What's going on in your game?

<p>Into March 1999 on my C-Verse '97 game with HGC (renamed to TCW) and I'm a behemoth. Such a stacked roster that even with two brands, I have more than enough world class talent to fill every card. Current champions:</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>TCW World Heavyweight:</strong> Vengeance [16 months]</p><p>

- Both brands</p><p>

- Vengeance has become an incredible worker, thanks in part to mixing it up with a broad variety of veterans. He got two A* matches in 1998, vs Rip Chord and vs Nemesis. He is A* globally, so obviously the biggest star in the world. He has only lost 3 matches since the start of the game, one triple threat vs Liberty and Jack Bruce where he wasn't pinned, and two eight-man tags, neither of which he suffered the fall. He has won 104 matches.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><strong>Previous Champions:</strong></p><p>

Rip Chord [Feb Wk1 1997 to May Wk4 1997]</p><p>

Sam Strong [May Wk4 1997 to Nov Wk4 1997]</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>TCW International:</strong> Liberty [x2 / 1 month]</p><p>

- Total Brand</p><p>

- One of my biggest names, on the shortlist to dethrone Vengeance. He has improved his performance skills a great deal and can hang with the best. He had programmes against Rip Chord, Sam Strong and Dread so has some strong pedigree. He and Jack Bruce helped make each other stars.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><strong>Previous Champions:</strong></p><p>

Puerto Rican Power [Oct Wk3 1998 to Feb Wk3 1999]</p><p>

Jack Bruce [May Wk4 1998 to Oct Wk3 1998]</p><p>

Rip Chord [Mar Wk4 1998 to May Wk4 1998]</p><p>

Jack Bruce [Jun Wk4 1997 to Mar Wk4 1998]</p><p>

Liberty [Jan Wk4 1997 to Jun Wk4 1997]</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>TCW United States:</strong> Brent Hill [7 months]</p><p>

- Showcase Brand</p><p>

- A title that I created along with the brand split to sit at the top of the Showcase brand when the World Champion was on Total. Brent Hill was the first champion and his current gimmick is being the only United States Champion in TCW history. He's owning it right now, although the level of his opponents has varied due to big stars being embroiled in blood feuds instead. He will keep the belt for a while longer, I am toying with him breaking Vengeance's record for holding a title but that depends on how long Vengeance goes with the World title.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><strong>Previous Champions:</strong></p><p>

N/A</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>TCW Junior Heavyweight:</strong> Sean McFly [2 months]</p><p>

- Total Brand</p><p>

- The title has moved ahead of the International title on the Total brand by prestige but in the 'official' rankings (in my head) it is below International. It is a great division to book, and has been largely centred around the Stones for the last 8 months. That will come to an end at the March PPV, where McFly will retain against Jeremy, Dan Jr and Duane.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><strong>Previous Champions:</strong></p><p>

Jeremy Stone [Jul Wk4 1998 to Jan Wk1 1999]</p><p>

Steve Flash [Feb Wk3 1998 to Jul Wk4 1998]</p><p>

Brent Hill [Jun Wk4 1997 to Feb Wk3 1998]</p><p>

Mr Lucha [Jan Wk4 1997 to Jun Wk4 1997]</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>TCW All Action:</strong> R.K. Hayes [3 months]</p><p>

- Showcase Brand</p><p>

- Freddie Datsun made himself and this title, which was very highly regarded before Hayes took the title in a shock vs Steve DeColt, who was screwed by Jack DeColt. He is continuing to damage the prestige as he rolls through my undercard, as I build his popularity in the US. He will hold onto the title until he's rebuilt the prestige a little. Vengeance has been on the same brand with the World title until the last couple of weeks. Now he's gone, Hayes needs to step up.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><strong>Previous Champions:</strong></p><p>

Steve DeColt [Oct Wk3 1998 to Dec Wk2 1998]</p><p>

Runaway Train [Jun Wk3 1998 to 1998 to Oct Wk3 1998]</p><p>

Johnny Martin [Feb Wk1 1998 to Jun Wk3 1998]</p><p>

Puerto Rican Power [sep Wk4 1997 to Feb Wk1 1998]</p><p>

Freddie Datsun [May Wk2 1997 to Sep Wk4 1997]</p><p>

Charlie Homicide [Jan Wk4 1997 to May Wk2 1997]</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>TCW Total Tag Team:</strong> El Bandido & Elliot (Bryan) Holmes [3 months]</p><p>

