Thunderverse Discussion Thread

Recommended Posts

One of my biggest peeves with the original Thunderverse was that the world was very static with obvious unrealistically slotted orgs into 3 obvious groups. Small, Regional, and Cult with few deviations. And from a gameplay perspective, this was a neat idea, but it also meant that each company was a little too by the numbers beyond the gimmicks/RW comparisons. If this is improved and nothing else it will be a huge success for me.

This game world is extremely fluid and realistic

The Kinjo era is over.. [June 2021]

April: Junior Tag Mountain Climb

- 8 Teams, 3 days tournament

- Final four have been Cody & Matsuo, Jin Fujiwara & SHOGUN, Nakada & Yamada and the big player's team of Kozue & Furosuto.

- Kozue and Furosuto defeated Cameron Cody & Junichi Matsuo to win the first ever Junior Tag Mountain Cup!

May: Emperor's Festival

- Waotaka Eda & Torture retained the tag titles against PunkRockCity

- Nakada & Yamada defended their Jr. tag titles against Furosuto and Kozue when the latter two had their issues.

- Juro Deguchi got another title defense under his belt after a victory over the brit Scott Nicholls. Deguchi is in time decline unfortunately..

First Voyage In Osaka

- Waotaka & Eda with another defense against Yamahara this time. Former champions Atonga & Taheiji Ebisawa issued a challenger after the match.

- Kozue with V3 when he defeated tag champion Haruko Yamada. To the surprise of no one Furosuto made a challenge for Procession of Champions.

- Juro Deguchi defeated Erik van Rijn in the best Intercontinental championship match so far with a rating of 77. Katsuhiko Ishii made a challenge.

- The God Emperor Kintaro Kinjo retained his World Championship over veteran Hyotaru Ichigawa

- Just moments before Oda Yamawaki surprised most fans after he continued to attack the team of Hall Of The United Throne (Captain UPJ & Takanori Sakurai) just after Daijiro Otsuka turned on them. Oda's partners Jayden Cole and Ieyoshi Kurmochi joined Yamawaki. The latter announced the formation of the Sengoku Murders!

June: Procession of Champions

- Nakada & Yamada made another defense when they defeated the team of Jin Fujiwara and SHOGUN.

- Waotaka Eda & Torture retains over the team of Atonga and Taheiji Ebisawa

- Kozue and Furosuto had a real war in 22 minutes where the champ defended his belt once more.

- Katsuhiko Ishii from the Kinjo-jidai won the UPJ Intercontinental championship from Juro Deguchi in a great fight. Deguchi's long time friend TOKI INK turned on him (and joined Yamawaki after the main event) With Ishii being a champion the Kinjo-jidai have all the belts...

- ...or not. Oda Yamawaki defeated Kintaro Kinjo after 33 minutes to win the UPJ World Heavyweight title for the third time in his career.

Our journey continues with the Junior Mountain Climb tournament, a summer event in Yokohama and two tournaments in a row with the newly created King of Japan Cup followed by the tag team tournament Blue Rhino Cup.

Faction overview after Procession Of Champions

Hall of The United Throne

HW: Hyotaru Ichigawa, Captain UPJ, Honour Katsumoto, Otojiro Ikina, Strength Ogawa, Takanori Sakurai

JR: Ryotaro Naruto, Jin Fujiwara, SHOGUN

- Had a cool discussion on the GDS discord regarding the United Throne stable and I think they won't make the next year. I know their the elite of the Home Army, but I don't have a personal connection to them that much. For sure the Home Army will continue unaffiliated..

HardRockCity

HW: Juro Deguchi, Amando Ocampo, Apolinario, Danger Asahara, Nobuhisa Yasutake

JR: Cameron Cody, Hidetsugu Genji, Jin Haryko, Joao Iwahara, Junichi Matsuo

Ignite Muscle Army

HW: Kato, Erik van Rijn, Atonga, Bishop, Bruiser Cassidy, Taheiji Ebisawa, Takehide Harada

Kinjo-jidai

HW: Kintaro Kinjo, Katsuhiko Ishii, Torture, Waotaka Eda, Mr Yamashita

JR: Dustin LeFever, KAMIKAZE, Shinji Uchikawa, Akito Nakada, Haruko Yamada

http://puroresu.de/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Stable_SengokuMurders.jpg

Sengoku Murders

HW: Oda Yamawaki, Daijiro Otsuka, TOKI INK, Ieyoshi Kurmochi, Jayden Cole

JR: Fumihiko Osaragi, Trent Brooke

- In canon it doesn't make sense that Oda created a new faction, I know. But I felt like it would be cool to have him with a heelish group once again.

