I don't know what math ratings are. Does that have anything to do with perfect show theory? I have pst turned off.

The match was 23 minutes, distraction and decisive win. They have great chemistry, my product is hotter than ever and they are both in the top 5 of my franchise player list. I didn't really do anything to make it stand out. It was just a regular match.

It was well hyped up during the show, including promos before it and a long angle to start the show.

Probably just that you turned off PST. Thanks!

No problem.

Royal Rumble 1995 is next.

The winner is..... Bret Hart. Yes, Shawn is the runner up. Scott Steiner and Razor Ramon are in the final four. Steve Austin will be found out cold backstage, unlike real life, he does not return for the rumble match. Lame!

I had a look at the Bret vs Pillman overall head to head, including tag team matches. The score is Brian wins 6 and 5 draws. Bret has not beaten Brian Pillman before. Will this change at Wrestlemania 11?

Brian Pillman will retain the WWF title against Randy Savage. The fans want Savage to win so bad, but I'm sorry to disappoint.

Razor Ramon retained the ic title against Triple H. Botched interference from Edge. I am thinking cage match at Wrestlemania. Triple H to win it then.

Frank Castle defeated Ken Shamrock in a no dq match. I was going to do their rematch at Wrestlemania. Shamrock accepted another mma fight so I had to get it over with now. Exiting stage assault followed the win.

Not sure about the rest of the Wrestlemania 11 card yet. We have Mike Tyson vs Steve Austin, Bret Hart vs Pillman and Scott Steiner vs The Ultimate Warrior, so far.

<p>July, user initiated rise from small to lightweight= Zel Quinn is now ripped and B- star quality</p><p> </p><p>

September, randomly after my event= Zel Quinn is now flabby with C+ star quality</p><p> </p><p>

Guess the figurehead search goes on, time to scout those other 20 somethings, and see if I can build up Seignour Richard's C- charisma to go with his A* star quality.</p>

<p>Playing as WWE in one of the modern packs, I have found that my new favorite feature is "Hire Local" as I really didn't have much of an idea what I was going to do with Jericho past Money in the Bank. </p><p> </p><p>

I signed Kurt Angle and toyed with the idea of having him debut immediately, siding with John Cena vs The Club, but, nah, that wouldn't be too fun. </p><p> </p><p>

Thought about bringing him in as the GM of Smackdown! when I do the draft, but, nah, that's too predictable. </p><p> </p><p>

I have nothing for Jericho and nothing for Angle.... *lightbulb!* </p><p> </p><p>

In a blatant ripoff, Chris Jericho comes out the night after Money in the Bank, claims he was cheated out of the briefcase and is just about finished with wrestling, because, after all, he IS the "Best in the World (at what he does)" so, he makes an open challenge to anyone in the back who wants to come out and try to prove that he's not what he says he is. </p><p> </p><p>

Enter, Roderick Strong, figured this was a good way to debut him, and it was, a great rated match out of the chute. </p><p> </p><p>

Now, I've got "Chris Jericho vs The Stupid Idiots of the World" every major show, hire a local for a night and Jericho gets a win, building one of the hottest storylines I have running right now (so far it's been D'Lo Brown, Spike Dudley, Rob Conway, Tatanka, Rikishi, Mr Kennedy at Battleground, Brian Kendrick & JTG) this will all continue until Summer Slam, where Kurt Angle will make his return, being the first to defeat Jericho, setting up a little feud, where eventually Jericho will go on to tour with Fozzy and Angle will go on to feud with a few younger stars, putting them over as he rides off into the Hall of Fame.</p>

<p>So here is the final result of the<strong> AWA: Lord Of The Ring IV</strong> PPV. Honestly didn't do that good and this is the worst PPV I've booked in December and the worst Lord Of Ring edition so far. However JT Southern has now won the tournament for a second straight year and will go on to face his friend-turned-foe JJ Southern (Jeff Jarrett) at the January PPV, Rage In The Cage. I will post the results of that PPV once I have done it. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Negatives about this PPV was the final match of course and also the World Title Match. Steve Austin is only at mid-card so I don't know why I put him in the title match anyway, wasn't feud related or anything just needed an opponent for him at the PPV. </p><p> </p><p>

Just finished Backlash (having only 2 weeks build-up is definitely something I'll have to get used to) and it didn't go too well.

Main Event was Dean Ambrose defending the title against Bray Wyatt since Orton decided he was a steroid user and I suspended him leaving Wyatt without a program for this PPV.

Cena and Styles finished their feud since I want AJ to be involved in the Title picture, Cena won their final match and was immediately attacked by High Society which consists of Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, Samoa Joe and Derrick Bateman (thought about changing his name before debuting him and might still do it since technically, they haven't announced their names yet).

Kevin Owens beat Shinsuke Nakamura using the ropes for leverage who debuted on the first week of September and Shane and Bryan made a big deal out of it which upset Owens since he thought his move to Smackdown would mean he would be the biggest thing there and is pissed for being outshadowed by this "newcomer".

