But yeah, hey! There's a new batch of updates!

 

First off, I'd like to thank Saiyan/expos4life here on the forums, for his massive help on this one. He basically joined "The Team" and not only did a lot of... idk, twitter marketing I guess? but he helped a crapton with Paradigm Pro Wrestling, which I feel is now pretty fleshed out.

 

But yeah, fairly big updates all around.

 

 

 

Indies+ has seen a ton of new workers added, and some really great up and coming Indie companies, including the likes of New South Pro Wrestling, H20 (Matt Tremont's place), and of course! Camp Leapfrog! who've been an absolute delight on twitter about this expansion pack.

Titles+ has also seen a lotta love. I've found out that I kinda like doing tedious crap like editing in-game titles, and at one point, decided to do a really really big undertaking...

 

I added the DDT Ironman Heavymetalweight Title. Including (most) of it's lineage.

 

It was a RIIIIIIGHT BITCH to add, but after a solid full day of working on it, I got it up to date!

Sidenote: I added so many lineages to it, that at times, the editor started acting REALLY weird. So if you notice any mistakes in the lineage, or have problems importings TItles+, then please let me know in the thread or in DMs.

I made the first expansion!

 

Say hello to Titles+ Awards Edition... Yes, this is literally just a pack full of those silly stupid end of the year awards things. Like the Slammies ad whatnot.

 

Surprisingly hard to add. So hard, that I decided to actually compromise a lil' bit, and only add up to the resurgence of the Slammies in 2008. Buuut if there's enough demand, I can definitely spend an afternoon or whatever, fiddling about with that.

I have the worst luck.

 

I saw that Questlove was changing a bunch of names for RWC. So I went into Indies+ to fix 'em up, so there wouldn't be duplicates... Turns out, I fixed the wrong database. And there's dupes.

 

One day, I swear I'll have a release that isn't buggered.

 

Imma have it fixed in a jiffy lads.

First off: Forgot to say it in this thread, but if you had downloaded Titles+ when it came out... Then either redownload it real quick, or go in to fix my screwup with the WCW Cruiserweight Tag and WCW Womens titles... Accidentally left them active.

I'VE GOT A POLL!

 

Now that a good amount of the companies I already wanted to add are in, and we might be getting close to the point where TEW starts chugging with the amount of companies that are in. I wanna gauge interest on what potential additions might interest people.

 

So please, go give the poll a quick look. It's multi choice, so you can vote for as many as you like. but please do only vote for the companies that you geniunely think you might book, or the ones that would make you happy to be in game.

 

Sidenote: These aren't ALL the companies on our radar at the moment (We could only have 12 options), and it's not a guarantee that the highest voted companies will get added. This is just to see the INTEREST in them being added.

 

Feel free to give your own shoutouts for additions in the thread as well if you wanna.

 

... Also yes, I realize that I called it "East Coast Wrestling Alliance" instead of "East Coast Wrestling Association", I'm already beating myself up over that. lol

Sadly, I doubt it. Because while I'd love to fill out the European scene with some more companies, there isn't really all that much notable stuff outside of Germany. At least not stuff I can easily access.

 

Adding a promotion and the necessary workers, can be a really long and hard endeavour even at the best of times (When most of the info is readily avalible, and they already use mostly stars that are in RWC already.)

 

Like, I already might have to hand off adding Zona 23 to Quest, because as somebody who doesn't know a lick of spanish, it's really hard to find the proper info I need on the Mexican workers (who usually don't have twitter or instagram accounts) that I'd need to know. And don't even get me started on road agents and the owners.

 

I feel like getting into an area as narrow as France or Spain or somewhere like that, would be the same story sadly.

 

... This was kinda rambly.

 

TL;DR I'm not entirely ruling it out, but it's very unlikely.

The new RWC is out, so that of course means the new RWC+ batch gets released!

Me, Saiyan and Emmo have done our best to make a really comprehensive update here, Updating some stuff that I screwed up with the original bunch of companies/missed out on, updated a whole lotta stuff, added new workers and all that...

 

Aaaaand of course, we added some new companies! This time, it was companies that rated pretty well on the company poll I put out at... Some point. I forgot.

 

 

Anyway, the companies added are...

And the trap & skater culture infused sensation, that is Violence X Suffering

 

Along with a crapton of new indie workers. And the first couple instances of user characters in Indies+, since me and the others thought that'd be really fun to do. So now you can book shows as Jerma 985 or the Deadlock boys. isn't that fun?

 

Also, I've added a lot more names to the title lineages page of regular RWC, since I've been doing title work for it. And I'm starting to slowly but surely add in little title holder notes, so you don't have to search through all the lineages to find the one specific cruiserweight title reign Devon Storm had so you can properly attribute it to him, and can just like... Look it up and stuff.

 

I'm bad at explaining. But yeah, moving on.

The biggest thing I'd say about this month's update, is that I went ahead and added some of the Casino ____ Match variations, and got Devil to knock up some great little logos for them. Believe me, I did this like, several weeks before the Casino Ladder Match got announced on wednesday

 

Crossing my fingers that i don't have another embarrassing WCW Cruiserweight Tag Title fiasco on my hands!

Considering how BODYSLAM, and the rest of the nordics by association, are heading into a potentially really really big few months, it was only fitting for me to get back into the swing of things, and bring the mod that started all this back into the fold!

 

 

 

 

I just wanna say huge thank you to a lot of Indie wrestlers, who were once again willing to listen to me when I came into their twitter DMs and started asking all these weird TEW questions, and asked them to share pictures of the belts they held so I could get pictures of them to be made.

 

And as always, if you have ANY COMMENTS about ANY MOD PACK here! Send it out I'm stupid, and things slide by me all the freaking time. (There were a ton of H2O stuff that I missed from last release for example) Wether it's a date mistake, a championship that should be attributed to a wrestler that I missed in the notepad, missing attributes, or god forbid screwed up stats Cough, Tyler Franks, Hunter Drake and Ashley D'Ambroise nothing is too small to point out!

I forgot to set Ritchie Taylor to retired, since the situation seemed a bit weird, and still is even now. (He's still listed as champion atm. hmm)

 

It's not a big issue, it's something you can pretty easily and quickly fix by deleting his contract, setting him to left the business, and adding a DMDU Heavyweight lineage for him, that started May 22, 2021 and ended when he retired August 24, 2021.

 

Buuuut I still replaced the links with a new one, just to be sure.

If anybody makes a gif picture pack for it, I'd gladly link it, made a second download link with the gif stuff set, and keep them in the know regarding the companies and wrestlers we're adding. But I'm not much of a gif person myself, so it's not really high on the priority tree for me sadly.

Hey, quick question people. Anybody here real invested in Matt Tremont's promotion H2O?

 

Because while I've been a fan of a lot of their stuff, and me, Emmo & Saiyan put a lot of work into adding them. There's been some recent shit with them that's been making us have second thoughts about them. The whole Christina Von Eerie fiasco, and now the crap with Rob Feinstein.

 

And I just wanna know what people generally think about them on here. If you follow the company, or like booking with them or anything. Because if this sorta crap keeps on, and nobody here really gets anything out of having them downloadable...

 

Then we might as well be thinking about focusing our energy on another US Promotion that people would be more interesting in.

That's a good shout. Enjoy has been thrown about here and there as a potential additon. It has a good amount of workers who are already in RWC as well, so it wouldn't be too hard to add!