Hontai/Home Army

HW: Alvaro Buey III, Des Miller, Fergus Storm, Furosuto, Go Takaashi, Gonshiro Anzai, Koji Yamada, Koma Koniashi, Lobo, Magnús Steinsson, Nick Bell, Paul Crowley, Scott Nicholls, Sean Girven, Shiki Hirasi, Ukon Kajahara, Yuto Shiba

My AWF game is going really interesting so far. I assume everyone is busy playing but I have had a blast. So many people wanting to put over Aaron Price, who I was happy to just leave at an upper midcard level but he now might be in line for a push I was planning on giving to Daryl Lance. I rehired Giroux to come in and put over some guys, try and use his overness. I had him lose to Lance at the Feb PPV and Lance didn't get a single point of overness at all. I did use the protect note on Giroux but other than that theres no reason he shouldn't have got at least a few points of pop. Either way, I am thinking of pivoting to Price and have him as my eventual number 2 face behind Derrick Romeo.

Hows everyone else's games going? Any interesting developments/observations?

Hows your AWF save going now? Aaron Price has been a pleasant surprise for me too. What have you done with the title? I've gone with Huntley as the Heel champ and started a new feud with Sharif as the next big thing. Turned Romeo heel and considering working Aaron Price up to feud with him...

I'm only 3 shows into my save with AWF working towards the first PPV but your workers must know something mine don't because I wouldn't look at Price and have 'superstar' scream out at me. Great worker but would never have considered him for a monster push the way you could be lining up for him. If people start coming forward with those offers for Eddy Lemaitre or Sharif Awar in my save well now we're talking. Out of curiosity, I'm guessing Samoa Afasa is Leati Iaukea?

My first signings were Caleb Adonis & Lenny Rhodes being teamed as heels known as The Fabulous Duo with Adrienne returning to manage them. I've also snapped up Prophecy out of retirement who'll come and work a program with Core. Given it's 70/30 pop/in-ring there shouldn't be too much dinging for the vet given his stats are still excellent despite his age.

What're your plans for Lamaitre? He's great with a mic for me now, has the potential to be great in the ring but cant seem to find the right feud for him to get good results, I'm unsure of how best to go about furthering his development without hurting the rest of the card.

I'm currently 3 weeks away from Wrestlefest. Booking TV and trying not to do any big matches but also don't want to cheat the fans out of their money haha. Price is developing nicely, but he's not exactly setting the world alight yet so I'm doing a slow burn for him. He beat Core at the last PPV (Core is leaving as I can't re-sign him without breaking an owner goal) and is currently sitting at 62 overness in most of the US. I took the belt off Core in February and put it on Romeo but he kinda didn't really do it ratings wise at the top of the card, and in my head Romeo is now the guy who's better chasing the title than holding it. Huntley beat him in May for the title, and my big main event for wrestler's is Hawk Vs Romeo Vs Huntley for the World Title.

I did give Awar a World Title match at the last PPV as I did Hawk Vs Romeo in a number 1 contender match which ended in a spectacular draw. Awar is still not over enough but he did well and has a massive future. I need his star quality to eventually beat PWI and he's pulling in ratings way above his pop. His Wrestlefest match is against Giroux in a culmination of a 6 month feud.

Projected Wrestlefest card:

Timothy Hawk Vs Derrick Romeo Vs Jonah Huntley ©

Sharif Awar Vs Jean-Claude Giroux

Aaron Price vs The Fyre

Daryl Lance Vs Wilson Hancock

Tyshawn Martial Vs Ebi Kavidar © for US title

And more, TBD.

What month are you at currently? What are your big plans for Wrestlefest?

I'm fairly new to TEW and very new to Thunderverse, so this first playthrough for me has been a sort of learning experience to get a feel for the company and workers in it etc, I might restart now I've got a bit more of an idea about what's going on (I still say that fairly loosely lol).

