<p><strong>WPL, January 1 2021</strong></p><p> </p><p>

* Farewell RIPW! Not, sadly, because they’ve gone out of business – but they have jumped to Regional. We’re no longer ‘competing’ with them so our shows are getting the C/C+ ratings they deserve. L-RING and ELITE are our only competitors at Small now, and we’re delivering better matches and shows than them. Shame, then, that they have huge bankrolls so can afford semi-pro/professional broadcast quality on their shows. We’re ahead on everything else, but still getting dinged for that.</p><p> </p><p>

* We had our first instance of clique building after our December show, with Austin Smooth hooking up his friends Millie the Minx and Ariel Breaks – fast work, as I’d only just meddled in his relationship with Breaks to create a friendship that day. I suppose Millie’s just so great, he had to introduce Breaks to her...</p><p> </p><p>

* That act of shared friendship pushed our backstage area over 90% for the first time. Alex Braun is a locker room leader, which helps, but I’ve mainly avoided hiring bad influences (currently I have Braun + 12 positive/very positive influences). I have been free with my meddling to foster good relationships between wrestlers – 14 of them now, including dating between Catalina Vazquez/Texas Hangman and AmEl2/Claire Winters, which may go some way towards explaining their good ratings against each other</p><p> </p><p>

* October was a big month for WPL, as we finished 2nd in the Mid South regional battle – QAW suffered the indignity of losing to a company that gets docked points off every show grade, after our October show included 3 C+ matches and the AmEl2/Winters main event that bagged a B, for a C+ show overall. AmEl2 is a freaking ratings machine, and I’m conflicted about taking the title off him. Quite why Winters hasn’t been picked up by anyone else is beyond me.</p><p> </p><p>

Still, it was time for a change, and after the WPL belt spent a year with me, and then a year with AE2, Winters’ improvement this year means she fully deserves the title she won at our season finale in December.</p><p> </p><p>

* WPL have opted to go for a have/have not approach to booking – 10 workers who’ll be booked strongly to build their overness and deliver good matches, and 10 workers who’ll be there to lose and just make the others look good. Sucks to be them, but they have a job (to do).</p><p> </p><p>

* One of the things about hitting our sixth year is the number of regens. I currently have Not Brent Hill and Not Grunt on my roster, and they’re forming an unlikely tag team – at least, according to their pictures. Not April Appleseed and Not Nathan Coleman have also found their way into the company.</p><p> </p><p>

* Our December season finale, The Final Whistle, has risen to an Above Average importance.</p><p> </p><p>

* Our owner, Michael Bull, passed away in May. That was awkward, as I’d just passed an owner goal and everything. I’d say he’ll be missed, but Royce Greig is a better referee, and new owner Alex Braun doubles up as road agent and colour guy. I can live with that deal.</p><p> </p><p>

* For James Casey, skill change highlights are as follows:</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q81/jamescasey_photos/jcskills2020.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

2-4 gained in Rumble, 5-6 gained in Technical, 5-6 gained in Flying</p><p>

6 gained in Basics, 3 in Psychology and 6 in Consistency</p><p>

Athleticism has seemingly capped at 64/65, Mic skills up 4/5</p><p> </p><p>

My roll this year is 32. “Snow To An Eskimo” You have devoted your holiday season to training in the ring +5 to your Selling skill – Fine by me, as I can always use a better grounding in the basics.</p><p> </p><p>

Something I missed in 2019: WPL had performers in the Power 500! At #419 was me, 445 was Claire Winters and 500 was American Elemental II</p><p> </p><p>

For 2010 the number was higher: American Elemental II leapt to #318, Winters was at 406, I was at 419 with David Stone right behind at 420, Seth Whitehead held 465, regen Natalie Danzig confirmed that she should be pushed harder with 479 and Catalina Vazquez rounded out the roster with 497.</p>

So, 2018 turned 2019, and since the first quarter of the year is off season for my touring company, I forgot to stop at New Year to take stock of everything. Again. Fortunately, I was only halfway through the first show of the year when I remembered that I was supposed to do something...

The company is slightly in debt, but I hope to sort that out over the year. If push come to shove, we'll end the fall tour a month early. Popularity wise, we're just about halfway to regional. It's going to take at least another two years, I figure.

During 2018 I started to improve our production levels, hoping to actually beat someone in the regional battles, but so far it has only lead to a bleeding wallet. I might have to scale back again. Both the economy and the wrestling industry has been in free fall, so it's been a bit of a struggle. Our regular shows attract around a hundred spectators, while the season's finale brought in just over 500 paying guests.

I (as Daniel Slater) held the heavyweight title until April, then handed it over to Tyrone Gray who held it until WrestleNation at the end of the year where Slater recovered the title. Gray is the only wrestler who is regularly causing trouble in an otherwise harmonious locker room. If it escalates, I will let him go. At the same show we introduced our second belt, the tag team title, where Blue Phantom and American Elemental II became the first champions.

