"The League"--A Multiplayer Wrestling Spirit II Experience

On a vaguely serioues note, I do wonder what would happen in the matches that end early if people had some decent numbers in their Wrestling Spirit stats. Would the AI be smart enough to use it to escape submissions? Would it go for the big finishers?

Do you have any plans for the Wrestling Spirit stat any time? I have some ideas. :)

It's covered in that huge post in the discussion thread, but I'll summarize it here. Spirit is earned via playoff achievements (and optionally mid-season tournaments--a possible Season Two addition). As it stands, that's the only way to earn it.

If you have ideas, either lay 'em out here or PM me and I'll take it into consideration. If discussion/implementation of new rules makes the League better, why keep the thoughts to yourself?

That goes for anyone in The League. I'm not a hard guy to get along with (no comment, MLT... :p:) ) and am willing to listen to ideas.

Ha! I'm not the only one who doesn't read everything!!!!!

I read it aaaaages ago, just hadn't remembered anything about it til it was mentioned. :p

My idea is actually pretty simple really but would work best with a long term damage mechanic too. Wrestling Spirit would be earned with experience, 1 point per win, lose 0.5 per loss. Perhaps starting people at 10 points so that they have a small chance to use it to influence a match from the get go. Small bonuses for accomplishments in playoffs/tournament action (and exhibition bouts don't count at all). Over the long term everyone would build up their stat as long as they can at least beat a 0.333 average over the years.

Mix that in with physical condition dropping a few points per season (based on the discussion about that from early on) and you eventually reach a position where veterans have a lot of Wrestling Spirit built up but in longer matches would fade away due to physical condition taking it's toll and people. At which point we put a long term soft cap on how long a wrestler's career can be, that being the point where their ability to endure punishment is no longer enough to balance out their accumulated stats, especially with the modifiers the Wrestling Spirit stat can add.

It might take 20 seasons (or about 7 years in real terms :p) but I'm sure this'll still be going by then. :)

You know...that's actually not too bad an idea. Lemme run some tests on that after I move (two weeks or so), and I'll see if that's a viable option for season two.

:)

I also just realised you live in Baltimore... The Two has been making me watch The Wire so I now assume you know everyone on that show personally.

<p>I'll warn y'all now...week 10 may not get posted until late Friday night/early Saturday morning Eastern Time due to previous engagements. If I get done everything early enough and get it formatted prior to my plans, MLT may be posting the show in my absence if she is able to. I make no claim that this is guaranteed, as I have to make sure everything is done ahead of time (and given that I've been swamped at work the last few days, there's a good chance it might not be done).</p><p> </p><p> Consequentially, everyone's web pages and the Beyond Ringside column for week 11 will not be done until Saturday, barring a dramatic change of plans.</p><p> </p><p> Also, a question to all members: as it stands, the current plan is to have two weeks for the playoffs (Semi's one week; finals, consolation, and an 8-man exhibition tag on the second). I've debated the option of running both rounds of the playoffs and the exhibition tag as a single week. I'll leave the decision to the readers--should the playoffs for this season run one week or two?</p><p> </p><p> Feel free to discuss, and stay tuned for week 10!</p><p> </p><p> NINJA EDIT:</p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="derek_b" data-cite="derek_b" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28086" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> I also just realised you live in Baltimore... <p>Diamond (3-6, 15%) vs.<strong> Maxx Skabb (5-4, 15%)</strong></p><p>

Sean (6-3, 15%) vs. <strong>Nuclear Templeton (6-3, 15%)</strong></p><p>

<strong>Johnny Triumph (4-5, 15%)</strong> vs. The British Warrior (5-4, 15%)</p><p>

Shawn Arrows (3-6, 15%) vs. <strong>The Phoenix (2-7, 15%)</strong></p><p>

BETA DIVISION: <strong>Tarik Nolan (5-4, 15%)</strong> vs. SGRaaize (3-6, 15%)</p><p>

BETA DIVISION: <strong>Robbie Maynard (6-3, 24%)</strong> vs. Breaker (6-3, 15%)</p><p> </p><p>

I keep saying Triumph wins out and during the last week makes the playoffs with a win and a Sean lost. Now Sean needs to do his job and lose twice before the last week (and then lose the last week).</p>

So, managed to just finish the show, albeit with a few formatting things I am out of time to change. MLT, I'm sending it to your inbox; anytime after 8:00 will work to post it, if you are able.

