<p>I must say I really enjoy the I AM AVATAR snippets. It's a unique thing I don't think I've ever seen done on these boards I don't think. </p><p> </p><p>

As for Running Wolf, in my USPW save he autonomously moved to a Ripped Heavyweight and it thus bumped his Star Quality to 89 plus he's already well rounded for me and it's no wonder he's in my main event.</p>

I think if it's done well it can stay worthwhile, if it is I'll be starting a similiar thing but for the next big heel instead. </p><p> </p><p> I could definitely do with Wolf doing the same for me! Anyone else have a big rise like that for you?</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Show Thoughts</strong></p><p> </p><p> I liked this show, I've had quite a lot of storylines build up slowly over the past few months (perhaps too slowly) but finally they are all starting to come to their conclusions so it feels like every angle is part of a decent storyline at the moment. I do want to start to take more time making it feel a bit more USPW-like if that makes sense. I'm used to playing as TCW mostly so it's taking me a while but I hope to get into the USPW grove. I know if I wrote longer shows, especially longer promos, I could build up the characters a lot better, but this diary has always meant to be more focussed on me playing the game and my thoughts on it. So it's important I get deep into the save and focus on the long term stuff more, the end of month thoughts are going to become more important and in general the direction of the company is going to outweight the individual storylines. But I hope as I get better at it I'll be able to cram as much USPW-style story within the line or two I get each segment. </p><p> Any thoughts on how this can be done though would be appreciated!</p>

I could definitely do with Wolf doing the same for me! He fits USPW, I just wish he was a few years younger, but if he learns plenty with Datsun he could have a similiar rise here. How long did it take him to reach your main event? Anyone else have a big rise like that for you?

Well I'm in Oct. of 2017 atm and he's hit Main Event sometime mid-year without that constant of a push, so if he's pushed solidly he could rise quicker than that if all the stars align. Joss Thompson is one name you don't want to overlook, Currently he's one of the people contributing to my national battles point-wise. He also has the same star quality as Champion.

Your choice to protect the business or however you had it phrased may come back to bite you in the tail if you don't modify it somewhat or you have random workers set on the highest setting. If you are unlucky you can have a lot of your upper tier guys already on time decline. Justice and Caulfield are almost a guarantee to be on decline 9 times out of 10. Money,Law,Jumbo, and Enygma will hit it sooner than later if they don't start out with it and many of them are your starting national battle contributors. I'm not suggesting signing up every single potential you see, though just to be careful you don't hamstring yourself with an arbitrary rule, Ultimately you are the one in control after all. Just my opinions, feel free to ignore if you like.

Otherwise enjoying it all and more than willing to share experiences playing USPW.

I flipped a lot on this one and thought a draw might be the end result. But I think Shaffer sacrifices his new friends and sneaks out while the faces grab the win, setting off a new feud with Moor/Henry and Thompson/Jones. Those matches should be quite entertaining.

T-Rex is sliding (or perhaps dropping) quickly down the card. But a last title match is a nice way of sending on another legend.

Got lost by being the last comment of the page. </p><p> </p><p> That's interesting about Wolf as I didn't see that much potential. Joss is someone I could see reaching the main event but perhaps never being 'the guy', although I'd love to be proven wrong by him. </p><p> </p><p> You're definitely right that 'protecting the business' is likely to hurt me in the long run. I'm really lucky in that I haven't been hit too hard with time decline. Krusher Karloff is the only regular roster member that is deep into decline. Justice and Tyson are both past their best but they are yet to lose stats (last time I checked anyway). So hopefully it's not an urgent issue but you're right that really I need to be signing. Thing is protecting the business was decided on by the readers in a poll and so even if it does limit me, I sort of like that as that's the point in the polls. Although that policy didn't come into affect until April in game as that was the point I was up to when I did the poll. So from January/April I did sign youngsters for developmental so hopefully that gives me enough of a talent pool.</p>

I enjoyed Peter's return to USPW, it's unlikely going to be long-lived, but it was useful in getting just a litle bit more out of the Justice/Valentine storyline.

The Dusty/Smooth/Cartier storyline is most likely going to be a long burn. I'm not sure yet if it's going to end up with Cartier leaving Dusty for him, only problem with that is I want to keep the tag team together and want to avoid Dusty becoming a sympathetic character. I wouldn't say I have completed the aim to revamp the tag division yet, but it's promising that there are plenty of teams now. It gives the B show some natural match ups

So next up is the go home show for Freedom Fight: Trouble In Toronto, will be posting the final IAMAVATAR before he debuts in about a month from now. Working now on a post focusing more on the in-game stuff and reviewing the past few months.

