<strong>Hopefully the champs pull it out. Not a huge fan of the non-title match going to the non-champs just to set up a match, unless of course it is by nefarious means or DQ/CO</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jonnie Perez</strong> vs. Jackpot Jordan</p><p>

<strong>Tough match to call and the story between the three is intriguing. Let's see what Idol does around this match.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>If I'm Fox Mask I do not trust Harry Allen to hold up his end of the bargain. </strong></p><p><strong>

Not sure why I have Harry being such a cad in my mind but I do</strong></p>

<strong>The American Cobras (Jimmy Marvel/Storm Spillane) v. Al Coleman & Waylon Walls</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

No surprise here that Marvel and Coleman want to start things off and that there is a fair deal of niggle between them. Britney Hollywood tries some of her usual tricks to try and distract the Cobras, but they seem to be well enough focused and easily able to ignore her.</p><p> </p><p>

The co-ordination and trust levels between Coleman and young Waylon Walls take a hit fairly early on when Coleman tags himself in just when Walls seems to have the upper hand on Marvel. Coleman gets a dirty look for his troubles and then rolled up into a small package when he goes down to cover, but he is able to kick out at two and re-focus. This parlays back into a segment later on when Coleman has Spillane down with a nasty DDT only to find that Walls hit a blind tag a few moments earlier and his lateral press gets a long two.</p><p> </p><p>

The disagreement continues with Coleman moaning at Walls about how he has cost them the win, but Walls has had enough, tags Coleman back in and lets him work. The pay-off comes when Coleman is back in trouble and Marvel and Spillane catch him in their corner for a period. Once Coleman gets free and both he and Spillane are down in the center of the ring, he is able to crawl across to his corner only to find that Walls has stepped down from the apron and is refusing the tag.</p><p> </p><p>

With Spillane able to make the tag to the fresh Marvel that means Coleman is in real trouble, and he falls to the Marvel Connection left hook very quickly, echoing the right hook that he had planted on Marvel the previous week.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Winners: The American Cobras (C-)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="OKvFwS8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OKvFwS8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> </p><p>

In the interview area we find Jonnie Perez.</p><p> </p><p>

“So Jake Idol thinks I took 'his' Tag Title away from him. Does he even listen to himself when he's making such ridiculous claims? It was me alongside Jackpot Jordan when we won the titles, not Idol. It was even me who scored the pinfall. Does he think that I'd just hand over the title and say 'here you are'? Some of us actually work for our rewards, not just have them handed over.</p><p> </p><p>

“But in any case, it's clear that Idol just can't handle me being there in his place and actually winning a title that he couldn't. That for all his so-called friendship with Jordan and their vaunted 'Rich and Famous' tag team it was somebody else who was alongside Jordan when those tag titles were won, and he's jealous. </p><p> </p><p>

“Jealous of my success. Jealous of my partnership with Jordan. Jealous of the simple fact that a real talent was able to get things done when he couldn't. Jealous that he's simply not as good as me.</p><p> </p><p>

“Jordan's wodges of cash might buy you more opportunities, Idol, but it can't buy you talent. It can't buy you wins of substance that really matter. It can't even buy you the adulation of the fans that you seem to crave.</p><p> </p><p>

“So, whatever else happens, Idol, I'll see you at Surf Slam and we can settle this one-on-one, and I'll prove you don't have what it takes.” <span style="color:#000080;">(D)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="OKvFwS8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OKvFwS8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jonnie Perez v. Jackpot Jordan</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Regardless of Jonnie Perez's claims about his superiority over Jake Idol, what is evident here is that he isn't quite on the same level as Jackpot Jordan, despite the latter's fairly sporadic adventures into singles action over recent years. Perez lacks a certain... crispness... that Jordan possesses.</p><p> </p><p>

The exception to this is when he is able to take to the air, which is a fairly limited occurrence because of Jordan's control, and he does at one or two moments look as though he might pull this out of the fire, such as when his corkscrew senton finds a home on Jordan's upper body, though Jordan always seems to be aware enough to be able to kick out or be close enough to the ropes to prevent a three count.</p><p> </p><p>

The biggest surprise about this match is that there is absolutely no interference from Jake Idol, despite Perez's earlier comments, but then it isn't really needed for Jordan to come out on top here, which he does with a Cash In neckbreaker at around the fourteen minute mark.</p><p>

</p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Winner: Jackpot Jordan (D+)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="OKvFwS8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OKvFwS8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

And the inevitable happens <strong>after </strong>the bell has rung, with Jake Idol charging down the aisle and joining Jackpot Jordan in putting the boots into the downed Jonnie Perez whilst they have the opportunity, as Jordan's real feelings for Perez come into play. Fortunately for Perez, someone in the back appears to have anticipated that this might happen and a couple of referees and road agents are quickly on the scene to pull the Rich and Famous team away. <span style="color:#000080;">(E+)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="OKvFwS8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OKvFwS8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Champagne Lover v. Fernandes Franklin</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Despite the disparity in experience here, Franklin is more than a simple pushover for the self-styled greatest wrestler in the world, and his improvements over the last few months have given him the opportunities to be able to hang with the likes of Lover on a more regular basis, as last week's tag encounter suggested. It draws a good reaction from the crowd here in Las Vegas, and turns into something of a decent affair, especially once Lover realises that he might actually have to work for the victory and starts taking his opponent rather more seriously.</p><p> </p><p>

