It's so fun to read your predictions about the upcoming Mid South Series lol I think this tournament is REALLY difficult to predict cause there are so many good options! The show should be post tomorrow btw

I know that The Nation Of Filth stink (pun intended), but even so an 8 feels harsh!

They stink for real, but I was playing with booking instructions a little too much during the qualifiers and messed this up lol

I think this might be setting up for the MSW version of Youngman's Steel Circle stable in PSW.

No comment about this prediction, just want to say that Hollywood Jake Idol officially left PSW back in October 2020 and has been on my shortlist ever since! I like him a lot and he fits LSW product a lot imho

LSW Mid South Tag Series 2
Friday, Week 1, April 2021
Held in Austin (Mid South) in front of 562 people
28,005 viewers on WrestleWorld

The Big Guns vs Joffy Laine, Miller Fforde in the First Round of the Mid South Tag Team Series
The opener sees some great wrestling and good heat, as last year winners The Big Guns square up against Texas Heavyweight champ Joffy Laine and Miller Fforde. The competitors work the crowd well and get the show off to a strong start, with a near pinfall by the babyface team interrupted at the last by Cowboy Buck Winchester, who saves his teammate Outlaw Wes Revell. Eventually, The Big Guns are the ones who walk out with the victory, managing to neutralize Joffy Laine who ends up outside the ring and connecting the Law of the West on Miller Fforde. After thirteen minutes, Outlaw Wes Revell successfully pins Miller Fforde, a breakout attempt by Joffy Laine coming in a moment late. [54]

After the match, The Strong Hand appear on stage and their focus seems to be all on the LSW Texas Heavyweight champ Joffy Laine, left alone in the ring as Miller Fforde just rolled out of the squared circle still hurt after the bout, while The Big Guns decided not to stand in the way of Texas Hangman and Co. for this time despite some recent skirmishes, going backstage. Texas Hangman and Cobra go up on opposite sides of the apron, while Travis Century shouts against "The Jackhammer" who looks close to a two-on-one, but suddenly here comes Renegade Bradley Blaze lining up alongside Joffy Laine?!?! WHAT?!?! "The Renegade" unbelievably helps Joffy Laine fend off the onslaught of The Strong Hand, who failing to immediately sink the blow decides to regroup outside of the ring. But what is this act of cavalry on the part of Bradley Blaze due to? [39]

The Hive vs The War Engine in the First Round of the Mid South Tag Team Series
In this decent First Round bout, the physical overpower of The Dreadnought is still highlighted, although Remmy Honeyman and Quentin Queen manage to counter the heelish duo much more effectively than Nation Of Filth did during the Qualifiers yesterday. The plot of the match is similar, however, with The Architect asking for and getting the tag from his imposing partner after the latter has done most of the work. The scheming villain enters a little soft on the squared circle, however, failing to connect his signature move and ending up trapped in a quick cradle by Remmy Honeyman: 1 ... 2 .. 3!! Call it an upset if you want, The Hive just qualified for the Semifinals! The Dreadnought storms into the ring to punish the babyfaces, who however have enough sense to roll out of the squared circle as quickly as possible, avoiding a post-match beatdown. [32]

The American Cobras vs The Canadian Blondes in the First Round of the Mid South Tag Team Series
It may not be a title match, but this is exactly the match The Canadian Blondes had requested, some tag team action against the new LSW Tag Team champs Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane of The American Cobras. In a bout that has great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd here in Austin, The American Cobras are the ones who snatch a ticket to the next round, when Storm Spillane traps Flash Savage in a Kneeling Boston Crab after thirteen minutes, leaving him no other choice but to tap. [52]

In a recorded promo, Big Hustle talks about the Dream Left Hook seasoned by the metal of brass knuckles he received a couple of months ago courtesy of his rival Left Shot Bradford. That hard blow gave him a fractured jaw and to this day, when "The King Of The Rodeo" wants to enjoy a good t-bone from Herrera Steak, his damn face hurts. But "The Hustler" also remembers how he gave Left Shot a piece of his mind when he hit him with a brass knuckles punch during the match to crown the inaugural Brass Knuckles champ later won by Rob Reynolds, but that his hunger for revenge is not yet satiated. Therefore, Big Hustle challenges Left Shot for LSW Unchained, in a one-on-one Brass Knuckles match! [58]

The Heartbreak Express vs Ernest Youngman, Jake Idol in the First Round of the Mid South Tag Team Series
The last tag team match of the First Round pits Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta, accompanied by Sweet Tabitha, against Ernest Youngman and his long-time friend and new face here in LSW, "Hollywood" Jake Idol. In an open bout that has great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Ernest Youngman scores the pinfall for his tag team when he pins Johnny Needham in ten minutes after the hit. I due heels si stanno dimostrando davvero temibili as a duo, but their Semifinals match will be really hard, as they are set to square up against The American Cobras. [57]

Back in their locker room, The Most Wanted ask their leader Bradley Blaze why he saved Joffy Laine from The Strong Hand's assault earlier on. "The Renegade" explains his actions by saying that he certainly did not do it out of the goodness of his heart, but rather out of self-interest. In fact, if The Strong Hand had gotten his hands on "The Jackhammer," the champ would probably be on a stretcher on his way to the nearest emergency room at this point; and without the able-bodied and enlisted Texas Heavyweight champ, Bradley Blaze could not get a new title match for himself. The Big Guns and Maverick Chip Martin kinda agree with their leader now, also pointing out that Texas Hangman is increasingly becoming a thorn in their side that deserves a lesson. [31]

The Big Guns vs The Hive in the Semifinals of the Mid South Tag Team Series
In a bout that has good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, The Big Guns and The Hive start with a slower pace, with multiple holds and playing a lot on the classic spot where the struggling babyface manages to make a hot tag after several minutes. After about eleven minutes, The Big Guns attempt their Law Of The West who already defeated Joffy Laine and Miller Fforde earlier on, but Remmy Honeyman manages to foil the danger by giving the tag to Quentin Queen. The Big Guns don't notice right away, especially Outlaw Wes Revell who is caught by "Double Q," deftly putting him down with a quick cradle that surprisingly goes all the way to the three-count! The Hive just defeated The Big Guns, one-two-three, gaining a spot in the finals with two quick cradle wins tonight, what a performance so far! [49]