Avalanche Takano has been a great worker for us, but now he has decided to end his learning tour in America and return home to Japan. It's a shame, but I guess at this point, everyone is replaceable.

Slater has gained most skill in Hardcore, Flashiness, Safety, Consistency, Selling, Microphone, Charisma and Acting.

Additionally, on the random event I rolled a 20, got Drunken Monkey Style, a +5 bonus to Hardcore.

ThunderLance Wrestling

End of 2016 (Year 1)

ThunderLance Wrestling hit Small towards the end of the year, but has struggled to gain much momentum now that it's competing with other feds. The good news is our finances are in the green now! Amy Galaxy, Avalanche Takano, Logan Wolfsbaine, and Laura Flame have all had lots of good exposure and chances to help carry the company. I let Freedom Eagle leave the company because his talent was not equal to his ego. I feel that Ava Anderson may soon share the same fate.

I don't really know what pace I should be aiming for, but I'm reasonably happy with my stat gains. My top row stats didn't shoot up as quickly as I'd hoped, but my Mic/Cha/Act went up at least 15 points each, and I saw very nice gains in Performance as well. I got 10 in Stamina, but at 40 I'm still taking hits for my longer matches, and I'd like to fix that. I'm not the greatest worker, but I can be carried by the more talented members of my roster, and I've focused on working with them of course.

COMPANY STATS

World Champ: Logan Wolfsbaine

Main Eventers: Me, Justice Jolson, Logan Wolfsbaine

Power 500: Logan Wolfsbaine (#322)

Awards: Most Improved Company

Best Match: Laura Flame d. Hawkeye Calhoun, September, D

Best Show: November, D-

Popularity: F+ Great Lakes, F Mid West and Mid Atlantic

Ranking: 39/41 (38th in finance)

End of Year Stats

2016: 79fc38121fc10985dafee101cc21a48d.png

End of Year Rolls:

2016: +44 Legit

Personal MotY:

2016: Laura Flame d. Tom Bombadil, D- (May)

Match History:

2016: 23-8, Average E

Goals for next year:

-Get $10k in the bank to keep the owner happy

-Get my charisma/SQ/Pop up high enough that I make a decent choice for figurehead

-Raise Stamina

-At least remain Small

-Bring in a locker room leader, and get morale up to 80

-Upgrade production at least a bit to lessen the penalties

-Make a big hire that I couldn't before. I haven't brought in anybody new since my initial hiring spree.

<p>Just a quick question as this will be my first time attempting this challenge.</p><p> </p><p>

Does it matter if the intial local promotion is on a touring schedule or a regular schedule?</p><p> </p><p>

Anyways, here we go:</p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="68f9f9d0928914a5c24db182e12a239d.png" data-src="https://i.gyazo.com/68f9f9d0928914a5c24db182e12a239d.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Obviously named my guy Kazuchika Okada because I'm a mark <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="8a6ce4eed4f512dc6f8d33f35391feea.png" data-src="https://i.gyazo.com/8a6ce4eed4f512dc6f8d33f35391feea.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I feel like it's best to start off as performance oriented as possible, after all I want to gain momentum and popularity as quick as possible and I won't be doing that in a pop rated product where my guy has 0 pop.</p>

<p>After a long time lurking I have decided to record a challenge. I had a previous attempt at RTG in the UK but I made a few annoying errors in planning my attempt to get to cult. This attempt will be with a high flyer style, Australian promotion.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/p1Xw9CM.png</span></p><p> </p><p>

Wanted something that would provide a trend bonus but wouldn't provide any harmful limitations and I think this will work. Looks like it is a balanced in a way that provides plenty of options in the future.</p><p> </p><p>

Central Australia is quite rightly a low importance region (70 importance, 60 community), but it doesn't have another promotion active and provides a 40% spillover to two regions which makes it the best one for expansion to cult. There are potential TV deals waiting at regional level with 3 game areas at E pop. </p><p> </p><p>

I Will be running a weekly product at one hours length...this is sounding very gamey but I want to take down RAW as soon as possible <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/5nhe4hr.png</span></p><p> </p><p>

I realised in my first attempt that the performance and entertainment rows advance at such a higher rate than the others, so I put them low knowing they will catch up quick. </p><p> </p><p>

I Will have an update soon about the roster, it looks like there are some potential gems here if the four other promotions don't snap them up first.</p>

<p>Well, I'm nearly finished with 2018 of my RtG challenge. MAW, ACPW, and two feds I created and dropped into the game at the beginning are out of business. GCG was purchased by BHOTWG and disbanded. GSW was left 10 million dollars by a random guy in his will, and is hostile towards nearly every promotion in the U.S. Jeff Nova is toxic, Champagne Lover is still the world's most popular wrestler and SOTBW are battling with USPW for global supremacy after a string of signings from SWF and TCW. Reverie keeps expanding to Japan. </p><p> </p><p>