To get his attention, Franklin hits him with a Spinebuster that knocks the wind out of Lover and gets quite a long two count from Matthew White which sets the light in Lover's eyes going a little more fiercely and, although it's never really in doubt who the winner will be, Franklin makes life very uncomfortable for the former Coastal Zone Champion, and generates enough respect from him to be the victim of both a Champagne Sunrise and a Lover Stunner before Lover actually covers for the pinfall.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Winner: Champagne Lover ©</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="OKvFwS8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OKvFwS8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

We cut backstage and see Remmy Skye walking down the corridor in his street clothes towards the parking lot, headphones on and head bobbing away to whatever it is he's listening to, when Dave Wallace comes flying into shot and Spears Skye to the ground, following up with several punches and elbows before leaping to his feet and grabbing a conveniently-placed two-by-four, with which he starts whaling away at Skye's ribs before shouts can be heard in the distance and a group of other wrestlers including both Wild Cats, Simon Waves and Chet Chavez come running towards them.</p><p> </p><p>

Wallace ditches the two-by-four and gives Skye a last kick as he lies groaning on the ground before racing off to his car and driving off with a screech of tyres. <span style="color:#000080;">(D)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Fox Mask & Harry Allen v. Greg Black & Lance Trueman</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

This ended up being a real mix of contrasts and issues rolled up into one match. Fox Mask and Greg Black had eyes ahead at their clash for the Coastal Zone Championship at CZCW Surf Slam nine days hence, yet Harry Allen's increasing cockiness gave the impression that he had the beating of all of them. Black seemed somewhat off his game here, yet he and Trueman gelled really well, looking especially smooth with tags and double teams.</p><p> </p><p>

There's also a really good mix of styles that mesh quite well, and all four men have all-round skill. When Black is in the ring there's a much stronger focus on mat work, but it remains entertaining throughout, and the fans even get behind Allen at points, such as when he hits a neat plancha on Trueman, or when his tag in is followed by a slingshot cross-body press onto a downed Black that gets a decent two count.</p><p> </p><p>

In the end it is Black who picks up the victory though, a really slick transition from a snap powerslam on Fox Mask into a neck wrench, then a backbreaker, and finishing off with the Fade to Black sleeper which sees the Champ's arm fall three times whilst Trueman is fending off an only semi-committed Harry Allen from breaking up the hold.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Winners: Greg Black & Lance Trueman (C-)</span></p><p> </p><p>

As we go off air, Peter Michaels notes that we will have yet another new Coastal Zone Champion if Fox Mask succumbs to the Fade to Black again at Surf Slam.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Overall Show Grade: C-</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Author's Notes</span></p><p> </p><p>

Apologies for the slight delay in getting this posted, and many thanks for all the (9!) sets of predictions and comments. Lovely to see some more newcomers.</p><p> </p><p>

Everyone correctly predicted that Champagne Lover would win (perhaps having noted my comment that I was having him put over too many opponents!), and everyone picked at least one other winner correctly as well. </p><p> </p><p>

So, with a full house this show, we have Smasher1311 and Historian. Then there is a big logjam at 3/4, comprising merrykieran2, Theheel, BHK1978, jameschaos and CobheadJake. And bringing up the rear with 2/4 were Martel123 and WilburTrey, who notably were the only ones not to favour the Tag Champions in their match (perhaps expecting some nefarious involvement, DQ or other reason for them losing).</p><p> </p><p>

There's another Lover Diary entry piece to come next - the longest since the start of the game - covering some significant International News.</p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="UTmpDDF.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/UTmpDDF.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

It has been what I can only describe as a weird and sad week in North American wrestling.</p><p> </p><p>

First up was the new that TCW's latest contract offers appear only to be looking at Pay-per-Appearance scenarios. We were approached by the agent for one current talent who had indicated that his client was definitely re-signing with TCW, but was also interested in taking dates for bookings with other organisations to supplement his income, and wanted to know if we were interested.</p><p> </p><p>

Well, yes, we were definitely interested – this particular wrestler isn't at the top of the TCW roster, but he's a genuine veteran with a name that can bring in extra fans to CZCW – but the question was always going to be around the sort of fee that the client was likely to demand, and whether that was within our budget. We've made an offer to the agent, and we'll have to see what comes back.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="WpOQfhc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WpOQfhc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:8px;">Whipper Spencer Marks in late 2015 backstage at a CGC show</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

On Wednesday, the news came through of the death of Whipper Spencer Marks at the age of 77. </p><p> </p><p>

Marks was one of the stalwarts of wrestling from the early seventies all the way through to the late eighties. Most of you that will have much knowledge of him will have come across him during his lengthy stint with old Canadian promotion CWF from 1975 to 1989, where he was a two-time CWF National Champion, as well as a four-time CWF National Tag team Champion alongside George DeColt as the Calgary Wolverines. He also wrestled with California Pro Wrestling in the early seventies, where he was a three-time Champion.</p><p> </p><p>

Most of you will also know him as a Hall of Fame inductee, and more recently as a former Road Agent and backstage legend with DeColt's Canadian Golden Combat. </p><p> </p><p>

The Calgary Wolverines are generally acknowledged as one of the best ever tag teams, with legendary status in Canada and around the world, and even in his retirement Marks was known for passing on help to aspiring young wrestlers whenever he showed up at an event – he was well liked throughout the industry and welcome pretty much anywhere with open arms, a rarity among the modern business and he will be sorely missed for his genuine love of wrestling and input to the industry, and for the generosity he showed to his colleagues, protégés, opponents, tag partners and other road staff.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="NSewOp1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/NSewOp1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:8px;">El Patron wows the masses at an OLLIE event in Guadalajara in May 1982</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Wednesday Night, the death of El Patron filtered through to the news channels here in California.</p><p> </p><p>