I know what you mean about booking TV, I think it's hard with the 70:30 pop vs perf of the product isnt it. What does your typical TV card look like? It's difficult to get a good show together without just having all of the top guys face each other every week which then it turn renders the PPV cards less meaningful doesnt it? Though that could just be my novice booking, the pacing of storylines is something I really want to learn more about but am struggling to find good resources and there arent many playthroughs for the Tverse.

I saw that Core's contract is up, i'm not sure what to do with him his pop is still 70-77 in the US for me and I brought in Krhome whom he is constantly helping with Psychology and other things so that relationship may be useful to keep around.

I think I will turn Romeo heel and see what his chemistry is like with Hawk when he returns and maybe have a 'face of the franchise' feud for a few months.

I'd wanted to do something more with the tag division so brought in The Bollywood Knights and The Wolverines but I think that was when I was still focusing a bit too much on who can perform in the ring and not on their pop, though the BK are like in the early 50's in the US from their time in PWI so there may be a future for them. What's the state of your tag division?

How many actual storylines do you have going at once? How long do you tend to run them for or does it vary?

I've just had Feb's PPV and my forward planning is a bit all over the place atm whilst im learning, so nothing set in stone for WF yet. Your card looks great though, I've had some excellent performances from The Fyre and Ebi always gets recommended to me as a mic guy by the other workers. Might take a look at Tyshawn Martial, also been at a bit of a loss with Daryl Lance too as he's got poor chemistry with 3 people i've tried him out with, shame cos he's a good worker.

Sorry I saw your response but haven't had chance to sit down at my PC with my game up to give a good reply. Hope you're having fun with the game so far, I find it to be thoroughly enjoyable, but also something i can come back to after not playing for months and still enjoy a lot.

There is a few different ways to do TV cards. Generally if you focus on the main event and the main angle, everything else can fall into place. I tend to do something WWE does a lot and book multi man matches somewhat often. Combining two rivalries (for example I could run Sharif Awar teaming with Derrick Romeo to take on Jean-Claude Giroux and Jonah Huntley) and making that the main focus of the night is an easy way to pull ratings, it generally gets everyone's overness up and it protects who you want to push (I can get Awar to take the pin via distraction; his overness is 62 and Huntley's is 80 so he's not hurt by that loss at all, and Romeo is protected by it too). I guess the main issue with that is it can become a bit lazy or formulaic booking, so i tend to do something like that once or twice a month. Another thing i do for main events is think of future feuds i'd want to do (Awar Vs Huntley for the AWF title one day) and then I book it as a main event for a TV, just to see how it goes, tests chemistry, gives some history for any future feud, can tie in current feuds (Awar gets distracted by Giroux, causing his loss, Romeo is ringside on commentary witnessing the action). As long as one person in your main event is over and can work, you're going to be gaining pop for a while in AWF, because they are so small for how over their talent actually are. A Huntley Vs Awar main event should easily score you a rating thats good enough for your overall show rating if booked correctly. So thats generally how I do TV.

Honestly, if my owner goals of not hiring anyone with athleticism of less than 60 didn't exist, I would re-sign Core. Alas, it does give me a reason to lose a star and freshen up my booking and push different guys. Sometimes letting guys go just makes things interesting, I tried to talk him into retiring so i could keep him as a road agent but he doesn't want to yet. I will miss his 85 psychology as many of the top guys in AWF don't have the best psych and he's a good person to teach them, but I will get by. I would say that if you have Khrome you should keep Core and thats a hell of a storyline you could do, I envision Khrome retiring Core one day but i also can't sign Khrome so I won't be running that anytime soon.

Its not a bad idea to do Romeo Vs Hawk, you have 2 guys who are over AND can work. They can easily pull 80+ ratings provided they don't have negative chemistry and thats massive for AWF. I actually kept them both babyface in my storyline, both chasing Jonah Huntley but both appealing to different fans. Hawk is 100% playing John Cena in his very current storyline of returning from Hollywood. He appeals to the kids and the women, Romeo i see as maybe a CM Punk type, anti authority, anti Hawk, disappointed Hawk can walk back in and push his way back to the top. I would say Hawk has been a bit more heelish than Cena, he has been a bit smug in promos, calling out Romeo for not being able to keep Huntley in line etc. Hawk actually guest refereed Huntley Vs Romeo in his first PPV back in my save as a way of easing him into that story. Its been a blast so far, Huntley being the cowardly champion sitting back and waiting for his moments to strike, and somehow coming out always winning.

