LSW King Of The Rodeo 2020 - Day #2
Friday, Week 4, September 2020
Held in Dallas (Mid South) in front of 398 people
11,073 viewers on WrestleWorld

Jules Night vs Tavon Blake Jr in the First Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
In a decent opener, “The Grappler” Tavon Blake Jr outwrestles and defeats “The Sandman” Jules Night in nine minutes by submission with a Figure Four Leglock. This match gets the show off to a strong start. [38]

Pierrot vs Powerful Man in the First Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
In an all-Mexican bout, Pierrot takes on a outsider here in Lone Star Wrestling as ripped middleweight Powerful Man joins the rodeo. With Hellech having his back st ringside, “The Mad Clown” Pierrot scores a W in his first singles match, defeating Powerful Man in ten minutes by pinfall with a Doom Spiral. [38]

Texas Hangman vs Remmy Honeyman in the First Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
Hoping to join his partner Quentin Queen in the Second Round, Remmy Honeyman takes on Texas Hangman, definitely not the easiest task, and a much harder pairing compared to the other half of The Hive. In a decent bout, “The Hangman” eventually defeats Remmy Honeyman in nine minutes by pinfall with a Choke Slam. [37]

Jerry Pepper vs Left Shot Bradford in the First Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
In an extremely short match that lasts around three minutes, Jerry Pepper gets knocked down by Left Shot Bradford after his Dream Left Hook, getting pin right after it. One shot, that’s all it took for Left Shot to pass the turn. Bradford is really vicious these days, and one has to wonder who could eliminate him from the tournament. [35]

Brady Prince vs Cobra in the First Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
“The Hunter” Brady Prince, who used to work in Southern Championship Class Wrestling back then, enters the rodeo and has to fight against Cobra, accompanied by Travis Century and Texas Hangman. The veteran gives his best, but Cobra takes the victory pretty easily, submitting him after five minutes with a Viper Vice after a decent match. [39] After the match, Cobra proceeds to push Brady Prince out of the ring, as The Strong Hand regroup in the middle of the ring. “The Preacher” Travis Century, with a microphone in his hand, shouts that either Texas Hangman or Cobra will win this tournament, making this rodeo an opportunity to enforce the word of the Lord. And after The Strong Hand comes down on all of Lone Star Wrestling, there will be no room for any other sinner. [28]

Ernest Youngman vs Outlaw Wes Revell in the First Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
In one of the most interesting bouts of the day, featuring great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Ernest Youngman defeats Outlaw Wes Revell after a physical match-up, pinning him after The Hit. “The Assassin” and “The Outlaw” have pretty good chemistry and it lifted the match, also the performances of Venus Angeletti and Cowboy Buck Winchester helps the overall result. Match of the night for sure! [53]

Chip Martin vs Prime Time Jack Pryde in the First Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
After defeating him twice in tainted wins, Prime Time Jack Pyde takes on Chip Martin for the third time, this one in round one of the tournament. In a bout that doesn't have much heat and terrible wrestling, dragging in the middle and probably being way to long, Prime Time Jack Pryde tries and almost gets away with a flashy pinfall holding on to the ropes for extra leverage, but the referee notices it past the two-count also thanks to Johnny Martin's warning. An argument ensues between the ref and Johnny Martin at ringside, who clarifies that he merely signaled impropriety. Jack Pryde mocks Johnny, turns around and BOOM! Chip Martin hits him with a Low Blow! WHAT? And after that, "NextGen" goes for the small package, while referee turns back: 1 ... 2 .. 3! Chip Martin passes the turn, reciprocating previous defeats with a tainted win himself. [16] After the match, Johnny Martin realizes how his son has won the match and scolds him, claiming that such a dirty win is worthless. Chip Martin does not seem to listen to his father's words, patting him on the back and arguing that "a win is a win" and that Jack Pryde got only what he deserves. The hints at a Chip Martin heel turn gets a poor reaction. [34]

Joffy Laine vs Rob Reynolds in the First Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
The main event of Day #2 of the King Of The Rodeo sees “The Jackhammer” Joffy Laine going one-on-one with Rob “The Real Deal” Reynolds, as both competitors shake hands right after the bell showing mutual respect. In a bout that has good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, the No. One Contender at the LSW Texas Heavyweight title keeps his momentum going, defeating Rob Reynolds in fifteen minutes with a Death Spiral to pass the turn. [49]