Those of you here in America will be less familiar with El Patron, but to we Mexicans he was as much a hero as Marks was to Canadians – you might compare him in his pomp with someone like Christian Faith in terms of the sort of following he has South of the Border. He was an OLLIE loyalist, which meant he did not always see eye-to-eye with owners from other promotions, but there is little doubt that he is the most revered wrestler that Mexico has ever produced. I stand aside at this point and feel humbled to even be able to make comparisons between El Patron and myself, but I may be forced to take some leave from CZCW over the next couple of weeks – I have been asked to stand as part of a guard of honor of Mexican wrestling greats as the funeral cortège passes into the Cathedral of the Assumption. </p><p> </p><p>

El Patron was OLLIE Campeanato del Mondo on five occasions between 1966 and 1989 – a career that eerily paralleled that of Marks to a great degree, and his championship reigns lasted a total of thirteen and a half years across those five reigns. All of Mexico will miss him, even though he has been largely absent from public life for more than twenty five years.</p><p> </p><p>

They say these kinds of things come in threes, and such it appears to be.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="J18yZt8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/J18yZt8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:8px;">A younger Richard Eisen early in the rise of his baby, the SWF</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Thursday saw the announcement of the death of the owner of the Supreme Wrestling Federation, Richard Eisen.</p><p> </p><p>

Eisen founded and ran the SWF from its inception in 1972. He was controversial in both his ruthlessness to build and maintain his business empire and his dealings with his employees. Long-time dedicated SWF staff and wrestlers, such as Peter Michaels, now at our own commentary desk, and Sam Keith were allowed to leave under rancorous and possible business-harming circumstances because of Eisen's unshakeable belief in his own direction and infallibility. Yet he was rarely seen on SWF Television, preferring to operate without the public profile that it would give him, and by all accounts could be personable and friendly on an individual basis, as long as it had nothing to do with SWF.</p><p> </p><p>

Eisen's death will have a much more direct impact on the wrestling world. SWF is still a strong Number 2 in America, and therefore essentially in World wrestling, despite the recent setbacks that have seen USPW overtake them. They continue to put out consistently good TV shows and Pay-per-Views, and continue to target their traditional audiences. It is likely that one of Richard's sons, Jerry and Eric, will take over the ownership or control of SWF, and that is likely to bring changes in some way or another to the company, simply because they are not Richard, and they have their own agendas.</p><p> </p><p>

Jerry's stints on commentary and in the back office would suggest that he is the more likely candidate, or at least that he is the more likely to have a good understanding of the business and therefore maintain the company along similar lines to his father and with an understanding of what makes the product attractive to their fans.</p><p> </p><p>

Eric, on the other hand, has been wrestling since 1996 in SWF, and there are questions as to whether he has been featured on merit, or whether it has simply been who his Father was that kept him in the limelight. A stint as SWF World Champion during the first half of 2010 was not especially popular, nor did it generate much in the way of critical acclaim, and there are strong rumour floating around that either he, or the level of push he was being given, was the reason why Rich Money and Steve Frehley left the company for USPW. That makes an Eric Eisen-controlled SWF a much less attractive place for wrestlers, but also raises questions about his business acumen in terms of what would be best for SWF as a company, rather than what might be best for Eric Eisen the wrestler.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Now you might think that this was plenty of news to be getting along with for one week, but for some reason, TCW World Heavyweight Champion Aaron Andrews also took Thursday to speak to one well known wrestling publication to declare that he was “the only thing keeping TCW afloat”, and that he was “carrying the company on his back”. Reaction from within the TCW camp is said to be furious according to members of the Coastal Zone roster who have been in touch with friends working there.</p><p> </p><p>

It's been a crazy week!</p>

CZCW Tonight!

Saturday 27th May 2016

Preview

Welcome to the final CZCW Tonight! of May as we put the final pieces in place ahead on Monday's Surf Slam event! We have two title matches tonight for your pleasure, plus a rare six-man tag match in the main event.

The first of those title matches will open the show, and will see Coastal Zone Xtreme Champion Tigre taking on one half of Notorious, Carlos Barrera. Barrera will need to keep one eye out for Flash Sparrow given their recent issues.

Tigre's regular tag partner El Jaguar will also be in singles action, and he will face the cocky Harry Allen, who has continually insisted that there's no wrestler here in CZCW that meets the standards he's used to. We'll see whether the Wild Cat can make him revise his opinion.

The second title match is a Coastal Zone Tag Championship encounter. With Jimmy Marvel already having an engagement with Al Coleman at Surf Slam, CZCW Management have decreed that Rich & Famous's title opportunity (no doubt influenced by Jackpot Jordan's wallet) will take place tonight, so The American Cobras will be defending the Tag Titles for the first time here in Flagstaff.

In the main event, the team of Champagne Lover, Dave Wallace and Coastal Zone Champion Fox Mask will be facing off against their individual opponents at CZCW Surf Slam: Frankie Perez, Remmy Skye and Greg Black. Black already has a submission victory over Fox Mask in tag action last week, so it will be interesting to see if he can repeat the threat here, and how the Champion can react.

In addition, there will be a short tribute to three icons of North American wrestling who all passed away this week.

Join us for this and more!

