Preview for LSW Sundown Showdown 2020

Chip Martin, The Oklahomans (Jason Patterson, Jules Night) vs Prime Time Jack Pryde, Jay Silver, Jerry Pepper
In what should be one of the midcard matches, there’s room for promotion's youngsters in a three versus three match. Prime Time Jack Pryde has twice defeated Chip Martin in singles action thanks to his dirty tactics, but their rivalry is now joined by The Oklahomans on the "NextGen" side and New Mexico rookies Jay Silver and Jerry Pepper on the "Prime Time" side. Who will win this multi-man match?

EBK (Bullseye, Waylon Walls) vs Heartbreak Express (Johnny Needham, Ralph Liotta) in a No. 1 Contenders’ match
Between tag team and singles action, EBK - Everybody Killaz - and The Heartbreak Express are still quite tied in their rivalry. Bullseye and Waylon Walls are street thugs from their hood, always starving and always angry as life has taught them, while Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta are two bubbly good-looking babyfaces with a life background completely different from their opponents. There is not only a healthy sense of competitiveness, but a cultural clash between the two duos. These tag teams didn’t like each other from day one here in Lone Star Wrestling, now it’s finally time to see who will be able to overtake the other team once and for all, putting themselves ahead of the other in the rankings. Indeed, with a victory here one of these duos would end up ahead of anyone else in the hierarchies, as owner RDJ has decided that the victorious tag team will be the next contender to The Big Guns for the Tag Team title straps.

Rob Reynolds vs Tennessee William
Tennessee William in the previous months sided several times with his friend Left Shot Bradford in the rivalry against Joffy Laine, while Rob Reynolds took the side of "The Jackhammer" not liking at all those two dirty heels and their two-on-one beatdowns. In a tag team match between these four wrestlers at LSW No Way Out of the Cage, however, Rob Reynolds came off badly, finishing defeated after Bradford's Dream Left Hook. Determined to making up for the loss and shutting Tennessee William's loud mouth, "The Real Deal" demanded and got a one versus one bout against the blues musician.

Also, it has been announced that we will hear it from Rayne Man, the veteran babyface who walked out on the losing end from the Cage match against Renegade Bradley Blaze. Rayne Man will make an appearance on the show to talk about his future.

Cali Slick vs Ernest Youngman
With winner Big Hustle who got a big opportunity in the main event, Cali Slick and Ernest Youngman are set to collide in singles action. It all started at LSW No Place for Old Men 2020 back in March when, during a tag team match, Cali Slick stole the tag from Ernest Youngman. From then on, things go south for the heel duo, as “The Assassin” confronted Cali Slick and pushed him away, forfaiting the bout and leaving Cali Slick alone and outnumbered. Cali Slick paid back Ernest Youngman at LSW Unchained in April, interfering in his match against Big Hustle and causing a No Contest as he beat down “The Assassin” - and Big Hustle. Now, both furious with each other and burned by defeat in the three way match, Ernest Youngman and Cali Slick will compete in a rare heel versus heel match here in Lone Star Wrestling.

Joffy Laine vs Left Shot Bradford in a No Disqualification match
In the past few months there have been countless clashes between "The Jackhammer" and Left Shot, often ending in wild brawls that only added fuel to the fire. Joffy Laine managed to defeat his rival with a clean pinfall at LSW Unchained back in April, something that Left Shot Bradford has never been able to do so far, despite beating him down multiple times and sending him to sleep twice with his Dream Left Hook. It’s now time for Sundown Showdown between the two, and this time there will be no limits for the two wrestlers. Joffy Laine and Left Shot Bradford have accepted owner Ricky Dale Johnson's proposal to make their clash a No Disqualification match! We are in for a slobberknocker!