We're heading backstage where Miller Fforde has a noticeable bag of ice on his shoulder, selling the impact of the Law Of The West by The Big Guns that sent him down and out in the opening match. "The Fighting Underdog" is joined and poked by Maverick Chip Martin, who informs Miller Fforde of how much he enjoyed the scene of him being backed by his friends earlier on. Miller Fforde tries to let the trash-talking of "The Maverick" slide on him, later asking if he is happy with the man he is becoming, a trash-talking loudmouth son a gun, before saying he feels sorry for his poor father. Chip Martin snaps, immediately losing his patience and saying that he dare not talk about his failed father Johnny Martin ever again! Miller Fforde lets out a bitter laugh, retorting that the only failure here is Chip Martin himself, before leaving him alone in the lobby. [30]

The American Cobras vs Ernest Youngman, Jake Idol in the Semifinals of the Mid South Tag Team Series
LSW Tag Team champs The American Cobras square up against Ernest Youngman and his long-time friend Jake Idol, in a bout that has superb wrestling and good heat. Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane get a tag team specialist bonus, while Ernest Youngman and Venus Angeletti have great chemistry. The match is hard fought and could go either way, but in the end it is the two heels who take home, perhaps somewhat surprisingly, qualification for the finals, as "Hollywood" Jake Idol pins Marvel Malloy after fourteen minutes, illegally using the ropes for leverage right after a distraction from Venus Angeletti. [63]

In a recorded video message, EBK talk about their exclusion from the Mid South Tag Series as punishment for "assaulting" Rayne Man, with Bullseye doing most of the talking while Waylon Walls stares menacingly at the camera. Using their hood slang, EBK sends back accusations that they were involved in a partnership with Vinny Cruz and Cali Slick, saying no one could prove the thing anyway. The reason for their assault? Well, Bullseye and Waylon Walls say they don't want to talk to her, thus increasing doubts about whether they were hired by Vinny Cruz to hurt Rayne Man, ending their promo by saying that if anyone had anything to blame them for, they can do it very soon when they will be back in LSW. [28]

Ricky Dale Johnson is busy with his assistant Mya Catalan, reminding her of the ceremonial process for the upcoming final of the Series, when the boss is joined by The Strong Hand. Back in charge apparently, "The Preacher" Travis Century delights us with his usual sermons by demanding another title shot for Texas Hangman at the LSW Texas Heavyweight championsip as he was robbed last time, and of course also demanding that he be able to repay the wrong done to him by Renegade Bradley Blaze, author of the assault that caused the No Contest during Hangman's title match. Because The Strong Hand is the icarnation and the Lord and his words, and as he wisely said "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay". RDJ handles the situation immediately, saying he has the perfect solution to resolve the situation. In a couple of weeks at LSW Unchained, Texas Hangman and Cobra will team up against Joffy Laine and Renegade Bradley Blaze, and should The Strong Hand triumph, then Texas Hangman will get a new title shot. Should the strange Laine-Blaze duo take home the victory, however, then it would be Renegade Bradley Blaze who would earn one more chance at the LSW Texas Hevayweight title! [45]

The Hive vs Ernest Youngman, Jake Idol for the Mid South Tag Team Series
And now it's time for the main event, the final, who will win the Mid South Tag Team Series? The Hive came into this match with two quick cradle wins over the course of the evening, also eliminating last year's winners The Big Guns. Not to be outdone were Ernest Youngman and Jake Idol, who were able to defeat The Heartbreak Express in the First Round and the current LSW Tag Team champs The American Cobras in the semifinals. In a bout that has good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, there are a couple of spots with references to what has happened in the tournament so far, with The Hive going close to victory again with a quick cradle, and with Jake Idol nearly taking home another win by illegally using the ropes for leverage. After fifteen minutes as Ernest Youngman and Remmy Honeyman are the legal men, Prime Time Jack Pryde suddenly appears on the stage and rushes onto the apron, disturbing the member of The Hive who shoves him down at ringside. Quentin Queen in turn comes down from the apron to go toe-to-toe with the intruder, asking what the hell he wants, however, getting knocked out by a Lariat from Jake Idol that bypassed "Double Q"! Jack Pryde makes to scamper off the stage, while Remmy Honeyman is hunted down in the middle of the ring by Ernest Youngman: THE HIT! 1 ... 2 .. 3!! "The Assassin" scores the winning pinfall following an interference from Prime Time Jack Pryde and his team wins the 2nd edition of the Mid South Tag Series! [55]

After the bell, there is already no sign of Jack Pryde, who has disappeared into the audience. Ernest Youngman, Jake Idol and Venus Angeletti exchange glances, making it clear that they are surprised by the interference of "Prime Time" and therefore not in cahoots with them. In any case, there is no reason to worry but rather it's time to celebrate! Ricky Dale Johnson and Mya Catalan join the winning tag team, unfazed by what just happened, going to shake hands with "The Assassin" and "Hollywood" and handing them the Mid South Tag Series trophy. [57]

Great show! Surprised on The Hive and their run in the tournament but they are both veterans who have formed a solid duo and earned it. Definitely happy to see Ernest Youngman and Jake Idol get this win.

Preview for LSW Unchained 2021

Prime Time Jack Pryde vs Kip Keenan
After spontaneously helping Ernest Youngman and "Hollywood" Jake Idol, despite "The Assassin" previously snubbed his proposal to team up, Prime Time Jack Pryde is the talk of the town here in Lone Star Wrestling. At Unchained, however, Jack Pryde will have to let his actions in the ring do the talking rather than those outside of it. In a one-on-one, "Prime Time" will square up against "The American Eagle" Kip Keenan, a talented babyface who has recently arrived in the Mid South and is trying to put together an early streak of good results.

The War Engine (The Architect, The Dreadnought) vs The Heartbreak Express (Johnny Needham, Ralph Liotta)
Eliminated from the Series due to a lapse of attention by The Architect, who got caught unprepared on a quick cradle by Remmy Honeyman of the Hive, The War Engine is fired up again and warming up its motors to get back on track with a convincing victory. The Architect and The Dreadnought will be able to do that at LSW Unchained, where they will square up against The Heartbreak Express, also eliminated in the First Round of the Mid South Tag Series.