- Total Brand</p><p>

- The International Express (Bandido & Holmes) were the first team I discovered with great tag team chemistry in this game and are now A* in Experience. They aren't quite on the top level for popularity but they can be serviceable against Main Eventers. Holmes changed his name because originally I had Bryan Vessey. They were perennial challengers for a while until I decided to give them a chance with the belts. It was supposed to be transitional but they've already gone two months longer than the plan and are doing well. They will probably drop to Bruce the Giant and Tommy Cornell soon, unless I go with Bruce the Giant as the man to dethrone Vengeance. I would like to stop bouncing the titles around from team to team. I didn't plan to have Tyler & Martin drop them for a while but I sent Eric Tyler to rehab and since then have used them as a prop in storylines.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><strong>Previous Champions:</strong></p><p>

Mr Lucha & Whippy the Clown [Oct Wk3 1998 to Dec Wk3 1998]</p><p>

Dan Stone Jr. & Duane Stone [Aug Wk3 1998 to Oct Wk3 1998]</p><p>

Rich Money & Ricky Dale Johnson [Apr Wk3 1998 to Aug Wk3 1998]</p><p>

Joel Bryant & Robert Oxford [Feb Wk4 1998 to Apr Wk3 1998]</p><p>

Alex DeColt & Jack DeColt [Oct Wk3 1997 to Feb Wk4 1998]</p><p>

Duane Stone & Steve DeColt [sep Wk4 1997 to Oct Wk3 1997]</p><p>

Eric Tyler & Johnny Martin [May Wk4 1997 to Sep Wk4 1997]</p><p>

Larry Vessey & Bryan Vessey [Jan Wk4 1997 to May Wk4 1997]</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>TCW Showcase Tag Team:</strong> Joel Bryant & Robert Oxford [4 months]</p><p>

- Showcase Brand</p><p>

- A fantastically reliable team, who have held both sets of belts. They are currently dominating the Showcase tag team scene. I have a lot of fresh teams ready to come up after Total Mayhem (New Wave, Savage Fury, Nation of Filth, Peak Brothers, and beyond that in the future The Fly Boys, McWade Brothers, Flex & Pecs, as well as some self-created teams) so they will hold off all challengers until then and help train the new teams that join their brand. Chances are they will drop the belts towards the end of the year then switch brands to train the new teams that end up on Total.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><strong>Previous Champions:</strong></p><p>

Alex DeColt & Jack DeColt [sep Wk4 1998 to Nov Wk4 1998]</p><p>

Eric Tyler & Johnny Martin [sep Wk2 1998 to Sep Wk4 1998]</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Current Feuds:</strong></p><p>

Vengeance vs Freddie Datsun</p><p>

- There is a chance Datsun dethrones Vengeance. He has been a workhorse since the start of the game but has kicked into another gear since turning heel. Unfortunately for him I want to turn Vengeance heel again and have a face take the title so I'm leaning heavily against him but not ruling it out until I come to booking the next PPV.</p><p> </p><p>

Sam Strong vs Jack Bruce</p><p>

- Strong had been heel before taking a three month hiatus but has returned as a face on a nostalgia run. Jack Bruce has turned heel (not that he was happy about it) and will 'kill' Strongamania at Total Mayhem in May. I will probably give Strong a retirement match at Total Mayhem 2000 before forcing retirement on him. I haven't even started thinking who is getting that honour yet but it will be a youngster rather than a final match vs Rip Chord or similar.</p><p> </p><p>

Liberty vs Puerto Rican Power</p><p>

- Feuding over the International title. PRP originally took issue with Liberty being given everything because he's an All-American poster boy so there has been an 'international' edge to this, despite it really being USA vs Puerto Rico. PRP has taken the role of representing anti-America. They have both improved a lot since the start of the game so they are pulling ratings but Liberty is winning out at Total Mayhem because he is a cornerstone that I have put a lot of time into. PRP will be okay, he'll bounce back. He might dethrone Brent Hill for United States title if he sticks with this gimmick.</p><p> </p><p>

