Death of WCW Proudly Presents WCW Glycerine, Saturday, Week 2, October, 2001 Live from the HersheyPark Arena, Hershey, Pennsylvania Live on NBC He's Back Tony Schiavone: "Fans, welcome to WCW Glycerine. This is where the big boys play, listen to those pyrotechnics wail through this great arena here in Hershey Pennsylvania! Guys, what a show we have in store for you tonight." 'Mean' Gene Okerlund: "It should be a wonderful show that is for sure.." 'Living Legend' Larry Zbysko: "Hang on a second, what's that?" Tony Schiavone: "IT'S HIM! HE'S BACK!" The Undertaker is seen exiting from the front seat of his hearst, tightening his right glove as he enters the arena. Tonight! A graphic pops up highlighting that tonight, 'Sultan of Swing' Juventud Guerrera, WCW United States Champion Lance Storm and 'Phenomenal' Sean O'Haire will battle with 'The King of Bling Bling' Diamond Dallas Page, 'Black Stallion' Booker T and The Giant, in a spectacular six man main event! Tony Schiavone: "It's going to be a spectacular six man main event!" 'Mr Wrestling III' Jerry Lynn v WCW Tag Team Champion 'Prime Time' Elix Skipper What a ripping match to start off Glycerine, no truthfully, this one outdid so many other starting matches to WCW events. Lately we haven't quite had that killer edge in our opening cruiserweight matches to set the show alight, but truth be told, we did tonight. And what a great match... finally ended by the Cradle Piledriver! But let's not forget the fantastic Asai Moonsault from Elix Skipper, let alone the Corkscrew Plancha from Jerry Lynn on Skipper on the outside! [Your Winner: Via pinfall, Jerry Lynn Lady Problems
Backstage, Crowbar is walking towards the ring area with his WCW Hardcore Championship over his shoulder. Pamela Paulshock comes bouncing up behind him. "Come on baby, show 'em how to do it.." Crowbar stops in his tracks, and Pamela ditzily walks past. "I've been meaning to tell you something..." "What is it baby?" Crowbar shakes his head, as if he's scared to say something. "Baby?" Finally he snaps. "I'M NOT YOUR BABY! I don't love you... I don't even... like you. You're too straight laced. You're a .... bimbo." Crowbar storms off, leaving Pamela in a rage of tears backstage.
....
Jarrett is being treated to a royal hiding here, Crowbar is using his superior weaponry skill to his advantage, and it looks to be all over really. Pamela Paulshock comes to ringside, and is bawling all over the place. Crowbar is distracted... GUITAR TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! Suddenly Midajah races to ringside and pulls at the hair of Pamela, as Jarrett makes the cover... Your Winner: Via pinfall, and NEW WCW Hardcore Champion, Jeff Jarrett
...
"Whoa, super inflated slapnut. What's wrong with you?" "Can't you see," she says through the tears. "I'm still upset over what Crowbar did to me. I need a ... real man in my life." "Well you know, I am the Chosen One, and I have all the stroke around this place..." "You do?"
...
Backstage, Pamela Paulshock sees Midajah in the woman's showers. Our footage is... blocky, you know when you have a crims face on the box and they mess up his face so you can't see him or identify him. Similar to Midajah's good bits. Paulshock went in there and delivered a hellacious slap to the side of her jaw, and before you knew it, it was on the shower room! Pamela's white shirt was getting ultra wet, and uh-huh, you better believe it, that part wasn't masked. Yum yum come get some!
Tony Schiavone: "Well guys, isn't it fair to say there's some tension in the air?" 'Mean' Gene Okerlund: "There's something in the air, that is for sure." 'Living Legend' Larry Zbysko: "I think we need more shower scenes Tony!" The Outsiders v The Backseat Boys Well, the Backseat Boyz were on a hiding to nothing. And it really showed. It was like watching a bunch of young punks against a very experienced combination, Backseat Boyz took the fight to them with a high energy, high octane offence, but eventually their offence slipped up as Scott Hall played possum as Johnny Kashmere launched a frog splash... Hall picked him up... Outsiders Edge! Your Winners: Via pinfall, the Outsiders You're a Dead Man We cut to a vignette, where we see the face of Sting, then we cut straight to a hospital scene where a man lays in a bed, with a drip in him, and the heart monitor zipping away. It's all in a light white scene, no colour. Bip....Bip....Bip....Bip....Bip....Bip....Bip....Bip Suddenly, from nowhere it starts to flatline. As doctors rush in, we cut back to Sting, who burns a scarecrow in a dry desert corn field with Goldberg's head as the head of the scarecrow. The following words in red blood appear on the screen...
Usually, you don't know when death will strike. Usually. You're a dead man!