Renegade Bradley Blaze (c) vs Big Hustle for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title
The champ of the promotion recently overcame his hardest challenge, having won the Cage match against Rayne Man to make his defence number three of the LSW Texas Heavyweight champ. A milestone for sure in his career, there’s no time to rest for Renegade Bradley Blaze, as he is set to defend the title strap once again, this time against some BIG challenger. Straight out a win in a high-profile Three Way, Big Hustle has been rewarded with a championship match against “The Renegade”, and what a win this will be for the fan favourite heavyweight. Big Hustle said he is ready to demolish the champion, aware that he will probably also have to keep an eye on Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell, the henchmen of Renegade Bradley Blaze that could show up at ringside.

Key for Predictions:
Chip Martin, The Oklahomans (Jason Patterson, Jules Night) vs Prime Time Jack Pryde, Jay Silver, Jerry Pepper [1 Pts]

LSW Sundown Showdown 2020
Sunday, Week 2, June 2020
Held in West Texas Coliseum (Mid South) in front of 258 people
9,888 viewers on WrestleWorld

Chip Martin, The Oklahomans (Jason Patterson, Jules Night) vs Prime Time Jack Pryde, Jay Silver, Jerry Pepper
The first match on the card features six young wrestlers in three-on-three action. In a bout that doesn’t have much heat and low-tier wrestling, the babyface team take home the win after Chip Martin pins Jay Silver with a Super Kick. Johnny Martin does some good work at ringside, giving tips to his son and his partners, but also having some exchanges of words with the cocky Prime Time Jack Pryde. The announcing quality also lifts the match a bit. [21]

EBK (Bullseye, Waylon Walls) vs The Heartbreak Express (Johnny Needham, Ralph Liotta) in a No. 1 Contenders’ match
The stakes are high in this tag match, as there is both determination to overcome a tag of opponents with which one has clashed several times in recent months, and a chance to become the number one contenders to the LSW Tag Team Heavyweight titles held by The Big Guns. EBK start off very tough right away, overpowering The Heartbreak Express who enter the match a bit tentative. As time pass, however, Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta catch up with a test of character and good combined maneuvers, managing to triumph over EBK in eleven minutes after a The Score on Bullseye. The Heartbreak Express are the new number one contenders for the Tag Team championships here in Lone Star Wrestling, and it is even better for them to celebrate this chance achieved after a decisive victory over their rivals. [36]

Travis Century enters the squared circle with a microphone in his hands, accompanied by Texas Hangman and the new “disciple” Cobra. "The Preacher" officially welcomes "The Snake Man" to the ranks of his own faction, which is called The Strong Hand, in a clear biblical reference to the Lord. After a few minutes of preaching, The American Cobras interrupt Travis Century amid jubilation from the fans in attendance, with Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane, on behalf of everyone in the stands and backstage, praying - pun intended - Travis Century to shut the hell up. An altercation ensues, with "The Preacher" challenging The American Cobras to a tag team match right here, right now! As has already happened, after a few seconds a referee appears from backstage, clearly sent by Ricky Dale Johnson. The match is on! This angle gets the crowd hotter. [32]

Cobra, Texas Hangman vs The American Cobras (Marvel Malloy, Storm Spillane)
Texas Hangman starts the match strong and wrecks both Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane with ease, imposing his rhythm with hard shot and powerhouse moves. The American Cobras manage to turn things around by changing strategy, focusing on avoiding a direct clash with "The Hangman" and targeting his legs so as to slow him down. With a fair amount of success in this mission, Texas Hangman makes the tag to Cobra, who follows his partner's canvas, wrestling a very physical match. In a decent match, after about ten minutes a lethal combo by Malloy and Spillane puts "The Snake Man" in trouble, Texas Hangman tries to get back in but a double Dropkick by The American Cobras fends him off and "The Hangman" ends up off the apron, failing to get back in time on the squared circle to prevent Cobra from tapping out to Storm Spillane's Kneeling Boston Crab. [41]