If not, it'll be done when I get back...whenever that is. :D

So make changes so all the people I want to win will have won? Ok I will get to work. :D

Season 1, Week 10

Season One, Week Ten

August 6, 2010

THE LEAGUE: WEEK TEN

The camera cuts from the title sequence to a panning shot of the sold-out Odyssey Arena as the fans cheer. One can tell that playoff fever has hit the audience as signs are beginning to show up proclaiming certain wrestlers as future League Champions. Eventually, the camera cuts to ringside and our usual announce team.

BOB SINCLAIR: Welcome to Northern Ireland , everybody! Bob Sinclair sitting as always at ringside, along with Frankie Garnett. Frankie, it's time. We're in the last five weeks of the season, and the fight for the playoffs will only get more intense from here.

FRANKIE GARNETT: You're not kidding, Bob. It's so bad that Commissioner Colt Marshall has extra security in place around all twelve wrestlers' locker rooms, so that no backstage shenanigans can take place. Everything is going to be decided in that ring; at least that's what the Commish is banking on!

BOB SINCLAIR: Two major match-ups on the card tonight as the top four men in the League face off in a pair of matches that could seriously alter the landscape of the playoff picture. But we're starting tonight with someone on the bubble, and the woman who looks to play the spoiler. Let's go to Amelia for the start of tonight's event!

Diamond (3-6) vs. Maxx Skabb (5-4)

"Oh, it's time to rock and roll..."

The opening lyric is enough to send the crowd into a jeering frenzy, as the lone woman in The League walks out with a confident smirk on her face.

Amelia Williams: Our opening contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Aberdeen , Scotland , weighing 132 pounds...Diamond!

Bob Sinclair: As mentioned, Diamond's looking to play the spoiler. She needs an incredible run of luck to make the playoffs, but she could have a direct impact on the hunt for the wild card right here.

Frankie Garnett: If her future opponents are smart, they'd do well to watch out for her. She's proven she's the Queen of the Upset this season.

Disturbed's "The Night" hits the speakers as the second participant in the match comes out to a rousing chorus of jeers.

Amelia Williams: Her opponent, from the Orange County Correctional Facility, weighing 291 pounds...Maxx Skabb!

Bob Sinclair: Coming in to tonight's event, Skabb finds himself a match out of the wild card and two out of the Alpha Division lead. There's still hope for him to get in, but a win tonight will certainly help his cause.

Frankie Garnett: You also have to wonder if the incident with him being admitted into the UK this past week will have a bad effect on him as well, Bob. Skabb certainly cannot be in the best mindset given all of that.

BOB SINCLAIR: Will you ever learn?!

1!

2!

This Could Be It!

The referee's hand starts coming down...

3!

FRANKIE GARNETT: She's done it again!

AMELIA WILLIAMS: Here is your winner, at a time of eight and a half minutes...Diamond!

BOB SINCLAIR: Diamond keeps her slim playoff chances alive, but this has to be a major setback to Skabb's hopes.

FRANKIE GARNETT: You're not kidding, Bob. You said at the start that Diamond was looking to play spoiler; she did exactly that tonight!

BOB SINCLAIR: Moving on, our next bout is the first of our two featured matches tonight, and it is a bout of divisional leaders. Gamma Division leader Sean takes on Alpha Division leader Nuclear Templeton in what many are thinking is a preview of the League Championship.

FRANKIE GARNETT: This is a match-up that's been brewing for weeks, Bob, and it's a sort of perfect storm that allows a marquee matchup to happen this late in the season. It's going to be short, violent, and I cannot wait!

BOB SINCLAIR: Then wait no more, Frankie. Let's go to the ring to get this started!

Sean (6-3) vs. Nuclear Templeton (6-3)

Black Sabbath's classic "Iron Man" hits the speakers to announce the entrance of the Gamma Division leader.

Amelia Williams: Our next contest is a featured contest scheduled for one fall! Coming down the aisle, from Charlotte , North Carolina , weighing 230 pounds...Sean!

Bob Sinclair: At this moment, Sean has a two-match lead on Johnny Triumph in the Gamma Division. Diamond's win puts her two-and-a-half matches behind; a Sean win all but eliminates her from the divisional title hunt.

Frankie Garnett: If he wins here, he's got a good chance of taking the top overall spot in the League rankings.

" Billy Idol's "Shock to the System" hits as the Alpha Division leader walks to the ring, to the cheers of the crowd.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, weighing 278 pounds...Nuclear Templeton!