And I'm still a local promotion in the US with F+ pop but not enough booking skill or money to be able to move on up. Not to mention the Economy is at F- and falling, and the Wrestling industry is at F and falling. I'm making about a grand <em>on average</em> a month, running one show every two months, desperate to make the owner goal of having 10k in the bank by the end of 2019. </p><p> </p><p>

On the flip side, I gave Gidayu Katou a hug after his final match in my promotion, and found the moment very moving. Will post some screencaps later. Here's hoping the Industry improves and I can, you know, grow.</p>

My character skills as of January, 2019, and these have been my rolls:</p><p>

28. “A Bumpy Ride” You have devoted your holiday season to training in the ring +5 to your Basics skill</p><p>

24. "Top Rope Hero" You have devoted your holiday season to training in the ring +5 to Aerial skill</p><p>

29. “So, Tell Me About Your Mother…”You have devoted your holiday season to training in the ring +5 to your Psychology skill</p><p>

f</p><p>

The Industry and Economy are still at F and F-, but at least the Economy is starting to turn around. I'm hoping to ride the wave of new signee Bret Heartbreaks' astronomical momentum into a growth spurt as the econ and industry improve.</p>

<p>I'm doing a RTG on the CVerse mod and my company went bankrupt in mid 2017, and I've been simming for 13 months and no local companies have been created, so do I just wait longer for when a local company is created or am I able to apply to small companies?</p><p> </p><p>

Might help to know that my company was local size when it died.</p>

<p>Starting again in the British Isles. Is a far easier prospect than anywhere else considering the lack of rivals and the bloated roster on 21CW. Product made that focuses on high flyers, which will avoid me getting in direct talent competition with the hardcore/brawl based SNP.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/FZos1bx.png</span></p><p> </p><p>

UC is made to fit in with the promotion and is good to have as I won't find many luchador style wrestlers who are willing to come to the UK.</p><p> </p><p>

<p>Was still only getting 0.3 pop gain per show. I guess the reason I was getting 0.5 on a previous attempt was because of a very high wrestling industry grade? Or because I was smashing the event grades out of the park because it was performance over popularity?</p><p> </p><p>

Was 50k in the red by the turn of the year and wasn't going to make it back in time. I'm going to try again and instead of doing a weekly show, I will create a brand split and have them each do a weekly show. That should mean I will be getting to shows that create profit (400+ fans) well before the turn of the year which should provide enough time to make back the major losses before the banks start looming over me.</p><p> </p><p>

Edit: It is wrestling industry that effects it. Getting .5 gains with B+ industry even with E rated shows.</p>

<p>Well, I think I've been hard done by. I got fired 2 days after my first show, which I'm reasonably sure was due to one of the owner goals being "Don't be under $0 at any point". My new champion broke her wrist, the announcer got into an argument with someone and developed a hatred, and one of the undercard showed up drunk annoying everyone else.</p><p> </p><p>

On the bright side, reading the email that says I got fired cause a game crash, so now I have to start over anyway.</p>

So it has been awhile since i got much time to play... Here is a recap.

So attempt number 3 is the key...

Not only are we still going strong but i have managed to survive a second full year, as well as beating the Owner goal of reach 10,000 by January 2018.

The Finances sit at 12.954. Our pop is 13.3.. So yes we have hit Small. We went Small after Novembers show and boy was i not ready for what comes with that, so we have to have 16 Wrestlers on the Roster - So i need to Hire 8 more. Production has to go up in many areas - We cannot afford this, i'm putting everything up bar 'Live Event Experience' the extra 1,000 per show on top of all the other rises is just too much ... For now. I have hired an Announcer (Ian Rosa) and Simona Cox will go on Colour.

We had four different Champions last year with Khloe beating me for the belt to sort of put an end to me facing Women storyline, she dropped the belt back to me though a Month later in March. Colin Picalo went through my entire stable beating Bat Cooper, Laurel Wreath and Annihilus to earn his last ever shot and finally beat me for the belt in October. Before dropping it to Annihilus in December because i will not be renewing Picalos contract (which is up in January, he wants too much of a rise).

In out of ring news Sharif and me still have issues, Kitty Katz had a few months off after getting pregnant (i have now hired her partner Leighton Buzzard). Kourtney handed her notice in because she couldn't work for us anymore... All her fault she kept on causing issues. Oh yes and Sharif also got refused a full payrise (wanted an extra 400) i gave him 25% which didn't please him at all so he may be next out.

Here's my stats...

.. And may end of year roll is....

36. “They Love Me… They Hate Me… They Love Me… They Hate Me…” You have gotten better at making the fans cheer for you or boo you. You have 20 points in total to add to your scores at playing a babyface or a heel.