<strong>Tigre © v. Carlos Barrera</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

You'd expect something of a clash of styles here, and you would be right – Tigre's aerial acrobatics aren't a natural fit for an Xtreme Champion whilst Barrera's more straightforward brawling style is what you might expect to see. Nonetheless, Tigre utilises his flying quite nicely in order to deliver the sort of impetus to the blows that Barrera manages by swinging from the hips, so he isn't outclassed in the striking game.</p><p> </p><p>

The Wild Cat is, however, the better rounded wrestler, and despite the recent success of Notorious it isn't a huge surprise when the Bridging Tiger Suplex hits from the Champ and it's enough to keep Barrera's shoulders down long enough for the count, even if only barely.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Winner: Tigre (D)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Peter Michaels is in the ring with a microphone and is ready to address the fans.</p><p> </p><p>

“As many of you will know, we lost three icons of North American wrestling this week. Three men who had huge impacts on fans, wrestlers and companies involved in wrestling over the course of their careers and lives.</p><p> </p><p>

“As someone who knew all three men, even if only briefly, I'd like to take this time to say a few words about each.”</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="WpOQfhc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WpOQfhc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="NSewOp1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/NSewOp1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="J18yZt8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/J18yZt8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

In turn an image of Whipper Spencer Marks, El Patron, and Richard Eisen appears on the screen, and Michaels runs through the accomplishments of each and their impact on the wrestling industry, and adds a personal recollection of each man from his own experiences. There are a few boos around when it comes to Eisen, but Michaels quietens them down with an admonition to respect the dead, regardless of whether you liked them in life.</p><p> </p><p>

To close, Michaels asks for a moment of contemplation to reflect on the lives and careers of the three men, and after a few seconds this is followed by a ten-bell salute from the timekeeper. <span style="color:#000080;">(B-)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>El Jaguar v. Harry Allen</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The reaction to this contest is a little subdued, as you might expect after the previous segment, and for once Harry Allen doesn't go out of his way to tell everyone how much better TCW is than Coastal Zone.</p><p> </p><p>

Allen does, however, showboat rather more than is necessary, refusing to make a cover after the first time he hits the Savate Kick and motioning Jaguar back to his feet. Jaguar makes him pay for the arrogance with some nasty leg kicks and a springboard cross-body that gets two and sees Allen scrambling to escape the cover and get back to his feet. He takes it a little more seriously after that, and a second Savate Kick is followed immediately by the lateral press for the three.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Winner: Harry Allen (D+)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

We go backstage and see Jimmy Marvel loosening up in his locker room ahead of the Tag Title bout when there is a knock on the door.</p><p> </p><p>

“May I come in?”</p><p> </p><p>

“Sure.”</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="vQHAdaq.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vQHAdaq.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Willow sticks her head around the door and sees that Marvel is on his own.</p><p> </p><p>

“I just wanted to say thanks for sticking up for me against Al,” she begins, and is encouraged by Marvel's nod. “But I'd appreciate it if you'd let it lie. I realise that there's a bad taste lingering from the fact that he came out on top against Greg, but really, you should let me pick how I fight my battles rather than trying to intervene.”</p><p> </p><p>

Marvel nods again.</p><p> </p><p>

“Sure, but I'm only trying to help out,” he says. “ I don’t like to see him coming out of that with such a nasty smirk on his face, thinking he's gotten away with treatin' you like that.”</p><p> </p><p>

“That's great, Jimmy, but to be honest it's all in the past, and I'm really beyond him now. You keeping this going is really just prolonging things and making it more difficult for me to move on.”</p><p> </p><p>

Marvel contemplates that for a moment.</p><p> </p><p>

“Well, sure, I can see that, I guess. Well, if you sure about it, I'll let it lie after Surf Slam, win or lose.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Thanks Jimmy,” she replies, then gives him a quick hug before heading out of the locker room. <span style="color:#000080;">(D+) </span></p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

<strong>The American Cobras (Jimmy Marvel/Storm Spillane) © v. Rich & Famous (Jackpot Jordan/Jake Idol)</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Two strong tag teams with lots of experience together make this an interesting clash. The Tag Champs look a little more up for this today than the challengers, which is a bit of a weird situation, but Marvel and Spillane's recent performances do suggest that their development is progressing quite nicely and they'll continue to be a force to be reckoned with as time goes by.</p><p> </p><p>

Jordan does make an impression on Spillane (or at least on his head) with a massive DDT that looks as though it would have gotten a three-count from Pee-wee Germaine had it not been for Marvel breaking up the pin, but that is the sole time that it looks as though they are likely to take the titles from the Cobras. If anything, Idol looks like he's the member of his side who is the stronger man, and who appears to be learning from the contest, but as it happens it's not enough.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="ETytxjZ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ETytxjZ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Inevitably it's Jonnie Perez that makes the difference. With Idol recently tagged in and trading blows with Marvel, Perez suddenly appears at ringside, and Idol's concentration is immediately broken. Marvel takes advantage with a flash neck-breaker and tags Spillane in to cinch in the Kneeling Boston Crab, whilst preventing Jordan from intervening. Idol taps urgently after a moment or two as the pressure on his back ramps up.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Winners: The American Cobras (C )</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

Flash Sparrow are in the ring, and they have a table set up. Matt Sparrow still has his ribs taped up from earlier in the month.</p><p> </p><p>

