However Terry Thunder himself has said he will join the pair at ringside, hopefully to even the odds should things turn ugly!

Serious guess: Shawn Brockman. He can easily be slotted in as the number one guy in the stable and he's got an authentic background.

 

Hopeful guess: Darren Corbett. One of my guys and a favourite of mine. Would love to see him in going for heel hooks with wild abandon.

Right, first of all, my knowledge on ThunderVerse is sadly very limited so I will likely do some mistakes because of that. Now, with that out of the way, this felt quite even to me right until I figured that Ruiz is an enchancement talent... yeah, I don´t see him going over Curtis then.

Another "close one until I saw their push" type of match, and again I don´t see upper midcard guy losing to opener no-matter who his manager is.

Closer one in terms of push (well, expect Mayhem) but this time it´s the "champion will win his first title defense in diary" rule (well, not really a rule but it works more often than not ) comes to help me.

Rudy Single welcomed viewers to the show before making his way to the front row, mentioning that he's spotted a wrestling star in the audience, former WWWE & MMA star Shawn Brockman. After swapping pleasantries Rudy asked Shawn's opinion of the upcoming match between the MMA Allstars and Curtis & Hughes... after zero deliberation Brockman gave it to the Allstars, "...preferably by knockout!". Single & Brockman laughed as the ring announcer introduced the match.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Sebastian Curtis and Will Hughes defeated MMA AllStars in 10:01 by DQ when Shawn Brockman jumped the barrier, got in the ring and delivered a KO Punch to an unsuspecting Seb Curtis while Terry Thunder & Will Hughes were distracted brawling with Mo Fury & Jesus Rio on the outside.

After Thunder & Hughes chased the MMA Allstars from the ring the Coach grabbed a mic and declared it's time to properly introduce the newest member of the MMA Allstars and the real challenger for Curtis' title this Sunday at Showdown, Shawn Brockman. Brockman grabbed the mic, laughed and said he did predict the match would end in a KO! He went on to predict more of the same at Sunday Night Showdown, before the whole crew laughed their way off the stage. We saw Thunder & Hughes checking on a groggy Seb Curtis as the show cut to commercial.

The Franchise Players w/h Lois Paige made their way to the ring, Lois declared once again that Marco & Eric should be considered the #1 Contenders to the NAWF World Tag Team Titles and issues a challenge to champions the Phreak Rockers to face the Franchise Players at Sunday Night Showdown. However instead of the Phreak Rockers, South Central make their way to the ring. Ieshia tells 'Lil Miss Thang' to cool her heels, cos her boys are here to 'represent' and claim that 'bling' for themselves. Lois & Ieshia looked ready to throw down themselves in the middle of the ring when the Phreak Rockers' guitar riff hit the PA and the champions came out to the stage. Bass Phreak simply said 'We accept', Lois & Ieshia both demanded to know which team got the shot and Bass Phreak just says 'Both of ya' with Guitar Phreak leaning in to add 'We're rockstars baby! We got a tonne of experience at three-way action!'. The pair rocked out on stage to their entrance music while the two teams in the ring eyed each other suspiciously as the show cuts to commercial

The Globotron above the ring fired up and showed a short skit comedy skit with Kal Patel & Hugh Mann trying to teach Woo Mercy & Ali Ababwa how to play the NAWF SuperStars video game (in stores in time for Christmas kids!). Hugh accidentally began playing using his alien mind powers but, luckily, Kal managed to stop him before the aging veterans caught on to what was happening!

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, "Ravishing" Riley defeated Oxbridge Outlaw and Mayhem in 7:37 when "Ravishing" Riley defeated Mayhem with a quick roll-up pin. Riley Johansen makes defence number 5 of his NAWF United States title.

Riley & the Outlaw were both forced to quickly bail from the ring thanks to a furious Mayhem roaring about being robbed of the win. Bill Hickock tried to cheer Mayhem up by encouraging the youngster to give the audience some abuse, it worked and the pair went up the aisle, knocking drinks out of hands and ripping up fan-made banners as we cut to commercial.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, American Warrior and Derek Grace defeated Comrade Dobrenko and Comandante Montejo in 9:37 when American Warrior defeated Comandante Montejo by pinfall with a Warrior Slam. During the match Derek Grace received a huge powerbomb from in the ring to the outside from Comrade Dobrenko and was stretchered from ringside following the match.

We returned to Terry Thunder on a talkshow style set who introduced this week's guest for his regular segment "ThunderTalk", Vincent I Parker. Thunder asked if VIP is enjoying his time in NAWF and Parker said that NAWF is great, the fans are great, but he's kinda getting sick of the target that seems to be painted on his back by what he called a 'distinctly confederate' presence in the company... 'that's right Terry, I said it...'. Thunder looks shocked, but thanks VIP for joining him and as VIP leaves Thunder introduces the main event: VIP vs Tanner Ellis.