Bit boring ... I guess i'll put all 20 into playing a Face just incase i want to turn at some point, maybe i'll build to that and become the Figurehead.

http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo302/brettney1980/wrestling%20stuff/R2G%20Jessie%20Omega-3-Year2_zpszsusuxse.png

Interesting stats;

Bad Idea Wrestlings best show: BIW Evil that Men do (E+ June 2017)

Bad Idea Wrestlings Best Match: Colin Picalo defeated 'The Fallen' Jessie Omega (E+ BIW Murder Incorporated, August 2017)

Highest Attendance: Bad Idea Secret Santa '2' (264, December 2017)

My Record: 11 wins, 6 losses. Overall 25 Wins, 23 Losses, 1 Draw.

My Best Match: Colin Picalo defeated 'The Fallen' Jessie Omega (E+ BIW Murder Incorporated, August 2017)

Finances are sitting at 10,977 (down from last January), not too bad of a loss but still things are a little tight at the moment. Pop is at 17.1.

Fopur Champions again in 2018 with Annihilus dropping the belt to Russell Nixon at Januarys event, Nixon held the belt until June when he dropped it back to Annihilus who dropped it to me in December after i turned Face earlier in the year. I have been feuding with my former stable, i went through Laurel Wreath and Bat Cooper before beating Annihilus for the belt, The Damned and Cobra look like they are set to join Cooper and Wreath while Annihilus is on his way out (he wants too much of a pay increase to stay). The Queen of the ring belt isalmost 2 years old now and we have had 5 different Champions with Laurel Wreath the current Champ holding the belt twice, Notorious F.R.E.A.K is the only guy to hold the Title.

Here's my current stats....

http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo302/brettney1980/wrestling%20stuff/R2G%20Jessie%20Omega-3-Year3_zpsx5aahvqv.png

My end of year roll is...

54. "As Real As It Gets" The World of MMA called you out and you delivered. Add +10 between Toughness and Menace. Add MMA to your character (Other Genre)

I put 3 into Menace and 7 into Toughness.

Interesting stats;

Bad Idea Wrestlings best show: BIW Murder Incorporated (D- August 2018)

Bad Idea Wrestlings Best Match: 'The Fallen' Jessie Omega defeated Notorious F.R.E.A.K (D- BIW Murder Incorporated, August 2018)

Highest Attendance: BIW Firecracker (354, October 2018)

My Record: 6 wins, 7 losses. Overall 31 Wins, 30 Losses, 1 Draw.

My Best Match: 'The Fallen' Jessie Omega defeated Notorious F.R.E.A.K (D- BIW Murder Incorporated, August 2018)

<p>End of year 1</p><p>

The Purple Star, British Lucha Wrestling.</p><p> </p><p>

Went ahead with my plan to create a brand split and have them both run a weekly show. This time it is clear that by doing so I will be out of debt before mid 2017. Went down as low as -85k before starting to make a profit when 400+ started turning up to shows. Now the attendances are around 900 and my balance is -55k. 10k a month profit is easily achievable. Once I reach regional I plan to unify the brands and stick to a weekly show with a monthly large event. Wrestling industry is at D- and falling so I may have to put up with a period where gaining popularity is a chore.</p><p> </p><p>

The stars of the promotion are Cobra and JOJI, who are the only two to have held the world title so far. The tag titles started off with Kimi Kawano and Ferdinand Arneaux, but a torn meniscus suffered by Kawano at the hands of Stardust Phil Cox meant he would be out for 13 months, basically until the end of his excursion. Therefore he was released and the titles then went to Jon Michael Sharp and Martin Heath. I am starting negotiations with Duberry Excess, who will be my best worker by far. Has F popularity in the UK but it won't be difficult to build him up considering his ability. He was number 106 in the power 500 and none of my current roster made an appearance on there.</p><p> </p><p>

My user character also suffered a bad injury, this time at the hands of the CEO, Jamie Anderson. Thankfully successful surgery limited the downtime from a year to six months. Even with the layoff I am pleased with the progress of his stats. Still can't pull off a good match, but I am sure it will come when the basics are at a reasonable level.</p><p> </p><p>

Starting stats: <span>http://i.imgur.com/7pSDNA5.png</span></p><p>

End of year 1: <span>http://i.imgur.com/DIqP07p.png</span></p><p> </p><p>

My dice roll is 53, which grants me +10 between star quality and acting and makes me a movie star. Pretty great first roll to get, although missing out on shows because of potential filming might be a pain. The ten points are all going into star quality. I don't know why film producers are hiring a small British luchador with 42 for acting ability for their big movies <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

In news around the wrestling world, the biggest was the death of Steve DeColt, who passed away in May. He still managed to pick up veteran wrestler of the year and came in second place in the power 500, only losing out to Yoshimi Mushashibo. Mexican Hardcore Wresting has opened, but I don't expect them to last long.</p>

<p>Using the C-Verse 05 for this one. Here's my boy Jordan Joyce. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q685/RynWlsn/jj.jpg</span><p> </p><p> </p><p>