“I'm not one to mince words, so let me make this clear.</p><p> </p><p>

“Notorious, you are quite welcome to come down to the ring for this, but it's entirely up to you.”</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="RsqIdxy.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/RsqIdxy.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="h38yars.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/h38yars.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Barrera and Rivera come out from behind the curtain, but stay at the other end of the aisle from the ring, and Rivera motions for Sparrow to get on with it.</p><p> </p><p>

“Close enough, huh?” Sparrow taunts. “Fine.</p><p> </p><p>

“I've been to CZCW management and they have approved a match between us at Surf Slam – a tables match, where you have to put both of your opponents through a table to win.</p><p> </p><p>

“Now I know that sounds fine to you,” he says, tapping his ribs, “but I just thought I'd get this out in the open so there's no ducking out at the last moment.”</p><p> </p><p>

Notorious look at one another and just shrug, then turn and leave. <span style="color:#000080;">(E+)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Champagne Lover, Dave Wallace & Fox Mask v. Frankie Perez, Remmy Skye & Greg Black</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

There's a lot of talent involved here, and in all sorts of different disciplines, and trying to keep up with everything that happens was a struggle, even for Peter Michaels. Slick tagging in and out was definitely the order of the day, with Lover and Wallace appearing not to want to be in the ring with Perez and Skye respectively at any particular time.</p><p> </p><p>

Obviously in a match of this nature that's difficult to arrange, even with the co-operation of tag partners, let alone when the other half of that combination is eager to get that particular battle to hand, so we see Skye and Perez almost desperate to get into the ring at various time, whilst Lover and Wallace are desperate to get out.</p><p> </p><p>

With all the shenanigans, it's little surprise that the match goes almost twenty minutes – and it's a real showcase of the best that CZCW has to offer. Skye's slingshot plancha onto both Fox Mask and Wallace on the outside is a thing of beauty, whilst the mat work of Black shows some sweet transitions, especially when Lover is also in the ring. On the other side, Fox Mask twice hits a moonsault, once on Perez and once on Skye, but is unable to get a three count with the ropes being too close in the first instance, and Black being ready to break up the pin in the second.</p><p> </p><p>

When the end comes it's with Dave Wallace and Greg Black in the ring. An exhausted Fox Mask has just tagged Wallace in, where he meets a drop-kick from Black that sends him back into the ropes, rebounding straight into a double-underhook face plant. Black transitions neatly into his Fade to Black sleeper hold, and with Perez preventing Lover from breaking up the hold and Fox Mask out of steam, Wallace is forced to tap before he is put to sleep like Fox Mask had been the previous week.</p><p> </p><p>

All the while, Black's eyes are locked onto the Champ's reminding him of what lies in store at Surf Slam.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Winners: Frankie Perez, Remmy Skye & Greg Black (C+)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Overall Show Grade: C</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Author's Notes</span></p><p> </p><p>

Once again, thanks very much to all those who nominated/voted for this diary for diary of the month - much appreciated. There's some decent competition out there at the moment.</p><p> </p><p>

A reduced field of five entries for predictions this time around, with four of you picking a full house of correct winners, and only Historian missing out on one prediction (to take a score of 3/4) by picking the Lover/Wallace/Fox Mask combo in the main event. </p><p> </p><p>

Next entry will be the preview for CZCW Surf Slam (hopefully tomorrow).</p>

But our hard-working team will be concentrating on bringing you a great show this evening, rather than their summer holidays, and we've got an outstanding line-up for you tonight.</p><p> </p><p> Top of the bill is the Coastal Zone Championship bout, which features eight-time Champion Fox Mask making the first defence of his current reign against the mat machine Greg Black. Black has wins in tag and six-man competition over the Champ in the last fortnight, and Fox Mask would be well to be concerned about the effectiveness of the Fade to Black sleeper that has taken both of those victories when they meet up tonight.</p><p> </p><p> To determine the winner's next challenger, our regular four-way contest will feature Remmy Skye and Dave Wallace, who have been at each others throats the last month or so, and who will need to take their quarrels elsewhere for resolution another time, alongside Going Coastal's Lance Trueman and the hugely confident Harry Allen. All four men have good arguments for being considered for the next title challenge, but it will take a special night from one of them to take the victory here.</p><p> </p><p> Former Coastal Zone champions Champagne Lover and Frankie Perez will go head-to-head with their issues still not resolved. The self-proclaimed greatest wrestler in the world was not happy about losing his Coastal Zone title to Perez, and has cast aspersions on Perez's ability to work at the top level, interfering in last months title bout to cost Perez the title himself. Convoluted? Well yes. Perez has been quite quiet about the matter, letting his work in the ring do the talking, but you can imagine he'll have words for Lover at some point.</p><p> </p><p> Speaking of Perezes, Frankie's brother Jonnie will also be in action. After weeks as Coastal Zone Tag Team challenger and then champion alongside Jackpot Jordan in place of the injured Jake Idol, the rivalry between Perez and Idol has come to a head. Idol has reclaimed his place alongside Jordan as part of Rich & Famous, but they were unable to reclaim the tag titles that had been lost to The American Cobras. Idol's and then Perez's interference in those latter two matches have set up tonight's bout, with a great deal of bad feeling between the two men.</p><p> </p><p> There's no Coastal Zone Tag Championship defense tonight, as American Cobra Jimmy Marvel is in singles action against Al Coleman. Marvel has taken offence at Coleman's misogynistic attitude over the last few months, and essentially has promised to teach him a lesson. Despite a plea from Coleman's former manager Willow to mind his own business, this bout still goes ahead, though Marvel has promised that this will be the last of it, win or lose.</p><p> </p><p> We'll also have an end to the feud between Notorious and Flash Sparrow tonight – there's been bad blood between these two teams for weeks now, and it culminated in Matt Sparrow being put through a table by Miguel Rivera at the first CZCW Tonight! show this month. Flash Sparrow's response has been to request, and receive, a tables match against their adversaries this evening.</p><p> </p><p> Finally, we have a special appearance. Defending the Confederation of the Territories World Heavyweight Championship will be Bulldozer Brandon Smith from New York City Wrestling, and he will be taking on Coastal Zone's own Super Ninja in his second defense since winning the belt from Nicolas Lopez back in March. We look forward to seeing how NYCW's best does here in CZCW against one of our best veterans. Oddly, Smith hasn't been a regular wrestler since parting company with Black Canvas Wrestling at the end of their last tour in March.</p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> Card for Predictions:</p><p> </p><p> COTT World Heavyweight Championship:</p><p> Bulldozer Brandon Smith © vs. Super Ninja</p><p> </p><p> Tables Match: Notorious vs. Flash Sparrow</p><p> </p><p> Jimmy Marvel vs. Al Coleman</p><p> </p><p> Jonnie Perez vs. Jake Idol</p><p> </p><p> #1 Contender's Bout:</p><p> Remmy Skye vs. Dave Wallace vs. Harry Allen vs. Lance Trueman</p><p> </p><p> Champagne Lover vs. Frankie Perez</p><p> </p><p> Coastal Zone Championship:</p><p> Fox Mask © vs. Greg Black</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong> Bonus point</strong>: a former TCW and SWF talent will make their début (in an angle) – who is it?</p>

