<p>I have big plans for Paige and her contract is up. TNA is offering her more money than I am allowed to give her and while she is "seriously considering both offers" I'm scared to death that she will defect. </p><p> </p><p>

Would adding loyalty to WWE through the editor help my chances of retaining her at all? I pretty much boosted everything else. Her contract really is ridiculous in terms of what I am offering.</p>

Is it possible to eat relationships mid game? I want to hire someone but he hates a few people on my roster who will be leaving soon but have hiring vetos in their contract. Id rather not go and edit their contracts just wondering if I can make them like him a bit more!

Pretty sure you can only do that when they are on your roster by meddling.

You can always use the cheat code "foggynoggin", but that causes ALL relationships in the game to be forgotten. If you don't wanna do that, I'm afraid your only option is to edit the other guys' contract and remove their hiring veto's.

On the options page you can change their relationship to simmering tension instead of strong dislike/hatred and they shouldn't block the hiring.

I think you'll be able to keep her by setting loyalty, even mid-negotiation. You should get an e-mail saying TNA's bid failed.

I recently had that with Sami Zayn in one of my games (I rarely use the Dirt Sheet) when he was seriously under performing and that was the cause. If you see someone with this note, they are generally going to be better off without a manager unless the manager is A LOT more over/talented than they are, in which case they will likely still be more of a help than a hinderance.<p> </p><p> The Chemistry (motivation) bonuses and penalties are linked to the news stories you see where a worker reveals that they like/dislike certain situations. Working with bigger/smaller workers, working the opening match, making debuts (all of which can be good or bad) and being nervous when they are pushed (the only one without a positive to balance it) are the stories there and making smart use of these traits can really help you to plan out a card once you know who fits where. Finding a Giant who loves working with smaller workers and pairing them with a smaller guy who likes working with big guys THEN finding that they have chemistry as opponents? In-ring magic. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> A quick note... a worker can only have one of the motivation traits, so if you find a positive you are on to a winner. And if you get the "nervous when pushed trait" you are going to have someone who is likely always going to underperform when they are in the upper reaches of the card. Which can really derail some long term plans, and is why you may want to take your time pushing someone... find out if they can handle it first THEN push them. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks for this informative answer, however it leads me to another question now; do these motivation traits get saved somewhere like the interpersonal chemistry effects? They're not stored anywhere.

Doh! :o

Thank you for all the help.

And now I'd like to ask for more of a tip then a direct question; is there any such angle that calms the crowd down? Say, like an irl intermission?

You see, I'm running a company that requires a Technical Mastery match and those don't go so well if the crowd is cooked up. But I recruited so many Technicians it seems a waste of talent not to have a Technical Mastery for the Main Event. And it seems telling everyone that if they just sit down and shut up they'll enjoy the next match more isn't working.

There's no equivalent to match aims for angles, so no, there's no angle that calms the crowd down per se. But you could purposely book an angle that scores low enough that it will bring the crowd's mood down. Rate the workers involved on something they're not good at, make sure it's a major angle and have the angle at least be 5 minutes, otherwise it won't impact crowd management.

As for the Technical Masterclass: I'm no expert on match aims, but the way I understand it, having a Technical Masterclass as the main event is not a good idea at all as it keeps the crowd engaged, but not overly rowdy (as stated in-game). But for a main event, you want the crowd to be really hot and at their peak.

I have rarely used the Technical Masterclass aim, but when I do, I put it right before the main event and after a cool-down segment so that the crowd isn't ice-cold for the main event, but not burnt out, either.

I'm not sure if it's the right approach, but I feel it works best for me.

<p>Playing WCW lives mod as WWE but WCW doesn't seem to particularly aggressive despite declaring war on them. What tweaks can I make to guarantee they will pose a better challenge? Because right now they are just floating along and I'm kicking their ads with ease.</p><p>

They don't seem to be signing anybody of any use.</p><p>

They're just letting contracts run out.</p><p>

And not coming after any of my guys...</p>

<p>They start with $500,000 in the red, so if you're still within the first few months of the save, they definitely doesn't have the money to outbid you or even up their production. </p><p>

The popularity is also quite low for WCW, as mentioned above, it was meant to be a challenge. They will not challenge you right away...</p>

But the last match before intermissions were always big blow-outs, like overbooking a SAnity vs DIY match or something.</p>
