I've been quietly following along, and I just want to say this is an awesome dynasty! Great card for Fight For The Fallen.

AEW DYNAMITE: FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN

WEDNESDAY WEEK 4, JULY 2021

<hr color = gold>

AEW DARK: ELEVATION

1. The Acclaimed def. The Gunn Brothers

2. Hikaru Shida def. Gia Scott

3. Nyla Rose def. KiLynn King

4. Shawn Spears def. Sonny Kiss

<hr color = gold>

1. Fight for the Fallen started with a bang as Christian Cage & Jungle Boy took on and defeated Private Party. An extension of the Christian Cage vs. Matt Hardy rivalry, the match involved plenty of extracurricular activity from ringside as the Hardy Family Office and Jurassic Express jawed and eventually were thrown out by referee Paul Turner. Christian Cage got the pinfall over Marq Quen after an Unprettier. The HFO returned and overwhelmed the four babyfaces in the ring, and Matt Hardy stood tall with his crew to end the opening segment.

Sting and Darby Allin were backstage with Alex Marvez. Marvez asked what was next for them in AEW. Darby told him that what is next for them, no one will expect. Sting said that the only thing for sure about Sting and Darby, is that nothing's for sure.

2. Jade Cargill defeated Yuka Sakazaki with relative ease. Post match, she kicked Yuka out of the ring to her teammates, Hikaru Shida and Riho, as Smart Mark Sterling told the trio that only one of them is left: Hikaru Shida, the former AEW Women's World Champion who held the belt for over one year. Sterling said that after Jade defeats her, they'll be getting endorsements like they've never seen before, and then championship gold is next.

Don Callis caught up with Hangman Adam Page backstage, and was almost met with a right hand across the jaw before Callis told him he wasn't there to cause problems. He told Hangman that everyone is well aware what being number one contender means. It means that he is due a title shot, and those are hard to come by in this company. Callis said that Kenny has told him a lot about Hangman. Long road trips, trips to Tokyo, countless stops at Cracker Barrel, Kenny was able to learn a thing or two about the Hangman, and he passed that knowledge on to him. Callis told Hangman that he knows what is best for him, and what's best for him is to challenge Miro for the TNT Championship. That way, he doesn't have to face his fears in Kenny Omega. He knows Hangman is afraid of failure, and the whole world saw what Kenny did to him last year at Full Gear. Callis said to save himself the burden of reliving that match, just challenge Miro instead.

3. Nick Aldis successfully defended the NWA World's Heavyweight Championship against Dustin Rhodes. Dustin was fighting to become just the second second-generation NWA World Champion, along with his brother Cody. Dustin fought valiantly and bled everywhere, but it was not enough to capture the Ten Pounds of Gold. Aldis won after grabbing Dustin's tights for an illegal rollup. Dustin pleaded with the referee to reverse his decision, but Aldis clocked him in the back of the head before the conversation could get very far. The rest of the NWA invaders, Chris Adonis, Zicky Dice and Jax Dane, beat down Dustin until Cody Rhodes and company sprinted to the ring to even the odds. Cody, Lee Johnson and the whole Gunn Club forced the NWA out of the ring and up the ramp as Nick Aldis held the title high up in the air.

Jake Roberts & Lance Archer were backstage. Jake said the Murderhawk does not forget who has wronged him, and he damn sure will never forgive. Men of the Year, Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page, for what they did to Darby, for and what they've been saying online about Lance, they will pay. Next week, Scorpio Sky is the next victim on the Murderhawk's list.

4. In an absolutely barnburner of a match, Britt Baker was able to avenge her loss in the Lights Out Match by defeating Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women's World Championship. The crowd was white hot throughout the match, behind Thunder Rosa full-stop. Rosa even hit the Fire Thunder Driver, but Britt was able to kick out of it at two. A few minutes later, Britt forced Rosa to pass out in the Lockjaw to retain her championship.