Bonus point: a former TCW and SWF talent will make their début (in an angle) – who is it? I have to go with Elmo Benson maybe he attacks or aids his former tag partner.

<strong>CZCW Surf Slam</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

Anaheim, California</p><p> </p><p>

Attendance: 3700</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

As introductions are made, Peter Michaels and The Guru note that Cliff Anderson has given up his position at the commentary desk and will now be focusing more heavily on his role within the management of CZCW, though it's likely we'll still hear from him on a regular basis.</p><p> </p><p>

Michaels also reminds those latecomers to the arena that earlier on this evening Wild Cats beat The Gallaher Brothers in tag team action, and Storm Spillane won a three corners match with Fernandes Franklin and Jackpot Jordan by submission with his Kneeling Boston Crab.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Bulldozer Brandon Smith © v. Super Ninja</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

We start off with the COTT title match, and see what sort of reception the champion gets. It's pretty lukewarm, since he isn't really well known out on the West coast, and they are far more behind Ninja, who is seen as a Coastal Zone stalwart these days, defending our territory.</p><p> </p><p>

It's also not really a match in the sort of style that CZCW fans have become accustomed to, either, with Ninja electing to match Smith blow-for-blow in something of a brawl. Ninja's experience comes to the fore with a number of excellent counters to Smith's best power moves, notably reversing an attempted fireman’s carry powerslam into a hard DDT followed by a neck crank, that causes Smith all sorts of pain before he breaks the hold by virtue of simply battering Ninja's ribs with his fists.</p><p> </p><p>

Perhaps Smith is a little rusty due to his lack of recent action, but he always looks one step behind the masked man, and it's Ninja who claims the title through a facebuster/Ninja Strike combination that puts the bigger man down for the three.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Notorious (Miguel Rivera/Carlos Barrera) v. Flash Sparrow (American Flash/Matt Sparrow)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Definite aggravation and contempt held between these two teams and Rivera in particular goes after the still-bandaged ribs of Sparrow at the earliest opportunity. Very little of the match ends up taking place within the confines of the ring as, like the title match preceding it, both parties were more than happy to make it a brawl, and a brawl that took place all over the arena.</p><p> </p><p>

Two tables had been set up near the entranceway, where the wrestlers came out from behind the curtain, and Sparrow and Barrera brawled their way in that direction whilst Flash and Rivera exchanged blows at ringside. Barrera attempted to back body-drop Sparrow through the table, but that turned out to be a mistake, and instead the momentum of the move was countered into a DDT on the floor. Almost dead weight, Sparrow attempted to lift Barrera and powerslam him, but his ribs wouldn't allow him to do so. He had enough strength to simply send him over the end of the stage and into the pit by the entrance stage about 15 feet below though.</p><p> </p><p>

The first elimination came out of the blue. Rivera launched Flash into the ring steps, dazing him, then propped him up against a table set up against the barricade. Flash avoided the subsequent attempt to Spear him through the table, and Rivera was able to halt his momentum sufficiently to stop going through it himself, but couldn't then evade a simple chop-block from Sparrow that made him overbalance and crash through the table head-first.</p><p> </p><p>

With Barrera still groggy from the earlier DDT and fall into the pit, Flash Sparrow worked together to keep him off balance, then laid him out onto a table with a side slam. The table didn't break, but the respite was only short-lived, as Flash climbed up onto Sparrow's shoulders and splashed onto Barrera's midsection to end the match abruptly, by two 'falls' to none.</p><p> </p><p>

We're backstage with Champagne Lover who, as usual, has something to say about his opponent tonight, Frankie Perez.</p><p> </p><p>

“Ah, Frankie! I'm sure you were delighted when Coastal Zone management accepted my offer to face you one final time tonight. Well you'll be far less delighted once you actually get into the ring with me.</p><p> </p><p>

