I have an idea. Hardcore wrestling is dying, so you start WEXXV or open a hardcore promotion in Mexico and then slowly create a hardcore alliance with DIW, PSW, SNP and prove to world that hardcore wrestling is well and truly kicking.

Always thought Mexican Hardcore Wrestling had potential, really. With the new products expanding "hardcore" and not making it so damn punishing to book, I can really see MHW present a Mexican Horror/Grindhouse product, kinda like EMLL but more gory and less cartoony.

 

UCW has also been a great prospect, bringing hardcore to the technical blandness of Canada. There's a real gap in the market since 4C went for faster action and less blood, now with them out of business it's high time for Larry Wood to set up UCW!

Setup with a MONSTER BATTLE product to allow for UNLIMITED VISION, WORLD-SHAKING EVENTS and SHORT EASY MATCHES FOR A 45-YEAR-OLD BROKEN DOWN BODY, it is the ONLY company with a hiring rule decreeing LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT AS THE MINIMUM SIZE FOR TALENT SIGNINGS!! Smaller wrestlers are not allowed, EVEN AS JOBBEEERRS!!

 

THE FOOOOOOORCE may or may not have convinced some of the HEAVIER USPW wrestlers to go along with him on this JOURNEY!!!

 

FULL FORCE WRESTLING is a fully Integrated company even though there is only ONE WOMAN IN THE WORLD that it will allow itself to sign and she works EXCLUSIVELY IN JAPAAAAAN!!

 

And yes, FULL FORCE WRESTLING is in ALL-CAPS. AT ALL TIMES! DO NOT SAY IT AS AN ACRONYM OR ELSE FEEL THE FOOOOORCE!!!

I would suggest starting a save by using the ‘mixitup’ code in remote help. This code was able to be used in TEW2016, but the scenarios are all really good save starters.

It's supposed to give you a game-changing event the next day, I tried it and it's not as severe as it was last game (the plane crash that took out a ton of a companies rosters.) I did a few tests, and it is almost always a financial scandal for some big company and they lose a few million usually.

on several levels

 

- They become a Public Alliance, manditoring all theiyr Members to Start their Name with a COTT (f.e COTT Mid Atlantic....)

 

- They become Global, so they can Take European, Inian etc applications

 

- In Order to become\stay relevant there is no Size limit concerning the Promotions

 

- jet they agree that their Members present Wrestlinga serious sport, so no comic or "Hardcore to Garbadge (if there is a difference)" Products are allowed and the "Sports Entertainment" aspect should not overshadow the legetimicy of the Sport

 

- Due to the previous Rules, IPW left the Alliance as neither Vim Tanner (Booker) nor Gil Tomeas (owner) were willing to change teir Product that drasticly

 

^^ I´ll try to work with this setting in all my "CornellVerse" Saves letzt see how it plays out, as I usually play either a COTT Promotion or try to join....

Player caracter: a german Rookie (Technical) just graduatet from the "WWA :Europe" School (Busines Reputation ist based on a "dice thow" I´ll Throw 3 d20 potentially getting a number ranged from 3-60devided by 2 so I´ll get a business Start Reputation from something about 1,5 to 30; If I understand right, that´ll effect the finances my set up Promotion has, right?)

Despite his young age, he is a fan sof "Old School Wrestling" not really fitting into the style of both bigger Western European Promtions.

Stategy...

I´d like my Company to set up a SMALL (Internet) Commercian Network Covering just Central Europe at the beginnen potentually setting up other areas if my popularity rises unless I´ll have the possibility to be taken by a public Network. In this case, I´ll shut down my own Network probably...

 

Not quite sure concerning the scedule.

I´ll defenetly Tape a TV-show (4 Shows one Taping). If Popularity spollovers make it possible Touring Europe so I can use different local talent to test or job out to my own Guys. This show also is intendet to promote my Event Scedule.

 

I´ll Try either

1-2 minor Events (non Tapes)a week (simulating old school terridories like every thursday night in the Louisvill Gardens etc...) and one "Big" Event once a Month

or

Japanese (European like wXw) style Touring scedule with aboute 2 Events per Tour\Week Having The Tour higlights Taped for later usage an da Big Event once a Month

 

Either Way, the Big Event ist to be held AFTER the last TV Show aired but BEFORE the next TV Tapings

 

AND I´ll defenetly Join the COTT as soon as possible...