Maverick Chip Martin vs Miller Fforde
Following their face-to-face in the backstage recently, Miller Fforde found a raw nerve of Maverick Chip Martin, labeling him as a big disappointment to his poor father Johnny Martin, who was last seen months and months ago when he ended up the victim of his own son's Superkick turned heel. Maverick Chip Martin asked RDJ and got another singles match against Miller Fforde, eager to shut his mouth.

We will also hear it from Cali Slick! "The Draw" will be at LSW Unchained, accompanied by his agent Vinny Cruz.

“Hollywood” Jake Idol vs Remmy Honeyman
What a debut for "Hollywood" Jake Idol in LSW! The tall, good-looking wrestler from California arrived in the Mid South just a couple of weeks ago, teaming up with his long-time friend Ernest Youngman and helping him win the Series. In the finals, "Hollywood" and "The Assassin" defeated The Hive, thanks in part to Prime Time Jack Pryde's interference for which we still have no explanation. However, at LSW Unchained Jake Idol will have to show off in a singles match against Remmy Honeyman, one half of The Hive, and surely the middleweight babyface will want to take a nice rematch after coming within a step of winning the trophy.

Joffy Laine, Renegade Bradley Blaze vs The Strong Hand (Cobra, Texas Hangman)
A huge tag team bout announced by Ricky Dale Johnson back at LSW Mid South Tag Series 2, the Texas Heavyweight champ Joffy Laine is curiously set to team up with his rival Renegade Bradley Blaze Their opponents are a certainly more seasoned and cohesive duo, Texas Hangman and Cobra. The stipulation of the match is pretty simple, should The Strong Hand triumph then Texas Hangman would get a championship match against Joffy Laine, while if it was the wacky Laine-Blaze duo that took home the victory then Renegade Bradley Blaze would get a new title shot. Probably the only one not excited about this match is Joffy Laine, who is forced to team with his bloody rival.

Big Hustle vs Left Shot Bradford in a Brass Knuckles match
And in the main event, we could see the end of a long rivalry that started in September 2020 during the Final match of the King of the Rodeo. On that occasion it was Big Hustle who triumphed, finding himself fortunately over Left Shot for the pinfall as both competitors were knocked out by their respective signature moves, and from that moment Left Shot Bradford wanted to impose himself on "The Hustler," succeeding twice at both LSW Hell Froze Over 2020 and LSW Dust Bowl 2021, both times, however, in tainted wins that did not sanction the superiority of the bad ass heel. Big Hustle took some satisfaction as well, eliminating his rival with a bit of luck in the Texan Rumble 2021 and costing him the opportunity to become the first ever LSW Brass Knuckles champ by interfering in the inaugural title match and hitting Left Shot just - ironically - with a brass knuckles. So much history between the two stars over the past six months, now it's time to settle the score! IN A BRASS KNUCKLES MATCH!

LSW Unchained 2021
Sunday, Week 3, April 2021
Held in Arlington, TX (Mid South) in front of 564 people
28,183 viewers on WrestleWorld

The opening segment sees Ernest Youngman, his valet Venus Angeletti, and his long-time friend "Hollywood" Jake Idol talking about their recent Mid South Tag Series win, showing all the fans in attendance here in Arlington their shining trophy. Prime Time Jack Pryde interrupts them, joining them in the squared circle and congratulating them, while pointing out his substantial help in the Series finale, claiming that he especially showed Ernest Youngman that he could be trusted. "The Assassin" and Co. however do not see it the same way, claiming that they would surely have triumphed even without his hand, and Ernest Youngman further tells Jack Pryde that he can trust very few people in the world, and here in Lone Star Wrestling only Venus Angeletti and Jake Idol are part of his "Inner Circle". Still in a good mood, however, the trio wishes the cocky rookie good luck for the future and leaves him alone in the ring, where a one-on-one featuring him will be staged shortly. [47]

Kip Keenan vs Prime Time Jack Pryde
Still on the ramp at the sound of the bell, Jake Idol convinces Ernest Youngman and Venus Angeletti to stop by the stage to enjoy the Prime Time Jack Pryde match, however intrigued and entertained by the rookie, after all, what do they have to do backstage? In a bout that has a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, due in part to the bad chemistry between the two competitors, Kip Keenan is able to score the pinfall on Prime Time Jack Pryde after around eight minutes with a Belly To Belly Suplex. The dirty tricks and tactics of Jack Pryde were not enough as he recovers another defeat, and a few amused and bitter grimaces appear on the face of The Inner Circle as Youngman, Idol and Angeletti return backstage. [33]

Certainly not a news, Ricky Dale Johnson is interrupted backstage, this by The Big Guns who demand they a tag team championships rematch as soon as possible. RDJ reassures them by saying that they can take advantage of their clause soon, but not tonight because Tag Team champs The American Cobras are not in attendance. Ernest Youngman and Jake Idol, returning from the stage, insert themselves into the conversation, teasing The Big Guns and saying that maybe they should line up behind them for a title match, since "The Assassin" and "Hollywood" defeated The American Cobras and won the Mid South Tag Series. And speaking of the tournament, The Hive also join the party, claiming that without Prime Time Jack Pryde's interference at this point they would be the winners of the Series. RDJ already seems bored by the hubbub going on, saying he will find the best way to handle the situation, then walking away along with his assistant Mya Catalan. [49]

The War Engine (The Architect, The Dreadnought) vs The Heartbreak Express (Johnny Needham, Ralph Liotta)
In a decent match, once again The Dreadnought dominates the match on a physical level, with The Heartbreak Express fighting tooth and nail, also connecting a few cool combined maneuvers, but eventually surrendering to the behemoth's incredible strength. After nine minutes, The Architect once again gets the tag with the job almost done, this time without being surprised and submitting Ralph Liotta in the middle of the ring with his Blueprint. The announcing quality lifts the match, Sweet Tabitha does some good work at ringside, and all of this combined gets the crowd hotter. [41]

