What do you do playing TEW that you think no one else does?

Freestyle angles feel like a cheat (just use each worker's best stat, give all a victory in the angle... it just isn't how it works. Some people have to lose momentum to gain it back) because they're so OP. I also never touch the editor. Feel like that could make for a fun few weeks of TV and if you're going to get a world title match on a huge show I feel like you should have to really earn your spot, and there should be no questions as to why someone got in over someone else. With that much at stake the process should be clear as possible in my opinion. That being said, I am more than willing to have people be removed my injury and such to shake predictability every now and again, but for the most part I like to have all the cards on the table</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm like this. Just booked a tournament for my vacant TV Championship that ate up pretty much all of my TV time (appropriately) for like two months, just because I wanted everyone to have a shot at winning it!</p>

At the beginning of each save, I go through and shortlist everyone I have an interest in. Not just people I like, or want to sign, but people I kind of want to follow the careers of. It's exhausting.

I also never, under any circumstances, give creative control in contracts.

For those that imagine being their player character or imagine their in-game storylines while trying to fall asleep: I fall asleep imagining my character is retired and giving shoot interviews about the companies history.

I don't think this is necessarily totally unique. But I create matches just so they will show up in the show history.

Started doing it when running tournaments. Nothing fancy- just a clone of a 1v1 match, but with "name" value and something like "Tournament" added to the name. So it shows in the show history as having been a Tournament match. Makes it much easier to track. Then I started doing it with puro companies that have Super Juniors, to differentiate those matches. I find that really helpful to make sure that the juniors are getting adequate matches on every card and not simply getting forgotten and lumped into multi-tags with the heavyweights

<p>I don't do this anymore but:</p><p> </p><p>

Change the name of each match from "person a vs person b" to "person a d. person b" and of course the left wrestler always wins.</p><p> </p><p>

This way I can look back at past events and know who won. Eventually I figured out it was redundant since I was always giving the win to the left side so changing the text was just extra work.</p>

Ever since that guy a long time ago started an unfinished Tag Team League dynasty I've wanted to do one and have sandboxed around with tag-team only feds in various TEW versions. Usually all of the 100 experience teams and then a few favorites and a then just a couple of just randomly teamed up singles guys.

Might start doing this!</p><p> </p><p> Another thing I do is incessant chemistry testing. I have a spreadsheet set up to track all chemistry of all three types (vs, tag, manager), and if I'm at the written contracts point, my house shows are constantly fully booked with new combinations. If not, my pre-show and post-show are just full of random combinations of people not being used on the main show!</p>

<p>I have modified the default database heavily.</p><p> </p><p>

People will post a lot of re-renders, or a young renders of an older worker. I used these to create a lot of 2nd, or 3rd generation talent. The next generation of DeColts, Stones, Cornells, etc are all available to debut in my database.</p>

Whenever someone from a wrestling family has a baby I like to add that child to the database, with them debuting at 18 years old. Right now the only ones I can remember adding are Tracy Brendon and Joshua Taylor's daughter and Cameron Vessey and Jamie Quinne's daughter. There might be more but I can't remember them right now</p>

<p>Make 2 hour shows 90 minutes to simulate TV. The shows are 95 minutes long, a little less than an old Raw with an overrun. When I booked WCW 95 I turned off show times so I could book 45 minute shows too.</p><p> </p><p>

I've always thought the game's simulation of the live experience, instead of TV, is pretty dumb.</p>

<p>- max money for my company CZCW</p><p>

- I run about 37 events a year that are 4 hours each</p><p>

- Weeky A level 3 hour tv show as well as a B one that's 2 hours</p><p>

- My roster has ran from 60-90 wrestlers</p><p>

- I use a puro style</p><p>

- I'm at cult status and refuse to sign anyone to a wittten deal</p><p>

- Created own broadcaster. Each area I'm at a medium</p><p>

- 60 % singles matches, 10 % tag, 3v3, 3 way and 4 way</p><p>

- I sign not just American talent but talent all across the world</p><p>

- while I have a lot of top in ring talent, I also like signing rookies and other inexperienced wrestlers</p><p>

- I love when my top talent gets poached from all the other major companies </p><p>

- It allows all my mid card to enhancement talent guys to move up plus booking them a lot on the B shows and pre shows increases their in ring ability a lot</p><p>

- I have working agreements with a lot of regional companies as well as increasing the COTT alliance. </p><p>

- SWF, TCW, USPW, NOTBPW, SOTBPRW, PGHW and BHOTG constantly raid me and I take their guys who they refuse to resign as long as they have respectable stamina or they're an over the hill legend to give ny young guys a rub</p><p>

- I made Christian Faith an active wrestler again. Got his matches so good he got poached by USPW and is killing it there!</p><p>

- I bought out GSW and observed their roster. After a couple shows I released most of them.</p><p>

- I made Brother Grimm an active wrestler just to destroy him.</p><p>

- I signed him to a written 10 year prior just so he can't walk out when I enrage him.</p><p>

- I believe I'm in the spring of 2019</p><p> </p><p>

I'm sure I have more but that's what I remember off my head</p>

<p>Basically ever since 2016 came out I've never really played the previous ones for any other reason but to look back on past games' title and match histories all nostalgically. Other than that, I keep them on my computer for one very rare occurrence that's somehow come up a few times with me; converting a mod from '08, then to '10, then '13 and finally to '16.</p><p> </p><p>

I mean if you want a mod from way back when on a recent game what else are you gonna do? It's not that weird I guess but it's one of those things I feel kinda silly doing. Especially because I genuinely only redownloaded the '10 demo purely for this purpose, I didn't even have that one until I needed to do this... <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
