Bo Dallas is interesting. A babyface who got a bad reaction after his Rumble debut due to poor WWE scripting and a bland character, turned into a tweener but still acting like he's a babyface. He hasn't gone full heel yet which is good because what they're doing now is working.

The only thing holding him back is using a belly-to-belly-suplex as a finisher. Although on the last show Bo used a move similar to Zayn's finisher, and I swear he copied one of Kruger's moves recently. It would really make him unique if he started stealing his opponents finishing moves.

No. He got a bad reaction due to being massively pushed in development despite not having the skill, charisma, or look to back it up.

As someone who's been watching the fcw/nxt shows since 2011 I can say he's improved in the ring by leaps and bounds but they seem in love with him for some reason. I personally think if he changed his abysmal look and stopped being so stupidly happy go lucky he would be ok. As it stands now he's a clone of Cena without the freakish power, charisma, look, or skills and people realize this.

I think WWE sees a big investment in him. He's young, knows the WWE style by heart, his dad is a producer?, and he's obviously loyal to the WWE. With Bo Dallas they have a lot of time to invest in him.

I personally enjoy his goofy happy-go-lucky character where he's oblivious to the fact that he's the most hated man in NXT yet believes himself to be the good guy. Make him praise Justin Bieber and just be corny as hell. Plus that smile just makes me want to punch him.

I agree, the character as it stands as the delusional tweener has win written all over it.

This is one of the better Summerslam builds I've seen in awhile.

Oh, and that Green Bay crowd was horrendous. I'm usually one to say "It's not the crowds fault that you aren't over" but in this case they just sucked. Dead silence during a perfectly entertaining Bryan/Wade Barret angle (anyone else think they should have had a beard vs beard match that night?). You could hear a pin drop in that stadium during the Sandow/Rhodes angle. A "boring" chant during the Punk/Azel match (to be followed by a "this is awesome" chant not 5 minutes later lol). Not giving anything to anyone that talked. They were just asleep, man. It wasn't the best raw in recent weeks but it deserved way more than it got.

Only CM Punk is in the same boat in terms of that talent. The way Cena handled the crowd in the last RAW after Wrestlemania was absolutely brilliant.

But hey, the smarks would rather hate on the man either because they get a kick out of being contrarian with what the WWE is trying to make you think about Cena, or they're incapable of telling the difference between John Cena "The character as booked by WWE" and John Cena "The actual worker".

Like, a few months back, someone on the TEW forums said Cena would never succeed in ECW or Attitude Era WWF... and both of those are absolute bullshit. Anyone who has followed Cena's career has seen that he can not only work gimmicks other than "Super Cena", but excel in doing so. He's white and was a more convincing rapper than R-Truth. But there's absolutely zero reason to think that, fifteen years ago, he couldn't succeed: because he could. He was no less talented in-ring than many of the stars from WWF and ECW back then (especially ECW... c'mon, one of their constant championship contenders was a middle-aged pudgy white guy who drank beer and waved his dick at the crowd and had even few moves in his arsenal than Cena), and on his own has the microphone skills. He would've been given a better gimmick that fit the times and the audience would've adored him.

Sorry folks, I just get a tad sick of the smarkiness towards Cena. It's reached a point that, if Cena were to debut next week with the greatest gimmick the world has ever seen, a lot of people would still be chanting "Cena sucks" because it's become so ingrained that it's what the "cool kids" do.

I think when people are hating Cena it's the character they are hating though. I know if I was criticising him, I'd be talking about the promo. That said it does make people chanting boring during one of his better recent promos even more stupid. It just seemed like they'd seen other people do it weeks ago, so they did it.

I thought they did a great job Monday with Bryan's promo cutting into Cena which got me completely behind him. And then Cena's promo without saying "Bryan lied" gave his side. I thought it was a great way of, instead of them having opposing opinions, showing the two sides of the coins with both of them having good justifications of both sides (e.g the "you'll never work again" thing being show both ways and the "you don't love wrestling"/"you don't love WWE") it did a great job of having them both make good point, while appealing to different parts of the audience. Two quality promos.

