The official what are you doing while you wait for the 2020 Demo thread

Recommended Posts

I am currently using Microsoft Excel to create my WWE 2020 roster/brands. In my scenario, instead of going the route it went in reality.. WWE's response to COVID-19 is to pause everything and cancel all future events, including Wrestlemania. During this time, Vince sells the company and I buy it. My scenario will fast forward to May 1st and we are set for a relaunch. We move forward with Wrestlemania's planned card (with a few switch ups).. a few Superstars depart the company and a lot of NXT Superstars will have their time to shine on the main roster. In addition, I'm also doing my own images for the game.. mainly because being quarantined to my house has me needing to have a project to complete or else I'll go crazy.

Wait for the pagan religions that will appear in CK3. (I want to know which pagan religion will be most nearest Italy since Hellenism is declared a dead religion in-game).

Practice for my drum sessions that soon will be retaken once this Covid-19 things comes to an end here in Chile. (Or at least is something controlled.)

Keep on roleplaying in other forums.

Listen to Kiss and Metallica (Their concerts here were rescheduled to the last trimester in the year).

Prepare for the national plebiscite for a new constitution.

Plan to attempt to push several Mexican luchadores in WCW in 1995, and wait till TEW2020 comes out.

The year is 1980. During a feverish night Kevin Von Erich has a vision of the future to come. What he sees disturbs him, terrifies him. The wrestling world being shocked by the deaths of those he cares most about, and those who's stars have only started to shine. Suicides, murders, assassinations. Mental and physical health fluttering like a candle in the wind.

With these images pressed into his head, Kevin takes matters into his own hands. He leaves the WCCW, forms Sanctuary Wrestling, and begins his mission to alter the timeline of the future to come. He hires Gino Hernandez, Dino Bravo, Bruiser Brody, his brothers, and countless others in a hope to forge a new path where no one dies before their prime.

At least, that is the goal...

This is a really cool concept

Just finished AC: Odyssey today, so now playing my most current TEW16 game (A 1994 WCW game where I am playing as Gabe Sapolsky taking over WCW, slowly pushing up the new generation of talent while keeping Hogan out of the title picture.) Going to go back to Origins to finish that one and also have Death Stranding.

<p>Well I have tried to play TEW2016, but my brain tells me not to get invested into a game with the new one a few weeks out.</p><p> </p><p>

But until 2020 drops, I am currently finishing Doom Eternal, and with Final Fantasy 7 Remake coming out tomorrow, I will have plenty to keep me occupied until 2020 consumes all of my free time.</p>

Creating an access database to help book stories for characters for the company im going to be using. Allows me to write out stories ahead of time thus just plugging and playing the wrestlers and making adjustments per contract signings/injuries/ect. First time im going to take the booking part of this game seriously with a side database to track.

The best relation to TEW 2020 if you want a feel for it seems to be WMMA 5.

Well before the announcement, I was doing an edit of pushing The Golden Age (or the Superfly Effect) mod from 1987 to 1990, and planned to work a story where instead of Ted Turner bankrolling WCW, it was Donald Trump. Most of it was set up, and I was just putting finishing touches on it... but now I don't wanna get invested if 2020 is coming soon lol

I've been playing a lot of NASCAR Thunder 2004 on my old PS2 recently. After all those years I have somehow discovered my love for this game again <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Been watching some WWE Network. I'm trying to watch all the Raws from 1993 in order with the PPVs. I'm at about King of the Ring 1993

I'm doing the same thing, except with Raws from the one after WM14 on. I started watching wrestling right before Summerslam that year, so I'm looking forward to seeing what I missed and also seeing if that era of Raw lives up to how much I loved it at the time. I'm skipping the PPVs though, since I've already watched almost all of them multiple times on tape when I was a kid.

That Raw after Mania 14 is actually pretty historic. HHH and The Rock became the leaders of their respective groups. X-Pac returns to the company. Pretty good show. I might just watch it again for the heck of it lol

I know. I was shocked at how many clips I've seen over the years in hype videos and documentaries came from that one show alone.

My aunt gave me her login for the WWE Network, so have been watching a ton of that lately. Watching old WCCW inspired me to run CGC as a similar style promotion, and have been on a tear with that game lately. I temporarily played as USPW and SWF to sign away a few guys, and have been challenging myself not to overhaul the roster completely. This week I've booked three months, which is a lot more than I usually do in the same time frame.

Playing TEW 2016 and Fire Pro World.

Fire Pro and TEW really marry well. Run the promotion in TEW, run the matches in Fire Pro, and reproduce the results of the matches simmed in Fire Pro in TEW. Makes wrestling legit in some way, since you don't control the result of the matches in FPW, you have to deal with the consequences of an unexpected result in your future booking.

That's pretty cool. I do the same with 2k19, but I don't Sim. I just play the matches. Maybe I'll run it like a shoot this year with FPW.