 

 

Hiering stradegy:

- Young unknown Talents. They are cheap and perhaps I´ll find some to use as backbone of my Roster for several years

 

- If possible some Veterans who can still go and teach the young folk

 

- As soon as (well if I survive that long) possible I´ll set up a Traininf Fascility (I´d like to be it a Performance Center but could be a dojo as well) to develope my own Talent

 

- quite "heavy" usage of local Talent to job out to my "Main guis", to Teach the Younger and to utilise their regional drawing Power

 

- When in the COTTI´ll Try to utilise the talent Trades to keep my cards fresh as I´ll have quite a big output

 

 

I hope not to get bancrupt in the first 6 Month jet I´ll give it a try I think...

BTWas Europe is a cluster of different languages (even in one area if set up corect...) Are there any experiances with talent learning new languages you made so far?

Have a band of wrestlers (KC Glenn, Matthew Keith, etc.) formed a AEW-like promotion bringing them a big name like Angry Gilmore (who obviously wants a lighter schedule). Your user character is a Tony Khan.

 

This was kinda the route I took. Greg Gauge, Matthew Keith, Cameron Vessey, and Jay Chord pooled together some family money and started their own fed. Keith brought in KC Glenn, Reaver, and Simon Flemmingway from Japan. Talked other 2nd gen talent like Casey Valentine and Bret Starr into coming along. Enticed a scorned Robbie Sanchez to be head ref and gave him the book. High workrate guys like Mikey Lau and Steven Parker and Shooter Sean Deeley that "felt overlooked/unappreciated/lost in the shuffle" signed on. Got a bunch of MAW grads (Keith/Chord connection) like McManus, O'Farraday, Collier, del Veccio. Then poached top talent from the indies - American Cobras, Frankie Perez, Youngman, Callum, The Architect.

ULTIMATE COMBAT RING REVIVAL

 

Albert Thorp has talked Byron and Ali into having a meeting regarding what's best for business for all of them. This discussion results in the following:

 

- Albert buys EWA & UEW and merges them, reviving an almost medium sized Ultimate Combat Ring, keeping VWA around as Developmental. The new UCR will be based in Switzerland, and they will focus on the whole Europe, except the cheap Eastern Europe and the far Scandinavia & Russia.

- The three businessmen put together a budget of 750 000 $ for the new UCR, and besides this, Thorp, the biggest owner, invests in the new Combat Ring Network, an internet subscription service, with small coverage in Europe and very small coverage in the UK!

- To prevent the problem that proved to be the death of the original UCR, the two different styles that went on to be represented by EWA & UEW will now be present on the two separate weekly shows! UCR Starlight will be the provider of Classic Sports Entertainment, airing for 2 hours every Monday, with Byron as GM; and UCR Colloseum Fights will promote Respectful Wrestling, airing for 2 hours every Sunday night, under Ali Bloxsome's guidance. Sadly, the old EWA's female workers all got cut.

- Brands will run a special event every two months (Starlight event in February, Coll Fights event in March, Starlight event in April etc), with one brand vs brand themed event in January and a supershow featuring both brands in December. UCR might look for other broadcaster for it's specials.

- The VWA keeps its product, as it's a mix that can feed both brands. It is owned and booked by the great Stig Svensson. Also, the company's weekly show, which airs for 90 minutes every thursday, is called VWA Greatness. Every 4 months, there will be a special event - VWA Triumph 1 being the first one, in April.

- The revived UCR will be looking to open a training facility of at least Low level in it's first year.

- Enraged by the fact that he's relegated to developmental and not even getting to book the damn thing, Joey Beauchamp refuses, quits and opens up his own Small promotion (with blackjack and hookers) in Spain with an Episodic Entertainment focus: New Breeze of Wrestling. He manages to bring in some friends with him: Juan Mendoza, Xavi Machismo, Cub Balowicz, Thor The Mighty, commentator Tim Reed and, most impressively, VWA's own Landon Mallory, as the VWA star had disputes with the UCR top men about his future. Other talents include up-and comers Notorious FREAK, Thorsten Sigurdsson, Acheron, Evil Spirit, veterans Bulldog Jack, Herschel The Hammer, Otto Hammerschmidt, Derrick Merrick and pretty much all the ex-EWA ladies. The company has a budget of 25 000 $, so Joey's dream of showing the new UCR who's who seems pretty crazy as of now.

Ha, had a very similar idea to the UCR revival one where Dunton Hall bought out EWA and VWA to form Pro Wrestling Europe (PWE) and has put them on their own online broadcasting platform. Even with VWA as a developmental!

 

The goal is to bring wrestling to the mainstream in Europe, and eventually, compete with 21CW in the UK.