D.I.C.K v The Anarchists Two very different groups of people fighting valiantly in this one. Both have been on somewhat of a downward curve, and desperately they are seeking to address that slump. You can sense the desperation, the furloin attempts to salvage their careers. The tension was high even though there was no real rivalry between the two teams. Surprisignly, the man who made the successful play was Disco Inferno, with a Chart Buster on Tommy Dreamer for the pinfall. Your Winners: Via pinfall, D.I.C.K Mike Awesome v Billy Kidman Two young athletes with so much time on their side, so much potential. Both have been at teams miserably booked by the predecessors, and admittedly, at times you'd have to wonder whether this group has got it right either. But this was their chance at redemption, this was their chance to prove they could both go higher than a World Tag Team reign or two. Mike Awesome was run off his feet, by Billy Kidman's exuberance and eppervesence. But inevitably, it was all too little, as the powerhouse recovered, catching a split legged moonsault in mid air... AWESOME BOMB! It came from nowhere! Your Winner: Via pinfall, Mike Awesome That's NOT Awesome dude Post match, Mike Awesome carried in a fireman's carry the near lifeless body of Billy Kidman up the aisle. Tony Schiavone: "What is the meaning of this?" He took him up near the Glycerine set entrance... what the... NO! Tony Schiavone: "What the... NO!" He just AWESOME BOMBED him through the stage! He's gone clean through the stage! Awesome's smiling, he's looking above, what a dark move by the lynchpin of the Army of Darkness. Too Late From behind the curtain comes Vader, he's horrified at what he's just seen! Awesome sees Vader and immediately turns and runs around him to get out of there. Vader calls for the EMT's to hurry, and get some assistance to Billy Kidman as we cut to a break. Hardcore Evolution pairing of Rhino and 'The King of Old School' Steve Corino v The Perfect Event One very established tag team, a former dominating team of the tag team division, again another team on the slippery slide. It's unfathomable really, you have a second generation son of a former WWWF Champion, and a man with an impeccable build on the slippery slopes. Aside from Sean O'Haire, none of the Thrillers are dominating these days are they? Where the heck is Reno? Reno, what a joke. An average match I guess it's fair to say, the crowd weren't overly pumped, although they had a bit of heat for the Evolution, who won, courtesy of Shawn Stasiak copping... the GORRRRREEEEE! Your Winners: Via pinfall, Hardcore Evolution Who can stop the movement? Post match, the arena lights dim, as Mick Foley steps between the ropes to congratulate his wrestlers. He snatches the microphone from David Penzer. "The Hardcore Evolution continues to burn on," he says emphatically. "It continues to redefine the scope of professional wrestling. It continues to push the boundaries. And with the addition of this great man, indeed, the King of Old School, from a time where a red mask meant honor and prestige, where being knocked out felt savage yet scintillating, there will be no stopping the Hardcore Evolution. For all those doubters, one thing you can sure of is you will NOT... HAVE... A...NICE...DAY!" Foley grins revealing his chomped at ear lobe, before escorting his men to the back. Baddest Mother... Tony Schiavone: "You know guys, one man who has completely taken advantage of his opportunities here in World Championship Wrestling is a young man by the name of Samoa Joe." 'Mean' Gene Okerlund: "The Samoan Submission Machine is fast becoming the cement of this company, a man you cannot crack. He is all powerful, he is almighty, he is dominating the Television Championship like few others. Indeed some are beginning to compare him to one of the great Television Champions of all time, Arn Anderson." 'Living Legend' Larry Zbysko: "You know when you step into the ring with this man, there's a chance you might never walk out. To me, that says a lot about how skilled a submission artist this man really is." Tony Schiavone: "That music can only mean one thing, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes is here with his champion!" WCW Television Championship 'Samoan Submission Machine' Samoa Joe (c) v Crowbar The former Hardcore Champion actually fought blow for blow with Samoa Joe, a rare things these days as Samoa Joe has taken all before in a glittering exchance of power and submission, a rare but precocious combination. The Hardcore Champion himself, 'Chosen One' Jeff Jarrett came to the top of the stage, holding the Hardcore Championship over his shoulder, and smiling arrogantly. This was enough to distract Crowbar, who fell prey to the Rear Naked Choke Hold!!! That's it!!! Your Winner: Via submission, and STILL WCW Television Champion, Samoa Joe Choke on that Post match, 'Chosen One' Jeff Jarrett made his way down to ringside along with his trusty six stringer. He posed for the crowd, who ate it up, clearly in support of the Tennessee native. He went and stood over the fallen and quivering body of Crowbar. "Listen up, slapnut! I came down here tonight to gauge my opposition for Halloween Havoc. And I can't say I was too impressed Crowbar. You