“I'll be taking no prisoners tonight, and I'll be doing everything I can to win. That means, of course, that you have no chance at all, after all, as the greatest wrestler in the world I'm hardly likely to be losing to you.</p><p> </p><p>

“I consider your Coastal Zone Championship win merely a blip. You could not, after all, hold onto that title, could you?</p><p> </p><p>

“No, you will be just another stepping stone on my road to American wrestling glory. I will one day emulate the sadly departed El Patron and be more than a wrestling hero to my delighted Mexican public, be a God in their eyes, and really show America what a real Mexican wrestler can do.” <span style="color:#000080;">©</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jimmy Marvel v. Al Coleman</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Marvel is a man on a mission here, absolutely focused on making sure that there is no way that Coleman can escape without paying a full price, given the promise he made to Willow that this would be the end of things.</p><p> </p><p>

Marvel is on top from the very start, levelling Coleman with a massive lariat and going to work with some heavy ground-and-pound. Coleman tries all sorts of tricks to get out of the match. He tries running from the ring to get a ten count from Pee-wee Germaine to concede the count out loss, but Marvel tracks him down and forces him back into the ring. He tries to get disqualified by hitting Marvel with a low blow, but all it appears to do is to hurt his own forearm, as Marvel reveals that he's wearing a metal cut to protect himself.</p><p> </p><p>

Coleman tries eye gouging and Marvel simply tells Germaine to let it ride, and as the match wears on Marvel does more and more damage to Coleman. By the fifteenth minute, Coleman's face is busted open, he is trying to run away at every opportunity, and Britney has tried on several occasions to intervene, only for Germaine to send her back to the locker room screeching in indignation. Marvel is all over him and unloading with forearms, stomps and everything he can to put Coleman away for good, and has not even attempted to make a cover.</p><p> </p><p>

Eventually, Germaine has decided that he's seen enough. He warns both men that if Marvel won't make a cover and finish things off, he'll step in, and he does just that a minute or so later and decides to call the fight in Marvel's favour with Coleman no longer able to put up any sort of reasonable defence.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Winner: Jimmy Marvel (C-)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="OKvFwS8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OKvFwS8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jake Idol v. Jonnie Perez</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Another match, and another grudge, as these two finally go face-to-face in the ring for the first time in their feud which stretched back to when Idol was injured and Perez replaced him in a challenge for the Tag titles. It's a decent enough contest, but for some reason the crowd don't really seem to be into it – perhaps the anticlimactic ending to the previous match has brought them down.</p><p> </p><p>

Idol is the more rounded athlete here, able to brawl neatly as well as fly, and when he takes control with more mat work Perez does look a little out of his depth. That doesn't prevent the former Xtreme Champion from getting back into things with some rather underhanded tactics – hooking Idol into the ropes and launching some hefty knees into his midsection before Matthew White can force him away and release Idol.</p><p> </p><p>

Perez also hits a neat top rope senton, but goes to the well once too often when he tries it again and Idol gets his knees up into a position that make contact with Perez's back. A backbreaker and then a Reality Check later and Idol is able to pick up the victory with rather more ease than he may have anticipated.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Remmy Skye v. Dave Wallace v. Harry Allen v. Lance Trueman</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

A very even contest that sees all four men in with a realistic chance of winning at some point. Skye's main chance comes when he and Wallace have been brawling for a while, but Trueman and Allen were in the ring. Having put Trueman down hard with a Gunslinger's Revenge, Allen comes over the top and onto Wallace taking both of them out, and leaving Skye with the chance to put Trueman away with a flying leg drop, but he makes the mistake of covering too close to the ropes, and Pee-wee Germaine breaks the count when Trueman simply reaches his hand out.</p><p> </p><p>

Throwing Trueman out of the ring, he then doesn't see Wallace coming off the turnbuckle behind him with the Air Attack Drop-kick, and the subsequent cover gets two before Wallace is hauled off by Allen.</p><p> </p><p>

A succession of finishers from all four men eventually sees Allen in the ring with a groggy Trueman, and he puts the Going Coastal man down with a wicked Savate Kick, before going to the top rope and hitting a Flying Fist Drop. Wallace launches himself back in to break the cover, but Allen sees him coming and moves, meaning that the slingshot elbow hits Trueman instead, and bundling Wallace back out of the ring into the onrushing Skye, Allen has time to make the cover without further intervention.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Winner: Harry Allen (C-)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="OKvFwS8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OKvFwS8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Charging down the aisle comes a new face to Coastal Zone, but well known to fans of SWF and TCW over the years – it's Bart Biggins.</p><p> </p><p>

He slides under the ropes and starts pounding away on the fallen Lance Trueman until Germaine and bunch of other referees start hauling him off, and back up the aisle. <span style="color:#000080;">(D+)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="OKvFwS8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OKvFwS8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Champagne Lover v. Frankie Perez</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

After nearly twenty minutes of great wrestling and a decent crowd reaction this one still left a sour taste in the mouth. These are two men who really should be at the peak of what is possible in Coastal Zone, and the performances that they put on here tonight demonstrated exactly why that should be. Yet we were left thinking that perhaps this still isn't over after all.</p><p> </p><p>

Lover's Champagne Sunrise and Lover Stunner were not able to get the job done tonight, with Perez showing his amazing tenacity and resilience. Perez's P-Clutch and Perfect Parity could not get Lover put away either, with Lover's veteran instincts ensuring he always had an out – a reach for the ropes, a twist of something painful, a counter or a cheat to prevent Perez getting the three.</p><p> </p><p>

