The Background Information

Hello everyone. Thank you for taking the opportunity to read the beginning of this diary. As many of you know, there have been people who call me 'Mr. USPW' due to my many USPW diaries that I have done within the past. The longest USPW diary I have run within the past has been just short of 7 months. That is my second-longest running diary of all time. What I have yet to be able to do (something I have tried and failed at) is to run a USPW diary for a full real life year or in-game year. That has been my failure and something that I truly have regretted. But I am looking forward to trying again. That is what this diary is all about.

 

But What About Your Other Diary?

My real world diary is far from dead. I have reached a point in that diary where I have to make a decision on certain things and I am working to make that decision. But I am intending on running both diaries at the same time. It is something that I have done in the past with both success and failure. Though I had one of my greatest successes running two diaries together.

 

Inspiration

jhd1 - A great diary writer and one that I go to for support again and again. He is one of my best friends on these GDS boards. He is also responsible for a lot of the graphics work that gets done both in the diary and in different games. I thank him for that.

 

Eisen-verse - Another amazing diary writer. He is a definite influence on this diary as one will see when things get running. He is another one of my friends and always offers good advice when I need it. His focus on the Supreme world has been an inspiration on my finding the USPW voice once more.

 

Alt/Render/Re-Render Artists - I cannot forget these amazing artists that bring the Cornellverse to life almost more-so than the real world. You will see a lot of alts/Re-Renders used within this diary. All credit for them goes to their respective artists. A special thank you goes to these artists.

 

Lexa90, BHK1978, critical-23, TheLeviticalLawKid3, 20LEgend, Bigpapa42, Emark, Tigerkinney, Rayelek, Midnightnick and more - These names have been some of the more long-lasting names that have commented and predicted within my diaries in the past. They have been and always continue to be an inspiration to me in their comments and predictions. They always seem to stick by me through thick and thin, though some more-so than others now. But I just want to thank them here and now for their predictions and comments in the past.

BREAKING NEWS: Rich Money Out Of SWF!

One of the biggest shocks begins the new year here at Promotion Wars as we have received word that Rich Money is officially gone from Supreme Wrestling Federation. This word has come down from SWF Headquarters as we have reports of an argument that occurred between Rich Money and the reclusive Richard Eisen one day prior to this release. Rumors circulated recently about Rich Money not being happy with his current contract and with dropping the title to Steve Frehley before being removed from the World title picture completely.

 

No one knows where Rich Money will go now. However, our sources are saying that his contract will allow him to go to any promotion at any time right now. Some contracts have a 90 day clause that doesn't allow them to move to another promotion within that 90 day period.

Quietly following the WCW diary (just haven't had time to predict) and, like your previous USPW works, I'm following/reading this one too. Hoping this one goes the distance!

You know I'll be following, Angel.

 

It can be really tough to try to push ahead with a project that you've had troubles with in the past. My numerous attempts at the SWF is an example of that. Truthfully though, when it 'clicks', there's no better feeling than to finally accomplish a goal or two here on the GDS boards.

 

USPW has been your destination point several times. Each project brought something intriguing to the fold. In a lot of ways, as you said, you have become "Mr. USPW" as you've shown a sense of dedication to telling their story. I hope, in the end, you're able to take that dedication and stretch it a bit further (as you want to). It can be a challenge to really go 'long term' in a game but, once you get past the original 'newness' and find a stride, there's nothing more exciting.

 

Best of luck with this. The greatest advice that I can offer, as someone who has gone down this road, is to be flexible with what you're attempting to create. Have some long term plans to guide the boat but allow yourself to have fun with the week-to-week creation of it all. For me, the overarching stuff is point of focus, where I'm going, but the ability to create a weekly TV show, one with a specific feel for that night, is truly the thing that keeps you 'locked in' and interested.

 

Now go out there and knock down some walls; create the USPW epic you've always wanted.

USPW American Wrestling Preview!

We are headed into the very first USPW American Wrestling show of the new year and what a show we have coming for you.

 

Last week on the Christmas episode of USPW American Wrestling,

Tyson Baine

made his intentions crystal clear when he confronted the USPW World Champion

Nicky Champion

in the ring. That confrontation led to Champion receiving a fireball to the face! The champ is still in the hospital for this week's show but rumor has it that he will be giving an interview from his hospital bed on American Wrestling. In his first words since the fireball, what will Nicky Champion have to say about Tyson Baine?

 

Last week,

Freddie Datsun

promised us that he would have a major announcement this week on USPW American Wrestling. What could that announcement be?

 

We will see a continuation of what has become known as World War 3 here in USPW. Members of USPW have banded together to take on the Sneer Corporation. Both sides will be in the building.

also promises to bring in a brand new talent to take on

. Who could this brand new talent be?

BREAKING NEWS: USPW Agree To Deals With AAA and QAW!

This may be more shocking to some than to others, however, we have learned that United States Pro Wrestling has signed working agreements with two of the top female wrestling promotions in the world. The agreement has been made between owners

Sam Strong

,

Anne Stardust

and

Farrah Hesketh

.

 

Of course this means that we will be seeing wrestlers such as

Belle Bryden

,

Alicia Strong

and

Cherry Bomb

in AAA and QAW. Farrah Hesketh has announced the deal and said that this can only mean more mainstream coverage for her wrestlers and more mainstream wrestlers coming into Queens of American Wrestling. She has stated that she is looking to build her brand and that this working agreement is the next logical step. Anne Stardust and Sam Strong have yet to comment.

 

The womens division in USPW has been a growing part of the promotion and part of their push to national status in the United States. It is one of the things that separates their product from the products of SWF and TCW. It will be interesting to see how they utilize the new talent that should be coming in as a result of this working agreement.