see, you gave up a shot at gold for a piece of me. A man who was not even competing in the match. Now I don't know if your daddy ever told you like mine told me, but that's hella stupid from where I come from. Take a look at this..." He holds the belt to his lifeless face. "See what it says on there? Jeff Jarrett.. That's J...A...Double R...E....Double T. And that's the ways it's going to stay. Because I'm not going to drop my eye off the prize. You got that? What? Of course you do. Because I am the chosen one, and I have all the stroke around this place, so choke on that, SLAPNUT!" WOOOOOOO!!!! Backstage, 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair, the President of WCW catches up backstage with 'Sultan of Swing' Juventud Guerrera, who is pacing the back alley ways, looking for whatever he can get his hands on to to throw to relieve some tension. "WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Well, if it's not the Sultan of Swing himself, Juventud Guerrera..." "Holmes, esse, I'm sick and tired seniore, sick and tired of seeing my amigo Rey Mysterio Jr abducted like he is, esse. I'm going to do something about it tonight, holmes, I don't care what I have to do, I'm going to find him esse." "Calm down for a second." "Calm down esse? That's my amigo.." "I know that, but do you honestly think running in there like John Wayne is going to resolve the situation? No, you see, whomever has done what he has done is cold, he's calculating, he's manipulative. You don't think he's back watching Glycerine? Hell baby, who the hell isn't watching Glycerine? WOOOOOOO!!! The pope would be watching I'm telling ya. You see, I didn't become a 16 time World Heavyweight Champion for nothing Juventud, no, I had to wait for when it was my time, and when it was, I struck. And similarly, you can't just go ahead and attack something you don't know about. You assume it's Booker T, and I think it's probably logical given the recent problems he has had with Rey Mysterio Jr over the World Heavyweight Championship. Sooner or later that man will slip up, and when he has... Diamonds are forever, and so is Juventud Guerrera. Now what do you , WOOOOOO, say to that?" Juventud looks still a bit frazzled, as he shakes the right hand of Ric Flair. The Undertaker on his way Pretty self explanatory really, except the crowd marked out like a bunch of marthafarkers. Golddust v The Undertaker Where would you rather be mate? Here, or in a Shattered Dreams production? Big Poppa Pump was with the commentary team, and he had a few choice words to say about the Undertaker, predicting that he might not be good enough to beat Golddust here tonight. That Golddust was a better wrestler, in better shape, and that the scars of the burns to the Undertaker's body would waiver him, because he was no genetic freak, he was not freakzilla, and he was not the big bad booty daddy like Big Poppa Pump. But he was wrong... very wrong, and when the Undertaker hit the Tombstone Piledriver, Big Poppa Pump looked on shocked with his jaw wide open. Your Winner: Via pinfall, the Undertaker I will still kick your as$! Post match, 'The Genetic Freak' took a microphone from ringside. "You know something? I don't sweat you Undertaker! You see, you're a coward. You're nothing but white trash. You are nothing compared to the white thunder of the big bad booty daddy. Of the selection of perfection himself, the Genetic Freak, Big Poppa Pump. You see, to all these hootchies out here, and to all my freaks in the back, I am and always will be their hook up. You, I'm not scared of you because you're gutless, you're a coward, and you're second rate to the immortal Big Bad Booty Daddy... Holla... If yo.." Suddenly the Undertaker began to pace towards him, and fell over the top rope. The Genetic Freak dropped the microphone and stormed through the crowd, as the Undertaker looked on, merely going to the announce table to grab his fabled round brimmed hat to walk off. 'Positively' Chris Kanyon v WCW Cruiserweight Champion, Lord Charles Helms II, Esquire The entire crew were thrilled with this match, as Helms brought his A-Game to the party. The Cruiserweight Champion did not at all appeared to be awed to step into the same ring as the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion, a man many predict will soon grace that zone again as the undisputed, coveted Champion of the wrestling world. We decided to get Charles Helms to take everything he had to the ring, deliver a fresh set of crisp cruiserweight drops, a number of planchas, a number of moonsaults, even a tornado DDT. Kanyon responded by going up tempo too, taking Charles Helms down with a superplex off the top rope. The match rolled on relentlessly, and as both men stood to the right side of the ring slogging out right punches, 'Mr Wrestling III' Jerry Lynn raced to the ring and pulled on the right boot of the Cruiserweight Champion... KANYON CUTTER! Your Winner: Via pinfall, Chris Kanyon The Invasion march On his way to the ring this time, the lynchpin of the Four Horsemen himself, Goldberg, but this time he appeared anxious as he perused the rafters above to see if Sting was to be sighted. He was not. Goldberg v Randy Orton Orton, a third generation wrestler is another fast improver in World