<p>Questions about todays feature:</p><p> </p><p>

1) Are venues tied to locations, regions, both or neither?</p><p> </p><p>

2) If yes to venues being tied to locations, can a venue have a capacity higher than the max capacity for a location? Ex. Can New York be set to 20k max, but i can add Yankee Stadium at 50k?</p>

<p>I must say this, and it’s only because I care about the game and GDS:</p><p>

The journals are very disappointing to me so far, I appear to be in the minority when it comes to the Child Companies part so I’m not referring to that, plus if you can book these as the parent company too that’s very nice.</p><p>

But other than that, so far, there were cosmetic and technical stuff, nothing ground breaking, nothing that sells this iteration to me.</p><p>

I was hoping that with using a new code it will mean big changes, and maybe you’re holding back so far, but the one thing that has to be improved/changed isn’t being talked about at all: AI.</p><p> </p><p>

The AI is not good, I do not mean this to sounds like me ripping the game but it’s sometimes rage quit inducing and constantly illogical.</p><p>

If the AI isn’t getting a massive overhaul, I’m afraid it’ll be a no sell for me, and I really do want to buy more of your games.</p><p> </p><p>

Hopefully you prove me wrong Adam</p>

<p>I'm excited about the possibilities of location and venues within a region -- as I feel it gives a little bit more diversity to the world. I've always liked to set a homebase city within a region that I run out of.</p><p> </p><p>

I do have two questions though. Are companies going to be able to be based out of a location as well as a region? Or will it still be just region? Will locations affect regional battles at all? For instance, the Southwest [uSA] covers Los Angeles and Las Vegas -- but the two cities -- if you're lucky -- are a four hour drive away, but usually is like 5-6. It's 270 miles. In theory, a company running in Vegas isn't really affected by a company running Los Angeles so I'm wondering if this new location will affect that at all.</p>

Give it some time. We still have a long way's to go. And, I think it's safe to assume the AI will get better -- they get better in every game, but again, I say give it some time and I think you'll be incredibly pleased.</p>

If I recall from earlier dev journals, he'll start with a big splash entry and then it kinda goes in peaks and valleys as far as sexy features goes. I'm under the assumption, since this next one will be the last for a little bit that it might be a big one, but that's just a guess... there's literally gonna be hundreds of entries, so, it'll vary. But with as big of an overhaul as this is, I couldn't imagine the AI isn't getting a significant upgrade.

I care about whether you want the game when it's released, not a year or more in advance when it's not even out of its beta stage.</p>

Late to the party as usual, but I've just read through the journal and just wants to express my love for the on-the-fly booking feature. That's something I felt should have been in the game since several generations back. That's really the most realistic feature that reflects RL booking. Any person who's ever run/managed any sort of event (wrestling, entertainment or otherwise) will know that 90+% of the time events don't happen according to plan and last-minute (re)arrangements often need to be made to minimize potential damage (or in some cases make the show even better than planned). On-the-fly booking is IMO the one thing that really separates real bookers from fantasy armchair bookers. If implemented well it should be most immersive feature of all.

[in my mind, until a company hits cult they probably aren't traveling that much out of their home location. I would love to see the ability to lock a promotion into a certain location [though Adam responded to me and made it seem like that's not the plan with the feature]. I'm definitely happy with its inclusion and the ability to have a generic venue in a specific location.</p>

It's a good feature for today, but i'm hoping for something good tomorrow as it might be the last one of the year. So far I see some good improvements already, but with a year to go I know the more important stuff will come later. Alliances are a big question mark as how that will be handled, so are national battles. And of course, the AI.

I can’t say the AI bothers me TOO much, as I personally don’t really pay much attention to the opposition companies. I’d LOVE to see the Auto Booker improved somehow though (which I guess relates to AI), as even though it’s an awesome concept, it’s one I rarely use.

What I’d love to be able to do is just click a button that adds a random match. Not one where I have to specify if it’s singles or tag team or Main Event or Lower Midcarder, but one where you just click a button and it randomly adds a match to your card, and the AI decides the pushes (it could be a squash for all I care) and the match type and then all I have to do is decide whether I want to keep it or not.

I’m happy to book my own angles and major matches on a show, it would just be nice to “fill in the gaps” in a quicker and more efficient way. Would greatly reduce the time in booking shows.

I would also like to say Merry Christmas to Adam and all of you on this fantastic board if I don’t post again beforehand. Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday period with loved ones.

Nickman I would love this as well. Just the ability to add random filler matches after you fill out your card would be great.