Aiden English got involved in a program with Regal, and challenged Regal to a match, Regal responded by introducing the next-greatest British superstar in the business...Zack Sabre Jr. who picked up the win.

American Alpha defeated The Usos, Breezango and debuting Gargano&Ciampa and were attacked by a returning Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Plan is to have Wyats vs AA and Breezango vs Gargano&Ciampa.

Becky Lynch won a chance to challenge Alexa Bliss for the World Women's Championship but came up short. I think Nikki is going to be the next challenger and I'll rotate the challengers between Becky, Nikki and Bayley.

Dolph Ziggler won the title off Ryder because Ryder was bringing the prestige of the title down.

All in all, because I finished a lot of storylines after Summerslam, I'm failing the requirements and the show only scored a 69 C+ but I'll manage. I'll have to mess around with the PPV's to make sure I don't get caught off-guard with only 2 weeks build-up anymore.

<p>Royal Rumble 1995 is in the books. 97 rating making it my fifth best show of all time. Pillman and Savage could not top their match of the year. They scored a brilliant 96. I had Mike Tyson watching from the vip section, etc. Going to have HBO style videos of his training for the match with Austin. Don King is in to do some promoting. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm booking Raw at the minute. Austin will demand to know who was responsible for the attack that put him out of the Royal Rumble. He wanted to come back, but the doctor would not let him go due to the fact I take concussions seriously in 1995. Basically just killing time here until we get closer to Wrestlemania. Final angle of Raw, Austin comes out, you know the drill, bad mood, demanding answers. The Gambler claims to know something, he delays his answer and this leads to a stunner. Then we go to a video of Don King talking to..... Somebody. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Feels funny having Austin already established as a legend this early on. Almost has entry into hall of immortals. Feels right, though. He has been a big part of everything. Amazing tag teams matches to legendary wrestlemania main events. Yes, getting all those WWF words in. Unbelievable. Pillman was interviewed off the record and had nothing but praise for Hulk Hogan. He and Austin learned so much from their time in power. It gave them the credibility and they both reached these amazing heights because of it. Hogan leaving did give Pillman the opportunity of a life time and he has not failed. He is almost hall of immortal worthy as well. </p><p> </p><p>

Randy Savage was cutting a promo and was interrupted by Raven. Raven says Savage has run out of string. Savage is not amused, Raven counters with an offer to join the flock. No idea where I'm going with this. Just saw they were both free and hopefully they go well together. </p><p> </p><p>

Had a tag team title change on the first ep of Raw 1995. Adrenaline defeat Bates Motel. I'm thinking Adrenaline vs Dudes with Attitudes at Wrestlemania. Yes, Diesel is in. I abandoned that stable I was doing with Shawn. Triple H is still teaming with Edge. Razor and Triple got 90 at Royal Rumble. Triple suffered a minor injury. 3 days out. </p><p> </p><p>

Dibiase will try and plot against Al Snow. His botched interference will lead to Al Snow being pinned in the tag team title match. He will then say that Snow is holding Mankind back. In private discussions, of course. I will be able to sign the Undertaker soon. Yes, most times I've said these things, it has come back to bite me in the game. I don't believe in jinxing. Anyway, Undertaker returns and right into a feud with Mankind. My tag team division is not exactly at its peak, but there is more than enough. Time for another team to run the division. </p><p> </p><p>

Brian Pillman made sure to have the win loss record with Bret Hart put up on the big screen, all sorts of different fonts, angles and so on. He even got a ''as long as I'm around, you'll always be second best'' line in. Really not sure who is going to win. I'd favor Bret. </p><p> </p><p>

Next up for Frank Castle is Darkside. </p><p> </p><p>

Warrior and Scott Steiner had another confrontation. Warrior agrees to face Otis Apollo next episode of Raw. Steiner is the onscreen mentor of Otis. </p><p> </p><p>

RVD turned on 2 Cold Scorpio. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> 2 Dope did not get a title run. Just felt it had run its course and I suddenly wanted to try out heel RVD. Simple enough angle after a loss to Harlem Heat.</p><p> </p><p>

Going to have a few post Wrestlemania Raw debuts. They are in development right now. </p><p> </p><p>

Taz </p><p> </p><p>

Blasidell Desjardins (I think I will change his name). He is a 20 year regen. I posted his stats in the random screenshot section. I always have time for weird gimmicks. I have an idea for him. His charisma has went up 3 points in the space of a month. Good signs. </p><p> </p><p>

<p>1 month to Wrestlemania 12 and here is my planned card thus far:</p><p> </p><p>

Vader vs Shawn Michaels for the WWF Title: Vader has held the belt since June of 95 having reclaimed it from Undertaker at King of the Ring. He's basically the Brock Lesnar of 96 in my game and has a combined reign of 13 months with the belt. I've been grooming Shawn to turn face and take the belt for months now. Recently he's had a lengthy feud with Bret Hart since September which recently ended at the Royal Rumble, which he won giving him a shot against Vader at Mania. I've recently turned him face after months of teasing and after his recent feud with Mankind to guarantee his #1 contendership. Only thing is, Shawn is notoriously a pain in the ass backstage and I'm not sure I want him to take the belt from Vader so might have to have a heel walk out of Mania the champion.</p><p> </p><p>