The Bollywood Knights are my current Tag Team champions! Seems like a no brainer to bring them in as you're correct in your observation that the Tag Division is thin. I also bought in Jake Boone to reform his tag team with N8 Omega (who was doing nothing else after his opening feud with DZ Jenkins) and i bought back the New California Blondes & The Latin Males. The Devestators are just putting over tag teams with their overness, and helping the younger teams with their psych. ALPHA are still the top dogs really, i see them holding the Tag Titles again in the future. I generally don't worry too much about the match ratings for the tag division, its all a work in progress, so focusing on good workers might be a fine approach for you.

I generally run between 5-7 storylines. With TV being 1 1/2 hours, you don't want to cram in anymore than that (7 is pushing it really) and short change anyone. Yes it does mean people on the roster may not be on TV for a while, but dark matches are a thing and i recommend using them as often as you can for those people not in storylines, just to get them working, improving and their momentum not dying off from being unused. Storyline length varies, my big World Title stories could go 6 months to a year with various people floating in and out but the core people staying the same. A feud like The Fyre Vs Aaron Price for example just depends on how good the first match is and if i have a good idea to keep it going. If they over-deliver and get me a 75 rating, I'm going to use that as fuel to keep going, with one of them potentially getting a Title shot, or making it more personal etc. If it doesn't really set the world alight and i'm going through the motions, i don't mind it being 1 and done at a PPV. If I have a storyline where 1 person is going over and i don't care about the other, I'll run a three match series with the final match being at PPV and bang it out in a month. So it just depends really.

Hey you're only in February so I wouldn't worry. Just have some vague idea of a big match you'd like to do and try plan backwards is my advice to you. I knew Hawk Vs Romeo Vs Huntley was my WF main event so I came up with all the other steps working backwards (Hawk Vs Romeo number 1 contender match ending in draw, before that Hawk guest reffing the AWF Title match between Huntley and Romeo etc). Ebi Kadivar and The Fyre are both good upper card heels. I envision Kadivar being World Title level one day, not sure about Fyre but he's a good hand. Kadivar is just waiting for the right feud at the game's beginning. Lance is great, shame about the chemistry but thats the luck of the draw, if you did restart he might have great chemistry with those same workers haha. He's definitely going to become a world champion for me as i finally am getting his overness moving up.

Sorry for the rambling post, I hope this was interesting and potentially of some use to you! I always enjoy reading people's posts on here (especially when they're running the same company as I), so please continue to share your progress with us!

Firstly, this is EXACTLY the sort of level of response I was hoping for ha ha, so please dont worry about 'rambling'!

Those are some great tips for TV cards, thanks. I think my problem at the moment is that I am ok with coming up with ideas but it's executing them efficiently within the mechanics of TEW which I am not totally familiar with the nuances of yet. I need to spend less time creating small angles to explain whats happening and instead look to perhaps the match road agent notes as you said, have someone distract someone or interfere in a match and that affects the result. That would be much more impactful. How do I get it so that a worker appears on commentary for a particular match? I can see the road agent note to have a worker at ringside but not on commentary. Also, should I be using things like the 'keep strong' note a lot more in my main event stuff? I hadnt even thought about that potentially affecting their pop etc Is there ever a time I wouldnt want to keep someone strong if they're an important worker for me?

I brought Giroux back too but ended up having him as a face, how is he as a Heel? I take it if a worker is a 'mentor' to someone, they will always have good chemistry with them? I've had him managing Awar as well as competing in his own matches and I always get little bonuses about how he did great work at ringside or helped Awar 'They play off each other well' etc but maybe having him be heel and feud with Awar could be even better! Would you mind sharing any pictures of your TV cards just so I can get a better idea of how you're structuring your shows, I'm more of a visual learner and there is soooooooo much text in this game when it comes to learning that I just think that might be helpful. No worries if its too much hassle to share!

