That's not possible. Immediate conversions will not be optimised so mods that are "ready" will come in time.

There's still a week between demo release and full release, with everybody stuck at home it might be possible.

But yeah, wondering if anybody plans to do this from minute 1 to at least get a stable release as close as possible to day one.

How are everyone's 2016 saves going?

Anyone wrapping their save up in a fun way?

I'm still getting my feet wet in terms of playing, as I don't always have a lot of time and just got the game last year. But it's been my primary game lately (instead of OOTP) because I miss seeing live wrestling so much. I am getting better at getting my matches into the 50s and 60s now as a Regional (yay) and my shows tend to be high 40s.

I'm in 2027 and hoping I can get to 2030, just because it's a fun number to hit. Whenever I hit my last few shows, I plan to just go crazy on spending and make the biggest, baddest shows I can, budget be damned.

I think I play a lot slower than most of you. I probably only advance maybe 2 months in a play session at most, which is roughly 4 shows. Hence why I don't think I'd be good at doing a huge company, unless I relied heavily on the autobooker.

It's on a show by show basis and the figures are done via the negotiations screen.

You have to be Medium sized and have twelve available wrestlers.

You would convert the TEW2016 database using the in-game editor and then use it as normal.

Cool, thx! How about cheat codes? Will there be a list somewhere?

It's very weird that we don't even have anything to hype up the game, no screenshots, no videos, nothing, I don't want to base the decision of buying the game on a limited features demo.

I want a video explaining the full features, how they work, the new features, what can we expect, stuff like that, with nothing to base things on, I'll wait for like some people's opinion before I buy, 2K20 has given me PTSD about ordering ---- straight away with no proof of concept.

The demo doesn't limit any features, only the amount of game time that you're allowed to play. It will also include a detailed player handbook that explains the new features, as well as the existing ones.

If you want details on how the new features work the Developer's Journal at the top of the page is the best place for that.

The demo is the full-featured game. The only limitation is two months for a save game. You could run countless saves for two months prior to buying it if you wanted to.

The demo will include everything in the full game, it just limits you to only being able to play in Jan and Feb. You’ll be able to experience the vast vast majority of new features and get a very good grip on the gameplay.

The new features are listed on the Developer's Journal, and the trial is exactly the same as the full game, except you can only play a save for two months of in-game time. So you can try out everything for yourself before making the purchasing decision. :)

Release Costs

Release costs have been rejigged. Firing someone who is under a written contract with monthly pay still involves paying them compensation of what they're owed, but it is now capped at six months' worth of wages at the maximum. People under a written deal who are paid per appearance are now compensated on their downside agreement and are again capped to a maximum of six months' pay. This change has been made to make firings / "spring cleanings" more viable as you're actually saving money in the long run rather than just saving yourself from bonus payments as you would in 2016.

Really excited about this. It caused me to hang on to so many worthless talent in '16 because there was no benefit to firing them. I can actually have a reasonable roster size now!