Undertaker vs Kane: Basically the same exact 97/98 storyline only decided to have Kane debut much earlier. Kane cost Taker a win at Survivor Series against Vader in a Hell in a Cell and has since then been a dominant force having beat Diesel twice and attacked multiple members of the roster. Sadly his popularity has only reached 70 before the big show but hoping they can still pull off a decent enough match. Gonna have Taker go over on this one.</p><p> </p><p>

British Bulldog vs Bret Hart: Have had these two tag team on and off since 94, Bulldog was especially prominent in Bret's feud with Owen Hart from 94-95. Months back I had a heel Owen Hart attempt to win over a face Bulldog and convince him to become tag partners after a lengthy feud between the two. Bulldog struggled to believe Owen's sincerity considering his hatred of Bret but has since lightened up after Owen gained a huge win for his Survivor Series team. Owen's cockiness has since rubbed off on Davey and the two have become a team. Fast forward to January, Bulldog/Bret begin teaming again along with Owen and Bret accidentally costs Bulldog number one contendership, inadvertently steals his pins in tag matches and eliminates him from the Rumble. Bulldog snaps and turns heel on Bret through the encouragement from Owen. Think I'm gonna have Bulldog take the win on this, whether its tainted or not.</p><p> </p><p>

Ron Simmons vs Bam Bam Bigelow for the Intercontinental Title: Simmons has been the leader of The Nation for over a year now and has been IC champ since December of 1994 which surely makes him longest reigning IC champ in the WWF. Bam Bam has recently returned from rehab, has gotten more flabby and has undergone a monster push. Not sure if I want him to be the one to end Simmons record but I do want to get the belt off him quick as I want to plot The Nations demise and start a Ron Simmons/Tony Norris feud. Want Simmons to have a big Wrestlemania win so if anything I may have Bam Bam take the title the next night on RAW.</p><p> </p><p>

Mankind vs Terry Funk: Cactus Jack and Terry Funk were Tag Champs in my game for a solid 8 months until Commissioner Ted DiBiase plotted the two against each other. They had a 'friendly' Barbed Wire match at Summerslam 95 which led to Terry Funks 'injury'. Cactus blamed himself for Funks injury, lost the two tag belts to Shane Douglas and Jeff Jarrett and slowly turned crazy (into Mankind) Funk returned in February 96 saving Mankind from an attack from Vader and somehow got himself a title shot at In Your House: 11. Mankind botched interfered the match costing Funk the opportunity to take the belt. Funk has since turned heel on Mankind and hopes to prove he's the better man. Mankind will go over, Funk will leave and hopefully retire.</p><p> </p><p>

Los Guerreros vs The Radicals vs Rey Mysterio/Ultimo Dragon for WWF Tag Titles in a triple threat ladder match: Guerreros gained the belts in October from Douglas/Jarrett and have feuded with Radicals (Benoit/Malenko) and Rey/Dragon over the last few months. The feud will cultivate in this triple threat tag ladder match and they will retain.</p><p> </p><p>

Razor Ramon vs Diesel: A meta like storyline. Both these guys have been complaining for months and being dickheads in general backstage. I've decided to put the two on a losing streak and have them whine at each other in promos. Having Diesel throw temper tantrums and turn heel on Razor. Was originally going to make this a Loser Leaves Town match, have Razor go over and fire Diesel afterwards but my main event is thin and I need him around to help build the next big star.</p><p> </p><p>

Owen Hart vs Sycho Sid: Signed Sid to a short term contract as he's lately been assisting Bret Hart in the Bulldog/Owen feud. Owen's been teasing and mocking Sid for weeks. Not so much a filler match but just a way to properly introduce Sid back to WWF and get Owen on the card in some way. All odds point at Sid for the victory but I may just have Owen steal the win and continue the feud.</p><p> </p><p>

I also have Legion of Doom vs The Nation (Charles Wright and Tony Norris) on the pre show, as well as Marc Mero vs Shane Douglas. These two matches are respectively for Tag and Intercontinental title #1 contendership and have been brewing for months.</p><p> </p><p>

All is looking good but I hope to revamp WWF after WM 12. Recently signed Steve Austin from WCW and just gonna drop the 'Stunning' gimmick straight off the bat, no Ringmaster, no Million Dollar Belt. Will have him debut after Mania in his Stone Cold persona. Also hope to debut Goldust and Hunter Hearst Helmsley and push Brian Pillman when he returns from rehab.</p>

Just finished by my big monthly event, which happened to be number 300.

title holders and most recent defense (prestige of title, match rating)

APW World (100): Wade Orson retained against Marshall Dillon (98)

APW X-Division (100): Darryl Devine defeated DWN to claim the title for his first reign (82) - in a prior sim I had to fix an error on, this was 99, so 82 was disappointing.

APW All-American (100): Jack Avatar retained against Ernest Youngman (99)

APW World Tag Titles (100): Henry Bennett and JOJI defended the titles against Mimic and Davie Renuluenn (76) in a filler match to bring the crowd down.

