TheElTaco
I really hope he comes back because his serious gimmick is lame.

DeathZone2
No, his serious gimmick is awesome. SWF needs more shooters.
Shianne_EB
Nah, the gimmick and things that came with it ran its course. It's good for Morrisette to establish himself as a major star while he sees out the rest of his in-ring career.

cappyboy
He's soooooo old now though. Love lobster, hope there's a lobster jr Right. Maybe he could sell the gimmick to someone who needs it a la Del Wilkes selling Tom Brandi the star spangled identity of The Patriot. There's already one established case of it in the C-Verse with Harrison Hash selling off the Panda Mask gimmick.

shamelessposer
It warms my heart to see that the first new thread in the 2020 subforum is about Lobster Warrior.
cappyboy
It warms my heart to see that the first new thread in the 2020 subforum is about Lobster Warrior. We are a quirky bunch no doubt about that. Somewhere in his fictional world Richard Eisen has heard about this wish for Lobster Warrior back and smiled.

AlaskanHero
Considering he's probably a bit older, I wouldn't be surprised if he went back to the gimmick for one last nostalgia run before retirement. I like the serious, shooter gimmick though, so I'm good either way.
shawn michaels
I always hoped for major success for the guy. If he could have become recipient of a yes movement type of thing with his old gimmick and became a successful guy with multiple world title runs, i think it would be a great way to not just bring it back, but take the gimmick to posterity eventually, if he one days passes it to a family member or sells it. I liked the serious stuff, but I wouldn't mind him returning to that gimmick if it was a success story. It's always good to see some of the veterans, a lot of of those being some of our favorite guys, getting a break.
Eisen-verse
*Pokes his heads in* I've never been all that interested in The Crippler. I'd rather see someone new fill that violent shooter personality (someone who's young and new to the SWF, that is). I'd love to see 'One Last Hurrah' with Lobster Warrior returning to the mask. In a way, it's the same feeling we had when Hulk Hogan was an active wrestler in the early 2000's in the WWE/F. You knew it wasn't going to last forever but, for the time being, you could buy into one last push for the gimmicky masked man. *Slides back into the brush*
BrokenCycle
Adam recently messaged me saying that Lobster Warrior did return, but he tragically died of drowning in a stunt gone wrong at Master of Puppets 2019. Eisen told him he would never do any stunt in wrestling that he wouldn't attempt himself, and he lied. The Morrisettes are suing the company for millions and the trial is still ongoing. LoganRodzen
He was pushing his age in 2016, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him bring the gimmick back in 2020 as a farewell tour of sorts.