Like i mentioned, I think it's executing the storylines in TEW which I am a bit confused about, let's say i'm running the 3 man title feud that you get as default with Huntley, Core and Romeo.....if I wanted to have Huntley feud with Giroux for a month or so to mix it up, would I create a new storyline for that? or just add Giroux into the already existing storyline?

That's cool you got the Bollywood Knights, I like the look of those guys, did you have them as heel or face? To me they just scream Face. Annoyingly Hunter Wolfe has just been poached by PWI when they go up in size, along side Merengue and Ebi Kadivar so there goes one half of my best tag team. DeSean Royal is actually getting some good ratings in singles competition though so he might be quite useful. Yeah i've noticed that with the tag teams available and just the way the tag scene is that you're not likely to have that as one of the 'hot' storylines, so i suppose it's more about getting people over and just fleshing out the division. I like the Wolverines but havent brought them in yet as I dont want to waste them.

So with your 5-7 storylines, how are they spread throughout the roster in terms of position on the card? I think i'm going to do a fresh AWF playthrough as i've learnt so much from this one (and your post) and hopefully this time it'll be a bit cleaner. I'll probably run with 5, that way I have more chance of keeping the 3 of them hot as required. How many dark matches do you usually run? I do use those but i've been using them more as a method to try and develop guys which keep getting recommended to me like Black Gold and Eddy Lemaitre although I'm not sure if it's doing much for them. Are you focusing on any of your lower guys? trying to develop them?

I hope you dont mind me asking a few more questions.....

What do you do for the lower belts like the TV title? tie it to a story or just let it float around the lower midcard/midcard?

I'm upgrading the merch at rapid as I thought that would be a good way to try and maximise profits with the impending popularity increase as the company grows. Looking at the TV and PPV deals, it's a low coverage deal but also as a company we only get like 25% on PPV's and 30% on tv shows which seems so low! Have you started your own broadcaster or anything? I signed a tv deal with Wrestlenet just because they had the same coverage level in the US but also included Canada too and let me have 60% of the profits so I thought that might help my Canadian pop and also make me a bit more money but i'm not entirely sure of how all the broadcasting deals etc play out in the bigger scheme of it! Seems like starting your own network is the best way but I dont have the upfront cash for it yet.

I'm sorry for so many questions dude but since discovering the Thunderverse I just cant get enough, I'd struggled with a good Tew2020 save and this has just made the game brand new again for me!

I'd be happy to share anything cool as it happens in my save and would enjoy hearing more about yours too!

Think about it like a booker. Is the storyline super hot? If it is, probably wanna keep it running and just add Giroux in, making it a true 3 way at some point in the future. Is the storyline floundering? Better to drop it and start a new one to see if it helps.

So with your 5-7 storylines, how are they spread throughout the roster in terms of position on the card? I think i'm going to do a fresh AWF playthrough as i've learnt so much from this one (and your post) and hopefully this time it'll be a bit cleaner. I always have those champions in a storyline, personally. Unless it's something like WWE's hardcore (or 24/7) belt, that is normally it's own thing separate from storylines.

I haven't seen what the numbers are like since patches, but networks were always the way to go. That could be absolutely wrong now, idk. I like to play it like I feel a wrestling company would though. I personally don't game the system just to game it (but if that's your style, go for it.)

<p>I just want to say, I'm finally getting the chance to look through this thing, and I'm blown away. Devastated that my XXXtreme company has met an unfortunate Born-Again Christian heel turn, but buoyed by the discovery of the Kajui Big-Battel <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> rebirth of PoW And Luchasauras X into a promotion I've wanted to book for ages now, but just never had the render support. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm absolutely floored with the creativity here. When you teased this, I expected just an overhaul on the original with a few updates, and some expansions into India and Europe. I didn't expect a completely new mod from the ground up.</p>

Honestly the biggest advice I can give you in to experiment! don't be afraid to try something, its the easiest way to figure something out! Should've been the first thing I said in my previous post.

