Bobby Roode v Kevin Steen

A match which saw some solid action and lifted a quiet crowd, Roode performed poorly against the debutant Steen. Steen on the other hand, made the most of Roode’s under performance by performing well in front of PSW fans for the first time, and duly took advantage by taking the night’s opening contest in 8:34 by submission. E+

Drew McIntyre v Doug Williams

Is McIntyre back on the rise back up? After a hugely impressive start to his career in PSW, he is now showing signs of getting back to where he was in PSW’s fledgling days. Here he dispatched his fellow Brit Doug Williams in 9:38 by submission. D

Austin Aries v ‘Cowboy’ James Storm

Brains overcame brawn in another decent matchup. Storm took the fight to his smaller opponent but Aries used his nous and his abundance of in ring talentby dispatching the Cowboy in 13:05 by pinfall with a Brainbuster. D-

Claudio Castagnoli v Nigel McGuinness

Nigel McGuinness continued his strong form since returning from Japan in a clash between two technical class wrestlers who are also tough nuts. It was a stiff bout, with plenty of hard hitting and tough holds, and Claudio Castagnoli came up short in 14:42 by pinfall with a Guvnors Crumpet. D

CM Punk v Caprice Coleman

A good crowd and a decent match. Coleman put himself in line for another title opportunity by gaining another well earned victory, but having received three shots at AJ Styles already and coming up short every time, it remains to be seen if Coleman will be granted a fourth chance at the title. The win came here in 17:28 by submission as Punk stuttered following some decent recent form. D

PSW SOUTH EASTERN CHAMPIONSHIP

AJ Styles (champion) v Amazing Red

Despite the main event lacking in psychology, it was a very good match which had PSW’s record crowd on the edge of their seats for much of the match. AJ and Red put on an exciting, fast paced contest with many near falls and ‘ooohs’ and ‘aaahs’ from the fans, The end came in 21:42 by pinfall with a Styles Clash. AJ Styles makes defence number 6 of his PSW South Eastern title. C

Show rating: C-

PSW have increased popularity in the South East.

Attendance: 59 (new PSW record)

Loss: $4070

Flashpoint was PSW’s second best ever show.

Nobby, if I have one request it is this. Please run KOW in PSW. With Steen involved. Please. :p

KOW meaning Kings of Wrestling? I know from your previous prediction prize was for Kings of Wrestling to have a match and I've booked it for One Step Away, the March 2002 show. Steen getting involved might happen at a later date.

Without spoiling who has joined, I have signed some more wrestlers as the company is growing as my next show in game is April 2002.
