The show kicks off with Southern Heavyweight champ Luke Steele in the ring, mocking Big Hustle and laughing about the beating he gave him with a steel chain last week, hinting that “The Hustler” might be injured. The heel champ is soon interrupted by another heel, Archie Aldred III, arriving to the ring with his security guard Desert Storm at ringside. “The Oil Prince” hints at stepping up as Luke Steele’s next challenger if Big Hustle is indeed out of the picture, and tensions fill the air. The situation takes a turn when Big Hustle, very much not injured, appeared on stage to Luke Steele's shock! “The Hustler” declares he’s just fine and he’s the only “Unbreakable” man here, storming the ring and launching a fierce attack on Luke Steele. As chaos erupts, Archie Aldred III finds himself blindsided by his rival Buck Winchester, and gets saved by security guard Desert Storm who moves him out of the ring. Even Luke Steele retreats few seconds later, and with all three heels on the ramp, Governor Ricky Johnson comes out to announce a must-watch main event: Big Hustle and “The Lone Star Cowboy” Buck Winchester vs. Luke Steele and Archie Aldred III! [42]

The Mat Masters vs The Steam Express in a No. One Contender’s match

In a high-stakes No. One Contender’s match, heel Mat Masters square off against babyface Steam Express for a shot at the tag team titles held by The War Thunders, Eagle Two Tomahawk and Wild Red Stallion. The match is a technical showcase, with Warren Technique and Al Colemann using their wrestling prowess to keep The Steam Express duo on the defensive. Throughout the bout, sport agent Herb Stately plays a crucial role in distracting both Stanley Axis and Jason Patterson, throwing them off their game and allowing his team to capitalize. Sweet Tabitha tries to make him stop, but there’s really much the Express’ valet could do. After thirteen minutes, Jason Patterson finds himself trapped in Warren Technique's STF and has to tap out, giving The Mat Masters the victory and the No. One Contender’s spot. [42]

Backstage, Mya Catalan interviews Harvey Robbinfield, following the backstage beatdown he suffered thanks to Cobra last week. “The Mustang” doesn't dive too deep into the reasons of the attack, but he makes it clear that Cobra had crossed a line with his disrespect last week. Cobra got the better of him by catching him off guard, but that won’t happen again! With determination in his voice, Harvey Robbinfield issued a challenge for a one-on-one match next week, ready to settle the score. [20]

Jay Silver vs Mercy Michaels

In a hard-hitting brawl, heel Mercy Michaels defeats babyface Jay Silver in eight minutes. The match highlights Jay Silver’s impressive striking abilities, with his precise kicks and knee strikes keeping Mercy Michaels on the defensive for much of the bout. Despite his good striking, the ruthless brawling skills of Mercy Michaels and a distraction from Cockroach Carter - Mercy Michaels' partner at ringside - prove to be a crucial factor, as “The No Mercy Bastard” hits a Texas DDT to secure the victory. [32]

This week at Bucks Saloon, owner Haley Buck struggles to keep order as The Montana Lumberjacks - Kalder and Wolfie Tagg - takes over the bar with their rowdy antics. The brothers crack open one too many beers, becoming loud and unruly, and showing little respect for Haley's authority. Amid their chaotic behavior, the Lumberjacks make their intentions clear, boasting that they plan to chop down the entire tag team division just like they used to do with trees in hometown Montana. [20]

Jerry Lee Tennessee vs Romeo Romaro

Jerry Lee Tennessee squares off against Romeo Romaro - accompanied by his friend Rocco Renoir. Despite some offensive maneuver from the Canadian pretty boy, Tennessee’s experience turns the tide as the bout progressed. Just as Jerry Lee Tennessee is ready to hit his signature move, the Devil’s Crossroad, he suddenly hears the sound of a guitar playing. It isn't coming from the stage, though it had to be El Mariachi! For a moment, Jerry Lee hesitates, glancing around to locate the source of the music, but quickly regaining his focus and delivering the Devil’s Crossroad to Romeo Romaro: 1 .. 2 .. 3!! A great aggregate for the heels tonight, huh? [45]