Championship Wrestling. Some dispute he is ready for this, but everytime he has been thrown to the lions den he has come up trumps. We have talked previously at the Power Plant about restricting some of his rest holds, and to his credit, he has livened up his offence. And this has allowed him to keep very competitive with some of the top stars of this promotion, and indeed you could say top stars of the entire wrestling world. But when you speak top stars, you speak of none other than Goldberg. And for a reason. Because he is that damn good.... Spear... Jackhammer. Wow. Your Winner: Via pinfall, Goldberg Time is ticking We fade to a vignette, where 'New Generation' Rey Mysterio Jr is hanging by his hands to a rope in a dark, dingey dungeon. A murky voice plays over, as we hear crows roar in the background. "Some have asked, is Rey getting the proper treatment? Are we keeping his hygeine levels up." We look above to a cauldron, where a bar of soap is dropped into the cauldron. The water is so spritely and hot the soap melts and dissolves. All of a sudden, the cauldron is uncoiled, and tips over Rey Mysterio Jr! We hear him squeal in agony. The pain must be tremendous. "I guess you could say we are, brother. But what you could also say is this, the time is ticking. Whatcha gonna do brother, whatcha gonna do when a World Heavyweight Champion... gets.... killed.... before... you." Six Man Tag Match 'The King of Bling Bling' Diamond Dallas Page, 'Black Stallion' Booker T and The Giant v 'Phenomenal' Sean O'Haire, 'Sultan of Swing' Juventud Guerrera and WCW United States Champion Six great competitors, one great main event, welcome to Glycerine. Welcome indeed to where the big boys play. In fact, where the big boys play against the little speedy men, the speedy gonzalez Juventud Guerrera incredibly over here. It's amazing to see how you can get a 7'0" collosus in the ring with a tiny guy like Guerrera and get them to sell you a story. All in all, the David versus Goliath mentality of big man wrestling has been around for decades, but has been so poorly used. Here, Juventud ran for his life to keep away from the clubbing blows of the Giant, but inevitably, he ran out of direction. He squeezed between his legs and tagged in O'Haire. His physique, his power, his presence was still not enough to over power the Giant, who used his reserves of immense power to overcome O'Haire. Soon enough, the referee had lost control, and allowed this to basically become a tornado tag match, where seemingly anyone who was anyone was legal. This catered for some great spots, but also the referee was distracted from making a cover from Storm on DDP when a Super Kick was launched. The Giant came back in for the save... clothesline from O'Haire, and over the top he goes... Booker back in... drop kick from Juvi! Out to the floor he goes. DDP up, clutching at the ropes... SUPER KICK! His jaw went wailing back, and he flipped right over the top rope, caught luckily by the Giant! The three men looked staggered, and complained to the referee about... hair pulling? With their complaints lodged, they headed to the back, refusing to get back in the ring. What a sham! Your Winners: Via count out, Juventud Guerrera, Lance Storm and Sean O'Haire World Championship Wrestling on top tonight! Post match, O'Haire, Storm and Guerrera motioned for them to return, before realising they would not, and then begun to celebrate for the crowd, as Glycerine went off the air! Oii Nice show there. I may be alone in this, probably will be... but I think Undertaker as American Bad Ass would fit WCW then his 'Taker gimmick. You write it nicely, but it seems out of place somehow. And another thing...if Hulk Hogan abducted Rey Mystereo, then Rey Rey better kick his ass from here to VH1 and back. Oh, and when is Starrcade about? Ready for the cheap plug? Are you ready ... RIGHT HERE IN THE DEATH OF WCW? *Thumbs up and smile* Well then, EVERYONE go check out my dynasty WWE Monopoly. Why? BECAUSE I SAID SO, THAT'S WHY! :D

Best line of the night: 'Living Legend' Larry Zbysko: "I think we need more shower scenes Tony!" I have to be honest man, I hope it's just a play on words, because if it is really Hogan I'll be disappointed. Of course I suppose if he had a group of "followers" who were bad ass that might be ok. Either way this was a great show man and the storylines are still fantastic, keep it up.

To me, it was the sort of gimmick you'd use to depush him, make him appear as comic relief type as the APA. That to me wasn't him. He's not like them, the type of blokes you want to push and then face a big rival, and have him job out to make them look credible. I dunno, just never really liked it. I grew up with the real Undertaker, a bloke when you were a kid you thought was legit. The harley riding bandana wearing old man didn't work so well to me. Starrcade comes at the end of the year dawg, we be in October now. Trust me on this one, when it happens... people will understand why I've done it the way I've done it. The only person in the wrestling world I will guarantee it is not is the Gobbeldy Gooker, and Frank Gotch, but that's only because he's not with us anymore. Everyone else, they're an option.
Heh, you know even I reckon I could powerbomb Kidman.