Rob Reynolds vs Tennessee William
The one-on-one between “The Real Deal” and the blues musician proves that the two competitors have pretty good chemistry when fighting each other, as the bout sees good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd. Tennessee William has to suffer lots of stiff kicks by Rob Reynolds, who showcases his background in mixed martial arts. However, using his skills and his brain, the blues musician successfully manages to channel the match in the way he wants, defeating Rob Reynolds in around eleven minutes by pinfall after his Devil’s Crossroad. Another important W for Tennesee William who has been one of the best wrestlers here in Lone Star Wrestling so far. [52]

Backstage, owner Ricky Dale Johnson crosses paths with Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta and congratulates them on becoming the new number one contenders at the LSW Tag Team Heavyweight titles. After a few moments, champions Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell also arrive in the area, chest thrusting and overwhelmingly attempting to threaten The Heartbreak Express by saying they will destroy them in their titles match. Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta retort by saying that a great many people backstage would like to be in their place right now so that they can kick The Most Wanted - thus including Renegade Bradley Blaze - but fortunately that honor will soon fall to themselves, The Heartbreak Express. RDJ tries to tone it down, taking The Big Guns away with him and avoiding a backstage brawl. Ricky Dale Johnson comes out of this looking excellent. [44]

Joffy Laine vs Left Shot Bradford in a No Disqualification match
After months of heated rivalry, assaults, and beatdown, the time has finally come for the showdown between Joffy Laine and Left Shot Bradford. In this first No Disqualification match in Lone Star Wrestling, there’s no room for a hardcore clash full of weapons, but rather for an even more psychological match than usual, with few foreign objects used judiciously and playing heavily on the absence of rope break and count-out. "The Jackhammer" gets battered heavily by Left Shot Bradford, who takes some advantage by closing his rival to the ropes and beating him down. Joffy Laine reacts, however, with a great comeback, bringing the match back to a draw. In the final spot, Left Shot Bradford pulls a brass knuckle from under the ring and "arms" his own left hand, preparing for a Brass-Knuckle Dream Left Hook that would mean certain victory. Joffy Laine, however, manages to avoid the blow, Left Shot tries again but the second Dream Left Hook also goes wide, with the heel turning around again rather exhausted, being anticipated by Joffy Laine's Death Spiral: 1 ... 2 .. 3!! [49]

Cali Slick vs Ernest Youngman
In a rare heel versus heel match, Cali Slick and Ernest Youngman collide as both men want nothing more than to prevail over the other after some tensions in the preceding months. In a bout that has great wrestling and in terms of in ring performances has been the best in Lone Star Wrestling so far, Ernest Youngman defeats Cali Slick in thirteen minutes by pinfall with The Hit, after Venus Angeletti distracts Cali Slick from ringside. A good performance by "The Draw" is not enough, as “The Assassin” takes home the W and regains some momentum. [53]

As previously announced, Rayne Man is here to address the fans in attendance. The veteran talks about the great disappointment he suffered in the Cage match he lost, giving kudos to Renegade Bradley Blaze despite this weighing heavily on him. Rayne Man says that he has been wondering about his future in the promotion, but suddenly an unknown figure interrupts him. A Hispanic man in his thirties dressed in a suit and tie joins him in the ring, apologizing for the interruption and introducing himself: his name is Vinny Cruz, an Agent well known in the sports world. After managing various talents in football, basketball, baseball for years, now his goal is to enter the world of pro wrestling as well. Ricky Dale Johnson has been kind enough to provide him with a Backstage Pass this evening because Vinny Cruz wanted to talk to Rayne Man specifically. The veteran is undoubtedly talented, but he lacks a little extra attitude to really break through at a high level. Vinny Cruz can help him in just that by becoming his Agent and taking him to the "major league" of this business. Rayne Man listens to Vinny Cruz, but after a slight head shake he responds to the Agent by saying that he doesn't need anything from anyone, leaving the ring and returning backstage. [34]

Renegade Bradley Blaze (c) vs Big Hustle for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title