The Brass Knuckles champ Rob Reynolds is in the backstage area, talking with his friend Al Coleman, with whom he teamed up multiple times already. Raphael, who lately feuded with "Mr. Submission" bursts onto the scene teasing both Al Coleman and Rob Reynolds himself and his brand-new championship. However, Tavon Blake Jr also appears and immediately goes toe-to-toe with Raphael, not having forgotten that last time in LSW "The Grappler" was injured in the ankle by "The Masterpiece" himself. Rob Reynolds tries to keep Tavon Blake Jr at bay, then throwing down a gauntlet to Raphael: "The Motor City Menace" says he should talk to Ricky Dale Johnson in a few minutes about other matters, and that he will also offer him a three-on-three for tonight against Raphael and two partners of his choice, should he find someone willing to team up with an obnoxious narcissistic like himself. [36]

Maverick Chip Martin is already in the ring ready for his match, when his opponent Miller Fforde makes his entrance, stopping on the ramp and asking with his finger to wait a moment ... And there appears a figure behind him, who will accompany him in his match tonight ... JOHNNY MARTIN! Chip Martin's father, last seen months and months ago after his own son hit him with a vicious Superkick while turning heel, is back here in Lone Star Wrestling, called by Miller Fforde to assist him in this match against "The Maverick." [33]

Maverick Chip Martin vs Miller Fforde
Maverick Chip Martin is quite shocked and sells it well, hurling epithets and shouts at his father at ringside and telling him to leave. Johnny Martin, however, shakes his head in great disappointment, then going on to cheer on Miller Fforde. In a decent match that lasts around eight minutes, this time it is Chip Martin who is more aggressive, probably also due to the presence of his father at ringside. "The Fighting Underdog" Miller Fforde, however, listens to Johnny Martin's advice and manages to defeat Maverick Chip Martin again by pinfall with a Fforde Flip Face Crusher. [38]

Bullseye and Waylon Walls are walking backstage with bravado, on their way to the stage, when they are jumped by Rayne Man! The veteran babyface is beside himself and manages to catch EBK unprepared, getting the upper hand despite being outnumbered thanks to the surprise effect. Waylon Walls and Bullseye get roughed up good and within a minute they both find themselves down and out. The latter is then approached again by a really furious Rayne Man, who has picked up a fire extinguisher in his hands backstage and vows to throw it at Bullseye if he does not answer his question: who was behind their assault on Rayne Man! Bullseye prevaricates, saying that "he ain't no snitch, he ain't no rat," but then terrified by the idea that that heavy fire extinguisher might end up on his skull he decides to empty the bag: VINNY CRUZ HIRED THEM! VINNY CRUZ PAID THEM! A strong doubt now becomes a certainty, as Rayne Man leaves the fire extinguisher on the ground and "pardons" Bullseye, presumably going after Cali Slick and Vinny Cruz for some good ol' payback. [30]

“Hollywood” Jake Idol vs Remmy Honeyman
Very present in this event, Jake Idol is once again in the ring, ready for his first singles match here in Lone Star Wrestling, accompanied by Ernest Youngman and Venus Angeletti. His opponent is Remmy Honeyman, one half of The Hive who came up short during the Final of the Series right against the Youngman-Idol duo, accompanied to the ring by his partner Quentin Queen. In a bout that has good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, "Hollywood" Jake Idol is able to connect the Reality Check after twelve minutes, defeating Remmy Honeyman by pinfall. [47]

Still backstage, Vinny Cruz runs worriedly toward his client Cali Slick, saying that Rayne Man has "talked" to EBK and is now looking for them, suggesting that "The Draw" get the hell out of there. Cali Slick replies that he should go to the ring up next to talk about his next targets, but eventually Vinny Cruz manages to convince Cali Slick to beat a retreat, as Rayne Man seems to be really pissed with them and will definitely seek physical confrontation. "The Draw" and his agent quickly catch up to a black SUV in the parking lot, with Cali Slick making it clear to Vinny Cruz that he will have to solve this problem, before the two speed off. [34]

Al Coleman, Rob Reynolds, Tavon Blake Jr vs Raphael, The Canadian Blondes (Flash Savage, Ozzie Goldstein)
Rob Reynolds was able to convince RDJ to make this three-on-three official and Raphael actually found two partners willing to team up with an obnoxious narcissist like him, and they are two obnoxious narcissists themselves: The Canadian Blondes! In an open bout that has good heat and decent wrestling, the heels bring home the W as Raphael pins Tavon Blake Jr in eleven minutes with a Cupid's Arrow. [43]

Getting ready for their match, Joffy Laine and Renegade Bradley Blaze find themselves backstage to share a talk before tag team action. Joffy Laine is clearly not satisfied with having to team with his #1 rival here in Lone Star Wrestling, and he can't even say what the ideal outcome for his match would be. Bradley Blaze plays his game, clearly telling "The Jackhammer" that he knows how much Joffy Laine fears Texas Hangman, that he knows how much the champ fears that behemoth can snatch the Texas Heavyweight title from him. Therefore, "The Renegade" motivates Joffy Laine to say 110% this evening so he can take home the win and have Renegade Bradley Blaze return to being the No. One Contender, with the two then able to face each other in a "fair" one-on-one for the LSW Texas Heavyweight championship. Bradley Blaze leaves Joffy Laine in place to make his entrance, while a pensive champ pauses to reflect a few moments longer: does "The Jackhammer" really fear Texas Hangman? Does he really think Bradley Blaze is less dangerous than he is? So many questions swirling in his head, but now it's time to focus on the match! [53]

Joffy Laine, Renegade Bradley Blaze vs The Strong Hand (Cobra, Texas Hangman)
In a superb match, Joffy Laine and Renegade Bradley Blaze strive to cooperate as much as possible against Texas Hangman and Cobra, who led by Travis Century manage to impose their physical superiority. After a hard-fought bout we reach the final stages; Renegade Bradley Blaze attempts the Dallas Drop on Texas Hangman, however, failing the maneuver, and being hit with a Big Boot by the big heavyweight. Meanwhile, Cobra joined Joffy Laine at ringside, pushing him from the legs all the way down the apron. The two non-legal men struggle and Cobra gets the worst of it, finishing shoulder first against the steel steps. The Texas Heavyweight champ returns to the apron, not realizing, however, that Texas Hangman already has him in his sights and catches up with a Big Boot! Joffy Laine ends up down and out, as "The Hangman" again focuses on a rediscovered Renegade Bradley Blaze, grabbing him around the neck. "The Renegade" manages to break the choke the first time, but after a few moments Texas Hangman grabs him back around the neck and connects his devastating Choke Slam: 1 ... 2 .. 3!! The Strong Hand wins the tag team bout after sixteen minutes, and Texas Hangman just secured a new title shot against Joffy Laine for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title. [54]