After securing his victory, Jerry Lee Tennessee grabs a mic and once again addresses El Mariachi, warning him to stay out of his business. The blues musician, clearly agitated, makes it clear he doesn’t want to see the mysterious luchador ever again. However, before he could finish, Texas Hangman emerges on the ramp with his menacing presence. With a cold, eerie tone, “The Hangman” tells JLT not to worry about El Mariachi, but to focus on him instead! Texas Hangman then revealed that he has requested - and received - a rematch against Jerry Lee Tennesse for next week, after their first bout ended up in disqualification. JLT’s bravado quickly fades, fear taking over as he realizes he has to face the terrifying Hangman once again. [30]

From his office backstage, Governor Ricky Johnson hypes up the upcoming OCW SuperShow, scheduled to go live on Saturday, April 2nd, on The Bandit Network. The Commissioner keeps it short and to the point, promising fans an unforgettable night of wild west action. The countdown to the SuperShow begins! [74]

We stau backstage with interviewer Mya Catalan that catches up with Big Hustle and The Lone Star Cowboy backstage, interrupting their private conversation to get their thoughts on tonight’s main event. Both men delivers babyface promos, expressing confidence and determination heading into their tag team bout against Southern Heavyweight Champion Luke Steele and Archie Aldred III in tonight’s main event. “The Hustler” and Buck Winchester makes it clear they’re on the same page, fired up to beat their rivals and give them the punishment they deserve. [33]

Cactus Jack, Dynamite Martin, Pepper J vs Gunner Jackson, Gringo Loco, Manny Alvarez

In a six-man tag team bout, Cactus Jack, Dynamite Martin, and Pepper J face off against Gunner Jackson, Gringo Loco, and Manny Alvarez. Gunner Jackson puts on a strong performance, holding his ground throughout the match. After fourteen minutes, the action spill outside with Dynamite Martin and Manny Alvarez brawling at ringside, and the referee’s attention is diverted. Suddenly, Cobra appears out of nowhere! His unexpected interference catches even Cactus Jack and his team off guard, but they quickly capitalized, as Cobra jumps on the apron and hits Gringo Loco on the back, allowing Cactus Jack to nail his PrydeFall immediately after that: 1 .. 2 .. 3! The heels strike the victory, could this be a sign Cobra is reconsidering his refusal to join the alliance? [29]

After their victory, Cactus Jack, Dynamite Martin, Pepper J, and Jack’s girlfriend Lola Starr stand tall in the ring. The tension rises as Cobra enters and goes face-to-face with Cactus Jack. The crowd buzzes with anticipation, unsure of Cobra’s intentions. Jack Pryde, with a sly grin, slowly raises his left hand, forming a gun sign with his fingers. His allies quickly follow suit, creating a united front. Cobra hesitates, scanning the faces of his new potential allies, before finally lifting his hand and mimicking the gesture! Cactus Jack did it, he united the renegades! [25]

image.png

The OCW Southern Tag Team champions, The War Thunders enter The Outpost to a loud cheer from the crowd. The Native-American duo embraces the support, with Eagle Two Tomahawk taking the microphone, addressing his upcoming match against Conner Threepwood, mentioning how the heel specifically requested this one-on-one bout. While unsure of Conner Threepwood’s motives, Eagle Two Tomahawk makes it clear that The War Thunders are ready to fight, no matter what! [27]

image.png   image.png

Conner Threepwood vs Eagle Two Tomahawk

In a singles bout, Eagle Two Tomahawk, one half of the OCW Tag Team Champions, faces off against Conner Threepwood. From the opening bell, it’s clear that the heel competitors has a plan as he relentlessly targets Eagle's leg and ankle, aiming to neutralize the Native American babyface. Using a series of calculated stomps, holds, and submissions, Conner Threepwood works to weaken Eagle’s base, making it difficult for him to mount any significant offense. Despite the pain, Eagle Two Tomahawk showed incredible resilience - supported by his tag partner Wild Red Stallion at ringside - and in a sudden shift, Eagle catches Conner Threepwood off guard with a quick pinfall that Threepwood never saw coming: The referee counted to three, and Eagle Two Tomahawk secured the victory at the 13-minute mark! [38]

