Even if you play as Booker he doesn't give you the wiggle room to compete with SWF or USPW. As the player you have to make sure you have some talent locked down and ready to build up. I usually tie up Eddie Peak due to him being a severely underrated talent. I usually get the title on him asap and he and Rocky Golden really does kill it in the promo's matches aren't spectacular, but they're good enough. While I have my premier feud going strong I try and build up my midcard and bring in talent like The Ring Generals, Ernest Youngman, Logan Wolfsbaine, Irwin Gutman, and Rock City Stars. I try my best to get these guys to a decent enough pop to place them solidly in the midcard along with others. Youngman is usually a breakout star no matter what and when Wolf and the gang begin being stolen you'd still have one helluva talent in your hands. TCW is in the real crapper.</p>

They bounce back. I'm in 2020 and watched the CPU spend 4 years losing all their stars.

They're rebuilt around Spencer Spade, Nelson Callum, Ernest Youngman, Sayeed Ali, and Matt Hocking. It's a blessing in disguise to lose the aging stars.

There is no way to win National Battles without hiring Marat.</p><p>

You should upgrade your PPV carrier right away from U-Demand to USA Free Choice.</p><p>

You should upgrade your TV from Pop TV to USA Sports 1 and pay the 1.8 million penalty.</p><p>

You should always upgrade your production to be equal to USPW and SWF.</p><p>

You should set up house shows for extra revenue/experience.</p><p>

You should set up a Medium Level Small Develepmental for $750k and stack it with future stars.</p><p>

You should fire Warlord Pain as a Road Agent and pay the penalty for it to bring your backstage rating up 2 points. You should also remove the dress code for another 2 points.</p><p> </p><p>

Is there any other tips anyone would like to add?</p>

If you're setting up a developmental territory anyway, you might consider sending Warlord Pain and any other problematic or extra workers down there to work instead of eating the cost of buying out contract. They would at least be of some use down there and out of your hair.

  • 2 months later...

Really enjoying my TCW save. Just finished a 96 rated "Hotter than Hell" with a 99 rated "Wolf Hawkins vs Rocky Golden World Heavyweight Championship" main-event and a 97 rated Opener 6 man tag team match.

I have cemented myself as the top and only National promotion in America. 6 of the 10 most popular American stars are in my company.

The biggest signing I have made was Champagne Lover who I hired for $125k a month plus some other incentives. He seemed to be a very good signing until he left for a movie. He only had 3 matches for us (2 of them were rated 99) and will be away for a year.

At the beginning of the save I signed Marat Khoklov to stay gain an upper hand in National Battles. Although his matches weren't as good, his menace helped tremendously in building up stars. He helped Rocky Golden to mid-90s, pushed Sammy Bach to 90+ and Buddy Garner to a Mid Carder and eventually International Championship. He himself had 90+ pop until his recent loss to Sammy Bach.

I have also poached Atomic Smasher, Jungle Jack and Spencer Spade from SWF. Jungle Jack has received a good push and is at mid 70's. He will eventually be a gatekeeper for someone I'd want to push later.

I have lost the bids for Nicky Champion to SOTBPW before I took Champagne Lover off their hands.

Wolf Hawkins and Sammy Bach have been phenomenal for me. And they Good chemistry between them. Furthermore, they also have good tag team chemistry with Aaron Andrews and RDJ respectively.

Aaron Andrews on the other hand, is a bit of a disappointment. His Pop is capped at lower 80s. However he is expected to be one of the best workers in terms of performance and he does have great chemistry Rocky.

Eddie Peak is someone who deserves a shout. He has helped other workers gain pop and he himself is sitting in the 90s. The same thing can be said about RDJ. Despite my attempt to de-push him, he actually gained popularity. However, he is 7 years into age decline and his matches do suffer.

I haven't let many workers leave the roster. Darryl Devine and Vita are the only workers who left the Company. Guys like Jeremy Courtney, Killer Shark and Titan were sent to my Dev Territory instead.

Now I have a huge roster at my disposal and many of my workers in the Dev territory are asking for a call-up. My dev territory should become regional by the end of this month and after the next PPV I think I'm going to do a brand split. I'm going to have 5 events which are going to be shared by the brands and each brand will have 7 events each. It would be really great if someone could point me to some TCW logos and give me some suggestions for event gimmicks.