Christian Faith vs Mr. Hollywood (Mr Supreme)</p><p>

- Faith made an instant impact when he joined TCW, and took out Giedroyc and his sinister group (Darkness Warriors and Larry Wood). After disposing of them, Mr. Hollywood ('re'-)debuted (fresh from getting clean in rehab) as the 'true' hero that TCW needs. A fairly cookie-cutter feud but gives both a high profile feud for Total Mayhem.</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky Dale Johnson vs Rich Money</p><p>

- Former tag team partners that came up together from the start of the game until Money betrayed RDJ for (obviously) money. Both wanted to challenge Vengeance but screwed each other out of it then lost a triple threat. Since then they have been feuding back and forth. I want to stretch it out to Total Mayhem so Money will hire goons to 'injure' RDJ. My only issue is that sets up RDJ's redemption and I want Money to go over. I might have to suck it up and recover Money's position afterwards, he's more talented anyway. RDJ hasn't developed all that well but is very over.</p><p> </p><p>

Rip Chord vs Angry Gilmore</p><p>

- Tom Gilmore snapped from his nice-guy, baby-kissing, hand-shaking rookie persona that I gave him to become Angry Gilmore after Rip lost a #1 Contender tag match for them. Since then, Gilmore has promised to retire Chord and will do so at Total Mayhem. Until then, Rip is on a retirement tour (unofficially), with Gilmore ruining his matches and sneak attacking/cheapshotting him. One on one he has so far deliberately got counted out and disqualified. Next step is a rage DQ. If Rip is up to it, I want to end it with an Ironman match but that's probably unlikely so will go Last Man Standing.</p><p> </p><p>

Those are the headline feuds but also got the Stones imploding on one brand and the DeColts on the other, as well as tag team feuds and Brent Hill's solo story of being the only US Champion (currently feuding with Johnny Martin).</p><p> </p><p>

So much talent, so little time!</p>

<p>Road to Glory game I just started (super-small, no money). Owner goal is to not go in the red. Cool.</p><p> </p><p>

<a href="https://s1275.photobucket.com/user/Eidenhoek/media/why%20game_zpswgo50v6c.png.html" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="why%20game_zpswgo50v6c.png" data-src="https://oi1275.photobucket.com/albums/y443/Eidenhoek/why%20game_zpswgo50v6c.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a></p><p> </p><p>

So um. As some of you may know from my super-short 2010 diary of my legendarily-ridiculous NOTBPW save, I really, <em>really</em> like Bryan Holmes. He's a class-act, super-steady hand, the guy went up and down the card with no complaints, ton of great matches, probably second to Steve DeColt in terms of importance to the company.</p><p> </p><p>

So here I am, I got $1,000 in the bank. Critical goal not to go red.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>And he accepted.</em></p><p> </p><p>

ffffffffff</p>

Because the second I saw it, I had to do it. That's right folks the match we've all waited for... Kevin Sulivan vs. Jac.... I mean Punk vs. AJ.

I'm also got something special in mind for Liger, I just hope this contract signs before Sunday, and he doesn't show up at an MLW taping instead  I offered him ever dime Khan would let me.

Card is now set, Full House is a go-go

Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley for the Elite title

The Bucks vs. The Motor City Machine Guns for the Elite Tag Titles

CM Punk vs. April Brooks in a career or #impregnationvacation match

Yuka Sakazaki vs. Mercedes Martinez

Allie vs. Ashley

Jay Lethal vs. Jushin Liger

Ace Romero vs. Cody in a Texas Death Match

The All-Air Express(AR Fox and PAC) vs. The Lucha Bros.

MKV vs. Madison Eagles

I think I've outdone myself here.

Someone did no-show and it was PAC.. I forgot he just signed with somebody who ran on Sunday and prefers them to me. So I'm not sure I can keep PAC now going forward. Because I can't sign him because he's got deals with people I have working agreements with...