I will attach a picture of my recent TV card (hopefully!) to show you what typically do. In this particular show, I started strong with all my World Title story segments first. I typically write short sentences in the segment names about whats happening in my angles. I'd love to be able to write more there but the character limit is quite restrictive, and its merely there for me to remember my idea or intention for them. A lot of the middle of the show is dedicated to the Tag division, midcard stories and TV title and a lot of story telling and enhancement style matches/small rivalries I don't mind doing matches for on TV (TV title match, New California Blondes etc). My mistake this time was putting Core Vs Tyrannus so high up the card. It was an enhancement match pure and simple, just to give Core a bit of heat back in his last few weeks before he leaves us. It should probably have gone on earlier but 59 is fine I guess. My main event was risky, I didn't use the biggest storylines this week. Lance and Hancock are feuding and Martial/Kadivar is the US title feud. The latter 2 are carrying most of the overness for this one, Lance is very over but Hancock is on his way down the card. I am quite happy with anything over 70 here, my TV main events don't need to be any bigger than that.

With Giroux and Awar, I don't believe their pre-existing personal relationship guarantees anything to do with their chemistry, which is decided only when you start a save. They theoretically could have bad chemistry in a save game. In my save, I have found no chemistry between them as opponents (wouldn't be able to say as manager/client or tag partners, but its possible one of those combos have chemistry). I played Thunderverse in 2016 so to me Giroux was always the flamboyant, cocky foreign heel who could back it up in the ring. Weirdly in this edition he feels like Chris Jericho a bit, so I could also see him playing a babyface like he is in your save.

Yeah, you're using your dark matches correctly, focusing on those 2 guys in particular is a good strategy, as both look like big time players in the future. Dark matches however could be doing a bit less for them if you're always putting them against guys who are at their level or don't know how to work. I find it useful to have guys who have high psych/selling/basics work in those dark matches against those guys you want to develop, even if you aren't using them in a story yet. Don't be afraid to hire guys specifically for the role, guys who are older, experienced but not necessarily over. I didn't actually do dark matches on the TV i posted here and thats also fine, it doesn't need to be every week constantly.

Sorry, i have taken a lot of your stuff out of order! With the storyline issue you've laid out, you can simply add Giroux into your current story. That's what I would do if it felt like a genuine continuation of the same storyline, or that old storyline was constantly going on in the background. But there's no 'right' way to do storylines, you can start and stop them whenever you like. Just keep an eye on the heat and if the story is still hot, because if it is all going well, it may just be easier to maintain that rather than starting again. All stories will lose heat over time however (I think, don't hold me to that).

I do currently have my TV title tied to a story but thats because I am focusing on pushing both Eddy Lemaitre and Leati Laukea (Samoa Afasa in my save). Laukea is a beast and well worth picking up should you want him. He's going to drop the TV title to Lemaitre who i haven't really done enough with until now. I then see Laukea almost surpassing that belt and getting himself into US title contention, but he will need a feud in between just to get his overness up a bit more. But he has improved quite a bit and a Samoa Joe-Roman Reigns type of character is one I find easy to push. He also has Amy Ladner as his manager who is over and can talk so its been a fun journey for him so far.

As for TV, i did recently get myself onto a medium TV station by cancelling my old TV contract, and did the same for my PPV deal. It has helped me get my company pop moving a bit more as well as bringing in more money by increasing buyrates. For both deals i am at a 35% of money to me level. This is quite fine, I make about 500-700k per month because of this. Upgrading your merch is also a good idea, and can make good money doing that too. Starting your own network is good and ultimately ends up being good for you but AWF is a long way off that kind of money.

I missed a whole paragraph about your tag division haha, Its a real shame you lost one half of ALPHA and Kadivar. Merengue honestly is more trouble than he is worth though. Don't be afraid to sign exclusive written deals to guys you want to build around. I still have a decent amount of handshake deals but i knew Kadivar was someone i wanted to stay so i got him a written deal before PWI considered poaching him.

Don't worry about the questions, happy to help in any way and love talking about this game in general. Takes me a couple of days to get round to playing and answering but I do always read the threads!

I've always seen Brit Riley as a sort of Tessa Blanchard figure in the ring. Well, turns out that the similarity holds backstage too as she just "...apparently 'went nuts' on NCW booker Chaperone last night, which could spell the end of her run with the promotion. Insiders say that a dispute about her push escalated to the point where Brit Riley had to be dragged away by other wrestlers, and she eventually stormed out of NCW HQ in a rage." It would seem that art imitates life after all :D

Yeah i've brought in Leati Laukea now too off your recommendation, loads of guys are saying he's got potential so I've just gotta find the right feud for him to give him a push.