MJF cut a promo from a dark room with Wardlow standing behind him. MJF swore to end the career of Chris Jericho tonight. Thirty years of Jericho in wrestling leading to tonight, when MJF will leave Jericho in a wheelchair for another thirty years. MJF also told Wardlow to make sure Eddie Kingston does not get anywhere near the ring in FTR's match or in MJF's match.

5. In another chapter of the Pinnacle vs. Inner Circle feud, Santana and Ortiz took on FTR in a highly anticipated matchup. The North Carolina crowd was still behind Santana & Ortiz despite FTR being the hometown heroes. The match was sixteen minutes of pure tag team action, with the finish coming with a Street Sweeper by Santana and Ortiz to Cash Wheeler to pick up the victory.

Alex Marvez interviewed Kris Statlander backstage, Best Friends and Orange Cassidy in tow. Kris said she wanted to keep this short and sweet. After Thunder Rosa's loss tonight, the Galaxy's Favorite Alien is now ranked number one in the women's division, and that means she gets a title shot. At All Out, on the biggest stage in AEW, she wants Britt Baker!

The Elite was backstage in their entirety. Kenny Omega said it seems like the whole world is out to get them. It's like everyone forgot that without the ELITE, there would be no All ELITE Wrestling. Kenny said he knows that next week he will team with the AEW World Tag Team Champion Young Bucks to take on Orange Cassidy and Best Friends to finally put an end to their misery, but there will also be another trios match. Death Triangle has been really grinding their gears lately, and next week they will put them away as well. So who will be teaming with the Good Brothers in that match? He made a couple phone calls to some old friends, and was able to recruit a member of the new generation of the Bullet Club: Taiji Ishimori.

As is tradition, the crew ran down the announced card thus far for next week's Dynamite:

- The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) vs. Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent & Orange Cassidy)

- The Good Brothers & Taiji Ishimori vs. Death Triangle

- Andrade El Idolo vs. Sammy Guevara

- Scorpio Sky vs. Lance Archer

6. In one of the best matches in AEW history, MJF and Chris Jericho went at it for over twenty-five minutes. Blood, stiff shots, and nearfalls were all part and parcel of this match. MJF's second in Wardlow made life hell for Chris Jericho, whose number two in Sammy Guevara couldn't do much about it. Sammy was eventually taken out by Shawn Spears, who appeared with a chair and walloped him in the back and dragged him to the back, leaving Jericho with no ally. Wardlow tossed MJF the Dynamite Diamond Ring, but Jericho ducked the cheap shot and hit MJF with a Codebreaker, but Wardlow hopped onto the apron and distracted Aubrey Edwards. Eddie Kingston then sprinted to the ring and grabbed Wardlow's foot, causing him to fall off the apron. Eddie then hit him in the jaw with a chain wrapped around his fist, laying out the big man. MJF saw this and yelled at Eddie from the ring before turning around directly into a Judas Effect by Chris Jericho. Jericho then pinned him for the victory. Eddie slid into the ring and shook Jericho's hand as the two stood tall to end Fight for the Fallen.

No one was perfect!

A lot of y'all assumed MJF would defeat Jericho, but not so fast! MJF will probably be the one to retire Jericho, but Le Champion's time ain't up yet!

This thread will be kicking into full gear real fast, as I want to get through All Out soon. Expect lots of posts here over the next week or so!

Good show!

I'm curious about what Allin and Sting are teasing, and I like the direction with Hangman/Callis toying with his insecurity. The NWA/AEW invasion bit is fun, and Cody vs. Aldis should be great.

Good win for Santana and Ortiz, surely they'll get a title shot soon. Very surprised by Jericho pinning MJF; looking forward to seeing what happens next!