APW Japan Sprit of the Warrior's Heart (100) Takayuki 2000 defeated Akinori Kwakami to claim the title (79)

APW Japan Blood Brothers (80): Bryan Holmes and Findlay O'Farraday defeated Zeshin and Makioka for their first run with the gold (76)

APW Rip Chord Invitational (100): Roderick Remus defeated David Stone in the finals of a 64 man event (99)

APW Keith Classic (98): Henry Bennett and JOJI def. the MAW elite (Deuce and David) to win this and the inaugural tag titles (66). One month away from the next run at this title.

Streaming (60): This is at present an unofficial midcard title recently launched by Jacob Jett given several top performances he has given. To win a title shot you must first beat his tag partner Hell's Bouncer. Last defended against Garry the Entertainer (75)

------------------------------------------------

Other notable matches from the event (96 overall).

The recently acquired Casey Valentine is still feuding with Roderick Remus and won (93) with some interference from DWN as Remus was in line for an X division title shot. Remus got revenge, costing DWN the title later the same night.

Ross Henry defeated Brutus Milano, George Wolfe and Bernard Gauthier (77) in the opener

Hawkeye Calhoun and American Flash defeated Edmond Roy, Cobra and Bayley Morin (77). American flash are the only big name people here, so pleasantly surprised.

I finally discovered an excellent use for post show matches and will use it going forward.

------------------------------------

Several recent acquisitions

Brutus Milano (an original, gone for a few years)

Masa Kurata

Primus Allen (yet to debut)

Mr. Lucha III (yet to debut)

Deadly Deadshot

and a number of undercard newbs.

----------------------------------------

Since I bailed out UEW, they have been making a profit and look safe, the other feds are back in the red, joined but by DIW

I imported the 97 CVerse stations as suggested in this thread. Got on TV with Synergy and have increased my rating from 0.06 to 0.19 in a month.

I was looking at the stations, from testing, it appears 'must cover home' means the actual region, not the game area/country. Wondering if this is intentional for stations this small, I'd like to expand to smaller stations in uncovered regions of my home area as able, but it does not appear possible. Also wondering if making them part of the same media group would do the trick while still keeping foreign feds out.

Lots of bookers have recently been let go of. USPW is now owned and booked by Ricky Dale Johnson

Just crossed the $2 million mark, but the march to cult has been greatly slowed by a poor economy. GL is 66, tri state 43

Due to the TV deal, I have repackaged the mid month madness event as a second Japan even and moved it from week to week 1 so I'll be in Japan every other week now. This does leave my second brand without an event, but I regularly pull them onto the end of month one In total, I'm up to 15 shows/month now.

I now have a second eligible entrant into my HOF. It's been saying JOJI for some time. Now, as a tag team JOJI and Henry Bennett following run #2 with the tag titles. Sad that Holmes still isn't eligible as he was my first and 3rd world champ and now holds the Japan tag titles. I guess my promotion was two small for those first to reigns to count. (and yes, I know I can manually add anyone, just sad he's not qualified in the game's eyes)

I have resigned Funakoshi for 35 consecutive days since a glitch sends him to WLW if I don't. This better prove worth it.

My refs continue to climb at 99, 82 and 72

Bought the GSW King of California title for sentimental reasons, planning to bring in some GSW alumni and current CZCW and IPW workers on 1/2 appearance contracts to fill out the tournament. Also have a TV show on the CVerse 97 northwest region broadcaster, hoping I don't go bankrupt running 5 events without writtens, but I signed the shortest possible deal, went more long term for events.

Also started a war with Mark Smart's IWC, so far none of my dirty tricks have worked but I want to stop them from rising to Cult.

Gave TCW a development fed but they haven't been using it for that. I started it off as child company and they filled their own roster, so maybe no room for developmentals.

Considering upping new workers and injuries to the top level.

I just struck gold.

Something ain't right with that mod if Kyle O'Reilly is the weak link in that match. Anyhoo...

Jim: Fans, it's getting to be that time of year again. The temperatures are starting to warm up, and so is the tag team action here at World Championship Wrestling.

Paul: That's right, Jim, the event formerly known as the Jim Crockett Memorial Cup, rechristened by the higher-ups at Turner Broadcasting as The World Tag Summit, is fast approaching.

Jim: Tonight we're going to have a look back at the past two years of tag team competition.

Jim Crockett Cup 1987 Opening Round

The Super Powers(Dusty Rhodes and Nikita Koloff vs The Jive Tones(Tiger Conway, Jr. and Pistol Pez Whately) - The combined powers of The American Dream and The Russian Nightmare made short work of, well, let's be honest, what you would call a preliminary match team.

Paul: They got beat so bad, both of them were out of the company within a month.

Barry Windham and Kendall Windham vs The Thunderfoots - Now, The Thunderfoots are considered by many fans as an opening match act. In actuality, The Thunderfoots were quite successful in other NWA Affiliates in Florida and the Appalachias. That just goes to show the high level of competition here in WCW.