Bob Sinclair: Nuclear got a slight bit of breathing room as Skabb is now a match-plus behind Templeton, but he still can't be complacent as the British Warrior is still right on his heels.

Frankie Garnett: He lost last week; just looking at him I swear he's about to explode!

It's Still Locked In!

The referee has called for the bell!

FRANKIE GARNETT: What...?

AMELIA WILLIAMS: Here is your winner, in five and a half minutes...Sean!

BOB SINCLAIR: Sean pulls off an improbably quick win, and is now up by two-and-a-half in the Gamma Division over Johnny Triumph with four to go! Triumph is in a must-win if he wants to stay in the hunt for the division!

FRANKIE GARNETT: Forget that, Bob, the door is wide open for the British Warrior! If Warrior wins his match, he takes the Alpha Division lead!

BOB SINCLAIR: And if you believe in coincidences, folks, then our next match is sure to bring a smile to your face! It's Triumph and Warrior, and it's now!

Johnny Triumph (4-5) vs. The British Warrior (5-4)

Megadeth's "Symphony of Destruction" hits the speakers as the Gamma Division's second-place man walks out.

Amelia Williams: Our next bout is scheduled for one fall! Approaching the ring, from Des Moines , Iowa , weighing 228 pounds...Johnny Triumph!

Bob Sinclair: For Johnny Triumph, this is pucker time. A win keeps him within reach.

Frankie Garnett: The man can perform, Bob, given his numerous Match of the Night honors. None would be bigger than tonight.

"Rule, Britannia!" hits the airwaves next, as the crowd gets to their feet and cheers quite loudly.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from the United Kingdom , weighing 243 pounds...The British Warrior!

Bob Sinclair: This could be Warrior's time to shine. A win here gives him the Alpha Division lead thanks to the season sweep he holds over Templeton.

BOB SINCLAIR: He couldn't take it; Triumph passed out from the pain!

AMELIA WILLIAMS: Here is your winner, at seventeen minutes and ten seconds...The British Warrior!

FRANKIE GARNETT: Warrior takes over the Alpha Division lead, Bob, but I think the greater concern is the well-being of Johnny Triumph. The man endured not one, not two, but FIVE Figure Four Leg Locks.

BOB SINCLAIR: Indeed, as EMT's surround Triumph and look to immobilize the leg, you can hear the stunned silence among the fans as they bear witness to what just happened.

The images say it all. Triumph is barely conscious, groaning in pain as the EMT's work to stabilize the leg and move him onto the stretcher. It's almost as if a switch is flipped as he is slid under the bottom rope, as he forces the medics away and drops off the stretcher to the floor. He lets out a serious-sounding groan of pain, but yet he manages to press himself to all fours, with the damaged right leg stretched out behind him. With a scream, he staggers to his feet, his right leg all but dragging behind him as he hops toward the back. The crowd, which until now had been deathly silent, erupts into a standing ovation and a "Thank you, Triumph!" chant. The last we see of him this week is his beaten body limping through the curtain...beaten, yes, but his spirit unbroken.

FRANKIE GARNETT: ...I honestly don't know how he's going to be able to go in the ring next week, Bob. He's got a divisional match against Shawn Arrows, and even though the Gamma Division is all but locked up there's still the hunt for the wild card spot. If he even makes it to Glasgow next week I will be shocked.

BOB SINCLAIR: Our trainers are some of the best in the world, Frankie. If anyone can get him ready by next week, they can.

Shawn Arrows (3-6) vs. The Phoenix (2-7)

The opening strains of Linkin Park 's "Numb" break the silence to announce the start of the next contest.

Amelia Williams: This bout is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Raleigh , North Carolina , weighing 212 pounds...Shawn Arrows!

Bob Sinclair: It was said last week, and it bears repeating. Arrows is in a must-win situation.

Frankie Garnett: Yes, he is. A loss means that in order to even have a chance of winning the Gamma Division, he'd need to win out and Sean would need to lose all of his remaining matches. I don't see it likely.

There is a brief pause before the opening chord of "The Instinct" hits, to complete and utter silence from the crowd.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from The End of Nowhere, weighing 367 pounds...The Phoenix!

Frankie Garnett: You know, Bob, I've run out of derogatory things to say about him at this point. At least he'll give Arrows an easy win.

Bob Sinclair: With the rumors swirling that Phoenix will indeed be leaving at season's end, it's not hard to disagree with you there.

