It was while ago that I wrote this show but I remember enjoying it. It was a big show in the Law/Trent feud and had the Cold Warriors/Trent weird group start that becomes a big storyline. Looking back now, an interesting statistic (at least for me) is that last week got a B+, and so far no PPV or episode of American Wrestling has ever gotten lower than a B+ ever since (now writing end of April) so I think these weeks that I'm posting now, in game wise, are the beginning of a really strong period for USPW.

Womens Tag Match

I also agree with Temes that I can't fully get behind Missy until she gets a decent gimmick (I think Temes called all the results pretty perfectly).

I'm taking my time with the womens division, trying to get a small group of them over in game and featured often in the diary, and then slowly add to that core group as opposed to just bringing in all the best women and hoping it clicks. Missy Masterson is someone I think has potential but hasn't had any development at all really. Hopefully it will change.

James Justice and Casey Valentine defeated Thatcher and Tribal Warrior

Nobody got this wrong, I think on the A show at least, Thatcher and Tribal having a match is code for squash. Justice/Casey feud is a bit of a strange one, because in my head it get fleshed out and I like how it ends. But a lot of it is based on the B show so the diary itself only gets part of it in any detail which is a bit of a shame but hopefully it still gets interesting. In a way though I prefer it like this, it means taking the 20 seconds to read the B show summary is worth it, as it can develop main storylines and slowly it starts to get stories of it's own.

Another perfect call with the faking an injury. Trent basically goes through the whole cowardly heel playbook over the course of the feud. Hopefully the injury faking-then d.q-then restart-then interferance create some drama.

Most got this right, and Jay had a good reason to get it wrong. It's a good point about Frehley losing back to back. But in general I like to think that Frehley is book dominantly, I don't think he could have lost the match in any more dominant fashion that putting Rich through the table.

EDIT: forget that, it's weird I'm almost certain I booked that match as techincally a messy sports entertainment draw but the game put it as a win for Frehley and Money, don't know whether that was DQ or if I made a mistake in game. Either way I'll give you all the point as you all sort of called the ending and it was me who messed it up.

That is quite the mix of names...I assume this is Ducont looking for a potential teammate? Either way, the two dominant teams get the win.

I hope Force ends up grabbing a young gun as a tag partner to liven up the tag division some. He is heading down the card, especially as a singles competitor, and gets to put Valentine over.

Nicky Champion vs Tyson Baine

Baine is becoming more of a tag competitor (which will help revitalize that division as he is a big USPW name), but here he is losing. I suspect Money is involved in some form or fashion.

Ape, one quick question. The last show ended with "Enygma Takes Down Frehley." I assume that was Money going through a table, but want to make sure since that might turn the tables as Enygma would have momentum instead of Frehley.

I think! This is the issue I'm havng with posting the shows a good few weeks after writing them is I can't always remember what I was thinking when I post them. Sometimes I book the show in game, then go back on after a few hours or even the next day to actually write it. And when I'm writing the shows it doesn't say what the description I wrote for it in the booking stage, if that makes sense. So I'm guessing here the initial plan was for Frehley to put Money through the table as part of the match ending, then Enygma to get one over on him post match, but I changed my mind and kept Frehley on top. As a side note, I'd like to think the shows I'm up to writing now have gotten a bit more organised! Will be posting the show soon. I enjoy seeing all of your reasoning for the picks. It's a good way of seeing whether you take from the shows what I'm trying to portray and how much sense my booking is making. Truth be told whilst I have enjoyed the build up to certain matches and some storylines I don't think as a complete whole it's been the best I can do booking wise, but rather than beat myself up about it I'm just enjoying slowing trying to improve it. Normally with a diary I take ages planning out the first few months but then once any initial plans are over I struggle keeping it going. This time I'm doing the opposite, I'm just concentrating on getting shows done and hoping things start to click properly. But I'll a post more in depth review of my booking/the diary so far after the next PPV I think. Will be posting the show soon

Thoughts

A shorter show than usual but some decent segments.

When I was looking at all your predictions and comments I was think oh god please say I gave Frehley the pin. I couldn't remember at all from when I wrote it. So when I came to posting it I was pretty annoyed at myself.

Still though! I stand by my decisions in a way, his record up this point has been 7 matches, 4 wins, 1 draw/dq/messy finish, 1 DQ loss at the 5v5 and 1 tag loss but he has never been pinned. Also most of his wins have been big (clean singles victory over Champion and Law) So although March hasn't been his best month, I'd like to think he is still a strong champion.

But all of you got the other 3 matches correct. I don't think there was anything too surprising as it's been pretty clear that Force is being pushed down the card and Baine has taken a bit of step down from the main event. Neither of these two things are neccesarily permament. I mean I can't see Force climbing back up high but it's all about momentum really, when the time is right I can definitely see Tyson getting one last shot at the belt, but whether he could actually hold it for a bit is a different question as he is 45 and in decline. But as Big Jay put it he is still a big USPW name so definitely has a place, mostly likely as he predicted in the tag division.

I kinda actually see The Force as Kane (past his prime, mid-to-upper card guy who's there to put people over) and Baine as Big Show (also past his prime, but can still believably work main event matches), so I agree with you there.

Shouldn't be that close with the Russians on a crash course with the "Good Guys." But I suspect that the belts will move sooner rather than later so they aren't tied up in that feud.

I'll admit I am surprised how much momentum Caufield currently has going for him. He might be positioning well for a potential title match as strong as he has been.

I'd think Henry would have a shot, but Moor is definitely the lesser of his team.

You aren't hotshotting it back to Valentine, but could it be a DQ to keep the fire burning there?
