Anyway, found another oversight. John Tenta has 75% hard drugs and drinking. He was set as pretty Flaky too for some reason. Unless I missed something, I don't remember him missing too many shows. I seem to recall this oversight being in justtxyank's 91 mod as well, which he has since corrected.</p>

Looking forward to starting a new WCW or ECW game with this mod sometime this week! Never ended up doing it earlier, if I have any notes I'll send them your way. Things are looking pretty good now though, just gonna make the minor changes noted myself in the meantime.

It has been discussed before, and I even did it in an earlier version. But the problem is that if we do that, then WCW will not be able to negotiate *any* other TV deals - not even abroad. So no chance they'll ever be able to be broadcast in Japan or the UK, for instance. I don't like that.

Hive is right. Setting TBS to own WCW in TEW is flawed because the game restricts you to using members of your media group/network to show your programs. WCW actually was aired on Turner stations in several countries, but it was shown on non-Turner countries in most non-US countries.

 

I hope that is something Adam fixes for the next release.

Time Warner wasn't created yet, so the media group that owns TNT, CNN, TBS, etc would be owned by Turner Broadcasting. WCW was never owned by a TV channel, they were owned by a media group which is in the game. The only way to do it in game is to make a Turner owned station in every region

Hive, I have a WCW game about to go into '96 that I've been thoroughly enjoying. I'll post some notes and stuff for you though I'm sure many of your sims went much further than the first few months of gameplay, just interesting to see how each plays out. Jarrett is WWF champ and still on a PPA (assuming because he won't leave Memphis) but I doubt I can poach him away, considering I'm playing as Bischoff as well (making it much harder to get most of the top free agent talent at the start.)

 

Thanks again for all your hard work, this is maybe my favourite mod thus far on the board.

I just started fooling with this mod and realized in changing the pics to the pictures I use for all my real world games that both A Train and Matt Bloom are in the game. I just thought I'd post it here I'm not sure if you've moved on from the mod or if there are any more releases coming.