And my starting stats are as follows.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q685/RynWlsn/startingstats.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Starting company is Project X Wrestling based in Tri State, USA. iDOL's logo for it is boss. And my owner is Bret Graveson which means I don't have to hire a referee and he's going to work for free anyway. Winner winner, discount chicken dinner? I did a RTG in 2013 and found making money was easy at such a low level. I was able to hire Davey Boy Smith Jr as a Local company somehow... I hear it's different in this one so I'll probably go bankrupt in the first year. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">End Of First Year</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

PGHW took home nearly half of the awards with 16 A* rated matches and 30 A* rated events. They've closed right in on Burning Hammer and should usurp them as the top promotion in Japan soon. Meanwhile, every Australian promotion has gone bankrupt with MWF closing at the end of December. SWF are still the world's top promotion but Skull DeBones as Champ isn't working out. He was actually bumped from the main event of Christmas Clash facing Eric Eisen so Rich Money & Remo vs. Christian Faith & James Justice could headline.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I think I'm progressing pretty nicely, I'm especially liking that 52 Psychology stat for obvious reasons. My best match was a C- against Marc Speed with an average rating of E+ for the year. It probably doesn't help that I only worked Marc Speed twice and didn't work Idol or Raphael. I was stuck with Huey Cannonball, Frankie Dee and Puma Boy for most of the year. This year I will turn heel to bump that performance stat up and have a few matches with Idol and Raphael, the top two faces in the promotion.</p></div><p></p><p></p>

Alright, another year in the books for the Wrestling Associaton of Mexico (WAM), founded on the back of a drunken bet between lucha libre legend Aguila and a random Scottish kid on holiday in Mexico, the wrestler now known as Scotia. Knowledge of the language has improved from “dos cerveza por favor” to fluent, but the location of Scotia's passport remains unknown. That said... despite being sort of held hostage under the vague threat of needing to pay back a debt by making money with lucha libre, Scotia has led WAM to a highly acclaime company. In 1999 we were lsited as the most improved company in pro wrestling... in 2000 we were named the best company in the world AND most improved company. We've broken the lucha libre trend of running one big show per month, something that was forced when things took a downturn in the 80s, and we are running weekly shows in Mexico City, with major monthly shows on top. In 2000 we ran 60 shows, building up money as we go with a war chest of almost half a million dollars. We have our own lucha libre school and our first graduate is a young man called Raul Aguilar who we turned into StarAguilar for his debut with a suitable mask.

We've gone from holding shows in front of 979 fans at the start of 2000 to having 6,200 fans in attendance at our final show of the year. Pro Wrestling Hits seems to love us too... as a company we won Company of the Year (ending BHOTWG's 5 year streak with the title) and Most Improved Company of the Year for the second year in a row. Our WAM Dia De Los Muertos show was awarded the accolade of Show Of The Year, something we are extremely proud of as for the first time we had our full roster available for that show, our workers choosing to prioritise us over all other lucha libre companies. The show was highlighted by a double main event of former 3 time champion Nicolas Lopez defeating Pro Wrestling Hits Rookie of the Year, Lagarto Verde (another home grown star) before the trios title had a huge match as Luis Montero, El Critico and myself won by DQ against former WAM champion (and homegrown star) Chimera, Axxis Jr and Labertino Jr with Chimera piledrivering Montero to end the match and keep the new trios titles for a little longer. Speaking of the talent... here are our entries in the top 500 this year. I think I may just have a career in this, not just a strange Stockholm Syndrome success story...

4 (up from 138) Luis Montero: The man is a legend in lucha libre, becoming a star when there was regular events held... this year he proved he can still do it, being involved in all of our top 10 matches and discovering an untapped potential on the microphone. He may not quite be in the shape he used to be in, but the extra bulk certainly hasn't hurt his career. Joined us in April, fought his way to championship gold in October after a deeply personal rivalry with Nicolas Lopez stopped him winning at our biggest event of the year held in July, LuchaMania.

12 (up from 290) Lagarto Verde: “Green Lizard” is a 20 year old sensational high flyer who seems destined for greatness. He has regularly seconded Luis Montero when required and has earned singles championship opportunities too, though has so far fallen just short. Time is on his side though... with charisma, a great look, talent and the ability to put t all together he seems to be a lock for future world champion.

14 (up from 281) Scotia: Holy carp, it's me! While I've undoubtedly grown as a performer this year, I am deliberately pairing myself up with the best around me. The second ever WAM tag team champions alongside El Critico, I've been using him, Luis Montero, Rafael Ruiz and others to help me learn more technical skills while also mastering lucha libre in general. I may be a former champion here too, but I'm not really that good... Pro Wrestling Hits seems to disagree though, ranking me as the 14th best wrestler in the world for the year 2000.

