The PPV delivered, and there's definitely some interesting signings. The thought of Will Beaumont in a few years time after developing around good wrestlers is big.</p>

Just a heads up you small question should go into either the small questions or general gameplay threads here, you'll likely get a faster/better answer.</p><p> </p><p>

But in answer, if you click on the morale of the character where it says for example 'is happy' on their worker page. Then you can edit their name there. It will give you the option to either save it as an alter ego or not.</p><p> </p><p>

Or you don't have the worker you could do into the in game database to do it.</p>

  5. Alexander Banks needs to be more HANDSOME!!

Otherwise they are beautiful even Mr. Short Champion Hot Rod! I was so surprised he was given the TV Title. Is he officially in your list as champion or a placeholder in every sense?

Banks was a weird one because his bio talks about him being the 'Perth Playboy' and you sort of imagine him to be yeah handsome. Thing is, there's over 20 people on the roster with higher sex appeal than him (and even more with higher star quality). So it's tricky because I agree his render isn't too handsome, but then if I change that, I run the risk of not making the actually handsome people stand out, if that makes sense. There's very few people under 70 sex appeal on the whole roster. I think Captain Wrestling is one, so he's not the prettiest render. The Cluesome Twosome are in their 70's but they've got the short end of the stick and look a bit weird, but like I say it doesn't bother me too much because then the people who are in the 90's sex appeal and star quality should actually stand out.

The one problem I have is Bret Heartbreak is 87 sex appeal but currently looks like his felt is melting. So he's one who I definitely still need to tweak!

I never said have him win the TV Title... In a paintball fight!!

I say this pretty much every time I read one of your shows, but that's my new favourite episode!! Just so good!!

Are you sure? I thought that was exactly what you quite forcefully demanded?

But yes Rod Sullivan is the actual RAW TV Champion in game. Sooner or later people will learn that we don't concern ourselves with silly little wrestling ideas like 'title prestige'. Saying that, the paintball game will act as a sort of watershed moment for the title, it's a bit of wake up call to RAW saying hey, this carnage it what happens when you don't have a strong champion. So going forward you will notice a change.

For Rod though this means he's in a unique position in that he only needs the Quest Title to complete the triple crown. A few others are close to it though, but the only person to do it is Kerry Wayne. His tag win with Will Beaumont actually got him it, but it was sort of overshadowed by everything else going on with that storyline.

    Prediction Results

The last set of predictions were certainly hard. It was only really once Lloyd pointed it out that I realised quite how hard picking the relation was without any hints! Regardless HiPlus was able to win by picking up a point after correctly prediction Tombstone to be the man returning.

Speaking of returns, Isaac Taylor was definitely sad to see La Estrella pick him, considering he's been on TV plenty. Granted 'The World's Most Dangerous Yellow Belt' hasn't accomplished anything special, or had any lines. At least now he has the aim to be more memorable going forward!

    Points Tally

    HiPlus: 1

(As a reminder, you can cash in these points at any time for a cosmetic change for any superstar. I go into more detail in an earlier post but basically 1=minor change 2=medium change 3=big change.)

At the moment I'm making merch for a few wrestlers so any ideas or requests for that would be appreciated!

2). Who is Montgomery Croft's new Protege?: Jack Pride

3). Who is Montgomery Croft's new veteran arse kicker?: Rick Stantz

4). Who is the Mystery Partner of Echo and Nicky Gilbert in the Cinematic Parking Lot Brawl?: Rod Sullivan

5). What will the Overall Rating of the show be?:82 (within 5 gets 1 point, spot on gets 2 points)

  7. SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 20!

Now this will work as a sort of low key season finale. The swap to the new renders goes ahead now. But the story is that the paintball game has destroyed the ASN Studios and it's going to take them some time to clean it and get it ready go back live. So the next episode is just going to be a recap episode of what has happened so far (doing this more for new readers), then there will be an episode with all the new renders being revealed in a sort of roster rundown. In game these weeks of Attitude! have been glorified house shows ran from alternative locations. Then things will get back to normal with the new pictures and some other changes. I'll probably try get these episodes out quick though then settle down once I'm back to normal shows.