After the match, as a defeated Conner Threepwood walks up the ramp, he is met by Herb Stately and his clients The Mat Masters. The sport agent shakes hands with Conner Threepwood, congratulating him with a smirk and make it clear that The Mat Masters’ plan all along was to injure Eagle Two Tomahawk, who is noticeably limping after the bout. Satisfied with their scheme ahead of the upcoming title rematch against The War Thunders, Herb Stately and The Mat Masters seems pleased, pointing at the tag team championship. But the lingering question remains, what does Conner Threepwood gain from helping Herb Stately and his clients? [19]

image.png

As the main event gets underway, tensions keep brewing between "The Oil Prince" Archie Aldred III and "Unbreakable" Luke Steele. Before the bell, the two heels argue over who should start the match, showcasing their lack of chemistry and unwillingness to cooperate. Meanwhile, on the other side of the ring, The Lone Star Cowboy and Big Hustle couldn’t help but be amused by the dysfunction, enjoying the scene as their rivals keep bickering. It’s clear that one team is united, while the other is already falling apart before the match even started. [39]

image.pngimage.png   image.pngimage.png

Archie Aldred III, Luke Steele vs Big Hustle, The Lone Star Cowboy

Despite their fractions, Archie Aldred III and Luke Steele eventually seem willing to cooperate just to secure the win, but tensions quickly built. After a grueling battle, a fatigued and hurt Luke Steele once again decided to abandon his team - just like he did when teaming up with Sandman Winks - tagging in “The OiI Prince” and attempting to leave the ring. As “Unbreakable” tries to walk up the ramp, Desert Storm - AAIII's security - blocks him. Luke Steele shoves Desert Storm aside, but the guard throws the champ back into the ring! Luke Steele is furious, leaning on the apron and shouting at Desert Storm. Meanwhile, Archie Aldred III tags Luke Steele back in with a hard slap to the shoulder. This sparked another argument, with Luke Steele shoving his partner to the mat. But before Luke Steele could do anything else,  legal man Big Hustle drags him inside the ring. In a surprise turn, “The Hustler” delivers a devastating Hustler’s Headbutt to the Southern Heavyweight Champ! 1 .. 2 .. 3!! WOW! Big Hustle just pinned the OCW Southern Heavyweight champion in the middle of the ring, while Archie Aldred III and Desert Storm walk out the match. Huge W for the babyfaces! [39]

The main event finish was perfection: a great way to use Desert Storm and show him as a difference-maker, and just a brilliant subversion of expectations to have Luke Steele look like he'd walked out again, only for it to end with him being the one left fighting alone this time and taking a pinfall loss which increases anticipation for the title rematch without making him look weak. I loved the opening segment too as a hot start that had Big Hustle looking like a star by hijacking his rival's Unbreakable nickname. What a night for the challenger.

Elsewhere, you've managed to add a fresh angle for The Mat Masters' rematch with the Conner Threepwood collaboration, everything came together for Cactus Jack scoring a pinfall and bringing a four-man group together and you found a way to have El Mariachi get under JLT's skin again but keeping JLT strong by winning his match and juggling a second rivalry and I liked the change of pace with this week's Bucks Saloon segment.

Love the thought of Steele v Aldred.  Looking forward to JLT v TH, I wanted to pick Hangman but I think the right booking decision is JLT.  The rest of the card is solid and most matches can go either way.  I sort of think someone will do a save post the Los Spurs TER match after a post match beat down.

