Well, that was dumb.

Bear in mind, they also get the ROH library, which has some 20 years worth of wrestling events.

Danhausen staring at Dustin Rhodes is strangely compelling television.

With the news breaking that Mercedes Varnado/ Sasha Banks is in fact a free agent, who else is thinking she'll be Saraya's mystery partner for the 1/11 Dynamite?

If every week is special, no week is special. Something something Syndrome from The Incredibles.
Syndrome was the bad guy in The Incredibles. I don't think we're supposed to think he was right.

Fair distinction. But someone dating an adult movie star shouldn't get them fired either provided that the public behavior isn't unbecoming of what the company expects.
There are a lot of male superstars who's public behavior is what I would call "unbecoming", like Jimmy Uso and his history of DUIs. After the third one, he was punished with... *checks notes* Uh... a record breaking title reign.

I think he's done a great job making me emotionally invested to be fair...mostly on the SmackDown side of things. To me it's fundamentally unreasonable to ask for December Raw's to be the most exciting of the bunch as we're just treading water until the Royal Rumble, holiday season etc. and of course that pesky third hour still exists.
There's always an excuse for why a given episode of RAW is subpar. "Oh, it's football season. Oh, it's a holiday. Oh, there's a congressional hearing." Etc. Phoning it in is still phoning it in.

And? Good for her. Maybe if the WWE paid her more, she wouldn't need to.

I'll just point out that Ben Franklin, our smartest and wisest (and swinging-est) Founding Father, was originally from Boston. He left.

Mandy Rose has been released.

I thought last night's episode was boiler-plate. Serviceable, but nothing exciting, which seems to be a hallmark of Triple H's booking style. Competently wrestled matches that I just don't care about because they haven't gotten me emotionally invested. The highlight of the show was, of course, Kevin Owens. Over-the-top incredulous KO is the BEST KO.

Still, the main event was fun. Loved seeing the Best Friends and Danhausen dress like actual lumberjacks and try to bring axes to the ring.

Apparently people don't like her anymore.
I never liked her that much to begin with. Of course, it didn't help that Creative had her make promises they had no intention of keeping.
"I'm not going to jump the line to a title shot!"
Her very next feud was against the RAW Women's Champion.
"I'm going to defend this title every week!"
She did not. Some weeks she wasn't even there. One week, her only appearance on RAW was being in the corner for Natalya, which is NOT a title defense. And, of course, one simply has to look at the ratings when she was champ. OOF. No wonder fans quickly embraced Becky over her. And Ronda is SO bitter about that.

They had an interview segment to set up... an interview segment.

At one point during the "Anything Goes" match, The Miz put Dexter Lumis' head in a vice. Which is appropriate, because during this storyline, I often felt like MY head was in a vice. D'oh-ho-hoooo!

I like the idea of Rousey and Bazler together. Feel like they could be good holding the tag belts while rousey hold the world belt. Then she can be double booked on a show and lose it to have an excuse.
Ronda can barely be bothered to wrestle once a week; no way she'll do 2 matches a night.

YAMSATO (styled in all caps)? I did think of SATYAM but that just reminded me of Satnam Singh. Or if you'd prefer a standard tag name, Azure Fusion? DREAM SY? DYNAMITE Angels (due to their explosive styles)?
Good suggestions, thank you!

Any suggestions for Romi Yamato and Eri Sato. Admittedly, "Yamato & Sato" or the reverse both sound adequate thanks to the rhyming nature, but I'd prefer something with a bit more oomph.

I can't tell if you're joking or not, but Gunther/Walter has busted people's chests open from his vicious chops.
I've never seen him do that on Smackdown (though his chops DO look vicious enough that I could see that happen) and I don't watch NXT.
And let's be honest, "Walter" is and always will be a terrible wrestling name. Aside from the Muppet, the most famous Walters are Matthau and Kronkite, and I'm reasonably sure that, were either one still alive, I could take in a fight.
... Well, Matthau seems like the kind who'd cheat a bit. -
Playing 5SSW recently, and I love the vets there, like Shiori Jippensha, Yuma Maruya, and Megumi Nakajima, simply because of how easy they are. They're continuously offering to put people over, which makes for easy storylines.

You’ve never seen Walter matches?
... From the Muppets?

I have never, EVER seen someone's CHEST busted open in a match before.

Nyla is definitely the kind of wrestler who needs the right opponent. When she's with someone she's got good chemistry with, her matches are generally good, but when she's with someone she doesn't click with (Britt for instance), it's just... Well.

Man, Kingston vs Jun was awesome. So much fun. Eddie's genuine emotions were magically. It's a shame this was on Zero Hour. It was very good. Eddie is so special. He reminds me of DDP in some ways. Eddie's post match stuff was hilarious. Let him hype cards on a regular basis.
Also, it would be amazing if Eddie took the belt off MJF. I know that's highly unlikely, but man, Eddie as champ, even if briefly, would be awesome.
Not sure if I'll make it through Full Gear or not tonight, but Zero Hour was enjoyable.
If MJF was still a pure heel (and honestly, he's too popular to be anything but the cheating anti-hero now) I'd say Eddie is the perfect choice to eventually dethrone him. MJF is a cocky, good-looking, well built, rich kid, and Eddie... is not any of those things. They're not total opposites, but one can easily see the two coming in conflict. Stick both of those guys in a ring with a mic and let the magic happen.

And certainly, many of the ROH acts they've brought in have been getting over, with Dalton Castle and the Boys being the best example. Of course, you can't NOT love Dalton Castle, this is a scientific fact and I will brook no argument to the contrary.