LSW King Of The Rodeo 2020 - Day #3
Saturday, Week 4, September 2020
Held in Dallas (Mid South) in front of 300 people
12,002 viewers on WrestleWorld

Frankie Perez vs Raphael in the Second Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
In today's opener, "The Masterpiece" Raphael takes on Frankie Perez and seems to look at him supponantly, as if wondering if his opponent is really as strong as they say. Turns out that's not a gimmick, Frankie Perez really his one of the best wrestlers on the indie scene, submitting Raphael with a P-Clutch in aroud eleven minutes after a bout with great heat and decent wrestling. Frankie Perez advances to Day #4 of the tournament. [43]

Quentin Queen vs The Architect in the Second Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
In a decent match The Architect manages to defeat Quentin Queen, the only half of The Hive still in the tournament. A really tight match between the two competitors, but eventually a surprise cradle after eight minutes allows The Architect to pass the turn. Not bad for the outsider from the Mid Atlantic who defeated Hellech and Quentin Queen to snatch a ticket to the Quarter-finals. This match gets the crowd hotter. [40]

Al Coleman vs Cowboy Buck Winchester in the Second Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
In a superb match, Cowboy Buck Winchester defeats Al Coleman in ten minutes by pinfall with a Neckbreaker, earning a chance to represent The Most Wanted at the Quarter-finals as well. Good performance by “Mr. Submission” Al Coleman, who throughout the match attempted to submit "The Cowboy," making the bout very strategic. It is not yet clear if any of the outsiders who took part in the Rodeo will be seen again in LSW on a permanent basis, certainly Al Coleman would be one of those most interesting faces to see again. [53]

Cali Slick vs Big Hustle in the Second Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
A big match is next, as Cali Slick is called upon to clash with Big Hustle, who defeated Rayne Man in unorthodox fashion last week as Cali Slick interfered in the bout and knocked down both Rayne Man and Big Hustle by hitting them with his golden chain, before placing Big Hustle's body on top of Rayne Man's for the winning pinfall. In a match that has great wrestling a decent reaction from fans in attendance, the referee gets struck and falls unconscious, and Vinny Cruz passes the golden chain to Cali Slick who hits Big Hustle on the chin and takes him down and out. "The Draw" helps the referee recover so he can proceed to pinfall, but suddenly Rayne Man appears out of nowhere and hits the Rayne Drop on Cali Slick! The veteran gives Cali Slick a piece of his mind, putting all his strength into it and dragging Big Hustle over him. Rayne Man comes down from the squared circle and disappears, Vinny Cruz is in shock, while the referee realizes the pinfall an stars the count: 1 ... 2 .. 3!! [53]

Tavon Blake Jr vs Pierrot in the Second Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
In a decent match of round two of the tournament, Tavon Blake Jr has the upper hand over “The Mad Clown” Pierrot, pinning the luchador in eight minutes after hitting a Piledriver. “The Grappler” is heading to the Quarter-finals where we will face the winner of Texas Hangman versus Left Shot Bradford. [40]

Texas Hangman vs Left Shot Bradford in the Second Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
The huge clash betwen "The Hangman" and Left Shot starts strong, with both competitors starting brawling straight away, failing to physically impose themselves on each other. It comes out a decent bout with good heat, helped by Travis Century performance at ringside, while Cobra stayed backstage to prepare for his upcoming match. After seven minutes of wild brawl, Left Shot Bradford and Texas Hangman collide outside the ring while referee begins to count them out. Arriving at the count of seven, Texas Hangman hits his opponent with a powerful uppercut that staggers him. At the count of eight "The Hangman" follows Travis Century's order and throws Left Shot back into the ring so he can finish him off with the Choke Slam. Texas Hangman gets on the apron at the count of nine, but before he can get back inside the squared circle, here comes Storm Spillane who grabs his leg, preventing him from getting back in. "The Hangman" kicks and gets his rival off his back, but in the process the referee counts the TEN! Left Shot Bradford wins the match by Count Out, and Texas Hangman is furious, no longer listening to Travis Century and beginning to chase Storm Spillane, who beats a retreat backstage. [44]

