Jaysin Posted June 27, 2016 Share Posted June 27, 2016 Is it plausible to use the PPV schedule WWF was using at the time? From Jan to Aug what I was doing was running monthly SNME's when I didnt have a PPV that month and was making some pretty good money. Decided to just try running the five PPVs (Mania, KOTR, Summerslam, Survivor Series, Rumble) and started losing money fast. Should I just run monthly PPVs? Similar to RatedRKO's suggestion, I'd run the five big PPVs and then in the off months have "In Your House" shows. As for Rocky Maivia being a WWF owned name, I don't know the reality of their trademark on that, but the way I looked at it was that Rocky Maivia is simply a combination of his father's ring name and his grandfather's ring name, neither of which he WWF owns. I don't think they could actually enforce a copyright claim on Rocky Maivia at all. I don't believe there is a "right way" to do this, and I know I'm in disagreement with some very good mods on this, but I just don't believe in using real names where not appropriate for workers. My data, my rules, and there will be some kayfabe applied in some cases. I've actually thought about just changing him to The Rock. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I believe this may be a problem with people who are on the demo version of the game and need to update to the latest version. It's definitely not specific to the mod as this problem is not occurring with anyone that isn't on the demo that I've seen. (I actually can't replicate the problem myself) You may want to post it in the tech support forum to see what Adam says, but again, I think it's a demo issue. Perhaps disable Japan at startup?