AMELIA WILLIAMS: Here is your winner, at seventeen minutes and ten seconds...Shawn Arrows!

BOB SINCLAIR: Arrows keeps his slim dreams of a playoff run alive with that win.

FRANKIE GARNETT: He might not make it, but he's still better than that fat piece of lard in the ring, Bob!

BETA DIVISION: Tarik Nolan (5-4) vs. SGRaaize (3-6)

"Regulate" hits the speakers to signify that the next match is about to begin.

Amelia Williams: Our next contest is a Beta Division bout scheduled for one fall! Introducing first...from Shreveport , Louisiana , weighing 292 pounds...Tarik Nolan!

Bob Sinclair: While a loss will not kill Tarik's chances for the playoffs, a win would really solidify his position for the last four weeks.

Frankie Garnett: He's a match behind both Maynard and Breaker for the best record in the division, but first he needs to worry about tonight.

The Portugese national anthem hits, drawing a fervent chorus of boos from the crowd.

Amelia Williams: His opponent, from Portugal , weighing 231 pounds...SGRaaize!

Amelia Williams: This match is a Beta Division match scheduled for one fall! Approaching the ring, from Liverpool , England , weighing 251 pounds...Robbie Maynard!

Bob Sinclair: Of the two men in this match, Maynard has the most to lose. A loss to Breaker not only takes him out of the Beta Division lead, but also out of the top four due to losing to Nuclear Templeton a couple of weeks ago.

Frankie Garnett: For a guy who started 4-0, that’s the last thing I expected!

Once again the silence is shattered, this time by Slipknot's "Wait and Bleed."

Amelia Williams: His opponent, weighing 251 pounds...Breaker!

**NOTE FROM THE LEAGUE DIRECTOR**

I’m writing this just before heading out for the evening. I’ll post a full show recap when I post Beyond Ringside this week instead of trying to rush it here. Worryingly, I was 4-0 before I sent in any training messages, and am 2-4 since - help!!

I changed up my moveset 3 matches ago.... and since then I seem to have developed an allergy to the figure 4 and any variation of it. Nuclear just seems to have crumbled in recent weeks for no obvious reason and it's making me very sad. Still, given we're all starting from 0 it's not like there was much seperating us, bad luck has to balance out against the good luck I started with... I was just hoping it wouldn't. :p

Hello once again, League fans! Tori Montgomery here, and last night proved to be a night of so-called upsets all around the League. We'll cover that, and more, as usual.

By request of Commissioner Colt Marshall, the Comments from Ringside section will be held off until the final week of the regular season, in order to better talk about current events. With that, we’ll go right into...

SEASON STANDINGS AFTER WEEK TEN

ALPHA DIVISION

1. The British Warrior (6-4, 2.60 / C- match rating)

2. Nuclear Templeton (6-4, 3.80 / C match rating)

3. Maxx Skabb (5-5, 5.20 / C+ match rating)

4. The Phoenix (2-8, 4.60 / C+ match rating)

With Warrior’s 2-0 record against Templeton, he has the tiebreaker and assumes the Alpha Division lead.

BETA DIVISION

1. Breaker (7-3, 4.30 / C match rating)

2. Robbie Maynard (6-4, 4.10 / C match rating)

3. Tarik Nolan (5-5, 3.00 / C- match raing)

4. SGRaaize (4-6, 3.80 / C match rating)

New division leader here too, as Breaker ends the nine-week stranglehold that Robbie Maynard had on this division.

GAMMA DIVISION

1. Sean (7-3, 4.00 / C match rating)

2. Shawn Arrows (4-6, 5.00 / C+ match rating)

3. Diamond (4-6, 6.00 / B- match rating)

4. Johnny Triumph (4-6, 6.00 / B- match rating)

First tie-breaker (head to head) doesn’t apply as Arrows and Triumph have not faced each other.

Second tie-breaker (divisional record) goes to Arrows at 3-1. Both Diamond and Triumph are 1-3.

Third tie-breaker for Triumph and Diamond (match rating) is a wash, both are at 6.00 / B-.

It comes down to the final tie-breaker (season earnings), which Diamond wins by just one picture of Andrew Jackson (or $20, for our non-American friends). This is the first time the tie-breaker has had to go this deep to break a deadlock.

THE HUNT FOR SEPTEMBER: THE PLAYOFF CHASE

THE LEADERS...