But Pillman had a better match than Jay Lethal... I didn't even notice how good he's getting. April "was off her game" but I'm fine with the match grade this was more about setting up the Storm vs. Punk feud in a fun way that would make people have an aneurysm, and give April a fun push so she can teach the girls how to cut a promo, and maybe have a decent match or two.

Kudos to Liger as well for doing a clean job to a dude with E pop when you've got D+. You even won a video-game tournament so this man's fire-pro game must be on-point as well. Also props to Punk for only getting irritated for jobing to his wife and turning heel(we don't use face/heel because I wanna use tweeners but I have a list of faces and heels) by hitting her with the GTS. I was expecting to have to give this man a 100k bonus or something to not quit on me it was D vs. B

Financially this was our first profitable month, and with this show, our Subscription, Broadcaster now makes us $120 a month in profit. So I'm way ahead of schedule in my mind. Can I beat WWE back to National? It's looking likely with them booking C+ shows now like it's going out of style. All-hail Universal Champion and Brock Lesnar slayer, Dolph Ziggler. They're like Hulk pushing this guy he hasn't lost via non-DQ since like June.

Next show is Gutshot: and we're now officially on the road to our MSG 64 GP for March, gotta really do some booking here so we can sell out a 20k+ seater by then. But I think it's doable.

<p>Inspired by a diary on this very site, I decided to play Ed Monton and create a wrestling company and it's accompanying dojo. Said company is called the Great Canadian Wrestling Association and since February 2016 it's actually been making a steady profit.</p><p> </p><p>

The first GCWA Heavyweight champion was Phillipe LeGrenier and he held the title until our September show when he lost it in a three way dance to Kirk Drury.</p><p> </p><p>

The first GCWA Tag Team champions were the team of Lobo Blanco and Sterling Whitcock whom I called The Bruisers. They managed to defend the belts twice before losing them to Jack and KP Avatar. Then KP was hired by RIPW and the belts were vacated. A three way dance involving The Bruisers, Jack Avatar and Ant-Man and Best of the Best (George Wolfe and Mario Da Silva) resulted in Best of the Best winning the titles.</p><p> </p><p>

Thus far KP Avatar is the only member of my roster to have been hired away from me, though Gidayu Katou Logan Wolfsbaine have both been hired to touring schedules with PGHW.</p><p> </p><p>

Really my only regrets were not jobbing Conner Threepwood to Logan Wolfsbaine before Conner quit.</p>

<span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Hulk Hogan, Sting and The Warrior vs. Vader and Bam Bam Bigelow</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Having picked up the victory against Curt Hennig at Starrcade, Hulk Hogan celebrated in the ring with his friends. But before long, Vader and Harley Race runs in and confronts Hogan. Vader says that he sees fear in Hogan’s eyes and in his soul. Vader says that Hogan is afraid of him. Vader is the No. 1 contender and he demands his match at SuperBrawl.Vader defeated Hulk Hogan in a Thundercage match by pinfall with a Triple Powerbomb after Harley Race interfered. Unstoppable 450 pounds monster heel Vader continues his devastating attack on Hulk Hogan with those big fists. Vader splashes down onto Hogan a couple of times. When, suddenly he is joined by “The Beast from the East” Bam Bam Bigelow. Vader and Bam Bam Bigelow double team Hogan with a devastating Aided Release Powerbomb. Hulk Hogan is kayfabe injured so that he can take time off to film season 2 of the Thunder of Paradise tv series. In july; Sting, The Warrior and Ray "The Law" Traylor managed to defeat Vader, Bam Bam Bigelow and Meng in a 3 vs. 3 Elimination Match at Bash At The Beach, but Vader wants revenge at Clash Of The Champions.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

The returning Hulk Hogan is wearing all black during his vignettes and drawing on themes from the O.J. Simpson double-murder case.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Instead of the "say your prayers and take your vitamins "we are getting monologues about "the darkside of Hulk Hogan", brother.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

At the premiere episode of WCW Monday Nitro, "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan will go head-to-head against his old arch enemy "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