16 (up from 233) E Critico: A man who joined WAM at the same time as Luis Montero, he and I formed a team and haven't looked back. The current WAM tag team champions, Critico is a talente luchador who I can't help but feel is being held back with me. But he has championship gold, strong booking and the fans love him intensely so he doesn't seem to mind.

17 (up from 221) Axxis Jr: The man who believes everything revolves around him... his team with Labertino Jr carried over from MPWF (where he has held tag and trios gold) and immediately rubbed everyoe in WAM the wrong way, then even more so when they aligned with the egomaniacal WAM champion Chimera. The trio are the first and still reigning WAM trios champions having won the tournament for the gold in September. He also beat Chimera for the QdLL championship but has fallen short in challenging Luis Montero in the 32 man tournament currently running.

18 (up from 223) Labertino Jr / Leonardo Cortes: Has been allowed to unleash his charisma and his team with Axxis Jr has le him to new heights in his career. Not as good as PWH thinks....

21 (up from 286) Chimera: A homegrown talent within WAM, at one point this year he held five championships as WAM champion, QdLL champion, WAM trios champion and QdLL tag champion while also beingn the winner of the El Rey de la Ringo tournament in 2000. Absolutely golden on the microphone, his ability to get heat is increidble and his 9 month reign as WAM champion has been a career highlight. Is only 23 years old, with two years of experience.

27 (up from 110) Nicolas Lopez: Was removed as WAM figurehead partly due to an injury suffered early in the year and partly due to the influx of other talent... Lopez is a three time champion and winner of the first three annual tournaments held in January. His quest to win the gold back from Chimera was stoppe through injury, then a friendly rivalry with Luis Montero turned sour as both men cost each other chances. Now firmly set as a rudo he has aligned with recent debutant Marcos Flores and manager Cuervo (Manager of the Year, though largely not with us) seems set to perhaps add Magnifico to the group. Isn't afraid to cheat to get back to the top of the mountain.

33 (up from 188) Tijuana Vampire: Part of the Army of Darkness (now consisting of Soul Taker, himself and Mexican Ghoul) has marched through the company all year with spectacular entrances, blood letting and viciousness. Was the first ever WAM tag champion with Mexican Ghoul (due to an injury to former partner Del Muerto) in March but momentum has petered out somewhat since then... main rivals now seem to be Super Star and a string of tag partners, with the Phoenixes being the strongest enemies so far, with Mayan Idol and Verdugo Estupendo also recently debuting and adding a supernatural flair to the good guys.

37 (up from 168) Rafael Ruiz: Half of perhaps the finest team in the company, Mateo Iglesias shockingly decided to leave the company recently leaving him on his own. A rugged submission based grappler, he may be on his way to a great singles run in the near future as a very different kind of opponent.

46 (up from 166) Soul Taker: Unofficial leader of the Army Of Darkness, Soul Taker is a phenomenally gifted technician who is growing in confidence on the microphone too. Big things are expected of him though he has mostly had midcard/uppercard rivalries so far so not had a true chance to shine.

47 (NEW ENTRY) Mexican Ghoul: The latest member of the Army Of Darkness, he's the weakest link but looks cool as... something cool. One for the future.

60 (up from 271) Mateo Iglesias: No longer with WAM as he decided he wanted to leave (perhaps due to 4 years of time decline). Had A* tag experience with Rafael Ruiz before he left, he's now one of the hottest free agents despite being 40 and on decline.

66 (up from 288) Del Muerto: Spent 8 months of the year with me before leaving, I was surprised to see him to high on the rankings as most of our best stuff came after he left. :o A solid talent, he just wasn't that good on his own and the Army of Darkness needed to lose one member to avoid NWO Syndrome.

67 (up from 144) Caras Colleccion: In here largely without WAM, he debuted in December to take part in the largest major tournament in lucha libre. A trios champion in SOTBPW and one of the best talents in Mexico, he is expected to make a major impact soon and has qualified for the second round of the tournament.

70 (up from 178) Marcos Flores: Young, exciting, talented... and he knows it. With his beatiful girl Cuervo and new friend Nicolas Lopez, his ego knows no limits as he looks to build his reputation even further with WAM.

77 (up from 231) Aguila Jr: The son of the boss, Aguila Jr is a talented wrestler who has spent much of the year with a nagging injury. Formerly friends with Nico Lopez, he was turned on and then allied himself with loyal WAM wrestler Arana Zafiro Jr. The two have showe excellent chemistry and could well be tag champions in future as it has helped their careers greatly.

79 (up from 346) Super Star: A youngster who continues to defy expectations and perform well despite being firmly in the midcard pack... fun loving and with Lucia by his side, he has made it his personal mission to take down the evil Army Of Darkness and his various allies seem to be helping him turn the tide.

81 (up from 127): A recent WAM addition who teams with Verdugo Estupendo (Torque), the former OLLIE and SOTBPW champion has made his prescence felt with his ulta physical style of brawling. 2000 could be a big year for him as the coolest mask in the world turns things up another notch.