And we're ready for the main event! A huge staredown right before the bell gives the idea of the clash we are about to witness between two charismatic personalities, as the volume inside the venue rises. Left Shot Bradford, already "armed" with brass knuckles at his lethal left hand stares into the eyes his rival Big Hustle, who reciprocates the icy stare before in turn pulling out the brass knuckles that are legal in this match. It's revenge season for Big Hustle, it's time to beat down his rival once and for all for Left Shot, it's a Brass Knuckles match! DIN DIN DIN! [55]

Big Hustle vs Left Shot Bradford in a Brass Knuckles match
The bout starts off strong right away with Big Hustle throwing himself on his rival immediately after the bell, taking him to the mat and starting some ground and pound with both competitors more committed to blocking each other's brass knuckles punches. In an exceptional match, definitely one of the best one-on-one matches of these first 16 months of Lone Star Wrestling, Big Hustle and Left Shot manage to use brass knuckles in the middle part of the bout, but only with body shots and not face shots. Minutes pass and after more than a quarter of an hour, Big Hustle finds the decisive blow: HUSTLER'S HEADBUTT! Left Shot crumbles on the mat, but is lucky and smart in rolling out of the squared circle, with an exhausted Big Hustle trying to hold him in the ring for a pinfall, failing miserably. "The Hustler" succeeds in bringing him back into the ring, but in the meantime Left Shot has managed to sneak hold of one of the two brass knuckles that had ended up at ringside. The pinfall attempt by Big Hustle is now well overdue and Left Shot is able to kick out, "The Hustler" then lifts his rival back up to attempt a second Hustler's Headbutt but, like lightning, Left Shot sets off a BRASS KNUCKLES DREAM LEFT HOOK! The strength of the punch combined with the toughness of the brass knuckles sends Big Hustle into dreamland, as "The King of the Rodeo" ends up KO by collapsing to his knees, right in front of Left Shot. The menacing heel enjoys the moment, anticipates victory, loads his hook again and hits for a second time a kneeling Big Hustle: BRASS KNUCKLES DREAM LEFT HOOK! The pinfall is just a formality at this point, Left Shot goes for the cover and scores the victory on his rival. Great tough match, from which Left Shot Bradford emerged triumphant. [61]

Preview for LSW No Way Out of the Cage 2021

xmonEZV.png
Rob Reynolds Open Challenge for the LSW Brass Knuckles title

"The Motor City Menace" Rob Reynolds became the inaugural Brass Knuckles champ a couple of months ago, triumphing over Left Shot Bradford in a hard-fought match. Determined to bring prestige to his new title belt and determined to be recognized as a fighting champion, the Asian-American from Detroit got the go-ahead from Ricky Dale Johnson to issue an open challenge for his first title defense. Who will answer the challenge? As a reminder, the Brass Knuckles title has to be defended in a No DQ match.

Kip Keenan vs Maverick Chip Martin
With two wins behind him in his first two singles matches, Kip Keenan is set to square up against The Most Wanted young gun, Maverick Chip Martin. Still reeling from losing to Miller Fforde, who in their last match had his father Johnny Martin in his corner, "The Maverick" wants to shake off the shadows of the last few defeats by stopping the momentum of "The American Eagle" Kip Keenan, who is hungry and determined to climb the ranks quickly here in LSW.

Al Coleman, Tavon Blake Jr vs The Canadian Blondes (Flash Savage, Ozzie Goldstein)
Already involved on opposite sides at LSW Unchained 2021 in a three-on-three bout, The Canadian Blondes will find themselves up in tag team action against Al Coleman and Tavon Blake Jr, two respectable babyfaces who will team up for the first time here in the Mid South. At the Blondes' corner it is rumored that there will be another pretty face, "The Masterpiece" Raphael, who in the past has had several tensions with both Al Coleman and Tavon Blake Jr.

Also, it was announced that Vinny Cruz obtained a one-on-one meeting with Rayne Man, allegedly to bury the hatchet.
It is expected that Cali Slick will not take part in it.

The Architect vs Ralph Liotta
The War Engine triumphed over The Heartbreak Express last month, largely due to the physical overpower of The Dreadnought that derailed the opponents' chances of victory. This allowed The Architect to take advantage of the impressive ally's work to back Ralph Liotta for the win. Mocking The Heartbreak Express in the following days, The Architect was called out by Ralph Liotta to a one versus one match, in which The Dreadnought could not solve problems for him. The owner Ricky Dale Johnson liked the idea a lot and made the bout official, a little less so for The Architect who now finds himself having to perform without the help of the masked behemoth he has the luxury of having as his partner.

The Hive (Remmy Honeyman, Quentin Queen) vs Ernest Youngman, Jake Idol in a No. One Contenders match
In a remake of the Mid South Tag Series final, The Hive are set to square up against the "Inner Circle" consisting of Ernest Youngman and "Hollywood" Jake Idol. LSW Tag Team champs The American Cobras will soon have to defend their title belts against The Big Guns, who are due a championship rematch. The duo who will come out with championships around their waists will then have to clash with the tag team winner of this match, who will have earned the spot as No. One Contenders for the tag straps. There is a lot of movement within the tag team division, and it will be interesting to see which duo will come out on top.

Hl1JXzc.png
Joffy Laine (c) vs Texas Hangman in a Cage match for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title

Texan Rumble winner Texas Hangman failed his first title shot at the LSW Texas Heavyweight title at LSW Dust Bowl 2021 back in February when Renegade Bradley Blaze and The Most Wanted stormed into the match and caused a No Contest. Now again No. One Contender after winning alongside Cobra a tag team match against Joffy Laine and Bradley Blaze, "The Strong Hand" of Texas Hangman is ready to snatch the primary championship in the Mid South. It will take a big, big performance by "The Jackhammer" Joffy Laine to defend his crown, locked in a steel structure with a 6'7, 360lb menacing opponent. There will be no way out of the cage! It's Laine vs Hangman in the main event!