In December 1994 Macho Man joined the company to be the best. He's got to start at the bottom like everyone else and work his way up. If Ric Flair is the man, then the Randy Savage wants a piece of him, because he is the Macho Man! The feud really took off after a match at Slamboree when Flair ended up attacking Savage’s father and brother. At Bash At The Beach; Randy Savage managed to defeat Ric Flair in a Lifeguard Match (with Baywatch babes in bikinis surrounding the ring). The match was the first 100 rated WCW match.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Randy Savage seems to have taken the German phenom Alex Wright under his wings, while "The Dirtiest Player In The Game" has backup in Arn Anderson, Curt Hennig and Steve Austin.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>The Steiners vs. ?</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

WCW has the strongest Tag Divisions on the Planet. The Steiners are one of the most feared, powerful, and dynamic tag-teams ever to compete inside the squared circle. They've won many tag team championships in numerous big promotions. Rick’s power and mat skill complemented Scott’s agility and helped the pair overcoming teams like The Road Warriors, The Fabulous Freebirds and Doom.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

After defeating Miracle Violence Connection in a hard-hitting dream feud, The Steiners are ready to take on all challengers!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Ray Traylor vs. Meng</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

It's a new "Take No Prisoners Attitude" for Ray "The Law" Traylor. WCW is bringing in the best wrestlers from all over the World, but he is still the toughest man to answer the challenges in WCW. He was appointed the special referee for the Falls Count Anywhere Match between Dustin Rhodes and Meng. He puts over Meng's size and toughness, but says he's taken down bigger and badder...</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Rick Martel vs. Steven Regal</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Claiming descent from William the Conqueror. The aggressive blue blood "Lord" Steven Regal looked the proper gentleman in his spotless cravat and houndstooth blazers, but he wrestled with all the refinement of a Manchester soccer hooligan. Mixing equal parts Snake Pit submissions and carnie survival tricks.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Veteran Rick Martel is something of a hot up and comer in 90s WCW, working a "good guy with a temper" gimmick.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Regal is tired about his lack of respect he gets in WCW and how if he has to start reaching out of WCW to destroy other worldly legends, then so be it. The two technicians face each other in a Best Of Five Match Series, which Regal leads 2 to 1 with a little help from his manager "Lord" Aloysius Hayes; a sneering aristocratic English gentleman, often sipping cups of tea and wearing a bow tie and frilly shirt. Hayes frequently interferes to see that the result goes in their favor, by using his cricket paddle.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Fire and Ice vs. Harlem Heat</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Ice Train faced Scott Norton in a match that ended in a double countout when both men clotheslined each other, knocking themselves out in the process. After the match, the two shook hands and Norton declared to announcer Gene Okerlund that he and Ice Train would become a formidable tag team because of their similar in-ring styles. The team was quickly named Fire and Ice. With help from manager Teddy Long, the team easily overpowered numerous teams as they tried to establish themselves as a legitimate No 1 contender and went on to win the WCW World Tag Team titles.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Known for their streetwise, in-your-face attitude and their fluid double-team moves; Harlem Heat has become one of the most dominant tag teams of the 1990s, steamrolling over the competition in WCW to become tag team champions on 2 occasions.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Both teams intends to recapture the WCW World Tag Team titles, but who is this mysterious manager that Harlem Heat has spoken with on the cellphone...</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>? vs. Sullivan's House of Animals</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

At first glance he does not appear to pose any threat, but Kevin Sullivan exude and aura of menace. He has a brilliant mind and a penchant for violence, a mixture between Napoleon and Hannibal Lecter. He is a Boston bad boy, who stomped heroes like Brian Pillman and Cactus Jack with the Sam Adams-soaked rage of a Beantown bar fighter. Throughout his career he has been involved in many of the most brutal matches in wrestling history. He is a brawler and will use any weapon that comes to hand during the course of a match. He is not adverse to attacking officials, commentators, photographers and even fans if they get in his way.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Tired of the failures of late, he decided to beat up his former bash brother One Man Gang and to throw him out of Sullivan's House of Animals. Sullivan delivered a fireball to the face of One Man Gang and then grabbed a steel chair and smashed One Man Gang into oblivion with it.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