#1 Seed: Sean (7-3, 3-1 Gamma Division, 4.00 Match Rating)

* Three match lead, four matches left in the regular season. It’s almost assured that Sean is in the playoffs barring a disastrous run. He moves up one spot from last week.

* Next opponents: Diamond (4-6), Breaker (7-3)

#2 Seed: Breaker (7-3, 3-1 Beta Division, 4.30 Match Rating)

* A win over Robbie Maynard jumps Breaker from the wild card to the number two slot, a gain of two positions.

* Next opponents: Nuclear Templeton (6-4), Sean (7-3)

#3 Seed: The British Warrior (6-4, 4-0 Alpha Division, 2.60 Match Rating)

* After last week, Warrior finds himself in the top four and vying for a playoff spot. Two-position gain for the Brit, who has a seemingly easy schedule in the next two weeks, though the second match could prove to be tricky.

* Next opponents: SGRaaize (4-6), Maxx Skabb (5-5)

THE WILD CARD...

Wild Card (#4 Seed): Nuclear Templeton (6-4, 2-2 Alpha Division, 3.80 Match Rating)

* Templeton falls one spot, but has the tie-breaker over fellow 6-4 record holder Robbie Maynard due to their week seven match in Montreal. He has a tough match next but gets a break in London.

* Next opponents: Breaker (7-3), The Phoenix (2-8)

AND THE FOLLOWERS...

On the Brink: Robbie Maynard (6-4, 3-1 Beta Division, 4.10 Match Rating)

* The #1 seed last week falls four spots to #5, and out of the playoff positions, following his loss to Breaker last week. His schedule is one of the easiest in the next two weeks; I don't see him being here too long.

* Next opponents: First Blood vs. The Phoenix (2-8), Shawn Arrows (4-6)

On the brink: Maxx Skabb (5-4, 2-2 Alpha Division, 5.78 Match Rating)

* Skabb remains at #6, his divisional record still the tie-breaker. He's one match behind the top two in the Alpha Division, and controls his fate with a pair of very important matches ahead.

* Next opponents: Tarik Nolan (5-5), British Warrior (6-4)

On the Brink: Tarik Nolan (5-5, 1-3 Beta Division, 3.00 Match Rating)

* Still checking in at #7, Nolan's chances did not improve much with his loss last week, but being one match out of the wild card at the moment, he's still got a shot.

* Next opponents: Maxx Skabb (5-5), Diamond (4-6)

Needs Help: Shawn Arrows (4-6, 3-1 Gamma Division, 5.00 Match Rating)

* Up two spots to #8, Arrows still needs a lot of help to make the wild card, and a miracle to win the Gamma Division. If he wins this week, his week twelve matchup stands to be the one to ruin the season.

* Next opponents: Johnny Triumph (4-6), Robbie Maynard (6-4)

Needs Help: Diamond (4-6, 1-3 Gamma Division, 6.00 Match Rating)

* Up two spots to #9, she gets a minor upgrade in status, though her schedule still limits her chances in my opinion. She's not Queen of the Upset for nothing, though, and could still surprise people.

* Next opponents: Sean (7-3), Tarik Nolan (5-5)

Basically Eliminated: Johnny Triumph (4-6, 1-3 Gamma Division, 6.00 Match Rating)

* Down three spots to #10, Triumph now finds himself all but done for the season. A weak-looking schedule may give him a chance yet, though.

* Next opponents: Shawn Arrows (4-6), SGRaaize (4-6)

Basically Eliminated: SGRaaize (3-6, 1-3 Beta Division, 3.80 Match Rating)

* Down two spots to #11, Raaize is in the same scenario as Triumph as his season is all but over at this point.

* Next opponents: British Warrior (6-4), Johnny Triumph (4-6)

Eliminated: The Phoenix (2-8, 0-4 Alpha Division, 4.60 Match Rating)

* He's not getting out of last place, folks.

* Next opponents: First Blood vs. Robbie Maynard (6-4), Nuclear Templeton (6-4)

BREAKING NEWS

I've just received word that an incident occurred after the show went off the air. League cameras did capture the event, and we'll go to footage of it now.

