Dave E Mac
Just quirky ways you play the game or things you always do you think no one else does. I’ll start I offer contracts with no added perks at all. If someone wants creative control or whatever it’s a no. If they don’t want to work B shows then I’d rather give them more cash to do what ever I want. Also I’m 34 years of age, but when I’m on the toilet I’ll carry out pretend interviews in my head as my user character. Sad I know!
soxfan93
I've been playing as smaller companies recently and have toyed with paying significantly higher downsides (2.5x the monthly written estimate) in exchange for loyalty, as a way of mimicking the modern "exclusive but work elsewhere" contracts ROH and MLW use. JamHead
Also I’m 34 years of age, but when I’m on the toilet I’ll carry out pretend interviews in my head as my user character. Sad I know! If it makes you feel better I can only go to sleep by running my current storylines through my head and it helps to book at least one show before bedtime. The Lloyd
Also I’m 34 years of age, but when I’m on the toilet I’ll carry out pretend interviews in my head as my user character. Sad I know! Hahahaha!! Well this got me!! You should really consider renaming this thread after that gem!! Things I do playing TEW that I think no one else does... Well, I'm pretty sure other people do this, but for me, it's Spreadsheet City!! Especially when I book a diary!! I need to know who my Main Eventers are, and their popularity, and my tag teams. My Champions. Storylines. Everything. It's ALL information that's available within the game, but for some reason, I make a spreadsheet to track it
Tom Bombadil
I use autopush almost religiously- I'll boost one or two guys at a time to Lower Midcarder and lock in staff where I want them, but otherwise the autopush's word is law, and I will almost never have an "upset" where a guy beats somebody higher up the card. So I could get an idea who’d get the job done in the ring. In the end it took over a bit too much. Koholos
<p>I play big companies as angel investors. As long as I have at least 10 million in the bank (you never know when there might be an emergency), and am making a profit, I start spending hundreds of thousands a year opening dojos and smaller promotions. </p><p> </p><p> I’ll also try to write a few of my Midcard & up guys out to work the lower promotions as “trainers” (sometimes actually as trainers, sometimes just working.)</p><p> </p><p> Especially older guys who start having serious time decline (RDJ being a great example), I have a big “farewell” show and then let them spend their last 6 months raising the future.</p>

Adding in each wrestlers rating in a match meant it took ages to run just one show. But I might have some different versions of it. It was quite a delicate sheet as there was so many different formulas and formatting that any changes or bits I added tended to throw it off! Yes I am quite sad and enjoy mucking about in excel a fair amount!!</p><p> One thing was I applied for a job that required good excel skills so used it as a chance to brush up on my excel skills. I got the job but the tew spreadsheet was about a billion times more advanced than I ever did in that job!!</p>
Dave E Mac
When I start a game I tend to butcher the roster and fire anyone I don’t like it have no interest in pushing. Then I sign guys on 3 month jobber contract. Essentially they must have decent in ring skills and will pretty much make up my lower card guys and below and exclusively there to lose to people. Three months tends to be the sweet spot that they won’t get really unhappy and ask to leave if they are getting beaten a couple of times a week! HarryFandango86
Those guys that said they need to have their storylines going on in their head to help them fall asleep, I am with them on this. TEW allows for the ultimate way to disconnect from the real world for a while and allow some creative juices to flow, so if it makes sense in my head then it’s fine. It’s like a rule for myself that things have gotta make sense to me and I do also usually book some shows before bed and fall asleep imaging it all playing out. That’s why I love this game. Who says you need 3D graphics when you got an imagination, huh. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I think the only true benefit is the fact they won't sign a written deal with somebody else, which is the entire point of these contracts nowadays. Of course, the loyalty would be removed before his negotiating period so that he could potentially leave. If I pay more than they're worth, it doesn't feel like cheating, and it simulates modern contracts quite well.</p>
