But that was 2005, In 2010 whats the most fun company to play with out of the bigger promotions. I want to pick a top 5 promotion. Well in your mind whats the best top 5 promotion to play with. If you want to run a company where you only have to book matches then NOTBPW or TCW would be the way to go. If you want to run a company where in addition to matches you have to book angles then USPW and SWF would be the way to go. I don't have the patience for anything smaller than Regional, but I find SWF and TCW too established for me to have much fun with. USPW is definitely in my sweet spot. Plus it has great characters like Chris Caulfield (he is my SCSA mega star in my current year and a half game), Liberty, Nicky Champion, Enygma, T-Rex, etc. I enjoy playing APW as well. The thing with FCW is that so many different styles of wrestler are there at the start (the lumbering oafs, talented middle weight stars, lurchas, high experience tag teams and highly over experienced stars). Its really easy to get lost in games with then (have been going for 2 and half years which is a new record for me). Only annoying this is that it's really hard to bring in the stars like Dread etc on one off appearances that you'd thought would be tempted to show up going by PRP's bio history (even if they were really expensive) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They resembled the kind of promotion I like best and they had a good balance of base talent and holes to either fill or fix. They needed just the right amount of work for it to be fun. But once DAVE fell and The Syndicate storyline started, they lost that charm to me and now I'd say USPW is the most appealing project of the bigger boys. I tend to prefer playing money mark trying to to grow the next generation than being a big timer. So I don't play name promotions much if at all. I never used to be this good with NOTBPW but it seemed like overnight something clicked for me and I am able to pull out A matches out of the air. NOTBPW isn't challenging for me anymore if I am playing a game just for matches that are rated over a 90. Good thing I have never just played a game to get A matches, however if I want a challenge I will go with USPW because quite frankly I suck as them. I have two games going right now one with NOTBPW and one with USPW both around June 2011 and right now I am favoring the NOTBPW game because like I said I suck at USPW but I am playing a game with them to try to get better.</p><p> </p><p> Sorry for the long rant but I just thought it was neccesary.</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