When we did visit Kevin Sullivan and Woman in the Last House on the Left on Mean Street, he introduced his newest nightmare and it was the gift of insanity. From the "State Asylum for the Insane" it's "The Laughing Man" Hugh Morrus.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

<span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>[1995] The Alliance to End Hulkamania</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:10px;"><em>Meanwhile in WWF...</em></span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Bret Hart vs. Diesel</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Diesel have started a rivalry against fan favorite WWF World champion Bret "The Hitman" Hart trying to get his hands on the World title. "Master Manipulator" Jake Roberts is convincing the big man he has the recipe for beating Bret and will share it with Big Daddy Cool. But behind the scenes Roberts is trying to get his hands the title. The Hart vs. Diesel blowoff is suddenly a Triple Threat at In Your House in April. Which Jake wins. Thereby screwing both men by winning the WWF World title.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Diesel managed to defeat Jake Roberts to win the title in a Cage Match at In Your House in July and later defended it versus King of the Ring winner British Bulldog in a heel vs. heel match at WWF Summerslam after a distraction from Bret Hart. Bulldog is angry and blames Hart for losing the match, which continues the feud between The Hart Family and Camp Cornette</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

In a I Quit Match at Summerslam between the two former World champions, Bret "Hitman" Hart finally got his revenge, by defeating the master manipulator Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Bret Hart now targets the World champion Diesel and the belt he lost in the Triple Threat Match versus Diesel and Jake Roberts back in April.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>The Heartbreak Kid vs. The Dragon</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Shawn Michaels looks to use veteran Ricky Steamboat as a stepping stone into the main event scene and has begun taunting "The Dragon" by calling him a "has-been". The first match between the two ended in 30 minute time limit draw. Michaels managed to defeat Lex Luger at WWF Superstars in late August to win the WWF Intercontinental title, setting up a potential dream match series against challenger Ricky Steamboat.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Razor Ramon vs. Golddust</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Former Intercontinental champion Razor Ramon is being stalked by the mysterious newcomer Golddust. Golddust is obsessed by everything gold including Razor Ramon's jewelry.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>The Undertaker vs. The Million Dollar Corporation</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Vile tax collector, Irwin R. Schyster implored that everyone needed to pay their taxes. Even if they were dead! Upon learning that being six feet under is, in fact, not a tax shelter, we got the feud no on earth possibly could have wanted: IRS vs. The Undertaker? Death and Taxes...</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

After defeating his former ally I.R.S. and ending the Death and Taxes tag team (The Undertaker and I.R.S.) Ted DiBiase's new monster Sycho Sid managed to defeat The Undertaker in a Casket Match at Summerslam with a little help from Mabel. The Deadman hasn't been seen since!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Ahmed Johnson vs. Kama "The Supreme Fighter"</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

WCW managed to steal former NFL star Steve "Mongo" McMichael for their upcoming Monday Nitro show, but Vince still managed to get some mainstream media attention with former Chicago Bears star William "The Fridge" Perry. Perry teamed with Ahmed Johnson versus Kama "The Supreme Fighter" and Mabel at Summerslam. Ahmed managed to secure the win with a fast roll up out of nowhere. This results in Kama leaving The Million Dollar Team and go solo, continuing his rivalry with Ahmed Johnson.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>The Hart Family vs. Camp Cornette</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

It's the 1994 KOTR winner Owen Hart vs. British Bulldog the 1995 KOTR winner. After winning the KOTR British Bulldog claims he is "The King Of Harts" and bragged about it for months to come. After Bret Hart managed to defeat the inked martial arts badass "The White Angel" Camp Cornette now consists of Jim Cornette, British Bulldog, the returning Yokozuna, The Sultan and Shinobi; a "ninja assassin" hired by Jim Cornette to dispose of The Harts.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

As Jim Neidhart of The New Foundation was injured during a title match against The New Blackjacks, the titles was vacated resulting in a tag team tournament with the quarter finals taking place during Monday Night Raw and the semi finals and the final at Summerslam. When Neidhart returns The New Foundation intends to recapture their titles.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>The Patriot vs. Yokozuna</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