He noted that he was the number one contender in AEW, and that means he can choose which title wants to pursue: the TNT Championship, or the AEW World Championship. He said that Don Callis wants him to face Miro, but will not be doing so. Hangman said that he will be going after the same gold he's been after since day one. He lost to Chris Jericho for the title, he lost to Kenny Omega in the final of the contendership tournament. Does he think third time's the charm? The Elite surrounded on the apron as Matt Jackson entered the ring. He told Hangman that he was a failed experiment. Hangman socked Matt Jackson and the Elite jumped Hangman, but </span><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"><strong>the Dark Order</strong></span><span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';"> sprinted to the ring to save their cowboy friend. THE ROAD TO ALL OUT 2021, PART TWO

<hr color = gold>

AUGUST WEEK 3

1. Best Friends (Chuck Taylor/Trent) def. The Acclaimed - A prematch rap by the Acclaimed got the crowd into a frenzy, but Caster couldn't back up his words as he would fall victim to an Awful Waffle here.

Post match, the AEW World Tag Team Champion Young Bucks appeared and attacked the Best Friends, giving Trent an Indytaker before the rescue crew of Orange Cassidy and Wheeler Yuta entered the fray to scare off the champs.

Cody Rhodes came to the ring and was interviewed by Tony Schiavone. Tony asked him to respond to Andrade El Idolo's challenge from last week. After two minutes of stalling and beating around the bush through pseudo-patriotic metaphors, he finally accepted Andrade's challenge, confirming that they will be meeting at All Out the last Saturday of August.

2. Kris Statlander def. KiLynn King - An easy win to establish Statlander as a real threat to Britt Baker ahead of their title match at All Out.

Smart Mark Sterling was backstage with Jade Cargill and Dasha Gonzalez. Dasha asked the duo about Jade's match with Hikaru Shida at All Out, to which Sterling responded that Jade is more than ready. She has been training diligently with the best trainers in the world, while shooting luxurious photos in between sets. Jade is a star, said Mark.

3. Jacob Fatu def. Fuego Del Sol - Guess what happened.

Team Taz entered the ring with Jacob Fatu, with Taz grabbing a mic. He said that Brian Cage's time with the FTW title, and in AEW as a whole will come to end in a week and a half at All Out. Who betta? The Samoan Werewolf is betta.

4. NWA World Women's #1 Contender's Match: Thunder Rosa def. Momo Watanabe - With the winner moving on to All Out to challenge NWA World Women's Champion Serena Deeb, Thunder Rosa was victorious over STARDOM mainstay Momo Watanabe. Momo received a very welcome pop from the AEW crowd, but it was dwarfed by their love of Thunder Rosa.

TNT Champion Miro cut a promo on the Stinger, saying that he will always respect a man willing to get into the ring with God's Favorite Champion. That being said, Sting is a foolish man for challenging him. He will make him suffer, and we will see if the injured neck of Sting is truly redeemable.

5. Darby Allin & Lance Archer def. TH2 - In their first match together, Darby and Lance beat Jack Evans and Angelico in a glorified squash match. The heels got their stuff in, but it didn’t take long for a Coffin Drop and Blackout to end the match.

Alex Marvez interviewed Kris Statlander backstage, but before she could talk she was attacked with Reba's crutch by the AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker. Baker hit her a few times before putting her in the Lockjaw as AEW personnel attempted to rip her off of her All Out challenger.

Next week's card:

The Pinnacle (Wardlow & Spears) vs. Eddie Kingston & Santana

Varsity Blondes def. Will Hobbs & Jacob Fatu

Luchasaurus def. Matt Hardy

Britt Baker DMD & Serena Deeb vs. Kris Statlander & Thunder Rosa

Hangman Adam Page vs. Matt Jackson

6. Hangman Page & The Dark Order (Uno/Grayson/Silver/Reynolds) def. The Elite (Omega/Jackson/Jackson/Anderson/Gallows) - In a match of pure hatred, the two teams went at it for over twenty minutes. Hangman was dressed accordingly, wearing green and purple along with his team. The Elite were not sweating the match, dancing to the ring and just being obnoxious. However, Hangman would get the pin after a Buckshot Lariat on Karl Anderson, giving the Dark Order and himself a huge win over a team of champions.

After the match, the Young Bucks gave Hangman a double superkick out of nowhere, leading a huge brawl between the ten men. The Dark Order would once again stand tall after the rest of the group (Ten, Five, Colt) sprinted to the ring wielding chairs. Hangman grabbed a microphone and said that he has found some REAL friends in the Dark Order, and at All Out, Kenny's time as AEW champion will be over.