Cobra vs Ernest Youngman in the Second Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
Orphan of Travis Century at ringside, who has also returned backstage to find Texas Hangman and attempt to quell his fury, Cobra clashes with Ernest Youngman for a bye at the Quarter-finals. In a bout that has great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, after nine minutes Cobra is in turn distracted by one half of The American Cobras, but this time it is Marvel Malloy. The returning babyface shows up on the apron and with agility distracts his rival, who pays duty for this move by being taken out by Ernest Youngman after The Hit. The American Cobras take some sweet revenge over The Strong Hand, causing both rivals to be eliminated from the Rodeo. [52]

Chip Martin vs Joffy Laine in the Second Round of LSW King Of The Rodeo
In the last bout of the second round, "NextGen" Chip Martin goes one-on-one with "The Jackhammer" Joffy Laine. The No. One Contender at the LSW Texas Heavyweight title has control over the match, imposing himself on Chip Martin despite his attempts of fighting back. In a decent bout, it all seems already written when Chip Martin takes advantage of an opportunity where the referee is slightly distracted to put a finger in Joffy Laine's eyes and blind him, first connecting his Superkick: 1 ... 2 .. KICK OUT! Johnny Martin does some good work at ringside, taking back his son who once again does not follow his advice and fights a dirty fight, despite the hints at a his heel turn are once again getting a poor reaction. Joffy Laine recovers though, and after a couple of minutes defeats Chip Martin by pinfall with a Death Spiral. [39]

And to close the show, Ricky Dale Johnson walks out to the ring to congratulate all Rodeo participants, especially those 8 competitors who gained access to the Quarter-finals. The owner does a small recap of the bouts that will take place tomorrow in round three of the tournament: Frankie Perez vs The Architect, Cowboy Buck Winchester vs Big Hustle, “The Grappler” Tavon Blake Jr vs Left Shot Bradford, and “The Assassin” Ernest Youngman” vs “The Jackhammer” Joffy Laine. Preview for LSW King Of The Rodeo 2020 - Day #4

WCEd2It.png

#1. Frankie Perez
Frankie Perez is a talented wrestler from California who is considered one of the best workers on the North American indie scene. Noted for his ultra stiff kicks and a heavily strike-based style of wrestling, Frankie Perez has shined so far in the Rodeo, submitting first Jason Patterson and then "The Masterpiece" Raphael to qualify to the Quarter-finals of the tournament. The 35-year-old Hispanic is undoubtedly one of the favorites to win now.

#2. The Architect
The second and last "outsider" to have made it all the way to the Quarter-finals, The Architect likes to take his opponents to the mat and work them over with painful submission holds and stretches, but the best weapon in his arsenal is undoubtedly his guile. Able to think quickly outside the box and put himself in advantageous positions, not drawing the going over rules, The Architect has so far defeated Hellech and Quentin Queen in the very first two rounds, will the scheming technician make it all the way?

#3. Cowboy Buck Winchester
The only one left to represent The Most Wanted in the Rodeo, as Renegade Bradley Blaze was replaced in the tournament and Outlaw Wes Revell was eliminated, tag team champ Cowboy Buck Winchester comes to this Quarter-final after pinning Teddy Powell in the first round and Al Coleman in the second round. The brawler from Dallas has so far been one of the most successful competitors in Lone Star Wrestling, and what an opportunity for him to be able to become the King Of The Rodeo.

#4. Big Hustle
"The Hustler" arrives at these Quarter-finals in a truly incredible way, having overcome two big roadblocks like Rayne Man and Cali Slick, but in both cases getting the pinfall unconscious. The growing rivalry between Rayne Man and "The Draw" has involved the charismatic brawler from Atlanta who now wants to assert himself first and foremost against Cowboy Buck Winchester, no ifs or buts. Will the babyface powerhouse be able to win the tournament?

#5. “The Grappler” Tavon Blake Jr
Perhaps the real wildcard of this Rodeo so far, Tavon Blake Jr used his grappling to the fullest to defeat "The Sandman" Jules Night in round one, also winning in the second round against "The Mad Clown" Pierrot. The native of Los Angeles is called to a difficult match-up against Left Shot Bradford in the Quarter-final that will feature two competitors known for having some of the nicest looking punches in the business.

#6. Left Shot Bradford
A very quick win against rookie Jerry Pepper in the first round and a count out win against Texas Hangman in the second round, so far Left Shot's journey is far from iconic but what matters most is having made it this far. In recent months we have seen a very serious and assertive Left Shot, and becoming the King Of The Rodeo is the perfect opportunity to establish himself once and for all in Lone Star Wrestling. There will be many who will expect him to make it through the Quarter-finals, but an eventual Semifinal will definitely be against a competitor of his caliber given the bracket.