Yeah...if you wanted to get a HURRICANRANA~ I've only seen one guy powerbomb Kidman once he started wearing wifebeaters in WCW, and that was Road Warrior Animal. Hogan went for one and got the hurricanrana too. Needless to say, the world was SHOCKED~ ...at least the part of the world who watched. All 1000 of them. Also, whilst Midajah may have the better rack, I've totally got a thing for punk/goth chicks. It's totally unexplainable. Daphne still needs to come back. Nitro... Proudly Presents WCW Monday Nitro, Monday, Week 3, October, 2001 Live from the Fleet Center, Boston, Massachusetts Moments ago... We pan into a sold out Fleet Center, in the home city of everyone's favourite bar, where everybody knows your name... Cheers. That's right, Boston baby. We pan around the arena to show the general enthusiasm, with a lot of Sting, Rey Mysterio Jr and Undertaker banners held aloft. Tony Schiavone: "Fans welcome to Monday Nitro, where the big boys play. I'm Tony Schiavone and with me is 'Mean' Ge... SorrY?" Schiavone can be seen listening intently to his ear piece. "Guys, we've got developments out the back, I'm not too sure what is happening but we've got cameras back there now!" Out the back, the Four Horsemen are destroying people left right and centre out the back. Tony Schiavone: "That's Jatz Crackers, a Power Plant tag team getting missiled into the side of the production truck!!! Look, there's young Stan Cartman... KANYON CUTTER ON THE CONCRETE! This is disgraceful, what is going on. Oh my god, I think they just killed Stan." 'Living Legend' Larry Zbysko: "You mean Kenny?" Tony Schiavone: "Who? This is WCW Larry, this is where the big boys play, I've never heard of Kenny, but young Stan Cartman had all the attributes. He was big, he was strong, and he looked a man who'd stop at nothing to get here, now it appears to be over." 'Living Legend' Larry Zbysko: "They're b@stards!" 'Mean' Gene Okerlund: "That sleaze Arn Anderson is laughing, he of all people knows what it is like to suffer from major neck pain." Tony Schiavone: "Guys, Nitro is under attack from the Horsemen!" Why? The Four Horsemen finally stop beating up half the Power Plant job squad, and head into the perplexed doors at the back of the arena. They high five and back slap each other as they walk in. Stevie Ray grabs Goldberg, who is only too happy to stop for an interview. Stevie Ray: "Fruit booty, yak, suckas gots to know.." Goldberg: "Suckas don't GOTS to know anything Walker Cronkite. It should all be crystal clear by now. The Four Horsemen are here to be the elite of professional wrestling. Look at us, you have the largest powerhouse in the world of professional wrestling, the Giant, you have the most recent WCW World Heavyweight Champion, the Black Stallion himself, the most crowned wrestler of all time, Booker T, you have the Innovator of Offence, the man himself Positively Chris Kanyon, and then, you have me! That's right, a man who once went over 170 matches before losing, and even then, only due to outside interference beyond my control. Who am I? Goldberg! A man that Sting taunts, a man that Sting thinks can define. People think there are a lot of questions that Sting will be asking of me at Halloween Havoc. Well let me just tell you, there is really only one question. That is... WHOSE NEXT?" Goldberg sneers at Stevie Ray before storming off. 'The Next Big Thing' Brock Lesnar v Yoshihiro Tajiri A very big mis match in so many ways, although the crisp boots of Tajiri laid in some savage blows to the ribs, kidney area of Brock Lesnar. But it was never going to be enough to defy... the F-5! Your Winner: Via pinfall, Brock Lesnar Is that all you've got? Post match, Buff 'The Stuff' Bagwell appeared under the Turner Tron. He swaggered confidently in his red top hat, and posed for the crowd before turning to the camera and uttering... "That was pathetic!" He finally addressed the crowd after a bit more posing. "What the hell was that Brock? You were getting a rib kicking from a nobody. That's what the hell that was! And you think you can go with me? Ahahaha... Let me tell you, you're on. At Halloween Havoc, I will gladly take you on. That's how I roll, beautiful by day, vicious by night. Man I'm good! Well obviously, because I'm Buff.. and I'm the Stuff.. And you're NOT!" Buff smiles with his picture perfect smile before walking to the back, with a clearly angered Brock Lesnar striding after him up the ramp. Roll with us? Backstage, D.I.C.K, 'Franchise' Shane Douglas and Disco Inferno catch up with Excellence in Execution, 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels and 'The Real Deal' AJ Styles. "Ahahaha... if it's not Excellence in Execution." "Groovy." Daniels and Styles stand up, unimpressed. "Listen guys, this is going to get your groove thang on. Jive to this homies. You see, recently, D.I.C.K has kind of appeared like a two man band. We've got me, the King Mullet in the Purple Helmet, and the Franchise. What do you say about joining up to D.I.C.K. We can have you as a separate army, we were thinking Group of Avenging Youths. What do you think, players?" Daniels and Styles look at each other. "Group of Avenging Youths?" Daniels asks. "Groovy huh? Look.. we've got the purple helmet... we've got you these..." They hand them two boxes each of ribbed condoms. "What the hell is this?" Daniels says, staggered. "Ribbed condoms. For extra traction in the mud players. You see, Group of Avenging Youths... Or... G.A.Y." Daniels and Styles move menacingly towards the cornered pairing of D.I.C.K. "Let me tell you something," Daniels begins. "We are not D.I.C.K. lovers, we will never bow down on our knees to you as leaders of D.I.C.K. I've got a better