I must admit Lesnar vs Hunt was always far more exciting as a main event than watchin Jones beat Cormier for a 2nd time. Ufc 200 Lesnar vs Hunt kind of works since McGregor & Jones twatted it up with their own different ideas of arrogance. When Diaz does beat Mcgregor again the ufc will get its true qualities back

What a circus. Now the Spider is stepping in, but Tate vs Nunes is the new main event. They can't mean that right? I love women's MMA just as much if not more but this matchup doesn't really excite me that much. More thrilled about Lesnar vs Hunt tbh. I'm sure Anderson is just looking for a big paycheck given he stepped in on 2 days' notice (wow). At least Cormier has his fight.

I gotta agree with him on Jones now. He is indeed a bum. Can't he be professional for just one week instead of starting fights, doing hit-n-runs and smoking pot? I think people are truly done with him now, especially the UFC, given he made Dana look like a jackass. He deserved a second chance after all he's put his employer through, but he blew it again. It least he has the courtesy to apologize instead of shying away. I'll give him credit for that, even if that's the normal thing to do.

To be fair: I don't think he knowingly cheated (he doesn't look that retarded), but a professional should be aware of what he's eating.

No way are the UFC done with him. He's one of their biggest draws and at 28 years old has potentially a lot of mileage left after a two-year ban. Money over morals.

I bet Dana wishes he gave in to McGregor now. Suddenly his all-time card is lacking.

I managed to see UFC 200 live last night and none of the people who I was rooting for won on the card (beyond Brock Lesnar).

I felt really bad for Meisha Tate (who I was rooting for). To lose so bad and so fast like that... <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Brock was looking pretty exhausted early on in that fight with Hunt. He has some work to do and I do not see the Brock of today winning against more well rounded opponents. I do believe the UFC matched Hunt with Lesnar because Hunt is pretty much only a brawler with nothing else in his arsenal. Hunt isn't exactly the type of fighter who can go far into a fight and is a panicked, stranded tortoise when on the ground. He's got that one punch and that is it.

Brock won that fight because next to the limited Hunt, he is faster, stronger and just has better genetics for that kind of activity. Brock came on after Cain's easy victory.. after seeing Cain do his thing, you can see that Cain would still eat Lesnar for breakfast. Lesnar looked very clunky in comparison to the well oiled machine that is Velasquez.

I am nonetheless happy that Brock pulled off the win. I do believe that if he dedicated himself entirely to MMA, Lesnar could have a bright future. That body and those genetics just scream fighting potential.

I don't understand Lesnar though -- you can't do MMA -UFC part time and expect to be anything near spectacular. How many fighters are the best of all time while they were doing movies, music or other careers on the side? Brock either has to go all in and leave the WWE behind or else he will be nothing more than circus sideshow that brings the PPV a few more buys because he's huge and looks mean on screen. Also, at 38 years old, he has to give MMA his full dedication now as opposed to later. The clock is ticking... you can't come back to MMA at 45 or 50 years old.

His post fight press conference had me doubting if he is ever going to be involved in MMA beyond doing a fight every year or so just to haul in some extra cash. "I don't know guys.... I got Summerslam... we will see. I don't know what I'm going to do after that."

I don't know if the UFC can match the WWE's coffers and paying potential, but Lesnar has to decide what he wants to do while he is still relatively young and able.

I was rooting for Zingano and Tate to win because I wanted to see that rematch, but I guess we might see it soon enough given they might fight each other next anyway. If Rousey doesn't come back it would be fun to see Nunes fight Pena.

The card itself was nice, but if this was WMMA4, the event would have a low rate in terms of star power in the main event (lower than usual PPV's).

I know I posted this in the WWE forum but this is one of those rare occurrences that it falls under both subjects.

Brock Lesnar ended up failing an anti-doping test. It's kind of crap that UFC may have kept it hush hush until it was WWE's turn to use him.

It might turn out that was Brock Lesnar's last MMA fight. It's kind of crazy they tested him 6 times that day and he passed 5 out of 6. I'm really curious of what exactly failed him.

Well, it seems he failed several so it's definitely not a freak occurence. This is bad for everybody... <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

(well, everybody except Hunt, who can basically retire now if he wants)

I honestly don't get why he "did it". In cases of people "getting caught", there's always the option of them not knowingly taking in these substances. Everybody always says they didn't do it. Someone close to them could've poured it in their drink. You never know.

I think it's hysterical how UFC still uses the USADA after the repeated mishaps they've had.

If anything, it reflects poorly on UFC and USADA mostly - with the tests happening before the fights and the fights still happening. Or worse, happening weeks before the fights and being announced either shortly before or after the fights.

Why not use the WADA? As laughable as boxing is with their alphabet titles, I remember hearing they dropped the USADA in favor of another organization that now tests for them.

All that said...who cares? The fights are entertaining.

It's weird. It's like, if hunt won, lesnar would not be positive <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I don't think it's voluntary. The guy has a one fight contrat, and he got "caught". Strange

Hard not to be hyped after that press conference. I won't be buying the PPV, but I'll be watching the news with great interest. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

This is a defining event for some of the UFC's weight classes. Well... just McGregors actually. But it's significant alright.

Once again, the Diaz style - which has never been heavy on points fighting - screws him again. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