<p>Decent show grade-wise as the whole 2nd half pulled good grades. I shouldn't be surprised anymore but I'm consistently impressed with James/Casey, especially when they have Peter there to drag them down!</p><p> </p><p> PPV up next, and it's a big one for the diary. Some storylines end and the big summer story kicks off with a bang. </p><p> </p><p> It's also when some of the backstage changes that you voted on early in the diary begin to affect stuff and you'll see what I mean with an upcoming post after the PPV. In general though I've shortened the gap in between my writing and my posting. This way when you vote on things, you don't have to wait ages to actually see it happen. He even openly talks now in promos whereas he had previously been almost entirely silent. <strong>Freedom Fight: Trouble In Toronto </strong></p><p> </p><p>

For the first time ever a USPW PPV comes live from Canada! </p><p> </p><p>

The opening match will see an American against a Canadian, but don't expect the fans in attendance to side with 'their' guy as while <strong>Tyson Baine</strong>'s passport might say he is Canadian, hell has no borders, and this demon isn't going to feel any emotional connection with his fellow countrymen. It's an intruiging match up as nobody knows what to expect from <strong>Ross Henry</strong>. He's definitely impressed since debuting, but putting your money on a guy who has JUST joined the sport over a veteran like Tyson would most likely be foolish. </p><p> </p><p>

It's also a big night for the womens division as there is the potential for the whole landscape to change. Similiar to the opening match, we see a young rookie going up against an established vet as <strong>Alina America</strong> challenges <strong>Raven Robinson</strong> for the belt. But both women will certainly be watching <strong>Alicia Strong</strong> face <strong>Tiffany Jade</strong>, as not only do they have personal links to the match but it's likely that the winner will be in line for a title shot soon enough. </p><p> </p><p>

Speaking of titles, the National Title is on the line as <strong>Rick Law</strong> gets another shot at <strong>Trent Shaffer</strong>. He has had to beat the clock to earn this and yet with The Russians in the building it's impossible to assume this will be a fair fight. Perhaps The Russians will be busy with their title defence as <strong>The Towers of Power</strong> get one final shot at <strong>The Cold Warriors </strong>. Will they make their final chance count or will The Russians and Trent manage to keep hold onto their dominance. </p><p> </p><p>

The night will take a turn to the extreme when <strong>Chris Caulfield</strong> takes on the monster <strong>Atlas</strong> in a Last Man Standing Match. Chris is certainly brave to have requested this match only weeks after an ankle injury allowed Atlas to defeat him. Will he redeem himself or it finally the time for Atlas to rise up as a true force in USPW?</p><p> </p><p>

All eyes will be on the massive main event which sees <strong>Steve Frehley</strong> defend his title against 3 other men. <strong>Enygma</strong> hasn't held the title in 2009 and is hungry to prove that he still belongs on top, he might have impressed many by pinning <strong>Marat Khoklov</strong> but<strong> Rich Money</strong> is confident that he will be the man walking out with the belt. A big question mark hangs over this match an the night in general, will The Cold Warriors and Trent Shaffer get involved? Trent has spoken about a deal going down but if their intentions are to walk out with the belt they have a real problem in the shape of 'The Baddest Man on The Planet' Steve Frehley who has proven to be able to step up in order to hold onto his title. </p><p> </p><p>

Ross Henry vs Tyson Baine

Henry has the popularity and might take this, but the story between these two teams isn't over (I think) and this fuels the fire.

I agree with michgcs that Shaeffer is on a roll, but not quite ready to make the step up to ME.

Alicia Strong vs Tiffany Jade

This puts Strong in line for a title match with Robinson. Spoiler alert: I'm picking Robinson.

This could go either way, but I think the Cold Warriors are getting enough help in the big feud with Khoklov. I think moving it to the Towers lets the heel teams (American Cowboys and Jet Sets) get into the mix as challengers against Towers.

Last Man Standing Match: Chris Caulfield vs Atlas

I like giving Atlas a chance to show something against Caufield, but Caufield isn't putting over youngsters just yet.

Honestly, the way you've booked Alina, this could flip hands regardless of the other match. But I think the Alina/Alicia story is on a slow burn while you have a Robinson/Strong feud that can elevate the ladies division sitting right there for you.

Frehley will get a shot against Khoklov and Money individually soon enough, so the belt stays put.