Big Hustle gets off to a strong start against Renegade Bradley Blaze, putting in the champion in trouble in the first few minutes and almost managing to connect the Hustler's Headbutt, with "The Renegade" able to dodge the finisher at the last, then exiting the ring to rest and plan a new strategy, advised also by his allies Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell present at ringside. The Big Guns interfere several times to distract Big Hustle, leaving no chance for referee Clinton Edwards other than to banish them from the stage, but meanwhile the Texas Heavyweight champ managed to turn the tide of the match. The heavyweight babyface fights back and doesn't give up, managing to rebuild excellent momentum and setting himself up for victory, being distracted again, this time by Ernest Youngman! "The Assassin" reaches the apron to collide with his rival, but Big Hustle anticipates him and neutralizes Youngman before he can interfere in the match and causing a DQ. All this, however, favors that bloody renegade called Bradley Blaze, who uses the opportunity to connects his Dallas Drop on his challenger. It ain’t over between Big Hustle and Ernest Youngman, as “The Assassin” returns his focus on Big Hustle after defeating Cali Slick. In a main event with good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Renegade Bradley Blaze wins by pinfall and makes defence number four of the LSW Texas Heavyweight title. [49]

Preview for LSW Summer Stampede 2020

Cali Slick vs Teddy Powell
A hard loss to Ernest Youngman has somewhat stoppered Cali Slick's odds for a main event scene landing. The Californian has a chance to make up for it immediately in this one versus one match, proving RDJ and the entire crew that he is indeed “The Draw”. His opponent, "Constant Motion" Teddy Powell, is a veteran wrestler with over two decades of top level experience, and a reliable, consistent workhorse that has been rather overshadowed in Lone Star Wrestling so far. Who you got for this one?

Rob Reynolds vs Tavon Blake Jr
A bout that may shake up the rankings in the midcard and provide an interesting clash between the MMA-influenced style of Rob Reynolds and the grappling of Tavon Blake Jr. Two babyfaces who have hinted that they want to challenge each other with respect and honor, wanting to establish themselves as the better man in this match-up. Rob "The Real Deal" Reynolds is coming off a loss to Tennessee William, while "The Grappler" Tavon Blake Jr's last bout in LSW was in April 2020, when he emerged defeated from his bout with Texas Hangman.

The Hive (Quentin Queen, Remmy Honeyman) vs The Mad Clowns (Hellech, Pierrot) in a Tornado Tag Team match
The Mad Clowns challenged The Hive again, after being defeated twice in a row by Remmy Honeyman and Quentin Queen both in the Mid South Tag Team Series and at LSW Unchained. In a creepy taped video Pierrot and Hellech said they had not forgotten the two bubbly babyfaces and their joyous laughter after defeating the two Maxican luchadores, eager to turn those beautiful smiles into sad and terrified faces. The Hive have accepted the challenge which was made official by owner Ricky Dale Johnson, in a Tornado Tag Team match at LSW Summer Stampede! Will The Hive go 3-0 against The Mad Clowns? Or will Hellech and Pierrot finally score a victory against Queen and Honeyman?

Rayne Man vs Prime Time Jack Pryde
After turning down Vinny Cruz's offer to become his Agent, Rayne Man returns to action in a midcard match against cocky rookie Prime Time Jack Pryde. A big chance for the young wrestler out of Minnesota, while for Rayne Man this is hardly a desirable match, as he used to hanging around the main event scene in the last months. The eve favors are for the veteran babyface, but watch out for Jack Pryde, who has already proven several times that he can take home to W with dirty tactics.

Big Hustle vs Ernest Youngman
Many rumors have spoken of Big Hustle's rampage in the aftermath of LSW Sundown Showdown, coming out defeated in the championship match against Renegade Bradley Blaze for the Texas Heavyweight title due to interference from Ernest Youngman. The imposing heavyweight turned backstage upside down in an attempt to get his hands on "The Assassin," only being calmed down by several staff members and owner Ricky Dale Johnson after MUCH effort. The only way to convince him was to promise him a singles match of his own against Ernest Youngman at LSW Summer Stampede. "The Assassin" recently released a statement, saying that the spot of No. One Contender certainly didn’t belong to Big Hustle, but to himself. Ernest Youngman is far superior to Big Hustle and will prove it in the upcoming match-up, once and for all.