AUGUST WEEK 4

The go-home show for AEW All Out 2021 was action-packed and noteworthy.

1. Matt Hardy def. Luchasaurus - In the opening contest, Matt Hardy defeated big man Luchasaurus in an overbooked chaotic mess. The Hardy Family Office and Jurassic Express and Christian constantly interfered and after Hardy's pin, another brawl broke out and the Hardy Family Office stood tall to end the segment.

A video package for Hangman Page vs. Kenny Omega aired, highlighting their long, storied journey to this point. Footage from NJPW was included, and articled their alliance within the Bullet Club, to the beginnings of AEW, to their AEW World Tag Team Championship run, to their breakup, to their current state.

Andrade El Idolo and Thea Trinidad were backstage. Trinidad cut a promo on Cody Rhodes, calling his patriotic promos archaic, and his position within AEW above his skill level. Brutal words.

2. Kris Statlander & Thunder Rosa def. Britt Baker DMD & Serena Deeb - The two champions fell to their challengers for this Saturday as Statlander pinned the AEW Women's World champion Britt Baker. A very even match throughout, with the matches at All Out gaining tons of heat.

Christian Cage was backstage with the Jurassic Express. Christian said that he will be more than happy to finally put an end to Matt Hardy. He respects his career, but he no longer respects the man.

Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky, the Men of the Year, were the focus of a fashion magazine-based video, modeling in front of what appeared to be A-list photographers. At the end, Page said they were in the Tag Team Casino Battle Royale, and after they win, their coming for the titles, meaning more money and more sponsors.

3. Will Hobbs & Jacob Fatu def. Varsity Blondes - A squash match mostly, with Fatu getting about 85% of the total offense. He was booked to look like a monster. Taz grabbed a microphone and said that was just happened to Pillman and Garrison will also happen to Brian Cage this Saturday.

Alex Marvez caught up with Britt Baker and Reba. Baker said that Statlander is DONE, and that she will pay for what she did to her face (a bloody nose). That stupid alien will be launched back to outer space.

PAC was backstage in the interview area. He said he told the Elite that he made some friends out of their enemies, and introduced "The Elite Hunter" Frankie Kazarian. Kazarian said that at All Out, the Good Brothers will be the first victims of this new alliance of the Bastard, and the Elite Hunter.

4. The Pinnacle (Wardlow & Shawn Spears) def. Eddie Kingston & Santana - The Pinnacle avenged their loss a couple weeks ago with a win over Kingston and Santana here, albeit due to interference from MJF. MJF ran in and decked Eddie in the mouth with the Dynamite Diamond Ring, allowing his big man to get the pinfall win. MJF then ordered his goons to put Eddie Kingston through a table that Spears pulled out from underneath the ring.

After the match, MJF grabbed a microphone and said to Kingston, "Eddie, as you lie there, hopefully as uncomfortable as you possibly can be, I want you to listen to me…", before he cut a promo on Eddie's background in the grimy parts of New York. He told Eddie he'd see him at All Out.

Sting, Darby Allin, Lance Archer and Jake Roberts were backstage with Alex Marvez. Jake Roberts said that Darby and Archer would be in the Casino Battle Royale, and that once they win, the Young Bucks and their belts are their next target. Sting said that he would take on "The Redeemer" Miro for the TNT Championship, and that he is well aware of what Miro is capable of. He is aware that his body isn't exactly 100%. But, while Miro insists on traveling alone, Sting has the power of Sting's Squadron behind him: the AEW fans.

Matt was the one always at Hangman's throat, and Hangman was able to give him his comeuppance. As expected, there was plenty of interference from the Elite and the Dark Order trying to stop said interference.

Kenny Omega and the rest of the Elite attacked Hangman after the match, fending off the Dark Order as Kenny gave his former teammate a One-Winged Angel, stepping on his chest and holding the AEW World title high in the air as the go-home show went off the air.
