Astil
Don't know if anyone here plays these games, but for anyone who does I had a quick question. I was thinking of getting Europa Universalis 3 and was wondering if it could be uploaded to Victoria. From what I understand you could move a game as follows: EU3 -> Victoria -> Hearts of Iron 2 -> ??? Can anyone confirm or deny this? Thanks. Actually it's EU2 -> Victoria -> HOI 2 Despite that I would still recommend EU3, it's my personal favorite Paradox Game.
Daffanka
There's a massive let's play (here) of someone doing a CK > EU3 > Victoria > HOI2 game. It was pretty awesome. I'm playing Victoria right now, waiting for Victoria 2 to be patched and fixed.
jhd1
Actually it's EU2 -> Victoria -> HOI 2 Despite that I would still recommend EU3, it's my personal favorite Paradox Game. I think someone released a mod/utility that can also convert from EU3 to Victoria 1 but it had its problems. I think you can even convert from Crusader Kings to EU2. You should be able to pick up EU3 Complete for about £5-10 which isn't too much of a gamble. Never tried Heir to the Throne though... My favourite Paradox game is Crusader Kings (very happy about CK2!), closely followed by Victoria. I always intend on playing HOI2 (which I have got) but I always find it a little daunting. Hive
I used to be massively into Paradox games, good stuff. Though they peaked with EU2 in my opinion. But (thankfully for Paradox), I seem to be in the minority with that opinion.

shamelessposer
I've got EU3 and Victoria. In EU3 I really like to unify the Dutch into a major international trade power and get a head start on colonizing the New World, or just playing Burgundy, joining the HRE, then abusing my power the second they make the mistake of electing me Emperor. Japan is a lot of fun, too, because if you play your cards right you can do a lot to capitalize on the inevitable collapse of Manchu or Ming. Victoria is fun for me for a lot of different reasons. Sometimes I play Brazil or Argentina and try to slowly unify South America. Sometimes I play Japan and try to modernize into an industrial power, and sometimes I play the US and just get upset when the Capitalists refuse to build stuff I need. Back before the VIP mod decided to disappear up its own ass, another favorite pastime of mine was to take control of Texas, conquer Haiti at the first available opportunity, remain a sovereign nation, and then push as hard as possible to turn Texas into a particularly hawkish Socialist worker's paradise, for the lulz. These games always led to me taking Louisiana from the CSA.
Anggur Merah
My favourite is Victoria and EU2. I don't know why, but EU3 seems doesn't impress me too much. Love Paradox so much, but when they port their game into 3D, it just seem off for me. Haven't tried Vicky 2, but wiling to buy it to support them, though... I'm hoping it's better than Vicky:R, which I think is their masterpiece along with EU2.

They change the game from a pretty good one to probably the best thing they've released. I've still got a soft spot for Victoria: Revolutions, but EU3 Complete is probably the most impressive game from a technical point of view. Capelli King
I am a huge fan of Paradox games, have been for some time. Besides Victoria 2 i have all their other games. I feel though that they have not really improved too much, recent versions are not an improvement or at least not so much of an improvement. They also rip you off for all their little upgrades, so it is better to wait till they release everything and buy the bundle (complete) version for a cut price, which is what i do now. EU3 complete is probably their best one, HOI3 is a HUGE disappointment in my opinion, still trying to get used to it.