WWF needed a new great American hero to battle the evil foreigners Yokozuna and British Bulldog after Hulk Hogan and Lex Luger left the promotion. Clad in red, white and blue from head to foot including his symbolic mask, The Patriot is well on his way to becoming America's newest wrestling superhero.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>The Smoking Gunns vs. The New Blackjacks</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

The New Blackjacks are two big men that brought their rough-house Texas tactics to the WWF, making tag team gold. Two Cowboys riding in from Texas stealing the gold from The Smoking Gunns to kickstart a heated rivalry. The Blackjacks strike one of the most intimidating silhouettes in wrestling history. Two big, beefy men in black cowboy hats and clipped bushy moustaches. The wrestle a slow and destructive style and did injure Jim Neidhart of The New Foundation.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

Can the fan favorites Bart and Billy Gunn overcome The New Blackjacks and recapture the titles?</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>The Can-Am Express vs The Bodydonnas</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

The Bodydonnas (Flip and Zip) are fitness fanatics who often make fun of their opponents and the fans. They is managed by Sunny and is looking to establish themselves as the next major tag team in WWF.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

But to make it to the top of the foodchain they have to overcome fellow newcomers The Can-Am Express. The Can-Am Express is a ultra talented tag team that have won multiple titles in Japan and Mexico.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

<p>I love CGC but have grown tired of the 2016 roster, so I'm doing something different. I've let the AI book up until January 2019 and have taken over the train wreck from there. </p><p> </p><p>

It's a delightful mess. USPW has ransacked everyone popular under 40 (Ricky DeColt, Christian Price, Gargantuan) the company is losing $100,000 a month (and Alex wants profit by 2021) and Blockbuster is the CGC World Champion. They split all of the tag teams. They jobbed Ian Identity out to Major Negative. The only guy who seems to have gotten a push is Ryan Powell, who is locker room cancer with more enemies than I thought the game could process.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm mostly torn between a slow fix and a sudden overhaul. I'm going to see if I can make Blockbuster into a worthy champion (feeding him Powell is a good start) but the midcard needs to be gutted. Why pay $1400 for Jaime Atherton to do a job in the opener, when I can pay $400 for Canadian Crusher to have the exact same effect on the final rating? All of the ACPW stars have to go, replaced by unknowns on Written deals so I can run some house shows. I'm also going to rehab Ian Identity with the long-term goal of making him champion, and put the focus on tag teams. Let's see if I can find Jack a tag partner.</p>

<p>^^^ That sounds like a great save, should be a good challenge.</p><p> </p><p>

I recently got back into TEW after about a year away, picked up on my old USPW save. I finally got to book my long planned Independence Day Slam 2017; highlights being </p><p> </p><p>

> A Loser Leaves Town Match where Jay Chord beat James Justice (who opted to join SWF than stay with me, a move that paid off as he just beat Eric Eisen for their World title at Let The Games Begin)</p><p>

> 2/3 Falls match between Steve Frehley & Sean McFly with Frehley shaking McFly's hand after winning to turn face</p><p>

> Wolf Hawkins debuted to team with Nicky Champion against Enygma & Marat Khoklov</p><p>

> My main event was The Force beating Rich Money to become the new World Champion.</p><p> </p><p>

I noticed The Force improving towards the end of 2016 & decided to try booking him to the main event of the biggest show as a throwback to him being the original USPW star; he's now stupidly popular across North America, is capable of having really good matches & kills it on promos despite not being the best.</p><p> </p><p>

I've mentioned here back when I last played this save that I had Alicia Strong leading a faction of 2nd/3rd generation stars to take what she believes should have been hers, USPW itself and she's now a good bit of the way there as her APEX stable are dominating my shows. Wolf Hawkins joined APEX at the following PPV when Alicia helped him beat The Force for the title; Jay Chord is my National Champion after he defeated Idol Stardust (Jefferson Stardust) & 'injured' Idol who has gone to shoot a movie; CV-2 are Tag Team Champions & Alicia is Women's Champion. Alicia's pop ranges between 81 & 88 in America and her feud with Melody has been massive in elevating both of them and the title which is now at 85 prestige. The other members are Matthew Keith & Robin DaLay, I could easily push Keith to the main event now if I chose & I'd hope that DaLay can get there in a couple years.</p><p> </p><p>