Just started my first serious save with the C-Verse (I have always been a real-world gamer). The choice fell on TCW, with whom I have had a few unsuccessful tries before. January is in the books, and Malice in Wonderland got a 90-rating, which I am very happy with. Andrews retained the World title over Golden, when Khoklov made his debut by interfering. That leads to a Khoklov-Golden feud, while Andrews will feud with Joshua Taylor for the following months.

I have a development fed set up, but half the people there already wants to be called up :p I have plans on re-introducing the All-Action title at Total Mayhem, and also start a women's division down the line.

Here's to a hopefully successful long-term save with TCW

Good luck, they have three of my favorites (Andres, Golden, and Hawkins) but I also struggle to make a game stick because I don't like most of their roster lol

Yeah, most of their roster doesn't appeal to me either... But I can make it work. Lost a few bidding wars to USPW, but managed to get some fresh young talent in development, plus I beat USPW for Ross Henry's signature. He'll debut with a feud against Jay Chord.

I've called up Fro Sure to the main roster, and he'll get a decent push with an International Championship title reign to his belt... Then I'm going to repackage him as Afro Tiger (downloaded a great pic by Asaemon), a "hero" in a tiger mask with an afro <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Just signed Hannah Potter from SWF (as they didn't offer her a new deal), and I thought she could be signed as manager to one of my midcarders. Her very high sex-appeal and popularity should make for some good angles with her client, helping him get more over. Not sure who she should manage yet though.

<p>So awhile back I decided to change up TCW and make it a Pop>Perf company. Now 2 1/2 years later, I just finished up Total Mayhem 22 (It was a 7 hour show) and it got me my first 100* show (Here are the results below). The roster is pretty big and we're the #1 company in the world, so I decided to bring back Saturday Night Showcase and make a brand split between SNS & Total Wrestling. Its now been 1 year since the brand split.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<p>I know from experience. 7 hours is too much. I dozed off during Rollins/HHH. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm working on TCW right now, and I'm a year in. I paid the price to move my shows to Reverie, bought PGHW, and am planning on waiting for 21CW to fail.</p><p> </p><p>

Right now I have a bloated roster and am planning a brand split after Malice in Wonderland. Sammy Bach was called to Hollywood for a movie, so I had KC Glenn put him out of action while I push him to the main event with his tag partner, John Greed. BHOTWG gave Glenn one match in six months to start the game, so I was glad to pry him from them. I really despise Burning Hammer. </p><p> </p><p>

Rocky Golden is my figurehead and I plan to ride him until he breaks down. My big acquisition was El Leon from South of The Border and it's like I signed a younger Tom Gilmore. I wonder if I can tag them together when Gilmore's contract comes up....</p><p> </p><p>

Right now, my top feuds are Wolf/Rocky and El Leon/Marat Khoklov. Also, I'm getting great success from Ross Henry vs. KC Glenn. Ross is a project of mine, and his time in development really paid off. He's reminds me a bit of Rocky. He currently lacks starpower as I had him go up a weight class and he's just shed the flabbiness and hopefully becomes toned once again. It's nice to call up a guy with 70 popularity and immediately have him step into main events with amazing momentum from his time in development.</p><p> </p><p>

Still, I have a lot of PGHW guys to work into the roster and bloated developmental where I'm considering creating another territory to move guys around in to help their popularity before they come up, since a network is a long way off.</p>

But I just have too many popular guys that are too over to just put in a multi-man match.</p><p> </p><p> Also KC Glenn is gold. He can never have a bad match and he's at the top of Show Stoppers, and Ring Generals for me. He's Muscular now so his star quality has jumped to 100. Hopefully he can rise to 100's across the pop board. That and improvement on his charisma, and i think he may be my next figurehead. I need one desperately as Rocky Golden is being overshadowed by charismatic workers, unfortunately i think by Total Mayhem 23 he will be out of the figurehead position before he has a negative effect.</p>

<p>I'm on the fastlane toward Total Mayhem, where Golden and Khoklov will end their 4-month long feud. They have one win each (count-out and DQ) and a draw to their name. Their Mayhem match will be some sort of No DQ match which will end in a pinfall win for Golden. </p><p> </p><p>

Andrews will defend his title against Sammy Bach, who won a four-way match to become #1 contender, while on the undercard Marc Speed will defend the International title against Ross Henry.</p>