The show kicks off with babyface Big Hustle stepping into the ring. “The Hustler” confidently reminds everyone how he pinned the Southern Heavyweight Champion, Luke Steele, in last week’s tag match. Big Hustle then declares that the victory proves he’s ready to take the title strap at the upcoming OCW SuperShow: Most Wanted! “Unbreakable” Luke Steele’s music hits, and the champion storms out, furious. He grabs a mic and blames his loss on Archie Aldred III and his bodyguard, Desert Storm, insisting that “The Hustler” just took advantage of a chaotic situation. The champ vows to handle AAIII in tonight’s main event, promising that Big Hustle won’t stand a chance at the SuperShow. Governor Ricky Johnson then appears, and the Commissioner confirms Luke Steele vs. Archie Aldred III as the main event, also announcing that next week Big Hustle will also be in action, against Sandman Winks, to prepare for his title shot. [55]

The Montana Lumberjacks vs The Steam Express

In a tag team bout, The Montana Lumberjacks - Kalder Tagg and Wolfie Tagg - use their signature hard brawling style, controlling much of the match and taking the heat, while The Steam Express struggle to find their rhythm and are pushed to their limits, being cheered by their valet Sweet Tabitha. After twelve minutes of intense action, the tide turns as Stanley Axis counters Kalder Tagg, hitting him with a Spinning Fallaway Slam, securing the pinfall for The Steam Express! Very important victory for the babyfaces who bounced after losing last week to The Mat Masters. [37]

image.png

We’re heading backstage, where Mya Catalan quickly intercepts Conner Threepwood. The interviewer asks the heel pro wrestler straight-up about last week’s match, questioning why he tried to injure Eagle Two Tomahawk and if there's some kind of alliance forming between him and Herb Stately, representing The Mat Master. Conner Threepwood, clearly annoyed, glares at Mya before tersely responding with a firm NO COMMENT. Without offering any further explanation, the heel walks off, leaving the interviewer with more questions than answers. [22]

image.png

Up next, Cactus Jack and his crew make their way to the ring. Flanked by his girlfriend, Lola Starr, along with Dynamite Martin, Pepper J, and Cobra, the newly formed faction stands tall. Cactus Jack grabs a microphone, his trademark wild grin spreading across his face. He starts by referencing one of his older promos, reminding everyone that it's still Hunting Season - but now, he’s not a lone wolf waiting for a bullet. With a glance at his crew, he declares that they're a pack now, a gang! THE BULLET GANG! And all the bullets are in their guns now! Jack Pryde pauses for a moment, then delivers the final warning; they’re running this place from now on, and there’s a bullet waiting for anyone trying to stop them: BANG BANG! [28]

image.png   image.png

Cobra vs Harvey Robbinfield

In this one-on-one “Mustang” Harvey Robbinfield showcases his athletic skills, but struggles to maintain momentum as Cobra relentlessly targets his back to slow him down. “Mustang” gets some momentum though, but eventually Cactus Jack causes a distraction at ringside, giving Cobra the opening he needs as “The Snake Man” hits his opponent hard on the back, before locking in the Viper Vice that forces Harvey Robbinfield to tap out. [38]

image.png

Backstage, Mya Catalan stands with babyface Lone Star Cowboy, who’s fired up and eager for another chance to face his bitter rival, Archie Aldred III. Cowboy Buck Winchester tells the interviewer he can't wait to get his hands on “The Oil Prince” again, hoping to settle things in singles action. Before he can continue, Governor Ricky Johnson walks in, looking a bit uncomfortable. He explains that while he respects Cowboy’s desire for a rematch, recent legal threats from Archie Aldred III regarding Buck Winchester have put the company in a tough position. The Commissioner reluctantly admits that he isn’t sure a rematch is best for OCW as a business. The Lone Star Cowboy listens carefully, then shooting a cryptic line before walking off: AAIII can’t be against this rematch… if he’s the one agreeing to it! Buck Winchester leaves Mya Catalan and the Governor Ricky Johnson puzzled, unsure what he meant. [56]

image.png

image.png   image.png

Cockroach Carter vs Jay Silver

With Mercy Michaels at ringside for support, Cockroach Carter starts the match on defense as babyface Jay Silver immediately targets his leg with stiff kicks, trying to weaken the heel early on. Cockroach Carter, however, recovers quickly, using his brawling style to wear down the babyface with heavy strikes and relentless offense. Despite the punishment, Jay Silver fights back and looks for an opening and, at the 9-minute mark, he catches Cockroach Carter off guard with a flashy roll-up: 1 .. 2 .. 3!! Jay Silver strikes his first win in Outlaw Championship Wrestling. [26]