Left Shot Bradford, Tennessee William vs The American Cobras (Marvel Malloy, Storm Spillane)
The American Cobras, fresh winners of a tag team match against Texas Hangman and Cobra, are expected to clash again against Tennessee William and Left Shot Bradford, in a rematch of the First Round of the Mid South Tag Team Series where The Cobras won. We're in for a really level bout, with Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane continuing to have great success halfway around the world and aiming for one more win to re-launch themselves toward the LSW Tag team Heavyweight titles, a goal that could also be very attracting for Tennessee William and Left Shot Bradford.

The Most Wanted (Bradley Blaze, Buck Winchester, Wes Revell) vs ???, Heartbreak Express (Johnny Needham, Ralph Liotta)
The No. One Contenders at the tag team championships Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta were not intimidated by Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell in a face-to-face during the last event, claiming that many would like to kick The Most Wanted. The leader of the faction and Texas Heavyweight champ Renegade Bradley Blaze responded to them, calling on The Heartbreak Express to actually find a partner of their choice willing to go up against Bradley Blaze and his brigade. The Most Wanted have all the gold and feel untouchable, will Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta be able to hire a partner in this three versus three brawl? And regardless, will they still be able to defeat the stable that is running Lone Star Wrestling?

Key for Predictions:
Cali Slick vs Teddy Powell [1 Pts]

LSW Summer Stampede 2020
Sunday, Week 1, July 2020
Held in El Paso, TX (Mid South) in front of 262 people
11,290 viewers on WrestleWorld

Cali Slick vs Teddy Powell
The opener sees Cali Slick going one-on-one against Teddy Powell. The two competitors start off calmly, working the crowd in the first few minutes of the match, and getting the show off to a strong start. "Constant Motion" Teddy Powell seems a bit off his game , but still fighting a decent bout. "The Draw" Cali Slick however manages to impose himself on his opponent, defeating him after nine minutes by pinfall with a picture-perfect Slick-Back. A victory that relaunches the Californian, very motivated and eager to take the next step in his career here in Lone Star Wrestling. Another defeat comes, however, for the workhorse Teddy Powell. [44]

Rob Reynolds vs Tavon Blake Jr
Rob Reynolds and Tavon Blake Jr start very strong instead, one trying to impose a match-up from midrange using hard strikes and quick hits, and the other trying to impose some old school grappling to wear down the opponent. The announcing does a good job of selling this style clash, lifting the rating of the match. In a decent one versus one bout, Rob "The Real Deal" Reynolds finds victory after seven minutes, putting together a great combo of kicks before pinning his opponent with a Real Deal Rocker. After the bell, there’s room for sportsmanship, as Rob Reynolds shakes his opponent's hand, being respectfully reciprocated by Tavon Blake Jr. [39]

The owner of Lone Star Wrestling, Ricky Dale Johnson, takes five minutes to announce the next LSW-branded show to be staged next August. A month from now, the Texas-based promotion will bring LSW Gold Rush to you! RDJ says he is in eager anticipation for this new show, because the main event will be really special. Renegade Bradley Blaze has proven to be a great Texas Heavyweight champ, like it or not, and the owner does not want to go into the dirty tricks and tactics of "The Renegade," what matters is that he is a tough guy capable of fighting great matches and bringing big bucks into the boss's pockets. But a great champion is also measured by the greatness of his challenger, and the next No. One Contender will be up to the challenge. He will be because, in order to challenge the title holder, he will have to emerge victorious from the main event of LSW Gold Rush: THE GOLD RUSH MATCH! A Six Way match between six competitors personally chosen by RDJ who will compete in the Gold Rush, with the winner being the one who first manages to pin or submit one of the opponents inside the squared circle. The gold rush will soon begin, who will get the spoils? [82]