Who will answer Rob Reynolds’ open challenge? [1 Pts] I think Big Hustle could be the challenger and there's an interference by Left Shot Bradford

Kip Keenan vs Maverick Chip Martin [1 Pts]

Maverick Chip Martin is on a losing streak and probably needs this win more, but I think Kip Keenan won't lose this clean, I expect The Most Wanted to have an impact in this match.

LSW No Way Out of the Cage 2021 Predictions

LSW Brass Knuckles Title Open Challenge: Rob Reynolds (c) def. "Prime Time" Jack Pryde
I can't see this title being dropped in its first ever defence and Prime Time makes sense as an over confident first challenger. Also considered Left Shot Bradford, but think Pryde might make more sense

Kip Keenan def. Maverick Chip Martin
Kip Keenan keeps his streak going with a win of the Maverick

The Canadian Blondes def. Al Coleman/Tavon Blake Jr.
Established team beats the two solo guys

Ralph Liotta def. The Architect
Continue the feud by having The Architect lose without Dreadnought in the match

Tag Team #1 Contenders Match: The Inner Circle def. The Hive
Would be a bit odd to have The Inner Circle win the Mid South Tag Series and not get a shot at the titles.

LSW Texas Heavyweight Title Cage Match: Texas Hangman def. Joffy Laine (c)
With how much you've been building up Texas Hangman, feels like this is the natural conclusion, particularly with Laine locked in the cage with him.

LSW No Way Out of the Cage 2021
Sunday, Week 3, May 2021
Held in Houston, TX (Mid South) in front of 601 people
29,341 viewers on WrestleWorld

The LSW Brass Knuckles champ Rob Reynolds opens the show, arriving in the ring with his wrench in his hands and title belt firmly around his waist, inviting anyone in the locker room to respond to his open challenge. Travis Century appears on stage, alongside the silent Cobra, beginning to preach against Rob Reynolds, Joffy Laine, Bradley Blaze, and about anyone in LSW, arguing how today is the "Judgment Day" for the promotion, as his "brothers" will allow The Strong Hand to grab both singles championships. Texas Hangman, in fact, will become Texas Heavyweight champ in the main event, while Cobra will take the Brass Knuckles champ! He's answering the challenge! [35]

xmonEZV.png
Rob Reynolds (c) vs Cobra in a No DQ Open Challenge match for the LSW Brass Knuckles title.
Challenged by Travis Century, who points out that his adept Cobra is bare-knuckled, Rob Reynolds decides to drop his wrenches to the floor to have a fair fight. "The Motor City Menace" quickly regrets his choice, as Cobra takes possession of the wrench after the first few exchanges, repeatedly hitting the champ with it. In a good match that gets the crowd hotter, Cobra goes close to victory but eventually fails, as Rob Reynolds is able to defeat him after ten minutes with a Real Deal Rocker, despite Travis Century's interferences and distractions. Once again, a NO DQ match that focuses on the lack of classic rules and only one blunt object, rather than featuring tons of weapons. Rob Reynolds makes defense number one of the LSW Brass Knuckles title. [49]

Kip Keenan vs Maverick Chip Martin
It’s immediately time for another bout, as Kip Keenan scores his third singles win in a row, defeating Maverick Chip Martin in eight minutes by pinfall with a Belly To Belly Suplex. The match turns out to be decent, despite the two competitors just don't click at all and it shows in their performances. Compared to usual, Maverick Chip Martin fights more assertively and aggressively, perhaps still scarred by the defeat against Miller Fforde with his disowned father Johnny Martin in his corner. The announcing quality lifts the match. [35]

In a segment inside the squared circle, tag team champs The American Cobras call out The Big Guns for a face-to-face, as the four competitors talk about their rivalry that has been carried on here in the Mid South for over a year. Ready for their championship rematch, Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell will finally be able to use their clause next month at LSW Sundown Showdown 2021, in a bout for which Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane say they are already prepared for. It will be the tag team match that decrees the best team in LSW once and for all, or at least that is the only point on which The American Cobras and The Big Guns agree. The duos end their face-to-face with a staredown as the Cobras lift their title belts up into the air. Outlaw Wes Revell performs poorly in this segment, struggling without having a script to follow. [42]

Al Coleman, Tavon Blake Jr vs The Canadian Blondes (Flash Savage, Ozzie Goldstein)
As expected, Raphael reaches the squared circle and stops at ringside, giving a few snooty looks toward Al Coleman and Tavon Blake Jr, before getting the nod with the two obnoxious heels Flash Savage and Ozzie Goldstein. In a decent match, The Canadian Blondes take home the W in around nine minutes, when Ozzie Goldstein pins Tavon Blake Jr with a fast roll up, aided by a distraction by "The Masterpiece" Raphael, who then congratulates The Canadian Blondes at the end of the match, to whom he seems to be growing closer. [35]

Surprisingly, Big Hustle makes his way into the ring, having a microphone in his hand. "The Hustler" talks about his recent past here in Lone Star Wrestling, already full of important moments and matches, crowned by winning the first King Of The Rodeo tournament, but also the recent defeat against Left Shot Bradford in a Brass Knuckles match. Big Hustle then gets to his future, admitting that in all likelihood his future will NOT be in the Mid South. The audience noises, but then supports "The Hustler" who explains how he feels his path in LSW should stop here, looking for new challenges for his career. A serious and emotional speech, however, interrupted by Every Body Killaz! Bullseye and Waylon Walls label Big Hustle as a loser, ready to run away after being embarassed. Big Hustle responds in kind, saying that at the very least he "ain't no rat"! "The King of the Rodeo" teases EBK after what happened between them and Rayne Man recently, and out of that comes a challenge from Waylon Walls for a right here, right now match. Big Hustle says he is thrilled to be able to kick some deserving ass in front of the LSW audience, and after a few moments a referee is sent from backstage directly to the ring: we have a match! [38]