#7. “The Assassin” Ernest Youngman
With two not-at-all obvious wins against tag champ Outlaw Wes Revell and Cobra in the first two rounds, Ernest Youngman has not disappointed expectations so far, qualifying for the Quarter-finals. "The Assassin" has racked up several wins in recent months, and a victory in this tournament could finally propel him to the top of Lone Star Wrestling. With the support of Venus Angeletti at ringside, Ernest Youngman can go all the way.

#8. “The Jackhammer” Joffy Laine
Joffy Laine is on a roll recently! Over the past few months "The Jackhammer" has crashed the LSW Texas Heavyweight champ Renegade Bradley Blaze in multi-man-action, won the Gold Rush match to become No. One Contender, and in the first two rounds of the tournament he has prevailed over Rob "The Real Deal" Reynolds and "NextGen" Chip Martin. Definitely one of the fan favorites to win the Rodeo, will Joffy Laine be able to dominate in the final rounds?

Frankie Perez vs The Architect in the Quarter-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo [1 Pts]

This feels like an indy dream match - As much as I like The Architect, I think this run has been to see how he works as part of the roster and prove himself ahead of a future ongoing contract. Meanwhile Perez is a bigger name and in line to put over a bigger part of the LSW roster in the later rounds.

Cowboy Buck Winchester vs Big Hustle in the Quarter-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo [1 Pts]

A win over 1/3 of The Most Wanted sets him up to enter the title picture down the road.

Tavon Blake Jr vs Left Shot Bradford in the Quarter-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo [1 Pts]

To set up a showdown with former rival Joffy Laine in the next round.

Ernest Youngman vs Joffy Laine in the Quarter-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo [1 Pts]

I want to stick by my man Youngman but I can't see the number one contender losing in the quarter finals.

Winner of 1st Quarter-final (Frankie Perez) vs Winner of 2nd Quarter-final (Big Hustle) in the Semi-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo [1 Pts]

Big Hustle is a big part of LSW and Perez is in the tournament to put over a big part of the LSW roster.

Winner of 3rd Quarter-final (Left Shot Bradford) vs Winner of 4th Quarter-final (Joffy Laine) in the Semi-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo [1 Pts]

Laine conquers his demons in the form of his first LSW rival Left Shot Bradford on his way to the final.

Winner of 1st Semi-final (Big Hustle) vs Winner of 2nd Semi-final (Joffy Laine) in the Final of LSW King Of The Rodeo [3 Pts]

Bradley Blaze and/or the rest of The Most Wanted interfere to cost Joffy Laine, which in turn muddys the waters at the top of the card and gives Big Hustle a legitimate claim to enter the title picture.

LSW King Of The Rodeo 2020 - Day #4
Sunday, Week 4, September 2020
Held in Dallas (Mid South) in front of 323 people
13,575 viewers on WrestleWorld

LSW King Of The Rodeo is sponsored by Herrera Steak, the best steak in town!

The show opens up backstage with Big Hustle and Joffy Laine, two fan favorites exchanging some friendly banter about the King Of The Rodeo Tournament, both improvising very well throughout the segment. Suddenly, however, there also appears the LSW Texas Heavyweight champ Renegade Bradley Blaze, who starts mocking both babyfaces. Big Hustle responds in kind, saying that Bradley Blaze will lower his wings when "The Hustler" defeats his allied Cowboy Buck Winchester in the Quarter-finals. Joffy Laine, on the other hand, reminds "The Renegade" of that time when he managed to pin him in the middle of the ring, counting on doing it again soon for the Texas Heavyweight title. First, though, there's the King Of The Rodeo to think about, and "The Jackhammer" says he's glad that Renegade Bradley Blaze is here today, so he can enjoy his victory from very close range, in a spoiler of what their next match will be. Both babyfaces leave in opposite directions, leaving a fuming Renegade Bradley Blaze alone on the scene. [45]

Frankie Perez vs The Architect in the Quarter-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo
In a bout that has great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, the two remaining outsiders in the Rodeo battling each other to reach the first Semi-final. The Architect continues to impress with his technical abilities and ingenuity, but after almost twelve minutes Frankie Perez manages to connect his P-Clutch, leaving no exchange to his opponent who is forced to tap out after a few moments. This match gets the crowd hotter. [50]