The Hive (Quentin Queen, Remmy Honeyman) vs The Mad Clowns (Hellech, Pierrot) in a Tornado Tag Team match
Hellech and Pierrot get off to a very strong start, surprising The Hive who would have liked a slower start to the match. The first few minutes are controlled by The Mad Clowns, who exploit the rules of the Tornado Tag Team match to constantly look for one-on-twos in the ring, beating up one of their paired rivals, then moving on to the other, repeating the pattern. However, Quentin Queen and Remmy Honeyman manage to fight back, thanks in part to the support of the crowd in the stands. In a decent match, The Hive defeat The Mad Clowns once again, going 3-0 against them, when Remmy Honeyman pins the lightweight Hellech following The Double Sting twelve minutes into the bout. [43]

Rayne Man vs Prime Time Jack Pryde
Tension immediately builds in the match, as Prime Time Jack Pryde attempts to get on his opponent’s nerves, saying that he’s not Rayne Man the one of the two unfairly relegated to the midcard. On the contrary, that is exactly where a failed middle-aged wrestler belongs, whereas it is Prime Time Jack Pryde who should be far higher on the show's card. Stung by these delusions of omnipotence on the part of the rookie, Rayne Man finally seems to concentrate on the match, overcoming Jack Pryde's tricks, and defeating him in about ten minutes by pinfall after his Rayne Drop. [33]

Following his match, Rayne Man is joined by Vinny Cruz, the Sport Agent who attempted to associate himself with the middleweight babyface last month. Vinny Cruz compliments Rayne Man, pointing out, however, that this was certainly not a main event-caliber match. The veteran should be in a much higher position, and he knows it. Once again, Vinny Cruz offers his services to get Rayne Man where he deserves to be. With a more ruthless attitude and Cruz's management, Rayne Man will be back on top. The Sport Agent makes a new offer; all it takes is Rayne Man's go-ahead and Vinny Cruz will make the play and do his best to put Rayne Man in the Gold Rush match next month, with the opportunity to become No. One Contender at the Texas Heavyweight title at stake. An offer that is put down as if it were a "free trial," an offer accepted by a pensive Rayne Man. It seems like the veteran is willing to give it a try and give the Hispanic sports agent a chance, after all the Gold Rush match would be huge! [38]

Big Hustle vs Ernest Youngman
Big Hustle is assaulted during his entrance by Ernest Youngman, who proceeds with a beating against his rival. The imposing babyface, however, manages to fight back, getting up and hurling himself at "The Assassin," who is forced to recoil toward the ring where he is joined by Big Hustle, where the referee orders to ring the bell. Once again, Big Hustle and Ernest Youngman do not have good chemistry, but still the individual performances and the rivalry between the two make up for a pretty decent match. In his best moment, Big Hustle takes Ernest Youngman's head in his hands, ready for the Hustler Headbutt, getting distracted by the interference of Venus Angeletti who gets on the apron ranting at the babyface. Big Hustle lets his rival go, zomping on the valet and blocking her head: it seems like he wants to hit her with the Hustler Headbutt! The referee gets in the way, grabbing Big Hustle's hands and inviting him to desist, but in doing so he gives his back to Ernest Youngman, who takes advantage of the ref's blind spot: LOW BLOW! "The Assassin" hits Big Hustle down there, forcing him to let go of Venus Angeletti and collapsing to his knees. And after this misconduct, Ernest Youngman has the green light for The Hit, which gives him the victory after fourteen minutes. [46]

