<p>Why do moves like "Kick to gut" which are described as leaving the opponent doubled over, are not set to "Leaves opponent: Reeling" ?</p><p> </p><p>

Instead, this move and others like it I found, are set to leave opponent standing (facing).</p><p> </p><p>

Doesn't make sense to me, is it just a mistake or am I missing the reason?</p><p>

Seems to me like it should leave the attacker with the opportunity to follow it up with another move, which seems like the purpose of "reeling".</p>

Is there any real reason not to 'fight back' when the opponent is trying to do something? <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<p>If the move your opponent is attempting to do has a high Chance of Hit (I'd say anything above 650) then I wouldn't bother trying to fight back. I'd attempt to block, avoid, whatever. If they are using a move that has a lower Chance of Hit, and you want to fight back, then use the Low Level moves. They have the highest Chance of Hit, meaning if your opponent misses, then you're move has a good chance of countering.</p><p> </p><p>

This is all from personal experience, though. How I play.</p><p> </p><p>

Also it's worth noting that fighting back, or countering, only works if the opponent misses. It doesn't work like block or avoid, you are totally chancing that your opponent will miss there move.</p>

Pretty sure FIN means the actual Fight Back counter action on being picked up/tagging out/leaving the ring, not countering with a move, Ray. :)

There's no real reason not to fight back, unless (as Showtime said) you'd prefer to be in the position it'd put you in. But most of the time fighting back is the better option; for instance, if he's picking you up and you fight back successfully you'll be standing up anyway. Usually the only time I Allow something is tagging out to an inferior wrestler (unless he has waaayy more health), or raising me to the top turnbuckle if I'm a high flier.

Oh my bad. I was half asleep when I posted that <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<p>Is doing tag storylines the only way to extend your title run?</p><p> </p><p>

I got a legendary GCG title run with Jay Chord but it lasted from January (last match) to May and I was forced to vacate it. Seems rather short to be considered legendary. In theory you could do other storylines in between defending the title but it doesnt make much sense to me.</p>

I'm new to this series and I'm loving the game. I have a quick query that, hopefully, some of the more seasoned players can help me with. I know that Spirit points automatically activate when you need them and that as many as necessary are used until they are spent. Is there a counter of how many are remaining that I am not seeing or is it meant to be hidden?

You can't directly tell her to do things, she'll do them when she wants to/sees an opportunity. Check her profile to make sure she CAN actually do things though (some managers might not be able to). In the Manager screen (Employment > click the manager's name) there's a list: Can Trip, Can Interfere, Can Attack, etc. If she can't do any of those then she's pretty useless. If you're using the default data, everyone should be able to do at least one thing, but it's worth checking.

Okay, I did have her distracting my opponent come up as a counter to a few moves. What about distracting the ref so I can get some cheating in as is the tradition for heel managers since the dawn of wrestling time? What do I have to do to get that to show up?