Big Hustle vs Waylon Walls
In what will probably be his last match in the Mid South, Big Hustle gives the fans a convincing performance in a good match against Waylon Walls. Bullseye's initial distraction is to no avail, with "The King of the Rodeo" managing to impose himself on his opponent in just over six minutes, defeating him by pinfall with a Hustler's Headbutt. And as EBK recoils defeated backstage, Big Hustle thanks the crowd in Houston who give him a well-deserved round of applause. Hope to see you again sometime soon, good luck Big Hustle! [59]

The crew takes us backstage, where Left Shot Bradford has just "enjoyed" the farewell of Bug Hustle, his recent rival whom he defeated in a brass knuckles match just last month. Left Shot seems satisfied with kicking "The Hustler" out of LSW, letting loose a mocking grin. The vicious heel is then confronted by Kip Keenan, his former partner back in their Puerto Rico days with whom tensions have begun to build in recent months. "The American Eagle" insists that here he has found a changed Braford, even more ruthless and lonely, but Left Shot responds in kind by warning Kip Keenan that he does not need an analyst; Left Shot claims that he is in his prime, that he has never been more confident in his abilities, and that very soon he will be at the top of the promotion. If, however, Kip Keenan wants to keep sticking his nose in his business, Left Shot says he is happy to smash his face in with a Dream Left Hook at the next event in Lone Star Wrestling. "The American Eagle" accepts the challenge, saying he will talk to the ownership to officialize a match against Bradford and humble his @$$! [48]

The Architect vs Ralph Liotta
With The Dreadnought at one corner, and Johnny Needham and Sweet Tabitha on the other one, The Architect and Ralph Liotta square up in a one versus one, as the scheming heel has to fend for himself against one half of The Heartbreak Express, without the help of his huge partner who had been doing all the heavy lifting lately, paving the way for victory for The Architect. In a decent match, Ralph Liotta actually manages to get his opponent in trouble, but eventually The Architect is able to lock Ralph Liotta in his Blueprint, forcing him to submit after eleven minutes. [45]

Rayne Man reaches the ring to have meeting with Vinny Cruz, who months ago preferred Cali Slick to him, setting off a long and violent rivalry between them. Vinny Cruz is escorted to the ring by his security guard called Big Smash Clay, an imposing bald guy in black clothes. The Agent basically admits to Rayne Man that he is the instigator of the assault of EBK saying, however, that he has no intention, and like him his client Cali Slick, of continuing this rivalry. The Agent and his client have big goals and want to focus on their next moves to takeover LSW. For this reasons, Vinny Cruz offers a handshake to Rayne Man. The veteran babyface decides to shake his hand, adding, however, that he has no intention of burying the hatchet before giving Cali Slick a resounding lesson! Rayne Man begins to shake Vinny Cruz's hand more and more, who begins to wiggle in pain, adding that he has an incredible urge to teach him a lesson too! At this point, the security guard promptly intervenes, blocking Rayne Man's wrist and releasing Vinny Cruz from his grip, before going face-to-face with Rayne Man. Tension rises, but suddenly it is to third party to make the assault:CALI SLICK BLINDSIDES RAYNE MAN! "The Draw" appears out of nowhere, decidedly furious with Rayne Man for not putting their rifts behind him yet, yelling that he'll take care of it, ending Rayne Man's career right here, right now, too. Cali Slick then proceeds to beat his rival down bad, launching him against railings and steel steps, before punching him in the face with his golden chain to knock him down. [39]

The Hive (Remmy Honeyman, Quentin Queen) vs Ernest Youngman, Jake Idol in a No. One Contenders match
It's time for a rematch from the Mid South Tag Series final, and this time the winners will get a title shot at the LSW Tag Team titles, which will soon be up for grabs for a championship rematch between current champs The American Cobras and former champs The Big Guns. In making their entrance, The Hive are surprised by an assault from behind by Prime Time Jack Pryde, still out here trying to make a good impression on "The Inner Circle." Realizing that Remmy Honeyman and Quentin Queen just regroup and are ready to punish him, Jack Pryde runs to the ring as he gets chased, but here Ernest Youngman and Jake Idol get out of the ring and get ahead of The Hive, setting off a brief pre-match brawl, as Jack Pryde lifts the curtains and disappears between the crowd. Once order returns, the referee kicks off a bout that has great wrestling and good heat, in which Ernest Youngman and Jake Idol eventually defeat The Hive in around fifteen minutes, when "Hollywood" Jake Idol pins Quentin Queen with a Reality Check. Ernest Youngman carries the match in terms of in-ring performance. "The Inner Circle" celebrate in the middle of the squared circle, as their run in the tag team division continues to be successful. [61]

In a taped video, Miller Fforde shows up alongside Johnny Martin, praising the retired veteran's career and saying he is excited about the idea of being able to work with him here in the Mid South, practically confirming the fact that Johnny Martin should partner with "The Fighting Underdog" as his manager, hoping that Miller Fforde can follow his advice more than his son Chip Martin did. [34]

And now it's time for the main event! The steel cage and structure is all set as Texas Heavyweight champ Joffy Laine and Texas Hangman, accompanied by Travis Century and Cobra, make their entrance, reaching the ring where they have an intense staredown, as a couple of staff members make sure to lock the cage door with a rather large padlock. It's time for a cage match! The only way to win is by pinfall or submission and exiting the cage by escaping will result in a forfeit, making the championship vacant should it be the champ who forfeits. No championship advantage, no way out! [51]

Hl1JXzc.png
Joffy Laine (c) vs Texas Hangman in a Cage match for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title
With Cobra and Travis Century out of the cage to cheer him on, Texas Hangman asserts himself in the early minutes over champ Joffy Laine, who suffers from the greater physicality of the No. One Contender, getting violently slammed several times against the cage. In a bout that has great heat and good wrestling, the champ is fueled by the cheers of the six hundred people here in Houston and puts Texas Hangman in serious trouble, perhaps as no one has ever done before, coming close to victory with his Death Spiral, only getting to a two-count, however. As Texas Hangman regains control of the match, suddenly here comes The Most Wanted group in full force, who within moments pounces on Cobra and batters him into a four-on-one that triggers screams and dismay from Travis Century. As Joffy Laine and Texas Hangman continue to battle up, Cowboy Buck Winchester pulls out some big shears, managing with some effort to break the lock! There are no way out of the cage, but apparently there's a way in! The Most Wanted storm into the squared circle and push Joffy Laine into the corner, then going on to resoundingly assault only "The Hangman", while referee just couldn't call for a DQ as there's none in this Cage stipulation. The big Texan fights back tooth and nail, however, suffering a Superkick to the chest by Maverick Chip Martin before a Law Of The West by Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell, finally getting hit by Renegade Bradley Blaze to the skull with shears! "The Renegade" then turns to Joffy Laine, ordering the champ to pin Texas Hangman. The champ refuses, yelling at The Most Wanted that this is not the way to triumph, this is not the way to win it! Kudos to "The Jackhammer" for his good spirit, but The Most Wanted are definitely not impressed, as Bradley Blaze hits him with the Dallas Drop and leaves him down and out, as The Big Guns pick him up by weight and place him on top of Texas Hangman for the cover, sticking to their plan, and also applying their own weight to avoid an unexpected kickout: 1 ... 2 .. 3!! And just like that, Joffy Laine retains the Texas Heavyweight title by pinning Texas Hangman! [54]