So the ending that we actually got was very much an anti-climax, and which nobody really wanted. Perez had the Perfect Parity locked in,, and Lover looked in a bit of trouble. For once the submission had been applied right in the middle of the ring, and a couple of attempts by Lover to crawl towards the ropes were prevented by Perez hauling him back to the center. Ultimately, the only way out for Lover was an eye gouge on the blind side of referee Germaine, which forced Perez to release his hold. Still clutching his eye, Perez didn't see one more Lover Stunner coming, but you still thought he'd kick out of the cover until you realised exactly how much leverage Lover was generating from his grasp on the bottom rope, and Perez couldn't kick out until after the count had been administered.</p><p> </p><p>

Lover was swiftly up in celebration and off back to the locker room before Perez could get up and complain. </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Winner: Champagne Lover (C+)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Fox Mask © v. Greg Black</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

All the build up to this match focused on the recent success that Black has had with his submission finisher, the Fade to Black sleeper, and you could sense right from the outset that Fox Mask had a game plan in mind that would keep him well out of the reach of the hold.</p><p> </p><p>

Mostly that appeared to be a case of preventing Black from working his mat game as much as he has been able to against other opponents, and to do that Fox Mask had to keep the pace of the match moving, and continue to hit big moves regularly to keep the former SWF Tag Champ off balance. If anything, that helped keep the fans invested in the outcome, almost as though Fox Mask was playing the David versus Goliath role that is more often seen in some of the bigger promotions with some of the behemoths that they produce for their main event.</p><p> </p><p>

Not that Black didn't have his moments, too. A couple of occasions saw the challenger break out some of his own aerial offense, with a top rope diving shoulderblock and a 450 Splash among the moves that got him a two count, and only after hitting them was he able to keep Fox Mask grounded and threaten to apply the sleeper. He even managed to get it locked in at one point, but poor head positioning left him open to a neatly executed jaw-jacker from the Champ, and he never got into position to re-apply again.</p><p> </p><p>

Fox Mask finally got his reign off to the best of starts when Black missed on another attempt at the flying shoulderblock and went face first into the waiting Cutter that Fox Mask rarely busts out. Following that and a Fox Hunter, the pinfall and victory were a matter of form.</p><p>

</p><p><span style="color:#000080;">

Winner: Fox Mask (C-)</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="color:#000080;">Overall Show Grade: C-</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Author's notes</span></p><p> </p><p>

Greg Black is still sulking over his defeat to Al Coleman, despite application of some incentives, and that probably dragged this down a little (especially since he complained about doing the job here as well). Having said that, the Champion's match rating was exactly the same, which is pretty disappointing.</p><p> </p><p>

Also, Champagne Lover seems to have LOST popularity since the start of the game in South West, despite remaining the same level in other regions of the USA. I'm obviously having him put over too many people...</p><p> </p><p>

Given my druthers I probably wouldn't have bothered with the COTT match – it was one match too many, and probably dragged the rating down as well – but I wanted to try and get Super Ninja on the show since he's still pushing as a Main Eventer despite being 5 years into time decline and with dubious stamina. Maybe I should give in to the inevitable and cut him, but given potential talent losses that might not be wise right now...</p><p> </p><p>

On to the predictions, and jameschaos scored an excellent 6/7 this time around, whilst CobheadJake and Historian both managed 5/7, but CobheadJake picks up an extra point for correctly predicting the debut of Bart Biggins. BHK1978 ended up with 4/7 and merrykieran2 brought up the rear with a still-creditable 3/7. Everybody whiffed on Super Ninja picking up the COTT title, which is interesting as it wasn't something I had planned on (I let the AI determine the winner in that match). Given that Brandon Smith has barely wrestled since the start of 2016, it doesn't seem unreasonable for him to lose the title here though.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Tuesday 2nd June 2016</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="UTmpDDF.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/UTmpDDF.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

It's days like today that I have to say that being successful can be a mixed blessing. It does, fortunately, bring that feeling of accomplishment, of satisfaction that things are going well, that the way you are working will continue to bring rewards. But, on the other hand it also leads to greater expectations and therefore pressure, a higher profile and more people taking notice, and the likelihood that others will see your success and want to replicate it.</p><p> </p><p>

Born of that is the news today that Pride Glory Honor Wrestling in Japan have targeted six of our most promising young wrestlers as suitable for their touring programme, and have offered them contracts. There is little we can do about this, given that their contracts with Coastal Zone allow them to take work elsewhere (indeed, some already work for WLW or PSW as well as for us), but this is slightly different from a small promotion taking an interest in them, as PGHW are the World's fifth biggest wrestling company (behind USPW, SWF, TCW and South of the Border), and in terms of the sort of contract they can offer they are at a completely different level from CZCW.</p><p> </p><p>

With the best will in the world, it is unlikely that these wrestlers would turn down those contracts, and we can only hope that they will still then be available to Coastal Zone, even if on a reduced schedule basis. The biting point could well be availability for our big monthly events – it was difficult to move the weekly show, but still feasible, whereas moving our bigger monthly events would be an even more seismic shift that would be much more tricky. PGHW apparently run tapings on a Monday during their tours, which is likely to cause us a problem.</p><p> </p><p>

This does mean that we may need to go scouting once again, to see who is out there that we can add to the roster to compensate for those losses, but who is available at a reasonable fee that we can afford?</p>