image.png

Tag Team champs Eagle Two Tomahawk and Wild Red Stallion stand in the ring, belts over their shoulders. Eagle Two Tomahawk, still visibly nursing his leg and ankle injury, grabs the mic and states that no injury or dirty tricks will make them let go of their titles. Wild Red Stallion backs him up, promising the crowd that they’ll overcome The Mat Masters at the upcoming OCW SuperShow: Most Wanted. The War Thunders are interrupted as The Mat Masters, along with Herb Stately, come to the stage. Their sport agent mocks the Native American champions, cruelly ridiculing Eagle’s injury, before confidently predicting that his leg won’t hold up his client’s submission attempts and that The Mat Masters will soon take the belts. Al Coleman even attempts a sneak attack on Eagle, trying to further injure his ankle, but champs fight back and forces The Mat Masters to retreat after their plan backfires. [27]

image.png

image.pngimage.png   image.pngimage.png

Los Spurs vs The Explosive Receipt

The match kicks off with Los Spurs - Manny Alvarez and Gringo Loco - going back and forth with the heels, Dynamite Martin and Pepper J of The Explosive Receipt. The bout remains competitive and fast-paced, with both teams trading offense. After nine minutes of action, again a distraction from Cactus Jack and Cobra, who are standing at ringside, gives Dynamite Martin the opening, as he hits Manny Alvarez with The Energy Drainer, securing the pinfall victory. Another W for The Bullet Gang! [25]

Immediately after the match, the entire Bullet Gang jumps into the ring, launching a classic beatdown on Los Spurs. Just as the chaos escalates, babyfaces Gunner Jackson and Harvey Robbinfield rush down the aisle to make the save, leading to a wild four-on-four brawl! The ring descends into chaos, with fists flying from both sides. After a heated exchange, The Bullet Gang manages to slip away, retreating before the babyfaces can turn the tide completely. [21]

image.png

We’re heading to the Buck’s Saloon, where Haley Buck sits behind the bar, cracking a cold one for Rocco Renoir and Romeo Romaro - better known as The Canadian Heartbreakers. The babyface tag team take a moment to reflect on their recent loss to The Montana Lumberjacks, telling Haley Buck and the audience that they aren’t backing down from the heavy, hard-hitting brawlers from Montana. With both men vowing to overcome the brute force of Kalder and Wolfie Tagg in a rematch. They declare that their heart - pun intended - will be what gets them the win next time, promising the fans they’ll bounce back stronger. [22]

image.png

image.png   image.png

Jerry Lee Tennessee vs Texas Hangman

Jerry Lee Tennessee wants nothing to do with the imposing babyface Texas Hangman and, throughout the match, he repeatedly bails out of the ring, frustrating the crowd and “The Hangman”, itching to get his hands on JLT. Whenever Texas Hangman gains momentum, the blues musician scrambles, trying to stall the match. However, as the contest reaches the 15-minute mark, Texas Hangman finally catches JLT with a powerful Big Boot, setting up for his devastating Choke Slam. But just as “The Hangman” goes for the finish, Jerry Lee Tennessee cunningly involves Referee Clinton Edwards who ends up down and out on the mat. JLT seizes the opportunity, stunning Hangman before grabbing his signature guitar, ready to end the match with an illegal strike! But suddendly, El Mariachi appears from the crowd out of nowehre, stopping from behind JLT’s guitar shot and snatching the weapon away from his rival. The luchador leaves the ring, while Texas Hangman recovers and nails Jerry Lee Tennessee with a thunderous Choke Slam! 1 .. 2 .. 3! [41]