The show is closing, Texas Hangman is still down and out, and so is Cobra at ringside, while a desperate Travis Century tries to bring his "Hangman" to his senses. The Most Wanted have left the stage and Joffy Laine is also on his way out on the ramp, helped by the referee, with his championship in his hands. Suddenly, however, a pair of figures appear a few feet away from him at the beginning of the ramp! Cali Slick and his agent Vinny Cruz are out here, and "The Draw" clearly points at the Texas Heavyweight title, as the crew cuts the signal. [44]

Total Wrestling News: Sweet Tabitha Is Expecting

Great news for the pro wrestling world and Lone Star Wrestling, as valet Sweet Tabitha revealed on her social media pages that she is expecting! Obviously, given the physical nature of this business, she should stay out of the scene immediately to protect her health. Sweet Tabitha is in a relationship with fellow LSW wrestler, The Architect, since last year. Congratulations from the entire TWN.com family!

Preview for LSW Sundown Showdown 2021

EBK (Bullseye, Waylon Walls) vs The Oklahomans (Jason Patterson, Jules Night)
Following their assault on Rayne Man, EBK did not fare so well as the babyface veteran beat'em down backstage a couple of months ago, while last month Big Hustle easily defeated Waylon Walls in one-on-one action on his way out of Lone Star Wrestling. This tag team bout is the perfect chance to get back on track, but The Oklahomans will also certainly be looking to seize the opportunity against a struggling duo, finally finding a victory that would reverse their course here in the Mid South.

xmonEZV.png
Rob Reynolds Open Challenge for the LSW Brass Knuckles title

The open challenge returns after a successful first title defense from "The Motor City Menace," who defeated Cobra at LSW No Way Out of the Cage 2021. Again under brass knuckles rules, that is in a No Disqualification match, who will step up to try to snatch the Brass Knuckles championship from Rob Reynolds' hands?

Al Coleman vs The Architect
An exciting first time for this one-on-one bout between "Mr. Submission" Al Coleman and The Architect, a talented wrestler who is making his mark in the Mid South thanks to his partnership with The Dreadnought, but also thanks to his deadly submission hold known as Blueprint. It's sure to be an interesting match-up between two competitors who will try to force their oppenent to tap out as soon as possible, before they themselves end up in the enemy's submission hold that would leave them no chance.

TQS8hBT.png   TQS8hBT.png
The American Cobras (Malloy, Spillane) (c) vs The Big Guns (Winchester, Revell) for the LSW Tag Team titles

This championship rematch may very well be the tag team bout that decrees the best team in LSW once and for all, or at least that is the only point on which The American Cobras and The Big Guns seemed to agree in the last year and a half. Current tag champs Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane are called to their first title defense from the onslaught of Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell, former champs with a 300+ plus reigns behind them. Not only are the next No. One Contenders Ernest Youngman and Jake Idol looking forward to this match, but the entire Lone Star Wrestling tag team division, curious as to which duo will be the one to beat to dominate the Mid South.

Kip Keenan vs Left Shot Bradford
After throwing down the gauntlet at LSW last event, promptly picked up by his former partner back in their Puerto Rico days, Left Shot Bradford is set to collide against "The American Eagle" Kip Keenan, whose beak he wants to shut up and jaw he wants to fracture after a Dream Left Hook, thus never having to hear his "lectures" again. Kip Keenan, however, is a pure talent from Las Vegas, a young star in the making who may have what it takes to defeat a vicious competitor like Left Shot. It will be a great fight, and it is not at all easy to predict what will happen.

Renegade Bradley Blaze vs Texas Hangman
Probably the most anticipated match on the entire card, a singles match between Renegade Bradley Blaze and Texas Hangman. "The Renegade" and The Most Wanted cost Texas Hangman not once, but twice the chance to become the LSW Texas Heavyweight champ, recently interfering in a Cage match against Joffy Laine. Bradley Blaze explained the "crazy" reason for his assault by saying that he wanted to do a big favor to Joffy Laine who alone could never defeat "The Hangman," and now that the champ has retained the title belt because of him, Bradley Blaze expects Joffy Laine to return the favor by accepting one more championship rematch. For now neither "The Jackhammer" nor of ownership have granted the request, but Ricky Dale Johnson has instead made official a one versus one against a furious Texas Hangman who has promised to tear "The Renegade" apart, availing himself of the words of "The Preacher" Travis Century who has shown the way forward, that of vengeance by quoting the Lord: "Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.”

Also, Cali Slick just announced that he’ll be at LSW Sundown Showdown as he wants to call out the Texas Heavyweight champ Joffy Laine. What will happen?

Key for Predictions:
EBK (Bullseye, Waylon Walls) vs The Oklahomans (Jason Patterson, Jules Night) [1 Pts]
Open Challenge: Rob Reynolds (c) vs ??? in a No DQ match for the LSW Brass Knuckles title [1 Pts]
Al Coleman vs The Architect [1 Pts]
The American Cobras (c) vs The Big Guns for the LSW Tag Team titles [1 Pts]
Kip Keenan vs Left Shot Bradford [1 Pts]
Renegade Bradley Blaze vs Texas Hangman [1 Pts]
Will the confrontation between Cali Slick and Joffy Laine lead to a match right there at Sundown Showdown? [1 Pts]