Paul: Sure they may be hot stuff in the Florida bingo hall circuit, but here in the big leagues, they didn't last 5 minutes against the brothers Barry and Kendall

The Midnight Express(Beautiful Bobby Eaton and Stunning Stan Lane) vs Jim and Randy Mulkey - Folks, if I were a betting man, The Midnight Express is the team I would've put my money down on to win the whole tournament. Out of all the teams in the tournament, they have the most experience both as a team, but as a team at high levels of competition.

Paul: What about The Mulkey Brothers?

Jim: Well, what about them?

Lex Luger and Tully Blanchard vs The New Breed(Chris Champion and Sean Royal) - In this match we saw Lex Luger, who was at the time a new member of the Four Horsemen teaming with one of the founders of the Horsemen against one of the more... unorthodox teams in WCW.

Paul: Y'know, I asked Chris Champion if he could bring me back a sports almanac from 2002. Just, y'know, out of curiosity. The jerk won't return my calls since.

The Rock 'N Roll Express(Ricky Morton and Bobby Gibson) vs The Powers of Pain(The Barbarian and The Warlord) - If you'd asked the average fan back in 1987, they would have picked the Rock 'N Roll Express to win the tournament, as they were the NWA World Tag Team Champions at the time. Even though they lost later on in the tournament, they actually managed to hang on to the World Tag Team Title until the end of the year.

Paul: As for the Powers of Pain, Paul Jones had big, big hopes for these two. Expected 'em to conquer the world! But they just couldn't pull it together as a team.

The Awesome Twosome(Manny Fernandez and Rick Rude) vs Rick Steiner and Sting - The Awesome Twosome came into this tournament with something to prove, having just lost the NWA World Tag Team Titles just a few weeks before to the Rock 'N Roll Express. Rick Steiner and Sting made their debuts at this event. Talent scouts found them as a team working in the midwest. They went their separate ways after losing in the Jim Crockett Cup, as everyone knows.

Paul: Hey, whatever happened to Rick Rude?

Jim: I don't think we're allowed to discuss that on the air.

The Sheepherders(Butch and Luke) vs Jimmy Valiant and The Lazertron - The Sheepherders were in import all the way from New Zealand, making their debuts, and a strong debut at that, against the veteran Jimmy Valiant and the then-NWA Jr Heavyweight Champion The Lazertron.

Paul: I'm disappointed at whoever booked this tournament. You mean they couldn't find another full-fledged tag team, and they had to fill a bracket with a pair of singles wrestlers thrown together? Shame on them.

Ronnie and Jimmy Garvin vs The MOD Squad(Spike and Basher) - This match was almost thrown out by the referee when Ric Flair came down to ringside to harass Precious. Order was restored and The Sharp Dressed Man Jimmy Garvin got the win.

Quater Final Round

The Midnight Express vs The Garvins - An exiting match between four talented professionals. The Midnight Express pick up the win thanks to the intervention of their manager James E. Cornette.

Paul: I'd say what I think about Jim Cornette, but then they'd never air this segment.

The Windhams vs The Awesome Twosome - Young Kendall really showed his inexperience in this match, against the more savy, and let's be honest, underhanded tactics of the Awesome Twosome, but Barry more than made up for it, and the Windhams move on to the semi-finals

The Superpowers vs The Sheepherders - This was a wild, bloody brawl, and on any other show would've been the match of the night, with Nikita Koloff getting the win with The Russian Sickle!

Paul: It took two weeks to clean the stains from the mat!

Lex Luger and Tully Blanchard vs The Rock and Roll Express - An absolute classic match, all four men giving their all, but the experience and slick teamwork of Ricky Morton and Bobby Gibson were no match for the strength of Lex Luger and the cunning of Tully Blanchard.

Paul - Though if they were smart, they would've used this to get a shot at the Tag Titles. If they were smart.

Semi-Final Round

Lex Luger and Tully Blanchard vs The Windhams - Once again, Kendall is the weak link in the team. This match saw Luger and Blanchard focus and isolate the young athlete, and he quickly tapped out to the Torture Rack.

Paul: I guess this proved who's the favorite in the Windham family, huh?

The Super Powers vs The Midnight Express - This was a short match as Jim Cornette got a little.. let's call it 'ambitious', in his trying to help his clients and got the Midnight Express disqualified.

Paul: Good.

Finals

The Super Powers vs. Lex Luger and Tully Blanchard - Folks, lemme tell ya, fans were hanging off the rafters in the Baltimore Arena for this one. This one had it all. It almost went to a time-limit draw. The Super Powers had the deck stacked against them with James J. Dillion and Arn Anderson at ringside. But for all Luger's power and all of Blanchards, well, cheating-

Paul: You say 'cheating', I say 'experience and cunning'.

Jim: Well, in any case, the The Dream and The Nightmare persevered, with Dusty handing out Bionic Elbows like Easter candy. As most fans know, this match was just one battle in the war between The Super Powers and The Horsemen, a war that wouldn't come to its conclusion until that July at the Great American Bash.

Paul: Featuring WAR GAMES! Now available on home video!