image.png

Before his main event bout, “The Oil Prince” Archie Aldred III makes his way to the ring, accompanied by his towering security guard, Desert Storm. With his rich, spoiled demeanor, Aldred grabs a mic and starts addressing the crowd, taking shots at his opponent, the Southern Heavyweight Champion, Luke Steele. AAIII mockingly recalls last week's tag team match, throwing shade at Luke Steele for trying to abandon the match, but ending up being pinned and lose to Atlanta’s street trash like Big Hustle and “old wreck” Buck Winchester. With a smug grin, Archie Aldred III claims Steele is just another uneducated fool from Australia, a place "inhabited by crooks! He brags that “Unbreakable” Luke Steele can’t keep up with someone of his élite status, and tonight, he’ll prove he’s the rightful #1 contender for the Southern Heavyweight Championship! Suddenly, Luke Steele’s music hits, and the champ storms to the ring, absolutely furious. Luke Steele isn’t in the mood for games or words - he's ready to fight and demands the bell be rung immediately. [33]

image.png   image.png

Archie Aldred III vs Luke Steele

Despite being a rare heel vs heel match, Luke Steele gets some reluctant sympathy from the crowd, as the obnoxious Archie Aldred III oozes arrogance and entitlement. Throughout the match, AAIII relies on his cunning tricks and brain, while “The Unbreakable” unleashes his power and ruthless aggression, seeking revenge for last week’s embarrassment, as Luke Steele blames AAIII for the tag team loss and takes it out on him. After thirteen minutes, Luke Steele is about to hit his signature move but here it comes Desert Storm! Archie Aldred's security guard blindsides Luke Steele in the middle of the ring, striking him with his baton. The referee immediately calls for the bell, awarding Luke Steele the win via disqualification. [43]

After the bout, Archie Aldred III and Desert Storm begin a vicious beatdown on Luke Steele, stomping him out in the ring. Before the assault can go too far, “The Lone Star Cowboy” Buck Winchester storms down the ramp like the cavalry! He forces AAIII and Desert Storm to retreat, saving Luke Steele. The dynamic is strange though, as Buck Winchester isn’t doing it for Luke Steele but rather to spite AAIII. As The Lone Star Cowboy stands in the ring, Luke Steele - still frustrated from the match’s outcome and unable to secure a clean victory - snaps. With fury in his eyes, Luke Steele turns on the man who just saved him, as he wraps his steel chain around Buck Winchester’s throat and begins choking him viciously! The crowd is shocked as Buck Winchester struggles for air, but luckily the No. One Contender Big Hustle runs out to make the save, forcing Luke Steele to flee the ring. What a wild ending! [37]

Cactus Jack's new catchphrase feels like a good fit, haha. I can imagine Mrs Pryde's baby boy getting that over. His promo and The Bullet Gang's two wins helped build their momentum nicely.

I enjoyed Buck Winchester's interaction with the Governor, thinking on his feet rather than being a frustrated babyface without a Plan B. Nice finish to the Tennessee-Texas showdown too with El Mariachi again thwarting JLT.

Just as you found a compelling way into the unexpected Aldred-Steele issue last week, you weaved out of it really smoothly here too by finding a way to transition a heel v heel main event into a scenario where a babyface wound up on the mat. It did a good job establishing everyone's characters and motives: like the fact Winchester wasn't there to help Steele, and how ungrateful the frustrated champion was. It's great when you can pull off a DQ main event finish that still feels satisfying and drives everything forward.

Any thoughts/feedback on latest show or diary?  I enjoy reading it - it feels right to the style which isn't by nature my thing but is still entertaining - I couldn't do this - my innate love of weirdness wouldn't allow me to do the old school Southern Wrestling thing properly - I'd be randomly throwing in an Exotico or something outlandishly not Southern Wrestling just for the sake of it.   Thats the big thing with you or anyone - you need to feel the flow of your stuff so it clicks and you have fun with it.  We feel it when it's fun for you and respond accordingly and it feels like you have fun with this.

Any thoughts/feedback on latest show or diary? Really enjoying this. It's got a nice layout, and the roster looks perfect for this company! I like a lot of the tag teams, and 'The Bullet Gang' too. I think 619 covered it well, but I LOVE things like Cactus Jack saying BANG BANG. Little nods to where you took inspiration from, etc. 👏