Exterior: Car Park at Odyssey Stadium, Belfast

Coming out of the arena is Robbie Maynard, a scowl on his face after his loss to Breaker earlier in the night. Security trails him by about five paces. Off-screen, a bit of commotion is heard, as SGRaaize tries to close in on Maynard but is being held back by security. Raaize screams something in Portuguese, which is sub-titled at the bottom of the screen as "I should have beat you two weeks ago." As Maynard's security heads over to help restrain Raaize, the large figure of Nuclear Templeton emerges from the left side of the shot, blasting Maynard in the head with what appears to be a lead pipe. Maynard falls in a heap, and Templeton gets in five or six quick punches to the head before three groups of security come in to pull Nuclear away.

Nuclear Templeton: You aren't making the playoffs, Robbie! Not while I have a say in it!

The group of ten security personnel forcibly push Templeton back as Maynard slowly gets to his feet, shaking his head to clear the cobwebs. He manages to steady his walk by the time he gets to his vehicle, and climbs in. The camera pans over to where Nuclear is finally calming down, and turns from the security goons to head towards his own vehicle. The roaring of an engine is he only clue as to what's coming next, as Nuclear dives between a pair of parked vehicles as Maynard drives by at a high rate of speed. The last image we see is Maynard's hand sticking out the right side window, middle finger extended in the air as he rounds a corner and vanishes from view.

...As you can see, ladies and gents, the season is becoming incredibly heated. Colt Marshall has already said that Maynard and Templeton are banned from being within fifty meters of each other, and has stressed that he will enforce this edict with sanctions including ineligibility from the playoffs. If either of these men know what's good for their careers, they will obey that verdict for the next month...or at least, I would hope they would.

PREDICTION CENTRAL

No two people ended up with the same amount of correct guesses this week, which means that once again we have an outright leader. Miss moon_lit_tears got the most correct with five, while Mr. masterded did not earn a single point this week, and I only earned one.

With five weeks of predictions remaining, here are the season standings:

1. moon_lit_tears: 36 points

2. SeanMcG: 35 points

3. derek_b: 32 points

4. Prophet: 31 points

5. Tori Montgomery: 29 points

6. I effin rule: 21 points

7. masterded: 20 points

8. Wrestling Century: 7 points

9. MichiganHero: 6 points

10. Zeel1: 4 points

Kilts are the dress code this week as Glasgow's Firhill Stadium hosts The League for the eleventh week of the season. The 11,000-seat outdoor stadium is already sold out, and buzz is building over a couple of key matchups this week. Let's get to it!

WEEK ELEVEN: GLASGOW, SCOTLAND (UK)

(Regular match, can be stopped for blood loss, no ref bumps allowed)

Breaker (7-3, 6%) vs. Nuclear Templeton (6-4, 15%)

Starting off the night with one of the major bouts. Templeton is angry, and he's more well-known in Scotland. Honestly, I do not like Breaker's chances in this one.

Tori's Prediction: Nuclear Templeton, via pinfall (Armageddon Lariat), 9:00, E

GAMMA DIVISION: Sean (7-3, 9%) vs. Diamond (4-6, 15%)

A win for Sean eliminates two people from division title contention. Diamond's in front of her home crowd, though, and although she was just a lower midcard worker in her regional federation, I think she'll come through for her hometown fans and pull out a win.

Tori's Prediction: Diamond, via pinfall (Diamond in the Sky), 13:40, C-

SGRaaize (4-6, 15%) vs. The British Warrior (6-4, 12%)

Warrior has finally gotten into the Alpha Division lead. He's not going to give it up this quick.

Tori's Prediction: British Warrior, via submission (Figure Four Leg Lock), 8:10, D

GAMMA DIVISION: Johnny Triumph (4-6, 15%) vs. Shawn Arrows (4-6, 15%)

Loser here is all but eliminated from the divisional title hunt. Calling a minor upset once again.

Tori's Prediction: Shawn Arrows, via pinfall (Slingshot Legdrop), 11:40, B-

FIRST BLOOD: Robbie Maynard (6-4, 15%) vs. The Phoenix (2-8, 15%)

Really, do I have to explain this one?

Tori's Prediction: Robbie Maynard, via blood-letting (Seated Knuckle Punches), 14:20, C+

Sorry. I didn't know it would do that. If you'd have told me that I'd have said to just wait and I'd have done it when I got in at 11:30 last night. :(

I should send in my roleblock against MLT... seems to be the only way I'm gonna even have a chance at winning, and that's assuming Sean does badly too.

Predictions are hard, I tend to just pick where I want results to go. Without knowing what people's stats actually are it's mostly luck in what is happening anyways. Still... Nuclear is working on his allergy to the figure 4 so hopefully he'll do better this time out. :)