Jim: Now, if you weren't following WCW at the time, and you're watching this, you might be wondering why The Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal, weren't a part of this tournament. That's because Road Warrior Animal actually suffered a severe head injury the month prior to the tournament, and was out of action for about a year.

Paul: A head injury? You mean to tell me their skulls aren't made of titanium?

Jim: Tough as they may be, they're still just flesh and bone. The Road Warriors would make their triumphant return at next year's tournament, and when we come back from the break, we'll run down all the action from the 1988 Jim Crockett Memorial Cup.

Coming up on one year in my Montreal Aftermath game, and the current Survivor Series '98 card is looking like this:

Pre-show: CIMA, Taka Michinoku, Yoshiri Tajiri & Great Sasuke vs The Dudleyz, Al Snow & Christopher Daniels

--A lot of my Lightheavyweight division is from Japan, but I didn't really want to have a 'Japanese' team on the main show as I don't want them grouped together onscreen, I'd rather they were their own characters, it just happens that after booking the main show, most of my remaining faces were the Japanese guys from that division. The Dudleyz are coming out of a feud with Edge & Christian and don't have much direction, Al Snow & Christopher Daniels are starting an angle where Daniels uses a manipulative preacher character to control Snow, whose susceptibility has been made clear with his obsession with Head.

Triple H, Billy Gunn, Edge & Christian vs Owen Hart, Sid Vicious, Big Bossman & Ahmed Johnson

--This was, obviously, originally intended to be DX vs Team Hart but X-Pac & Road Dogg both got popped for drugs three times so are off in rehab. I gave them a lot more leniency than most guys because I knew I wanted them for this show but in the end I had to make the sacrifice. Hasn't really affected Triple H, who is coming off a feud with The Rock and Mankind for the IC title over the summer and has a ready made feud with Owen, but Billy Gunn has been treading water for the last month so Survivor Series is coming at a good time for him. Edge & Christian fit fairly well with the DX vibe so they are loosely aligned with them for now. Owen Hart returned after Breakdown in September after I gave him a six month holiday because HBK was turning everyone against him, so I cut my losses until HBK was gone in the hopes that the Simmering Tensions would fade with time, and Owen won the IC title from Triple H at Judgement Day in October, and for Survivor Series has hired the biggest team he could assemble as protection. Vicious was HBK's enforcer after Rick Rude left but was kicked out of DX when Triple H took over so has history with them, as does Johnson. Bossman is a fairly new addition but his gimmick works quite well against DX's and is the sort of gimmick that would be 'for hire'.

Rodney Anoai (Yokozuna), Rikishi Fatu, Ekmo Fatu (Umaga) & Kimo Anoai (Rosey) vs Godfather, Animal, Steve Blackman & Sgt Slaughter

--Yokozuna returned as part of The Rock's Nation (and agreed to slim down), and when the Nation splintered, he turned against Godfather so this is slightly reigniting that ember now that Yoko under his real name has formed a new group of Samoans. The rest of Godfather's team are a rag-tag bunch that needed a place on the card. The other three Samoans all debuted after Judgement Day, and at some point will collide/work with The Rock.

Undertaker, Kane, Goldust & William Regal vs Mankind, Faarooq, Bradshaw & Brian Lee

--Undertaker and Kane battled Austin for the title over the summer, with both brothers holding the belt (Austin -> Kane -> Taker -> Austin). After Austin retained the title against Taker in an Ironman match at Judgement Day, Kane helped Taker destroy JR, King, Hebner and anyone else at ringside, and was the start of their hostile takeover of WWF. Bradshaw & Brian Lee (for whom I need a better name, he was working as Bulldozer but I'm not a fan of it) have good tag chemistry so I'm going to make them the Acolytes in this timeline instead of Faarooq, who is coming towards retirement. Goldust has had a loose affiliation with Bearer for months now so will be drawn into the Ministry as well, but not Regal. Mankind has a long history with Taker/Kane/Bearer but is a lazy addition here because he didn't have anything else to do on the card because he's part of the Austin/Rock feud.

Ken Shamrock, Vader, Mike Barton & Bob Holly vs Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett, Marc Mero & Barry Windham

--Angle debuted almost immediately after he entered the business and is the current European champion. He has been feuding with Shamrock, who brought in Vader to take on Angle as he recovered from injury. Angle beat Vader clean at Judgement Day, and will win the Survivor Series match and beat Shamrock at Armageddon. Barton & Holly have been working as a serious, no-nonsense tag team instead of Bodacious & Bombastic, and are feuding with Jarrett/Mero for the Tag titles. Jarrett, Mero, Windham & Brian Christopher formed Memphis Wrestling a few months ago but Windham & Christopher got popped for drugs. Windham will be back for this match but not Brian. Their 'wrestling purity' schtick works nicely with Angle so this has all come together nicely.