Cowboy Buck Winchester vs Big Hustle in the Quarter-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo
It's a big men brawl next, as "The Cowboy" squares up against "The Hustler." Accompanied by Outlaw Wes Revell, Cowboy Buck Winchester once again demonstrates his excellent skills as a soloist as well, but in the end it's Big Hustle who comes out on top after fifteen minutes by pinfall with a skull-crushing Hustler's Headbutt. A nice bout with great wrestling and good heat ends up with "The Hustler" reaching the Semi-finals. [52]

Tavon Blake Jr vs Left Shot Bradford in the Quarter-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo
A surprising Tavon Blake Jr starts the bout great, managing to lift Left Shot Bradford and send him to the mat with several amateur wrestling maneuvers. Great chemistry between the two wrestlers raises the quality of the performance, making the bout full of great wrestling. After eight minutes though, Left Shot avoids the Piledriver by reversing it into a Back Body Drop. Tough landing with "The Grappler" getting up in pain, getting hit by a Dream Left Hook: 1 ... 2 .. 3! Left Shot Bradford snatches a ticket to the Semi-finals. [55]

Ernest Youngman vs Joffy Laine in the Quarter-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo
The fourth and final Quarter-finals has superb wrestling and good heat, becoming by far the best match in the short history of Lone Star Wrestling so far. A hard-fought bout, also enhanced by Venus Angeletti's distractions at ringside that make the match even more unpredictable. After fourteen minutes it is "The Jackhammer" Joffy Laine who pulls the rabbit out of the hat, connecting his Death Spiral and pinning "The Assassin" to win the match. Joffy Laine celebrates the victory and with him the home crowd, while a dejected Ernest Youngman does not seem to change his mood despite Venus' comfort. [62]

In a brief backstage segment, Prime Time Jack Pryde approaches Chip Martin, who seems to be on his own without his father. Despite their rivalry and many fights in the past few months, Jack Pryde surprises everyone by complimenting "NextGen," who has been pulling out the stops lately and is starting to act like an adult son of a gun. "Prime Time" argues that it's time for Chip Martin to shake off all that BS that Johnny Martin has put in his head about honesty, respect, honor. Lone Star Wrestling is no place for weak boys, especially given the cutthroat competition, and it's time to adjust his game once and for all. A cocky Jack Pryde keeps it real with "NextGen," before taking his leave, as if to have some respect for him after a few flashes of dirty attitude. The hope, of course, is that Chip Martin stays on the straight and narrow and does NOT follow the advice of "Prime Time." [36]

In a recorded tape, Travis Century has a message of solemn revenge against The American Cobras, as the creepy Texas Hangman and Cobra stand behind him. "The Preacher" curses Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane who ruined The Strong Hand's holy crusade during the King Of The Rodeo tournament, then challenges them again in a tag team match. Soon after, The American Cobras' response is also aired, with the two babyfaces accepting the challenge, eager to be able to settle scores with The Strong Hand. [32]

Frankie Perez vs Big Hustle in the Semi-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo
We are really very close to decreeing the King Of The Rodeo and the quality of the participants is really high. In a superb match, Frankie Perez puts on a show with stiff kicks and hard shots that put the powerhouse Big Hustle in trouble, capable of responding with strength and dominating the physical aspect of the match. Frankie Perez suffers more than usual from his opponent's physicality, but shows great resilience. After fourteen minutes, the outsider tries to close his P-Clutch, but with great effort "The Hustler" manages to get out of the submission hold, shaking off the opponent and managing to hit him with a Hustler's Headbutt! Big Hustle goes for the pinfall: 1 ... 2 .. 3! Frankie Perez brings his leg up to the first rope but does so an instant after the three-count by the referee, who then sanctions the end of the match. "The Hustler" reaches the final! [57]