88 (up from 480) Zenith Jr: Half of an exciting young team with Pinaculo Jr, he has slowly been proving himself as a tag performer in midcard rivalries and has recently added OLLIE to his commitments.

92 (up from 374) Arana Zafiro Jr: On the verge of being released when Nico Lopez turned rudo, Zafiro seeme lost for a while before finding a new ally with Aguila Jr. This has seen him come along in leaps and bounds though he has yet to get the major win to cement his name as one of the top stars.

97 (NEW ENTRY) Daniel Santiago: The self styled gang boss, Santiago has had Flex & Pecs as his hired muscle for a while before a brief alliance with Rafael Ruiz and Mateo Iglesias. Clearly a big potential star, he has yet to accomplish so much if he can just find his niche. Protege of Luis Montero, who regularly passes on psychology tips.

102 (up from 205) Ryoma “Rocket” Muruyama: The PGHW homegrown star is a great talent who seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle as the WAM roster grows. His team with Haru Kurofuji has not helped either man and it seems like a matter of time before Rocket snaps and brings out his dangerous and illegal head drop suplexes to put himself back on the map.

117 (down from 112) El Bandido: A recent debut in WAM who actually lost his first round tournament match to El Critico.... he is one of the finest talents around and is certain to not take this loss peacefully, though how he will retaliate is as yet unknown.

128: Pinaculo Jr

129: Domino (on time decline, only here short term)

145: Haru Kurofuji

149: Magnifico

155: Phoenix II

163: Phoenix III (Feliciano Macho)

189: Kashmir Singh (nicest guy in the world, has made many friends thanks to meddling and makes my backstage happy)

191: Flex (aimless midcarder, going to push his team with Pecs soon to see how they do)

197: Pharaoh King

199: Pecs

209: Atlantis Jr

211: Torque (Verdugo Estupendo)

219: Area51 Jr

229: Inca Jr

292: Jose Montero (jobber team)

307: Power Flame (jobber team, has potential though)

371: El Jabroni (jobber)

373: Lorne (jobber)

394: Mexican Ninja (Jobber, terrible, not sure how he made it here)

As for myself, I rolled “24. "Top Rope Hero" You have devoted your holiday season to training in the ring +5 to Aerial skill ", which is handy I suppose but also not really necessary as it's one of my secondary skills. Would have much preferred something to boost my star quality as I'm still not moving there and I'd like to go up a weight class if possible one day to help with my physical skills a bit too. So here are my skills year on year....

I still can't believe I'm ranked at #14 in the world... when I was a kid I always wanted to be a wrestler but I never thought I could do it. Mexico has given me the chance and not only am I held in high estemm in front of the camera, I have built a huge reputation behind it too. I don't know where we will go next but now that I speak the language I realise how bad of a name WAM is for the company... I may have to think about that, we have enough stars her to build a galaxy and enough talent to prove we are the best in the world. Hooded Kudo (wrestler and tag team of the year) and BHOTWG... we're coming for you!

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">End Of Second Year</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

PGHW won Company Of The Year... but somehow went bankrupt in the final month of the year! Must have owed money to the Yakuza. That means that despite being named Wrestler Of The Year with 10 A* rated matches and a neat average of A, Nobuatsu Tatsuko is now unemployed. </p><p> </p><p>

In the US, SWF continue to amass an insane roster that now boasts James Justice, Sean McFly, Chris Caulfield, Brent Hill (also booker), Wolf Hawkins, Tyson Baine, Ricky Dale Johnson, Eddie Peak, Eddie Chandler, Rick Law, Troy Tornado and Tim Westybrook. Yeah, TCW have Tommy Cornell and Peter Valentine on their books and that's about it.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Project X Wrestling In The Power 500!</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Marc Speed didn't make the grade after only working eight matches in the year. He averaged C, but he's paid $600+ per appearance so sometimes I leave him off shows to try and make a profit. I'm frustrated because he's the kind of guy that needs to be signed by a major promotion right now. He's too good which means he's too expensive for me but nobody else is hiring the guy so of course it makes sense to keep him on my books. Once I grow a bit more I'm sure he'll be a god send because he pulls in consistent B-level match grades. The only issue is that he has bad chemistry with my top guy Raphael which means the two can't have the kind of rivalry that I wish they could have.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>454 - Jeremy Jazz</strong></p><p>

<em>I was close to letting Jazz go but he's made steady improvements and is now giving me E+ match performances. He's decent enough for the under card but too inconsistent for a sustained push even in a local promotion.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>451 - TJ Bailey</strong></p><p>

<em>Like Jazz, Bailey is always steadily improving. He's mainly cannon fodder at this point, he puts over Heels that are going for title matches. Bailey did impress in a title match against champion Raphael, a performance that probably saved his job because I don't have to pay his downside when I don't use him and I know I can safely go back to that match in the new year.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>448 - DeCipher</strong></p><p>