'Hot' Rod does it, everyone's clear choice for champion.

For anyone who doesn't isn't on board with Rod needs to blame The Lloyd for picking him to win a title!

Well I obviously want to see all your new renders!!

You're not getting all just yet, but here are a second 5 featuring people from episode 20. Again there will be some changes, and these aren't the exact renders I'll use, for example I think I can get them a little higher quality/clearer but it gives you an idea. Meet the new look Rebound, Tombstone and God's Gift!

    Maverick vs Jackson Laine

Killer Shark vs Tana The Mighty

    Fro Sure vs Chris Flynn

    Joshua Taylor vs Edd Stone

    Matt Hocking vs Troy Tornado

    Eddie Peak vs Mighty Mo

Really enjoyed the go home show, the book of john angle continues to be interesting! I'm thinking perhaps something will happen in the main event regarding it, so I can't pick Wolf to win.

Jay I'm picking because I'm guessing the leaving angle is a swerve, but I might be wrong!

  9. Fantastic show, like you say I think as long as the weekly show stick fairly to the point and easy to read then when it feels appropriate like this show you can go longer.

The Aztec Temple match had high expectations but delivered! But I also really liked the La Estrella match, Cyclops just fits in really well and I think will often be useful to bring out the best in others character wise. Also R.I.P Pyromaniac!!

There has been a couple of great ending with Demon King and this was no different, definitely happy to see him pick up the belt.

  10. BEACH Wrestling on the Gold Coast (Sat Week 2 April 2020) Mermaid Beach

Beach Brawl: God of War, Rigsby & Tallman vs Surfer Dude Lucas, Jesse Tasman & Toby Tough

Sunshine Coast Bubbleweight Title: Dee Lucketti vs Wes Schnorfesst

6-Man Tag: God of War, Rigbsy & Tallman vs Surfer Dude Lucas, Jesse Tasman & Toby Tough

    & 3 other exciting bouts!

Profit is coming. What should I spend my extra money on first?

A 6th match on every show?

A third show in every month?

More expensive workers? Treat yourself to a nice shiny new heel

    Pay my current roster more?

    Increase my own wages?

    Some other option?

Interested to see how this changes the format of the show posts.<p> </p><p> I have no idea how I have 14 points though, I swear I remember getting only like 1 prediction out of 5 correct each week. Did you accidentally count my 100% correct predictions for next show with Snake Belushi?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Well it was out of I think 9 shows, maybe 8. It turns out some of my predictions are really hard so averaging at like 1.5 is good enough for the win! </p><p> </p><p> I'm not going to comment on whether Snake Belushi DOES exist, but if you're asking me WILL he exist? I surely hope so. </p><p> </p><p> The general format won't change TOO much. Obviously I'll also have just head shots for people, and I can always make the full body pictures small. I'm still playing with the format is basically the answer but I'm hopeful it will come out looking good.</p>
  13. <p>I can see why you'd be proud of that episode, I definitely agree with your note at the end of Rocky Golden. It's never easy to add depth to characters like him but it shouldn't surprise me that you're doing a fantastic job of it. </p><p> </p><p>

And the idea of cinematic segments like that work very well in SWF, of course the actual presentation of it was also fantastic!</p>

  14. <p>Previous Prediction Contest Results:</p><p> </p><p>

    The_Lloyd: 14</p><p>

    La Estrella: 14</p><p>

    HiPlus: 9</p><p>

    Herrbear: 2</p><p> </p><p>

So congratulations to the joint winners! I'm going to wait until after Episode 20 to send the prizes as it would involve a spoiler, but you're essentially going to jointly decide a pretty big thing.</p>

  15. <p>Episode 20 will probably still be a couple of days, it's turning out to probably be my longest episode yet, but it's pretty action packed so hopefully it's still a good read, it's definitely an enjoyable one to write anyway. </p><p> </p><p>

