I'm using GIMP 2.8 but I'm missing something (probably something simple) when it comes to this step: 3. Delete the contents of the "Greyscale" layer. With that layer still selected, colour in the red background of the image in black (the pen tool is the neatest way of doing this, but not always the quickest). This will turn the original background grey (or silver, if you prefer). For deleting the contents of the greyscale layer, do I need to select anything or do I just delete the whole layer? Cause ya know, they're both southerners and whatnot. And just stick Butch Hackett in a suit. (Preferably a tacky looking one) He's a commissioner, so he should have some style, right?