<em>Found himself losing to Idol three times as well as a defeat to Raphael. That's about all he did to be honest... I've been moderately impressed by his work but his attitude stinks. Once he improves his attitude I can justify giving him a bit of a push.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>390 - Jordan Joyce</strong></p><p>

<em>I worked Raphael as a face then turned heel on him. </em><img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><em> I've improved to be a top guy in PXW and I'm looking forward to working Brendan Idol and new signing Lightning Lomas in the new year. I'm bad at running this cocky gimmick but hopefully I'll get better at that and playing a heel so I will be of better use to a bigger promotion in a few years time.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>366 - Brendan Idol</strong></p><p>

<em>Signing to USPW may have actually hurt his chances of placing higher. Their pop > performance product means he's mainly worked E grade matches there as opposed to C grade matches he's worked for me. With a face champion, Idol has to had to settle into the role as the secondary face star and he's been lost in the shuffle for most of the year.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>316 - Raphael</strong></p><p>

<em>Clocked higher than the Indie Wrestler Of The Year who didn't even make the Power 500, explain that one. Raphael is my top guy, he can carry literally anybody and now averages B to B+ match performances. He held the Project X Prodigy title for the entirety of 2007, retaining against Marc Speed at Chapter 25. I'm stunned that nobody has come in for him but I guess the fog of war scouting levels is keeping him off SWF and TCW's radar. A great talent, he's in no danger of being usurped as the king of the mountain any time soon. </em></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">End Of Year Roll</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>18. "Fists of Fury" You have devoted your holiday season to training in the ring +5 to your Brawling skill</em></p><p> </p><p>

Considering the stat was at 43 beforehand, that's quite nifty. I'm progressing just fine, perhaps better than Derek above me. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

ThunderLance Wrestling</p><p>

End of 2016 (Year 1)</p><p> </p><p>

ThunderLance Wrestling continues a modest gain after hitting Small. Now that we are subject to regional battles, our growth has been hampered, but not stopped. Teddy Powell was brought in, and has been a huge success as both the star of the promotion and a locker room leader. Logan Wolfsbaine, Laura Flame, and Avalanche Takano have continued their good work, while Justice Jolson and Hawkeye Calhoun are starting to develop a following as well. Amy Galaxy has sadly fallen a bit off the pace, and Avalanche Takano has worked his last show before returning to Japan in a few days.</p><p> </p><p>

I feel my stat gains are already starting to level off a bit, and that worries me. +3-6 points over the year in In Ring, 7-15 in Performance, 3-8 in Physical, and 12-15 in Entertainment (as well as 2 SQ and 7 sex appeal)</p><p> </p><p>

-<span style="color:#2E8B57;">Get $10k in the bank to keep the owner happy</span>: <em>Bit touch and go, but the time elapsed with 13k.</em></p><p>

-<span style="color:#FF0000;">Get my charisma/SQ/Pop up high enough that I make a decent choice for figurehead</span>: <em>Improved a lot, but not there yet, and not currently pushing to ME anyway.</em></p><p>

-<span style="color:#2E8B57;">Raise Stamina</span>: <em>Went from 40 to 48, which isn't quite great, but enough that I stop getting so many dings for it.</em></p><p>

-<span style="color:#2E8B57;">At least remain Small</span>: <em>Not only did I tread water, I actually made small advancements!</em></p><p>

-<span style="color:#FF8C00;">Bring in a locker room leader, and get morale up to 80</span>: <em>Teddy Powell filled the void nicely, and we made good strides in the morale department, but it's holding around 70, and may drop a bit when Takano leaves.</em></p><p>

-<span style="color:#2E8B57;">Upgrade production at least a bit to lessen the penalties</span>: <em>It's proven a tricky juggling act, but I was able to step it up a bit. Long way to go if I wanna stop getting those dings, though.</em></p><p>

-<span style="color:#2E8B57;">Make a big hire that I couldn't before. I haven't brought in anybody new since my initial hiring spree.</span>: <em>Teddy Powell! My BEST matches have been with Wolfsbaine, but he's consistently delivering as well.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Goals for next year:</p><p>

-Improve my performance in Regional Battles. Currently 3rd out of 3 usually, but sometimes I can edge out NYCW.</p><p>

-Continue building up cash flow and production.</p><p>

-Improve my In Ring.</p><p>

-Give myself a title run, and have it go well.</p><p>

-Put on a C- match myself.</p>

I'm in the year 2031 and everything went surprisingly well. So my question here is what to do after you've completed the challenge. My fed is at Global and my UC has been the champion twice at this level. So now what? I'm thinking about leaving and having my UC start a local fed and then repeating the process with some young protege but that seems like an odd move for a 32 year old who is on top of the world so to speak. I'm out of competition. I have all the big stars. Too many even. This is easily the most successful run at the Road to Glory challenge I've ever had but because of that I'm now unsure of where to go or what to do so early in my career.