Appreciate all the advice and info dude

Was playing a nice chill AWW game, when PWI grew in size and sent offers to Tegan, Chloe and Layla. I gave them basically the max offers I could but all three left.

So it’s rebuild time baby

(In hindsight I should have renegotiated at least Chloe and Tegan’s deals but oh well)

If you go down to box that says angle writer you can write a lot more for your angles if you want. Significantly more than the limit in just the heading. If you're already aware ignore me.

I've started a Heel stable in AWF consisting of Timothy Hawk, Jonah Huntley, and Core. I had a 4-way match with those 3 and Derrick Romeo for the World Title. Hawk turned Heel on Romeo and won the Title with the help of Huntley and Core.

Trying to come up with a Stable name. Any ideas?

Hawk's Nest

Team Awesome

Main Event

Just couple of ideaa. That seems cool, keep us updated how it goes. I never had the courage to turn Hawk heel but it's something I always dream about. To make him lead the evilest stable of AWF history.

Also never did Huntley and Core alliance, seems dope.

First real T-Verse save is also my first puro save.

Here's my first DIASPORA Prime Judgement

wxBtlPE.png

Some context: Sniper K is Zodiac and Hideki. Paint Pitch Black is heel Natsume Doi and Noyo. The very first month of my save saw RIKU winning the title, and later turning on Zodiac and forming his own stable with Bloodus, Talisman, Noyo, and Inokuma (who I've since fired). A couple months back I had Nori turn on Sairento due to jealousy for Sairento winning a title shot and Nori losing a title shot tournament. I'm using a face/heel split for the company, but only the true freaks are heel. It's hard to determine if Sairento is a freak or not but he's a face anyway for now. And the main event was tag team partners BURNING and SHIMIZU. SHIMIZU won the tournament for the title shot, and there's no bad blood or friction between them.

I made it to Jan 2022 in my AWF save. Been having a ton of fun with it but my roster is completely different in a lot of ways. I'll run through my Champions quickly, there would be way too much to explain overall, but the save has been a blast.

AWF World Champion- Derrick Romeo (5). Recently beat Timothy Hawk at the New Years PPV, cementing his heel run nicely. Have him leading a stable with Drake Richards as his mouthpiece, Omega & Boone as his lackies, and i got in Mykal Laamb (renamed him Giant Zuma) as the muscle. Hoping to eventually push Zuma as a main event monster heel but its waaay down the track. Romeo's next contender is Sharif Awar, who is getting over nicely too, but Romeo won't be losing just yet,

AWF United States Champion- Tyshawn Martial (1). He is currently the longest reigning champion i have at 7 months. He beat Ebi Kadivar for the Title back in July and has held off contenders like The Fyre, Jesse Mills, Samoa Afasa (Leati Laukea) to continue to reign. He is a big time babyface for the company, and is currently feuding with Jean-Claude Giroux as a way for me to get him into the main event picture. I see him as a pretty big deal in the next 6-12 months as i aim for Large.

AWF Television- Bryce Christensen (1). Bryce and team mate Chris Candell are feuding with former TV title holder Caleb Adonis. Truthfully, i needed the title off Adonis so i could move him up the card. He is rocketing up for me, he hit 97 SQ by putting on some mass and being ripped. He is a mega dimes heel in the making if i can improve his top row stats and Psych. But i am excited for his future when it comes to helping me eventually take down PWI.

AWF Tag Team Titles- 24/7 Express (1). Ricky Binks and Zach Martin recently came into AWF and took down longtime champions Bollywood Knights. I have made a real effort to build the tag division with these 2 teams, ALPHA, Scott Nicholls and Nick Bell, Latin Males (Antonia Estes and Joey Perez), Omega & Boone just some of the teams i have under contract. Its been interesting booking the tag division, fills out a lot of my TV time.

Loving the mod overall though, definitely my favourite way to play TEW now, its a shame this thread never seems to be posted in that often though, love to know how others are going!