Steve Austin vs The Rock

--After losing the IC title in a feud with Triple H and Mankind, The Rock has come out of it fairly strong and has been handpicked by McMahon as the man to dethrone Austin. Mankind will get involved in this one to stop McMahon costing Austin the match. At Armageddon, Austin will lose to The Rock, and Mankind will beat McMahon to earn a title shot. Mankind will beat The Rock on the first Raw of '99 as he did in real life because I love that moment, and The Rock will take it back from him at the Rumble. I'm going to have McMahon ban Austin from the Rumble because he's already due a rematch for the title, so I'll have to think about who wins that. Possibly Triple H who will be due a heel turn by then. Austin will take the title back at No Way Out (a lot of Attitude Era style belt-hopping, I know), and retain at Wrestlemania against whoever it is that wins the Rumble.

If they were smart.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Semi-Final Round</strong></p><p> <strong>Lex Luger and Tully Blanchard vs The Windhams</strong> - Once again, Kendall is the weak link in the team. <p>For those of you who may have started following my AWA save after my last update regarding my December PPV, Lord Of The Rings I have a new update! Just booked my January PPV, Rage In The Cage IV and it went well! </p><p> </p><p>

Here are the results! <a href="https://gyazo.com/f2973bf2d27631a427aef14bf324a44a" rel="external nofollow">https://gyazo.com/f2973bf2d27631a427aef14bf324a44a</a></p><p> </p><p>

The feud between the Southern Playboys reached it's boiling point, therefore JJ Southern challenged his former tag team partner JT to a Southern rules cage match after JT Southern won the Lord Of The Rings ppv thus earning a shot at the world title. The idea being that the only way to win in this match is to knock your opponent out cold inside the ring in which JJ Southern successfully done and retained his title. My star wrestler and figurehead, The Diamond Studd now has his eyes back on the world title. Plan for the main event at the Feb PPV (Battle By The Bay) will be The Diamond Studd, DDP and JT Southern vs. JJ Southern, Sid Vicious and The Enforcer (Kevin Nash under a mask, just a one night appearance) Then at the march PPV I plan on having The Diamond Studd win the 40-man battle royal to earn a title shot at the May PPV, SuperClash 6 which is the best stage to have the title match against my top face (The Diamond Studd) & my top heel (JJ Southern/Jeff Jarrett) This will then end the feud and place The Diamond Studd against the Puerto Rican Connection which I will explain more as I get to that feud <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />.</p><p> </p><p>

The Warrior captured the belt against Tracy Smothers but the rivalry isn't over yet. Tracy Smothers and his tag team partner, Paul Diamond have been having trouble as a team as of late after Smothers won the AWA International Television belt in a championship scramble match which also involved Paul Diamond, Diamond is jealous of his tag team partner as Diamond has been chasing that belt for two years now! This match was inside a cage match of course to fit the PPV but the re-match at Battle At The Bay will see Diamond botch an interference and attack Smothers on accident, allowing The Warrior to pick up the victory! This will help set-up the eventual break-up of the Orient Express tag team and start a feud between Tracy Smothers and Paul Diamond whilst I find a new challenger to take on The Warrior for his title belt.</p><p> </p><p>

The last time the Top Guns had the World Tag Team belts was a few years ago and the run as champions didn't last long due to Ricky Rice getting injured. The team struggled to get the momentum back but as soon as the 90s hit they seemed like there old self and managed to capture the belts from Buddy Rose and Doug Somers. The Nasty Boys however was also now making noise in the tag team division and defeated The Patriots to earn a title shot, which they unfortunately lost. The Top Guns refused to allow them a re-match so the Nasty Boys took things into there own hands and put them through some tables to force them to give them another match. The duo finally gave in and said that if both workers could beat them in singles action they would allow them to have a title shot at Rage In The Cage. The duo was successful and that meant they would now be locked into a cage with the tag team champions which fitted nicely with the 'nasty nature' of the Nasty Boys as they both picked up there first tag team championship in the AWA. Things are far from over however as The Top Guns will challenge them again soon, can the duo take back those tag team belts?</p><p> </p><p>

Brian Pillman finally ended his long two year rivalry with Shawn Michaels a few months back to win the Light Heavyweight championship for the 7th time in his career. Lord Steven Regal then won a battle royal to become the new #1 contender for the Light Heavyweight championship. Steven Regal wrestled a spectacular match with Pillman and really looked like he would win the belt for 4th time in his career, however Regal would knock Pillman out with his brass knuckles which the ref caught and therefore threw the match out, earning Pillman a DQ victory. Regal would then find himself struggling to get close to the champion due to other fellow Hollywood Blond members, Hollywood Holly and Steve Austin, Regal challenged all three men to a match at Rage In The Cage and said he would find two other men who hate the Hollywood Blonds as much as he does to aid him in the match. These men was Buddy Rose who has had numerous run-ins with Steve Austin and HBK who of course has just finished a long rivalry with Pillman & Hollywood Holly. This feud isn't over yet as Pillman and Regal will have a non title match at the next PPV and if Regal wins (which he will) he gets not only another shot at the belt but also gets to pick the match stipulation, the match however won't take place until May at SuperClash 6.</p>