Left Shot Bradford vs Joffy Laine in the Semi-finals of LSW King Of The Rodeo
In the second Semi-finals, a months-long rivalry between Left Shot and "The Jackhammer" is rekindled. In a bout that has great wrestling and good heat, both competitors give everything to reach the Final, keeping a lower pace and "selling" the fact that both have had a match previously. After fifteen minutes, interference from Texas Heavyweight champ Renegade Bradley Blaze is fatal to Joffy Laine, as the No. One Contender gets distracted a moment too long and is met by Left Shot Bradford's Dream Left Hook that brings him the victory. [45] After the match, Left Shot stares daggers at Renegade Bradley Blaze for a few seconds before exiting the squared circle and heading backstage to cool off for the Final. Meanwhile, Bradley Blaze pounces on Joffy Laine in the middle of the ring, leaving him down and out after a Dallas Drop. [30]

In a recorded video message Cali Slick, who looks more flabby now, adresses a challenge to Rayne Man, after both competitors participated in the mutual elimination from the tournament. Cali Slick does a masterful job of improvising interactions with the crowd, while his agent Vinny Cruz works the crowd well, using the freedom to improvise to his advantage. "The Draw" and Vinny Cruz say that they're coming for Rayne Man and they will show the veteran what "ruthless agression" really is. [39]

When we are very close to the start of the Final match, the owner Ricky Dale Johnson simply walks out and congratulates all the competitors who took part in the King Of The Rodeo, but especially Big Hustle and Left Shot Bradford who will be fighting for the tournament victory in a few moments. Ricky Dale Johnson is superb working without a script, he has the crowd in the palm of his hand the entire time. Before leaving, RDJ takes a moment to let everyone admire the beauty of the golden trophy, reminding also the money prize for the winner. [70]

Big Hustle vs Left Shot Bradford in the Final of LSW King Of The Rodeo

In a superb match, "The Hustler" and Left Shot collide to be crowned the King Of The Rodeo a to win at $10,000 maxi-check sponsored by Herrera Steak, the best steak in town! Fans in attendance here in Dallas openly side with babyface Big Hustle, who fearlessly faces Bradford's hard blows, trying to narrow the distance between them so he can knock him out with impactful maneuvers. Much is played on the remaining stamina of the two competitors, tired after already fighting in two matches today. After sixteen minutes, the two exhausted wrestlers exchange final blows in the middle of the ring, with "The Hustler" building some momentum. Big Hustle grabs his opponent's head and hits him: the HUSTLER'S HEADBUTT! Bradford collapses to the mat, but in the fall manages to unleash a powerful left punch: DREAM LEFT HOOK! Left Shot falls back to the mat shoulders-down as a knocked-down "The Hustler", however, ending up partly on Left Shot Bradford's body. The referee Clinton Edwards doesn't even waste a moment, throwing himself to the mat and counting Big Hustle's "accidental" pinfall attempt: 1 ... 2 .. 3!! Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the match and the King of the Rodeo 2020 ... Big Hustle! [54]

Well, you got really close on that with Left Shot winning it all! Will you have anything to recriminate about Big Hustle's "lucky" pinfall?

In the end, the breakdown on the tournament was fair enough, but I preferred to anticipate Bradley Blaze's interference in the semifinals so as to have a more classic babyface versus heel final ;).

I was so close to getting the entire thing perfectly too! Curse you Bradley Blaze for interfering too early. I did consider the heel/face divide for the final but thought since it was a special tournament it might not matter as much.

Well, you got really close on that with Left Shot winning it all! Will you have anything to recriminate about Big Hustle's "lucky" pinfall?

Of course! I expect Left Shot Bradford to protest that decision! LOL.

I predicted the Final although I wasn't confident because it wasn't an intuitive path. Great show with many potential consequences.

Total Wrestling News: LSW Cut Off Some Deals

It has been reported that Lone Star Wrestling has discontinued some handshake deals with several workers. This move was quite predictable, given the many new faces that have joined the promotion's roster in the previous months, making the workers pool far too large. The wrestlers who will no longer appear in LSW, at least in the nearest future are "Constant Motion" Teddy Powell, "The Mad Clowns" Hellech and Pierrot, and New Mexico rookies Jerry Pepper and Jay Silver - the latter still out with a broken arm injury.

Preview for LSW Trick-or-Tussle 2020

The Big Guns (c) Halloween Wheel Challenge for the LSW Tag Team Heavyweight titles

It's Halloween and time for some trick-or-treating! Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell are called upon to defend their tag team championships in a themed challenge. It will be the Halloween Wheel that will decide who will be the two competitors chosen by Lady Luck, who will have to team up against The Big Guns to try to steal the title straps from them. Will a hard-fought match emerge? Or will the drawn duo collapse in no time without the chemistry of the opponents?

