Steamboat takes the hand of Savage. The handshake is cordial and then released as 'Pomp And Circumstances' begins to play again. Savage plays to the crowd, lifting Miss Elizabeth on his shoulder. Savage and Steamboat play to the crowd together as WCW Saturday Night comes to a close. What a huge development! Hey horseman4lyfe! Thanks for the predictions and comments. Glad that you're enjoying the return of Chuck O'Connor aka Big John Studd. He is definitely someone that can help build some of my younger wrestlers and give some of the veterans a run for their money. As far as The Great Muta returning to WCW? All I can say is wait and see and I just might make you happy at one point. Will it be this week on WCW Saturday Night? Tune in and find out. ;)

My own Beagle is currently bombing up and down my lounge with her Kong toy.

Hey Nobby_McDonald. Those Kong toys are lies! They were not indestructible to my boxer. LOL. So does the Beagle make predictions? :D

Comments: Flair doesn´t lose much and certainly not here.

10 Minute Time Limit Match

Barry Windham vs. Wahoo McDaniel

Comments: Could go either way I think, but when I doubt I go with Horseman.

WCW World Television Title Match

10 Minute Time Limit Match

Owen Hart defends vs. ???

Comments: Owen will likely hold the belt for at least a bit longer.

10 Minute Time Limit Match

Bull Nakano and Debbie Combs vs. Team America (Misty Blue and Heidi Lee Morgan)

Comments: No idea here so just going with the named team.

TV Time Remaining Match

The Dangerous Alliance (Rick Rude, Larry Zbyszko and Bobby Eaton) vs. Brian Pillman, Sting and Lex Luger

Comments: Face side feels slighly stronger to me but this could also be a good spot to give Rude one over Sting plus there is always a a chance that one of Luger´s opponent´s will interfere and take him out from this match... I´m actually going to go with Dangerous Alliance on here but this is a close one.

He calls out Kevin and from the back comes Kevin Von Erich. Von Erich enters the ring and goes nose-to-nose with Hayes for a moment before backing off and motioning to Hayes to continue. Hayes announces that their match at SuperBrawl: Crossroads will be a Badstreet Strap Match! He says that he will explain about that. It will be a traditional strap match where the winner has to touch all four corners to be victorious. The difference comes in the fact that there will be lumberjacks surrounding the ring. The lumberjacks will be hand-picked by Hayes and Von Erich. Von Erich agrees to the stipulation and the two begin a fight that ends when Hayes kicks Von Erich between the legs. He drops Von Erich with the Freebird DDT before rolling out of the ring. He reaches underneath the ring and pulls out a leather strap! Thanks for the predictions and comments. I can definitely agree that the main event is a close one between the two teams. Without giving anything away, I think most people would agree that the two weak links in the bout would be Bobby Eaton for the Dangerous Alliance and Brian Pillman for the team of Pillman, Sting and Luger. It could come down to which of these two perform better. Maybe. <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