<p>Wrestlemania 11 is not yet in the books, but it is one long ass show. Over 4 hours. :/ It couldn't be helped. No long ego Stephanie in Spartacus mode promos before the main event. Phew. haha just thinking back to that, I was so tired and burnt out by that time, Stephanie was kind of trippy. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Some things before the show. Diesel and Shawn chemistry is all over the place. Fortunately, there was enough time to change my plans. Shawn and Kid team up to face Adrenaline for the tag team titles instead.</p><p> </p><p>

Wrestlemania 11 will be the formation of the Kliq. Earlier on in the show, Triple H defeats Razor to win the Intercontinental title.</p><p> </p><p>

During the tag team title match.( a ladder match. Kind of glad Diesel and Shawn have no tag chemistry now) Triple H runs out, but Razor comes out too. They end up both attacking Adrenaline and Bagwell is thrown from the ladder just as he is about to grab the belts. After the match, we get a Kliq promo. Going to be interesting booking them all together. Haven't done this before. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Edge has been kicked to the curb. I'm not going to turn him face.</p><p> </p><p>

Bret Hart will defeat Brian Pillman to begin his second reign as WWF champion. Finally got the win over Pillman. Nice old fashioned Wrestlemania happy ending. Awww Razor Ramon will be the first challenger.</p><p> </p><p>

The real end to the show is Stone Cold Steve Austin defeating Mike Tyson. This has the potential to be my worst rated Wrestlemania main event yet, but they both have the popularity and Tyson stats have been increased a bit. His losing effort will be praised and there is potential for a future match. Austin gives Don King a stunner after the match. </p><p> </p><p>

Tyson will give a refreshing off the record interview with Melzter after the event. </p><p> </p><p>

Frank Castle faces the Undertaker. This will be Undertaker first match back. He is only annoyed at the minute. Castle won a match on Raw, lights started flickering and then they went off completely, they come back on ant it's the Undertaker. Castle is not intimidated at all. Undertaker seems to be impressed by this because after their Wrestlemania match he will offer his hand. Big mistake. Castle will defeat The Undertaker. Just not at Wrestlemania. </p><p> </p><p>

The Hardy Boys defeat Bates Motel in the opener. Biggest win yet for the Hardyz. What a fall from grace for the former tag team champions, once again, Dibiase with botched/intentional interference on Al Snow. After the match, Mankind puts Al in the mandible claw and then puts Dibiase in it. Time for Mankind to begin his singles run. He doesn't need Dibiase. </p><p> </p><p>

Scott Steiner will defeat the Ultimate Warrior. Steiner popularity is already in the high 80s due to many segments, push up contests, beach freaks, etc. Steiner needs this. He is going to be a player here. </p><p> </p><p>

Owen Hart has turned face. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> He has been a heel his whole run with me and it was time for a change. The Hart Brothers have already had their feud, they have wrestled at Mania, etc. </p><p> </p><p>

Owen came out to assist Bret after a sneak attack from Pillman and Mr. Perfect. Big hugs. ''This is magic'' Mr. Perfect is still hanging around and I'm happy for it. He and Owen should deliver ratings at Wrestlemania. </p><p> </p><p>

Rob Van Dam will win a fatal four way to become Junior heavyweight champion. Helms, Mysterio Jr and Dean Malenko This belt has been passed around a bit recently, RVD will put an end to that.</p><p> </p><p>

Randy Savage and Too Cool defeat Raven's Flock (Raven, Kidman and Black Dragon) Raven and Savage will continue after this , it will all continue after this. Savage is kind of playing a mentor for Too Cool.</p><p> </p><p>

That regen I was talking about in my previous post. He will have a pre show match against a local. I've named him Neo. He does not have a Keanu Reeves photo and it will have nothing to do with the Matrix. I just like the name. I have given him a mysterious (weird) gimmick. Was considering a vampire role. Glad I talked myself out of it. </p><p> </p><p>

I've made me pre show last one hour. haha Awk well, it is Wrestlemania. Pre Show battle royal won by Booker T. This makes him number one contender to the ic title. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm not considering in your house ppvs yet, although I might start increasing due to being in 1995. I'm just happy at the flow of the game the way it is. Maybe I wont do extra ppvs.</p>

Glad I talked myself out of it. </p><p> </p><p> I've made me pre show last one hour. haha Awk well, it is Wrestlemania. Pre Show battle royal won by Booker T. This makes him number one contender to the ic title. </p><p> </p><p> I'm not considering in your house ppvs yet, although I might start increasing due to being in 1995. I'm just happy at the flow of the game the way it is. Maybe I wont do extra ppvs.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I've been following your save updates for awhile now and I just want to say it's really interesting, always looking forward to the next update! I've got Pillman up to main event in my AWA save and really want to make him a world champion but he isn't willing to move up a weight class to Middleweight atm and I don't want to lower the weight restrictions to any lower either just to keep with the 'you need to be big to be a champion' ordeal from the 90s of wrestling <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Great to see his been a world champion on your WWF save. And I can imagine this Frank Castle gimmick, it would be awesome:D Question though; Is Castle a face or heel? I imagine he'd be pushed sort as a 'tweener' though due to the whole anti-hero thing lol</p>
