Small Questions Thread & "Living FAQ"

I'm doing a Watcher Game on the WCW Lives mod.

In 2005 WWE gets a "Whistle-blower Scandal" where Randy Orton tattles on everyone for doing drugs or steroids or whatever.

Is this a narrative? I feel like I wanna say it was a new game feature for 2016 but I couldn't find any consequences from it except the entire WWE hating Orton.

Check the Narratives in the database. Never seen it before but it feels like if it were a feature of the game, there would be a prestige drop for the company.

If I were changing a company from a Pop > Perf to a Perf > Pop, what differences are there? Like, how does a performance company find the Main Eventers, upper mids etc of the roster? Is it still mainly based off of pop or will the best wrestlers be the ones that get the top spots etc?

Not sure exactly which traits cause it to last longer or shorter. To make them happy, you just have to do things that "please" them. Throwing money at them or giving them a paid vacation is the "easy" way to do that, but there are many other ways as well. A worker can be happy with his booking if his momentum is good, he can be happy about getting a win over someone more popular than him, he can be happy at a backstage speech you give him after an event, he can be happy if you rib him before a show and he finds it funny. He can also get a boost to morale if you "clear the air" before a show when you have 3 people who are having morale problems.

Does anyone ever like adjust Star Quality and Sex Appeal after unmasking or masking a worker? It feels like cheating, but if I could take a bland looking but really successfully talented worker and make him look awesome, it would merit a 10+ boost surely? Think Rey Mysterio unmasked vs masked.

Quick question: I'm a Regional company, sharing a worker with a Cult company and he naturally has them as his priority. My question is: Next coming saturday, I have an event, they have a B-show. Will he still prefer them over me, even if it's a B-Show vs. an event?

If they prefer the other company, the size of the event is irrelevant. They will always be unavailable if they can work a show for a bigger company.

If you're unemployed, you need to resign first, though.

So storylines DO help your wrestlers put on better matches, but aren't necessary. That's how I understand it, at least. Hopefully someone else can give you a little more insight but I'm pretty sure about the relationship with momentum.

But with a bland worker getting a mask, they will get a boost once the mask has some prestige, so there is already some benefit in that way.

Deping on how long the champ is gone, it can cause the title's prestige to drop (it will drop if not defended at events... can't remember how often a title is supposed to be defended though).
