jhd1
Yeah, using default till I find a free white guy one. http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/1575/dread2h.jpg Did I go too far on lighting? I would say so, though I like the positioning better (at least it looks more zoomed in). Take a look at this render by ewanite... http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Alts/Renders/JaredJohnson_jhdewanite.jpg There are shadows but they are not quite as dark as your original render. Try turning down your side light(s) to something really, really low. Your original lighting was fine but having your shadows slightly brighter would have just perfected it. All my opinion of course. EDIT: jtlant and Self those last three female renders are astonishing!

Remianen
And some girls Fern Hathaway! Joanne Rodriguez Dharma Gregg! Hotstuff Marie JESSICA BUNNY! Fixed I dunno, a couple of those have been re-rendered at least once (J.Ro's been done probably 3-4 times). Self has Dharma done, I think, as part of his BSC roster pass. And I use a re-rendered J.Ro in my diary (with permission from the creator). I also have Christina Charisma, Willow, and the previously posted Olivia Diamond. The other render thread has quite a few promising possibilities.
Remianen
STEPHANIE DRUCKER Had an embarassing moment after I'd done the face, hair, lighting, etc, when I realised I didn't know what Drucker's gimmick was. I think she's the manager of the Melbourne Blondes, and I think they're supposed to be surfers. So... Tie dye? Maybe I should pop her in a wetsuit... Regardless. Is this 'gorgeous' enough? I'm past the point of objectivity. EMMA BITCH PERMISSION REQUESTED! And I don't think Stephanie HAS a gimmick. I dunno if the Blondes are surfers necessarily. I always saw them as the typical 'blue chipper' types, who come to the ring (when they're not wrestling) in suits, passing off the male model appearance. In that wise, Stephanie would basically be arm candy (which befits her sex appeal rating, typically). And that Emma Bitch is freakin' AWESOME! Emma Chase GAWD! How do you DO that? You guys are the reason why every time I open Daz, I spend 3-4 hours on ONE render and then shut it down in frustration.

I've posted her around and about, but my standards for Dharma Gregg are exceptionally high, and the render doesn't quite meet them. She's like Tommy Cornell to me. Very important character. Boltinho
Had a bash at Dread: http://img710.imageshack.us/img710/8426/dreadrr.jpg My first try at a re-render, what do folks reckon? I love the dark shadows on this. Gives him that true badass superstar look. Rathen4
I think he's superb considering you've done this less than 24 hours. I've just created my first ever render and have got an awful lot of catching up to do, but yours is very good and fits Dread perfectly. edit: Emma Chase looks very like Jenna Jameson.. I wonder if that's intentional
James Casey
This is a really good render... but it just doesn't FEEL like McFly... Ive been trying to see if maybe they accidentally resemble someone else... I'm thinking change the hair you've got the beginnings of an Eric Eisen That's a good shout, actually - Using this as a base for Eisen clan could well lead somewhere. Aside from the hair, the first thing that comes to find when I think of McFly is the eyes. There's a look I've always taken as supreme self-confidence. Might come from being the best wrestler in the world, might be the reason he is the best. Might even come from being married to Mrs Stone-McFly, who knows? Moe Hunter
STEPHANIE DRUCKER Regardless. Is this 'gorgeous' enough? I'm past the point of objectivity. A resounding YES! Resembles the original, and matches the SA rating, for sure. Emma Chase Absolutely phenominal. If you'd asked me before, I wouldn't say Easy EC needed a new render (original is great, millions of alts) but this is way too good! This is definitely one that makes me wish TEW had a place for full-body renders. Third go, I'm quite happy with it now http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/5458/dread3.jpg This is great work. I followed basically the same thought process as other on this - first attempt was really good but the shadowing was a bit heavy. Then it went the other way. You've found the balance now. I can't wait to see what you do next
Bull
If I were you, I'd take the first and the last of those, and composite them together with GIMP or Photoshop. Take a bit of the grey hair, pop it on top of the first, and try to recreate the signature McFly hair. I tried that when I first made it but the hair I am using isn't the right style for it. Overall it would probably look better if I could use a different Hairstyle, I just cant afford any at the moment. That's a good shout, actually - Using this as a base for Eisen clan could well lead somewhere. Aside from the hair, the first thing that comes to find when I think of McFly is the eyes. There's a look I've always taken as supreme self-confidence. Might come from being the best wrestler in the world, might be the reason he is the best. Might even come from being married to Mrs Stone-McFly, who knows? I have the base saved so if all else fails I could use it as the Eisens. Anyway here is the latest effort to make it more McFly-ish. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff206/freebird8818/SeanMcFly_altbull5.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff206/freebird8818/SeanMcFly_altbull6.jpg

You've done a great job and this is spot on, especially considering you're using the basic texture. Any chance of a Tyson Baine-esque roar? Just to be awkward Anyway here is the latest effort to make it more McFly-ish. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff206/freebird8818/SeanMcFly_altbull5.jpghttp://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff206/freebird8818/SeanMcFly_altbull6.jpg I like these, although I think the default texture doesn't do your efforts justice (through no fault of your own, mind). I think these particular renders are crying out for a pose, nothing too fancy though (something similar to jtlant's renders would work). I just think something more animated might bring that extra bit of character to finish it off. If you like I'll see if I can give the hairdo a go tomorrow. The Chosen One
I Think maybe the attitude may be a little off for McFly as well, as the original McFly render has him, not so much smiling as much as smirking almost to the thought of how great his career/sex life is, haha. jtlant
Thanks for all the nice words on the Emma render. I was pretty happy with the way that turned out. Here's a cut off of it... Emma Chase http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii145/jtlant/TEW/EmmaChase_alt4.jpg Also, all of this Mcfly talk made me take a look at and old render I did of mini-McFly, Jayson Van Pelt.