idea, why don't you shine up those pretty purple helmets of yours, and get ready... because tonight, if you're game... it'll be D.I.C.K against.." "Group of Avenging Youths?" Styles asks. "NO, you idiot! Excellence in Execution." "But I really liked Group of Avenging Youths.." "I bet you did." "Fine, you're on... prepared to get your A$$E$... hahahaha... FRANCHISED!" Patient? Be Patient? Backstage, 'Sultan of Swing' Juventud Guerrera hares into the Presidential Oval Office suite of one 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair. "WOOOOO!!!" Flair says as he sits behind his oak desk. "WOOOO? WOOOO? WOOOO? Are you out of your mind, holmes? Out the back some of the best Power Plant talents were just sent to early retirements by the Four Horsemen, and you can sit back and WOOOO? Somewhere, the WCW World Heavyweight Champion 'New Generation' Rey Mysterio Jr, esse, is in the world of hurt. And yet we can't help him, and you go WOOOO?" "Calm down Juvi.." "Calm down? CALM DOWN? CALM DOWN? I guess you didn't get the memo holmes - WCW under siege. And you expect me to calm down? Hell, last week you said for me to be.. patient. Something makes me wonder esse, are you really on our side? Or do you have something to do with Rey Mysterio Jr's disappearance?" Ric Flair stands up and shakes his head. "You know, they call me slick Ric, 'm a stylin', profilin', limousine-ridin', jet-flyin', kiss-stealin', wheeler-dealin', son of a gun, who's kissed all the girls and made them cry. They also call me the dirtiest player in the game. But nothing has ever been more offensive to me than what you just said right then, pal. Nothing." "Well esse, stand up and take control if you truly are defending World Championship Wrestling too, holmes." "WOOOOO!! Now that right there is a good idea. Diamonds are forever, and so is WCW... I'll tell you what, I've got an announcement for tonight that I think you're going to enjoy. WOOOOO!!" "WOOOO!!" "WOOOO!!" "WOOOO!!" "Only man woos his head off Juventud, as much as I respect you, I am the Nature Boy, don't forget that. The dirtiest player in the game, as I'll prove again tonight." D.I.C.K v Excellence in Execution Two very big rivals in the tag domain, two battlers in many respects, but both on the verge of becoming a very serious threat for the tag team titles. To consolidate their positions in the race to meet the All Starz at Halloween Havoc, it was pivotal to come out on top. A major upset occured here when Disco Inferno got distracted, and allowed himself to suffer an inside cradle...1...2...3! Your Winners: Via pinfall, Excellence in Execution WOOOOOOOO!!! After the ring was cleared, the familiar music was heard, and 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair came down to the ring, much to the applause of this sold out Boston crowd in the old Garden. He struts in the ring, before dropping his jacket, and performing a patented knee drop on it. He flicks back his hair, before a young lady laughs at him from ringside. "Three words honey: All night long. WOOOOOOOOOO!!! Space mountain may be the oldest ride in the park, but it still has the longest line. Remember, you can't be first, but you can be next. Did some..WOOO..body tell me we were in ..BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS! BY GOD! It feels great to be back here in the Garden. Now, earlier tonight the Four Horsemen got... dirty. They launch a full scale attack on some innocent rookies, just to prove a point. That's fine, that's professional wrestling and if you can't handle the heat, you shouldn't be in this ring. But, WOOO, someone forget something. I am the ... dirtiest...player in the game. So tonight, I've got a surprise for Positively Chris Kanyon, a man who has ran his mouth long and hard lately. You see, I too think the Four Horsemen, and particularly the Black Stallion Booker T had something to do with the mysterious, deceitful disappearance of the World Heavyweight Champion, Rey Mysterio Jr. So tonight, Chris Kanyon will go one on one with... Juventud Guerrera. What is on the line here? Well, let me tell you, Juventud Guerrera and Rey Mysterio are like blood brothers. They're that close. Great rivals, closer friends. If Chris Kanyon beats Juventud Guerrera, he will stop the Sultan of Swing from being granted leave for the next two weeks in order to investigate and locate Rey Mysterio Jr. If Chris Kanyon wins, he gets a shot at the United States Championship.. on FIRE. So let me tell you all..." A rude interruption Just then 'Positively' Chris Kanyon comes out underneath the Turner Tron. "I have two things to say to you Ric Flair, you old bag of sh!t. Firstly, if you think you're the dirtiest player in the game, let's just say you ain't seen nothing yet. And secondly, you just signed Juventud Guerrera's death warrant. Why? Because.. WHO BETTER DAN KANYON? NOBODY!" Flair shakes his head as Kanyon puts his point across. WCW Television Championship 'Samoan Submission Machine' Samoa Joe (c) v Low Ki God no, I begs not to be next. That was brutal. Your Winner: Via submission, and STILL WCW Television Champion, Samoa Joe The Undertaker cometh Tony Schiavone: "He's here!" 