This match should probably end in DQ, Sean shouldn't pin Christian as it would make your midcard champion look weak but I don't see Christian pinning Sean either.

While the ending of the USS was a great twist, and I'm definitely intrigued to see where this is going next, I'm also kind of bummed that Zeus had to turn heel. It's generally harder for me to really get into a babyface's character, and babyface Zeus' was one of those that really worked for me.</p><p> </p><p>

Still it seems like he's trying to fight the potion that was forced on him (unlike Poison who drank it voluntarily), so here's me hoping that he'll turn good again eventually.</p><p> </p><p>

And while I generally have nothing against supernatural/fantasy gimmicks, literally using lightning bolts as his regular finisher to win matches is still a little <em>too</em> over the top for my taste. <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Most have been crossed out, but not all. RICKY, JACK and MARIE DECOLT look at Alex’s work in a mixture of confusion and horror. How long has he been working on this?</p><p> </p><p>

a way with words. I've boiled it down to around twenty suspects, and</p><p>

tonight I'm going to boil it down even more. I'm going to get him in</p><p>

the ring and force him to make choices. I'm going to back him into</p><p>

a corner. If he goes left, I know he's not a guy who goes right. </p><p>

Boy, having a week between episodes seems like an eternity. It’s time well spent though. Recharging. Coming up with new ideas. I’ve always had this framework of the grand story I want to tell, but there are gaps that have been a struggle recently. Not for this chapter, but the ones after. Sure, I know the main event feud, but what’s the opener? How do I make that interesting? My original well of ideas is running dry.</p><p> </p><p>

Slightly disappointing rating on this one, I figure the result of an ill-placed All Out note on a slightly too long main event. Cardio issues. No clue what happened with Deeley/Price. I expected better. They're young though. Perhaps too young. Unlike real life, age and size are two things TEW doesn't shove in your face, but I try to pay attention. While I'm a cruiserweight mark, I wonder how CGC crowds accept smaller (or younger) wrestlers. </p><p> </p><p>

Deeley is forced to start by his teammates and falls victim to a series of Samoan headbutts, until Chandler starts making kissy-faces at Tama, distracting him long enough to eat a big boot from DaLay. The Giant Amongst Giants bullies the tiny Samoan around the ring, while Deeley twists his arm at unholy angles, and Chandler practically humps him into the mat.

Davis Ditterich “It doesn’t look like Stevie has been able to get through to his former friend, and that’s fine by Jack. He’s here to fight Soothsayer’s newest monster.”

 

Zeus’ face twitches with a million conflicting emotions, while Jack’s is fixed on white hot rage. The bells rings and Jack goes berserk with right hands and shoulder tackles, until Zeus unexpectedly switches gears and lays him out with a Twisting Spinebuster! Zeus attacks erratically, alternating between cruel strikes, flashy submissions and furious slams. Every time Jack finds a strategy to deal with one type of attack, The God of the Future changes it up. Jack’s getting frustrated. Making mistakes.

 

Forcing himself to calm down, Jack attacks the elbow, breaking free and working it over with simple but effective grappling techniques. He mounts Zeus in the corner and starts to Punch! Him! In! The- Zeus grabs him by the throat and overpowers him towards the opposite turnbuckle. Jack desperately unloads with more punches to the face until he lets go, and hits the Wild Ride (Reverse Death Valley Driver)! Jack starts to lock on End of-

I just saw Josh Jones is a CGC guy now in WreSpi3! Good call. Alan Parent is there too. :eek:

 

I noticed. I spent an hour or so poring over the new WreSpi3 demo, as I like to present things similar to how Adam intended. I used WreSpi2 a lot when figuring out movesets, and am finding the new stats, new attributes and new move descriptions fascinating. Even at points where they conflict with what I've been writing. There's at least one character who's going to change (or show a different side of himself that I didn't know existed) thanks to the demo. On the subject of CGC's newcomers, they'll recieve special consideration when I'm needing new talent, or wanting fresh faces to develop. I brought in John McClean over similarly exciting free agents because of that connection to CGC canon, so John Jones, Drake Young, Chucky Dorrace et al will get closer looks. Alan Parent, however, won’t, as he’s been snapped up on a Development deal elsewhere.