In the meanwhile I wanted to get some opinions/show a preview of things to come. I've been working on changing all the worker images. It's been quite the undertaking but I'm currently through 90% of the roster. I just want to explain my thinking throughout it all, I had 3 guiding rules in an order of importance when I was making them. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>1)</strong> Most importantly they <strong>had to reflect in game stats</strong>. I've worked out a height and weight for all members of the roster and these new looks will hopefully reflect these well. Especially whether a character is flabby/toned/muscular/ripped should translate to the new look. Ideally I want the reader to know who is in the best shape, who is the most menacing etc without me having to actually state it. This also works because if somebody transforms in game, this allows me to change it in the actual diary too, so I love the flexibility. Another way in game has affected me is star quality and sex appeal it's been hard to try and translate that into the new looks, but I've tried. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>2)</strong> <strong>What the default c-verse renders look like</strong>. For example nothing in the actual game text says Frogue has an afro... or Will Beaumont has blonde hair... But I obviously wanted to reflect the default renders so that hopefully you all know who these pictures below are, or at least you'd be able to pick 80% or so out on the roster. But this hasn't been the most important factor as I've always put the actual game data as the top priority. An example off the top of my head is Kal Wayne in the render I've been using looks like a pretty huge dude. Whereas he's only a middleweight in game (albeit muscular). Most the renders did a great job in portraying how the game describes the worker, but in any instances where I thought something was off, I always picked to go with the game data.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>3) </strong><strong>How I see them/have been portraying them</strong>. This is impossible to put into words really but things like Steele always having a permanently angry expression, it's nice to actually have the pictures fit their characters but this only came after ensuring the top 2 priorities were met.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

A main reason I'm posting all this now is to bring an end to the current prediction contest and begin a new one.</p><p> </p><p>

    </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style=" border: 2px solid black";"></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>

    New Contest Rules</strong></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

From now on each week will have a winner. When you win you get a point. You can then cash in the points for different things. </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div><div style="text-align:left;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>1 Point:</strong></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> A minor cosmetic change to a worker. I'm not going to define this things exactly, but in my mind this is something small like changing the colour of what they are already wearing, maybe new gloves, maybe a hair cut but not a major change like giving Tombstone a huge blonde wig. </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>2 Point:</strong></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> A medium cosmetic change. Again just in my mind this is something like perhaps a new tattoo, maybe a new fancy jacket? Maybe they swap from long tights (ala early Jericho) to short pants (ala later Jericho) although who knows why you'd want to do that. But you get my point, a more substantial change. </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    </div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>3 Points: </strong></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">A big cosmetic change. This is more a completely new outfit, maybe a more noticeable hair cut. Things like that. </div></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Obviously you will be welcome to request any changes and I'll let you know how many points you'll require for that, so you can decide whether to use up a point at a time or try to save up.</div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

    </div></div></div><p></p><p>

I'm hoping that this system still rewards my small number of regular readers, but might appeal to lurkers/new readers as you can drop in and out, and if you miss a bunch of shows it's not like you can't win the contest as you'll still have your points. </p><p> </p><p>

So although Episode 20 will still be using the old renders, the competition is starting from now, so is including Episode 20 (prediction key for that is on last page). I'll post the results to the current contest which is ending now. </p><p> </p><p>

But for now here are the new look RAW stars! There's still some tweaking for some people but these give a good idea of how people are going to look. </p><p> </p><p>

    <img alt="nn7GiFp.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/nn7GiFp.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  16. I definitely like the idea of a stable only promotion, it's something I've done in personal games.

One thing I'd say, if ever you find the '1 team 1 LW, 1 Woman' rule restricting it doesn't necessarily have to hurt to allow some flexibility. Perhaps you have a team of lightweights team up or a group of women want to make a female only stable. Although you're right that once you grow the talent base will surely be large enough to allow you to stick to your rule.

In terms of a diary for it I'd definitely check out Michgcs's CWF diary for inspiration as it's a very similar idea!