A down-on-his-luck Prime Time Jack Pryde is being poked by cameras backstage, different from how we usually see him with that arrogant, cocky air. The rookie feels bad for the loss to Rayne Man, after all it was a big chance. "Prime Time" is joined by Chip Martin, who repays him in kind, mocking him by saying that there's a big L written on his face right now. Johnny Martin appears on camera, scolding his son Chip and pulling him away from his rival, taking him back for his bad manners. After all, Jack Pryde is a spoiled brat, but acting the same way is not the answer, as two wrongs don’t make a right. A pull on the ears of "NextGen," who walks away with his father, while the camera zooms in on the face of Prime Time Jack Pryde, who remained strangely unmoved by Chip Martin's taunting. [30]

Left Shot Bradford, Tennessee William vs The American Cobras (Marvel Malloy, Storm Spillane)
In a rematch of the First Round of the Mid South Tag Team Series, The American Cobras are ready to score a win once gain, while Tennessee William and Left Shot Bradford try to get even. The bout turns out to have great wrestling and a decent heat from the crowd, being without doubts the Match of the Night and scoring the highest rating ever in Lone Star Wrestling. Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane make their comeback in the match, but are distracted by the shouting from Travis Century who walking down the ramp alongside Cobra and Texas Hangman. “The Preacher” shouts against The American Cobras, who last month defeated his two affiliates, labeling them as sinners. Tennessee William tries to capitalize on the moment by throwing himself at The American Cobras, but they get ahead of him and throw him over the third rope with a double Back Body Drop, ending the blues musician at the feet of the members of The Strong Hand. Marvel Malloy makes the same end after a moment, with the legal man Left Shot Bradford tossing him out of the ring. Storm Spillane reacts by landing a couple of blows at the torso of Left Shot Bradford, but after gaining momentum off the ropes, Left Shot Bradford anticipates Storm Spillane: DREAM LEFT HOOK! And the victory ends up in the hands of the heel duo. [57] After the bell, as Tennessee William and Left Shot return satisfied backstage, The American Cobras are beaten down by Cobra and Texas Hangman inside the squared circle, also suffering a double Choke Slam by “The Hangman” that leaves them down and out. [17]

Is all set for the main event and The Most Wanted have already made their entrance to the ring, waiting for their opponents, curious to find out who the Heartbreak Express' partner will be, but rather convinced of their own superiority. Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta appear on the stage and pause on the ramp, announcing their ally for the main event; a competitor who, unlike Renegade Bradley Blaze, is the true pride of Texas .… "The Jackhammer "Joffy Laine! [31]

The Most Wanted (Bradley Blaze, Buck Winchester, Wes Revell) vs Joffy Laine, The Heartbreak Express (Needham, Liotta)
Joffy Laine, coming off a victory over rival Left Shot Bradford in a No Disqualification match, is on a roll and gets the match off to a great start, outwrestling both Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell. Renegade Bradley Blaze then takes control of the match in the middle stages, isolating Johnny Needham first and Ralph Liotta later, thus far managing to avoid the one-on-one against Joffy Laine. The bout turns out to be pretty good as expected, with a decent reaction from the crowd, and after eighteen minutes of action we reach the final stages of the match. Renegade Bradley Blaze does a little too much bluster, getting caught by the reaction of Joffy Laine who builds his momentum. The Big Guns step in to save their leader, however, being joined by The Heartbreak Express who after a four-man brawl manage to take out Winchester and Revell. "The Renegade" throws over the third-rope both Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta, preparing for his Dallas Drop on Joffy Laine ... But "The Jackhammer" reverses the finisher into his own signature move: DEATH SPIRAL! 1 .. 2 .. 3! "The Jackhammer" Joffy Laine just pinned Texas Heavyweight champ Renegade Bradley Blaze, what a win! [48]

Big win for Texan Joffy! And he pinned Bradley Blaze. I thought The Most Wanted would win but this victory puts Joffy on the map as a real threat for the LSW Heavyweight title.

I think The American Cobras' destiny is not to win the Tag Team titles in LSW. They are good to put others over and I like it this way.