I've also been lucky with Time Decline as Enygma & Sean McFly are the only ones in decline from my Upper Mid - Main but that hasn't stopped me from giving Enygma a World Title reign & McFly vs Frehley was my only A rated match at IDS 2017.</p><p> </p><p>

In terms of hiring & pushes I'm trying to stay as true to USPW as I can. Stardust is the only lightweight that has been pushed & that's because he got ripped. Once I saw he got a movie role I had no choice but to get behind him more too. I'm even a bit annoyed with myself for how many Middleweights I have in the top half of the card but at least there's a precedent for that in USPW with Enygma.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm refusing to drain pop from people I'm letting go (hence the James Justice world title win) but they are going out on their back. And I'm not just blowing everyone out of the water for signings either which has made for what I believe to be a really fun gameworld</p><p>

> SOTBPW kept Champagne Lover & signed a main event level Frederique Garcia, Remo & Valiant.</p><p>

> SWF signed then-TCW World Champion Aaron Andrews, James Justice, Petr Novak (who I had no choice but to fire for roids), Rocky Golden, Tim Westybrook & Wade Orson (I was very annoyed at that one).</p><p>

> TCW have obviously been raided by myself & SWF & while still National are beginning to struggle without Golden. One person they did sign however is Spencer Spade who I hope they can build. In fact if I ever get bored of my USPW I think this would be a great scenario to take over as Bryan Vessey, RDJ & Sammy Bach are very popular & they have an interesting lower card with Lassana Makutsi, Greg Black, Spade, Rudy Velasquez & Donte Dunn. Another problem they have is Benny Benson is a main eventer but is only on a PPA deal working with 4C and is constantly loaned to COTT companies.</p><p>

> 21CW are in serious debt and are open to a takeover should I want to.</p><p>

> NOTBPW have lost a few but signed Tyson Baine from me. Also I love their Women's division as Brooke Tyler is great & they've signed Emma Bitch, Jaime Quine, Nadia Snow & Zoe Ammis. I did manage to steal Lauren Easter though.</p><p>

> CGC were doing ok with Marc DuBois as World Champion but he left to be a jobber for Burning Hammer. Gargantuan is champ now but things are looking really bad for them as a bunch of people are PPA incl. Gargantuan. And it just got even worse as Jack DeColt broke his neck in the Last Man Standing battle royale.</p><p>

> Not a whole lot to report in Japan except Greg Gauge joined Burning Hammer & is now a main eventer for them but Pride are currently winning their battle.</p>

Let's see if I can find Jack a tag partner.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This is clever, and a great way to get a unique variation on the game-world. Similar to what I've seen folks do on Football Manager when they want things to be varied a bit. </p><p> </p><p> When it comes to cutting costs, it helps to be ruthless. Which can suck, because some openers are more fun to book than others. But if they both have the same effect on the match grade, the cheaper one is the right choice.</p>

Are you playing as owner or head booker? And follow up: Who is your user character?

I went with Bobby Thomas as head booker. He's a sentimental favourite and a solid hand who doesn't break the company by being amazing great at anything. Plus I wanted to experience Alex DeColt as a locker-room poison boss with insane demands. "No cruiserweights" scuppered my planned Zeus & Stevie reunion, and his lust for profits got half the midcard fired.

My current CGC World Champion's stats.

The 'Buster headlined his first PPV 'In The Company of Legends' against former-lackey Skip Beau to a C rating, and now gets a month off from the ring as the Ultimate Showdown Series gets underway. Frankly I think it's my favorite one I've ever booked.

So in my 11 year plus Dragon Gate 01 game I randomly decided to sign up a bunch of gaijin and now use them once a month to run PWG shows. So much fun doing so... Untelevised in front of 300 in Reseda all while selling out Dome's in DG on the reg. I mix in guys from my delvelopmental from time to time (EVOLVE,1PW,&, The Crash) so it really feels like an Indy dream fed.