The Canadian Blondes (Flash Savage, Ozzie Goldstein) vs The Heartbreak Express (Johnny Needham, Ralph Liotta)
A new debut in Lone Star Wrestling, this time in the tag team division, as Flash Savage and Ozzie Goldstein - known as The Canadian Blondes - will take on Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta. It will be a tag team bout full of pretty faces, but who will come out with a smiling face after this match-up? The Heartbreak Express have proven themselves to be good guys with good prospects and a level head. About The Canadian Blondes on the other hand, there are many rumors painting them as two obnoxious posers, putting on a lot of airs and with very little regard for anyone else who is not on their level of beauty and ability in the ring. Well, The Heartbreak Express could play it both ways!

The Architect vs Remmy Honeyman
In the aftermath of the King Of The Rodeo, The Architect would appear to have struck a deal with the ownership to continue to appear here in Lone Star Wrestling. The wily technician will go one-on-one against Remmy Honeyman, one half of The Hive. His partner, Quentin Queen, was eliminated from the Rodeo at the very hands of The Architect, who will do anything to defeat Remmy Honeyman as well. Who will come out on top? We know that both members of The Hive are also good competitors in singles action, so a hard-fought bout can be expected.

Raphael vs Tavon Blake Jr
Eliminated by Frankie Perez during the King Of The Rodeo, Raphael indulged in a series of insults toward the indie star - who returned to the South West after the tournament. Tavon Blake Jr sided with Frankie Perez in an increasingly harsh social media exchange, going so far as to tag Ricky Dale Johnson to make a match between the two official. The Boss didn't waste much time, adding this one-on-one to the card as well. "The Masterpiece" said he was confident he could defeat Tavon Blake Jr, who is, however, coming off a very good King Of The Rodeo where he made it all the way to the Quarter-finals-who will walk out with a win?

Also, we will hear it from “The King Of The Rodeo” Big Hustle!

Ernest Youngman vs Chip Martin
Disappointed with his elimination in the Quarter-finals of the Rodeo tournament, Ernest Youngman is looking for redemption against young Chip Martin in this one-on-one match. Big opportunity for "NextGen," who is increasingly torn between continuing to wrestle honorably, as his managing father Johnny Martin would like, or letting himself go to the dark side and moving into the ranks of the bad guys. "The Assassin" certainly will be little interested in Chip Martin's inner struggle, and will want to simply leave him down and out after The Hit to take home the victory.

Renegade Bradley Blaze (c) vs Joffy Laine for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title
The time has finally come for Joffy Laine to challenge Renegade Bradley Blaze for the heavyweight title strap. "The Jackhammer" became No. One Contender back in August after winning the Gold Rush match, but a questionable injury to "The Renegade" prevented the babyface from having a more immediate championship match. After assaulting Joffy Laine during the King of The Rodeo, Renegade Bradley Blaze threw off his mask and showed everyone how skilled and enlisted he is now, and Ricky Dale Johnson made this one-on-one match between the two official for LSW Trick-or-Tussle. Joffy Laine, the only one to ever pin Bradley Blaze here in Lone Star Wrestling, will try to do it again in singles action so he can become LSW Texas Heavyweight champ. Renegade Bradley Blaze, who has looked much more vulnerable after that pinfall, will still do literally anything to remain champ now that his reign has exceeded 250 days. The two hometown competitors will clash on Halloween night, who will show his best tricks? And for sure, there will be a tussle!

I could see this going the other way depending on the main event but I don't see The Most Wanted losing both matches

The Canadian Blondes (Flash Savage, Ozzie Goldstein) vs The Heartbreak Express (Needham, Liotta) [1 Pts]

The Blondes are a comparatively big deal, or at least feel that way

The Architect vs Remmy Honeyman [1 Pts]

If The Architect wins here there's no more legs to this one but if Remmy goes over you can build it into a feud.

Raphael vs Tavon Blake Jr [1 Pts]

Bit of a toss-up as I could see this going either way

Ernest Youngman vs Chip Martin [1 Pts]

I'm going to say Chip tries to play it clean and loses to build his storyline

Renegade Bradley Blaze (c) vs Joffy Laine for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title [1 Pts]

It feels like time for a title switch