Yep, thought that the main event scene needed a "shocker". Let's see what happens now in the Gold Rush match, I guess that the man who pinned the champ will have a spot in there, right? 🙄

Who’s going to be The Heartbreak Express’ partner? [1 Pts] Miller Fforde - Mid Atlantic alumni with Heartbreak Express/Bradley Blaze, fits the vibe of Needham and Liotta

I liked your out-of-the-box thinking about this John! Fforde is actually pretty nice, maybe we'll see him in LSW one day 😉

In the next couple of days the preview for LSW Gold Rush 2020 should be up, again thx for all your support!

Preview for LSW Gold Rush 2020

EBK (Bullseye, Waylon Walls) vs The Oklahomans (Jason Patterson, Jules Night)
The show opener is expected to be the tag team match between the street thugs who call themselves EBK - Every Body Killaz - and The Oklahomans rookies. Waylon Walls and Bullseye are coming off a loss in their rivalry against The Heartbreak Express, while Jason Patterson and Jules Night recently triumphed in a three-on-three alongside "NextGen" Chip Martin. This bout could imply some changes in the hierarchies of Lone Star Wrestling's tag division, especially given the pace The Big Guns champions are keeping, smashing their opponents.

Chip Martin vs Tavon Blake Jr
Accompanied by his father Johnny Martin, Chip Martin has another chance to find his first singles victory here in LSW. His opponent Tavon Blake Jr, however, has a slight favor in the odds, thanks to physical superiority and his grappling style that could wear down an inexperienced rookie like "NextGen." The question to ask, moreover, is whether Chip Martin will be able to put into practice the teachings of his dad, who has repeatedly called him to concentration to avoid ugly surprises in the middle of the squared circle.

Cobra, Texas Hangman vs The American Cobras (Marvel Malloy, Storm Spillane)
Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane come from a defeat against Tennessee William and Left Shot Bradford due to interference by Travis Century and his "adepts" from The Strong Hand. Cobra and Texas Hangman had been defeated by The American Cobras themselves a couple of months ago, and at LSW Summer Stampede "The Preacher" wanted to send a strong signal of revenge against the two "sinners" who stood in the pious path of The Strong Hand. Ricky Dale Johnson announced this tag team rematch, finding approval from both parties involved. The American Cobras want to teach Travis Century, Cobra and Texas Hangman another lesson, but the feeling is that the task is far from easy.

The Big Guns (c) vs The Heartbreak Express for the LSW Tag Team Heavyweight titles

Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell are called upon to defend their championships from the onslaught of No. One Contenders Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta, who in the last show triumphed over The Big Guns and Renegade Bradley Blaze, teaming up with "The Jackhammer" Joffy Laine. The physical difference is really noticeable here, but in the three versus three match The Heartbreak Express surprised many by holding their own against the champs, rebalancing some of the initial predictions. Joffy Laine shocked everyone when he pinned Renegade Bradley Blaze, will Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta be able to do the same in this championship bout to take the titles?

6-Man Gold Rush match
As previously announced by owner Ricky Dale Johnson, the main event will have six competitors personally chosen by RDJ who will compete in a Six Way match, with the winner being the one who first manages to pin or submit one of the opponents inside the squared circle to become the No. One Contender at the LSW Texas Heavyweight title held by Renegade Bradley Blaze. Ricky Dale Johnson has selected: Big Hustle, who comes from two tough defeats against Bradley Blaze and Ernest Youngman, with several excuses though given the tainted wins of his opponents; Ernest Youngman himself, who recently defeated "The Hustler" and Cali Slick; Tennessee William, the blues musician who has been on a roll recently and who deserved this opportunity, despite his irritating manners; "The Jackhammer" Joffy Laine, who recently pinned the Texas Heavyweight champ in a three-on-three; "The Draw" Cali Slick, whom RDJ wanted to give confidence to given his never-say-die attitude; and finally Rayne Man, included in the bout thanks to the work made by the Sport Agent Vinny Cruz, who seems to want to grab the veteran as his client. One of these six competitors will become the next No. One Contender, who will be the quickest? Who will find the gold?
