Thought I should quickly update, and say that both Dino/Howdy Price and Leroy Patterson'll be coming in March! And congrats to them for moving foward on the Go Big Show and stuff!

 

Also, been looking back into possibly adding Zona 23, or Italian Championship Wrestling. But man is it intimidating to jump into that an area where you have no foothold (With the amount of work gone into America at this point, half the time most of a roster is already filled up by the workers we've already added) and will struggle a lot more to find data, due to language barriers and just... Not so much being avalible online.

 

But maaan, I really do wanna have Zona 23 in, cause it'd be fun to have ridiculous deathmatch crap...

I've been fiddling with the Indies+ stuff a lot for the past week or so, and it's gotten me to think about stuff. So I wanna get a feel for what the people want again.

 

First thing's first. Just answer this poll I quickly threw together.

 

Here's the strawpoll link.

 

Second thing's second, how would people feel if I were to merge the ScandiGraps mod with Indies+? Would people be happy about having to download less things, or would you prefer that the spaces in that mod are saved for more companies?

 

We've got most of the American indie scene covered at this point, although there's still guys like Reality of Wrestling and Prestige who definitely warrant at least thinking about looking at. And I've started experimenting with adding European workers, to see if I might be able to cover enough ground to warrant adding APC.

 

Buuut if ScandiGraps was added to the main Indies+ mod, it'd urge me to work on it a lot more, since it's sadly been neglected for the past year due to the focus on Indies+, and I've never really had time to update a lot of the stat work on it.

 

Also, less tedious importing is a big plus.

 

And third thing's third... I have no third thing. That was all.

One thing I'd suggest is to maybe look into the current regular talent for OVW, they were a fed suggested to me when I was looking for new promotions to make active, plus you have the Al Snow connection so they are in the same ballpark as ROW. I'm not suggesting adding the promotion but the bulk of their regulars do have Cagematche profiles, plus who doesn't want Freya the Slaya.

 

I'd also support a move to expand into Europe and possibly Canada and Australia, the areas that don't get as much love since their a little bit off the beaten track and a more fringe audience.

In my opinion, having more companies to play with and workers to discover is always a good thing, so I'd be down for a more "complete" pack. After all, if we don't want some of the companies (in this case, the Scandinavian ones, but it could be others too), we can simply decide not to import them.

 

As for adding more European companies, there's no doubt I'd be interested to have the French and Belgian ones in a mod, so of course I'd be down for more packs, or for them to be added to the Indies+ mod.

Speaking of those companies, if you need help translating or searching for some infos in French feel free to message me ! I haven't been able to follow much of the scene lately, and I'm absolutely awful at rating people anyway, but I can try and do my best to help with infos, attributes, etc !

Annnd as we reach the last week of February, and I finish off adding the last couple people, Imma stop there and call it enough workers for an update. I could go on, because for some reason I've got all the energy in the world when it comes to adding people now. But I wanna actually have some people to add for the May update.

 

Obviously I'll keep updating it with whatever big things come out (If DPW announce another talent for the Fire tapings in March, I'll probably have to add them as quickly as possible) but for now, this'll be your roster of new talent to bring in, for all those big Mania Weekend shows come April.

Hey, just wanna say that you can add Heidi Howitzer, Shawn Kemp and Jay Malachi to the list.

 

I really did think I was done adding, but uh... didn't realize Heidi wasn't in main RWC, and her 'n Max won the New South tag belts. Lol

 

Then after that, DPW announced another batch of debutees for Fire! And I wanna try to not leave people without the full announced roster. So imma try and get Kemp and Malachi added over the next hour or so. Then head to bed.