  17. So I have a question, I have had 3 people 1 Manager, 1 Road Agent, and 1 Commentator all leave my company. None of them had any negative relationships with me or morale complaints, one has started elsewhere (but at both places it has been handshake non-exclusive deals) just curious why? Is it simply a random chance some people get bored of where they are?

Out of interest what do they say if you try to rehire them? Just that they aren't interested in talking after just leaving?

Can a 30 man Royal Rumble get 98+ match scores?

I want to set one up as a Main Event but I fear all the jobbers/midcarders will drag down the rating or even give "was used too much" if the match is a full hour.

What are your tips for a successful (98-100) 30 Man Royal Rumble main event?

The best rating I ever had in 2016 for one of these was a 40 min match where 3 main eventers were chosen to dominate, keep strong, and semifinalists.

I wish there were a way to set "Ring Time" of each worker so that I could set up one hour and have my jobbers have "8 minutes" ring time, so they can get something out of being in the match but not bring down the rating or show grade "jobber was used too much, jobber in main event", etc.

I know the way multi man matches calculate the rating has been changed for this reason. I don't have much experience booking them myself but I know it should be easier for them to pull high grades now.

Whilst you can't set ring time, you could pick some of the worst/lowest popularity people and add the road agent note 'limited involvement' as I think this essentially then assumes they aren't in the match for long. This does negatively impact the match a little but perhaps not as much as their involvement would?

  18.

I don't believe that success/defeat should necessarily be balanced in a segment; Hogan didn't lose anything near as much as Andre gained in their segment, for example, and no-one lost anything in the Austin/Tyson segment. Equally, Earthquake annihilated Hogan and put him on the shelf for months, but didn't become a massive star off the back of that.

Still, balance should be considered - a typical promo probably will be a minor gain for the winner, and a minor loss for the loser. That's not always the case; You can have a couple of promo masters who'll both benefit more from the interaction than they'll lose from getting chewed out, so both might get minor successes from that.

I definitely agree with this. Obviously most people wouldn't want to just spam major success as that's gaming the system to the point of it really just being cheating. But 100% I'd say some angles only have winners. And it doesn't bother me personally using these sparingly. The example of Austin/Tyson works in that just being featured in such a hyped angle benefits both people, so in that case it wouldn't bother me at all both people coming out good.

  19. Rookie C-Verse/Fictional

20LEgend's USPW It's such a big undertaking trying to book and write USPW, especially in this detailed format so to keep the quality as high as it's been is impressive.

    Veteran Real World

Bigelow Cartwheel's ECW To me this is on the other end of the scale, the definition of short and sweet. Whilst I would normally hesitate to nominate a diary that was only going for a week or so of the month, it's posted a decent amount of shows in that time so I think still deserves the nod.

    Veteran C-Verse/Fictional

Michgcs's CWF Nice unique format, a good mix of c-verse regulars with lesser used talent and got through a whole season this past month.

    Showcase

Operation AntiVenom in La Estrella's EMLL

Really the whole diary deserves to also be in the general category and I'm sure someone will, but it was these luchalore posts that stood out to me most this month. It's in 4 parts so i'd recommend anyone to check that out.

    Showcase

The Egg Hunt in Lloyd's RAW

I don't know if this actually a cinematic match or normal angles. So perhaps this should be in showcase? Or the whole event could go down for event? I don't know what Lloyd thinks? Either way a freaking egg hunt has to get a nomination from me! Especially when it was so well done. Edit: I'm going with showcase after speaking with Lloyd!

    Showcase

Book of John segments in DevilbOy's TCW

It's a great all round diary this, but these smaller hype segments that have been in the last 3 shows have definitely piqued my interest, and whilst the storyline is far from over I think there's a lot to be said for create suspense before a debut/return/whatever it turns out to be.

    Event

Red, White and Blue 2020 in 20LEgend's USPW Really had the PPV (or 'special broadcast event') feel. The main event was built well and delivered but it was a strong card top to bottom.