'Mean' Gene Okerlund: "That will even the odds up a bit." Tony Schiavone: "The Undertaker is here, to fight Judas Jindrak, tonight on Nitro!" WCW Tag Team Championships The All Starz (c) v 'Above Average' Mike Sanders and 'The Animal' Dave Bautista A good, compeititive title defence, surprisingly enough, the Champions were pushed quite hard. Enter Rhino, enter a steel chair to the back of the skull of Bautista, with the referee unaware. And then enter a pinfall. CM Punk did not see the interference... Your Winners: Via pinfall, and STILL WCW World Tag Team Champions, the All Starz Goldberg and the Giant v the Backseat Boyz This was here for one purpose, serve to show the power of both the Giant and Goldberg at all expense. And that, it did. Spear, Jackhammer, splat. Your Winners: Via pinfall, Goldberg and the Giant That's how a real man does it! Post match, the Giant chokeslammed both Johnny Kashmere and Trent Acid, before snatching the microphone from David Penzer. "You see that Sean O'Haire? That's how a real man does it! That's what you're messing with, you're messing with the largest athlete in the world, a man who could bench press you as a warm up. Get the message, and get it quick, two of us will walk to the ring at Halloween Havoc, one of us will never... never... wrestle... AGAIN!" He raises his arm in a chokeslamming motion again. Get ready honey We enter the dressing room of the WCW United States Champion, as his sexy valet and fiancee Torrie Wilson approaches. She is wearing a silky neglige`. "Come on Lance, get the title defence done. And then you can show me a few... pointers... on being a United States Champion. If you know what I mean." Storm is deep in focus, staring at the gorgeous rear of Torrie Wilson as she bends over. "If I may be serious for a minute, tonight, it's all about that. Because I'm from Calgary...Alberta...Canada." He stands up, and he stands up, we see he was staring at the WCW United States Championship all along. WCW United States Championship Lance Storm (c) v Randy Orton And joining us in commentary is the King of Bling Bling, Diamond Dallas Page, who had shall we say a few disparaging remarks to make about the Champion. But the Champion was too involved in the match to pay any attention, instead working perhaps the best match of Randy Orton's short career. This one blew the roof of the Garden clear off. Finally, after Orton started to mount a comeback, he stopped to pose for one second... allowing Storm the time to drum up... THE SUPERKICK! Your Winner: Via pinfall, and STILL WCW United States Champion, Lance Storm You won't get that chance with me Post match, as Storm headed up the aisle, Diamond Dallas Page took a microphone at the commentary position. "Yo, you love me, you hate me, but one thing's for sure, you'll never forget me. Lance Storm, you said you were focussed on the title tonight, well if this rookie here had have been focussed on you, you'd be going home a loser. Make no mistake, you're dealing with the ultimate professional here. I study video tapes of my opponents like you study the stitching in the Canadian flag. Let me make one thing clear, you give me that opportunity to get on top, I won't turn around to pose... no... you see, you won't see it coming, you won't know it's coming... Bada-bing, bada-boom... BADA-BANG! FEEL...THE...BANG!" 'The Black Stallion' Booker T v 'Mr Wrestling III' Jerry Lynn Holy toledo Batman, another match to blow the roof off! I was genuinely impressed by the chemistry Booker T and Jerry Lynn had, it was scintillating. They gelled so well. I guess being such old school veteran professionalsl ike they are, you would expect nothing less, and so it was confidently booked that this slot would deliver for the capacity crowd. And deliver it did, as Jerry Lynn really sharpened up his offence to try and upset the rythym of the most coveted wrestler in WCW history. And it worked very well, but the more he charged it up, so did Booker T, and eventually both men were out on their feet, but somehow finding the second wind necessary to connect with many big moves, and many near falls. Jerry Lynn looked for a Cradle Piledriver, but Booker T reversed it... CRADLE PILEDRIVER FROM BOOKER! Your Winner: Via pinfall, Booker T Don't hate the playa Post match, Booker T was given the microphone by David Penzer, after he gave the crowd his patented spin-erooni. "Let me speak on dis. You know, Juventud Guerrera has been out there running his mouth that he thinks that me, the Black Stallion, Booker T am responsible for the disappearance of Rey Mysterio Jr. It's true, I have a few good reasons to want to take out Rey Mysterio Jr. But what did tonight just prove playa? I don't need to do that to take a man out, look at this man still convulsing in the ring. I'm the most crowned WCW Champion of all time, playa. You better watch yourself playa... and remember the ultimate lesson. Don't hate the playa, HATE THE GAME!" Booker T throws the microphone to the ground, as the pyros roar in the background. The Undertaker v Judas Jindrak Surprisingly, this match did not hit the same peaks as the previous two matches. Lately, due to the Undertaker's incredible popularity, we could have asked him to wrestle with Sponge Bob Square Pants or pant pictures of men dropping the soap with theoutlaw321 and expected to get a high rating. But not here, whilst it was good, it wasn't perfect, Jindrak just did not perform that well tonight. Thankfully, one move still made an impact... Your Winner: Via pinfall, the Undertaker Is that all he has? Backstage, 'The Genetic Freak' Big Poppa Pump is watching the match on a monitor with his manager, Eric Bischoff. "What a chump, is that all he has? I am the Big Bad Booty Daddy, I'm the Genetic Freak, he better bring more than that if he wants to get out of Halloween Havoc alive." "Man I like that.." "You like that? How about this... Holla, if you hear me!" "That's money, and that's my language Scotty!" 