I also find whatever Vince does golden. I love how they're playing on the Vince doesn't rate Bryan stuff on TV. It seems like they're working the "smarks" more than ever at the moment with rumours going round. Another example the Triple H bit where he said "I'm not letting Vince sink this ship", works with general concensus of the internet. Seems they're appealing to the growing social media/online presence. Not necessarily playing to them but they're working with the (mis)conception people have and I think it seems a good way to blur the lines and actually get people investing in the product. This Bryan stuff certainly is one of few times I feel fully invested in something and I'm glad they've done it after a decent title run. People have wanted him to drop the title to Ryback and then Henry, but I'm glad they've give him a run of meaning so that should he drop it to Bryan it means a lot more.

I am on of the biggest Cena hater in the world, and it has nothing to do with is skills. If WWE shoves something for 10 years down my throath, I will hate it. And other people will hate it. Not everyone, but more people will. To think that people only hate him because it's cool is preposterous. We hate him becaue we're sick of him and bored to death. And after almost 10 years, there is a lot of resentment. So I don't care if they gave him the best gimmick ever and he excelled...I already dislike him. Nothing will change that. I'm not the only one. It has nothing to do with the reasons you mentioned. The only thing ingrained in here is that same old BS he has done for all these years.

I'm a gluten for punishment, you know it, I know it lets get on with it.

First of all John Cena is playing a CHARACTER. If Tom Hanks plays the worst television character of all time for ten years and people hate the character then you don't hate Tom Hanks you hate the CHARACTER that he plays. You might even hate the television SHOW he's on and it might not ENTERTAIN you.

You see what I did there? I bolded the parts about this being FICTION. Are you honestly living in 2013 and saying if John Cena switched his persona to something completely different and started being The Destroyer and started doing everything you wanted a wrestling character to do you would still hate him because.......science?

I understand you're not happy the WWE has pushed him down our throats for ten years but thats the thing. First of all ten years ago he was just debuting. He's only been a top guy and he didn't become the absolute focus of the shows for about another year or two after that. So we're looking at somwhere in the neighborhood of four to five years where he has been the character that SOME people hate today.

My point is in what world do you live where you hate John Cena the man? Because thats clearly what this is. I mean where you dating a Bella twin before John came along? Did you lose a battle rap to the guy? Did you boot you off the third class college football team that he played for? Did he beat you out in a body building contest? Did you apply for a job as a mover the day after John and not get the job when he was living in California?

It goes beyond pathetic and irrational for you to hate the PERSON because of the CHARACTER that they play. John the person has shown himself to be a perfectly decent human being. Donating to charities, making more wishes come true than anyone in the history of Make a Wish, I could go on and on. But you hate the PERSON as if anyone else in his shoes wouldn't do the exact same thing.

"John we're going to pay you MILLIONS of dollars to be exactly what we want. We're going to give you more world title reigns than anyone in history, you're oging to main event more Wrestlemania's than anyone in history. You're going to become an icon to an entire generation of kids......OR you can say Ruck Fules, tell us to screw off, we'll find somebody else and you can get depushed down to the undercard jobbing to The Great Khali in the lingere pillow fights"

You hate the guy because he does what his job asks of him? You hate the guy because despite your unhealthy hate for the guy he's still without a shadow of a doubt the most popular athlete on the roster? You hate the guy because his boss tells him to do something and he does it?

Because if you then you're a liar the truth is you have some irrational hate towards this CHARACTER and you seem to live in a world where everything you see on TV is true and you can't seem to seperate fiction from reality. I had this same problem when I was six years old....I thought that if I was getting beat up in a fight all I had to do is Hulk Up.....needless to say I snapped out of my delusions right after I recovered from my butt kicking.

I think you're a decent guy but when anyone mentions John Cena you fly into this blind rage and start spewing non sensical nonsense and start talking for some giant masses of "people" out there that I've never seen any evidence outside of yourself. So please if there are so many people who agree with you and are willing to say "yes no matter what John Cena does we will hate him for all the end of time" then point to them. Because I'm betting 99.9999 percent of the people on here and reality are in the camp of "I hate the way the WWE pushes him but there are certainly things they could do to make me like him again and overall I think he's an average human being". You however don't seem to feel this way and I seriously get a Mark David Chapman vibe from you.

I believe this discussion already occuered a few pages back. Basically shawn hates Cena and won't admit to hating the character but John Cena.

If there's any person out there who actually hates John Cena as a person it should only be his ex-wife for obvious reasons. Considering how much good Cena does with breast cancer, Makes-A-Wish, ect. hating him is just pathetic.