'Phenomenal' Sean O'Haire and 'Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels v Vader and Mike Awesome A real odd ball combination Vader and Awesome, and you could sense their lack of trust together. It was very obvious. Every tag was made with regret, with deep remorse. Each time their partner got a pounding, it was almost as if they enjoyed it, almost as if they resented having to get into the ring together to save each other's bacon. And eventually it broke down altogether, allowing Michaels to snap SWEET CHIN MUSIC on the skull of Vader! Your Winners: Via pinfall, Sean O'Haire and Shawn Michaels The shoulder shrug Post match, Vader looked out to the ring floor area, to find Mike Awesome laughing, merely shrugging his shoulders in a fake apologetic manner. 'Positively' Chris Kanyon v 'Sultan of Swing' Juventud Guerrera Sadly, the major surprise of the night was this - Kanyon and Guerrera do not connect. And we booked them in a 14 minute match, to try and over how competitive the main event is in WCW. To showcase perhaps two of the most extraordinarily creative athletes in the business going toe to toe. Due to the drop in chemistry, the less said the better. Whilst each had some very bright moments, their ability to construct a match together just was not there, and their timing together was out. Whilst it was a disappointment, it was not a complete abject failure, and the crowd were still treated to a main event far superior to the recent nonsense showcased by our 'friends' at Titan Towers. Finally, both men went to the outside to escape the officialdom of Mickey Jay. And before long, both men were using the ring post as a way to give each other a blood mask. Both men were delerious, groggy, suffering. And they had lost their marbles. These two are synonomous with that, losing vision, losing focus, losing their nut. The danger in their fighting outside completely blocked them off from the hapless counting of Mickey Jay. Your Winner: Draw, due to double count out Hanging by a thread As Nitro closed off, we got yet another mysterious vignette. This time the WCW World Heavyweight Champion was still hanging with his hands tied by a single rope, a rope that appeared to be wearing thin. The camera angle panned below, and showed a sheer drop of at least 30 metres straight into a concrete slab. Was time ticking for the champion? Genuine fear and shock went through the arena as an indifferent Nitro went off the air. Rating: A Attendance: 10,000 TV Ratings - Nitro: 2,804,661 TV Ratings - RAW is WAR: 1,159,247 RAW is WAR was a C+ rated show from the Onadanga War Memorial. It was quite frankly a disgraceful show in front of 5,237. It was almost as if they just don't care anymore. The best match was the Hardy Boyz defeating Gettin Rowdy. The second last match was Perry Saturn beating Bull Buchanan and Stevie Richards, and the main event was an appalling D-Von Dudley and X-Pac combination defeating the Holly Cousins. The following wrestlers did not appear in matches on RAW is WAR; Kurt Angle - WWF Champion 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin The Rock 'The Game' Triple H Chris Benoit 'Y2J' Chris Jericho Raven Kane Eddie Guerrero Edge Christian Dean Malenko

Does it ever become too easy to knock out another A rated show? Looking at some of the names that the 'F leaves out of their main shows, it's no surprise that you're trouncing them: doubling their ratings easily. Credit where it's due though, you've created stars; Kanyon's a Main Event player, Juventud Guerrera is a draw and people want to see "Phenominal" Sean O'Haire. And Rey Misterio Jr is a viable WCW World Heavyweight Champion. (Incidentally, I was watching Summerslam with my mates and I said it was good to see him back after the kidnapping and everything. They asked me what in the blue hell I was talking about.) I think though, the biggest credit to your excellent writing, which still has me gripped is the flood of new WCW Diaries appearing on the board. I don't think there's one diary writer who hasn't paid credit to you, and you can see even in the direction of some of them that they're trying to build on Tristram's "Guide to Success with WCW". Can I ask, will there be a 60 man World War 3 match this year? And if so, what will the prize be? I always found it strange that the winner got a February/March title shot after a November PPV win. Surely the winner should get the shot at Starrcade? So yeah, to summarise, another excellent show, keep up the awesome work!

Some of them have monumentally improved, and that's where I've gone largely. So the show rating doesn't overly affect me, more the growth in the talent. Heh, I laughed when I heard your SummerSlam comment. That's a good one. ;) I am thrilled people take time to credit me in their diaries, but I'm more thrilled to see the growth of WCW diaries. There's a few relatively new ones out there, Jman's WCW Rise of the Phoenix, marchhaires Starrcade and beyond, .SVA's new one... I think myself and outlaw321 mark out hard for WCW action, we miss it badly, and this gives us some sort of recourse as to what it could have, should have and in a perfect world would still be like. There's some excellent WCW storytellers out there at the moment, fo shore. I won't be running the 60 man over the top rope match, to me, the Battle Royal was always a take off of the WWF, and I never really liked the event. My roster isn't 60 full for a start, and I really don't like the 3 rings they had for that match, it made it looked disjointed and amateurish. Never fear, I do have something up my sleave for World War III. Thanks once again for the support for shore.
Great show man. Really liked the opening.
Thanks mate, glad you liked the opening, I was kinda searching for a way to sell the Horsemen as a complete wrecking unit, and I just loved adding in the off the cuff South Park comments as a tribute to my boys down there in Colorado. Keep it real homies, just kicking it in the crib is all y'all.
