Your 2020 plans

<p>Depends on how the CornellVerse shapes up in 2020. I've got a few things I want to try.</p><p> </p><p>

1) Japanese US Expansion Federation - If this isn't in the game, I might make this and have it be the Avatar I'm playing is the only member of the roster, meaning I need to sign a bunch of wrestlers right away.</p><p> </p><p>

Probably will end up being a part of Burning Hammer, if it is still as massive as it is in 2016.</p><p> </p><p>

2) Female federation - I figure there's probably going to be more of these in the database, so I might as well. I'd probably still guess that AAA is the largest organization, so </p><p> </p><p>

3) Indian federation - New area, new things to try out. I'm sort of hoping that there is just like one federation and only small, so that the market is bare and ripe for creating something fantastic.</p><p> </p><p>

4) A ground zero federation - I haven't done a federation from nothing before and I think maybe this time in 2020, I'll be able to accomplish it. Not sure of the product yet, but I'll think of something.</p><p> </p><p>

5) Create a federation with some history - Something that I haven't been able to do very well. Might as well attempt to do this one.</p><p> </p><p>

These are some of the things I was thinking of doing when 2020 hits.</p>

I've really gotten into DIW in the last few months and I really hope that they are still active in 2020, so I will hopefully play with them

 

Failing that I may just play with FCW, maybe PRP has finally retired and failing that give MAW another go

Question.. i keep seeing things like the tidal wave and an FBI investigation.. Wondering where this is coming from? Were they events in 16 or sneak peaks into the future of the Cverse?

I was using the comedian to leech overness, he is in terminal decline.

 

Got Matty Wills who become our title holder until Mace (who surprisingly got pretty good) unthroned him.

 

I also made a "TV Title" where the holder has to defend them every show.

 

Also Marcus Kerr is doing amazingly.

 

Signed Blood Brother at the start of the game, 2016, he has excellent tag chemistry with Gyula who have become regular tag champs due to them getting extremely good.

The FBI investigation is foreshadowed by three workers in the Cornellverse beign part of Operation Lullaby, a sting operation that is aiming to somehow look into Richard Eisen and SWF's finances. Those workers are Tex Tagan, Hal Harvard and Eve Runcord. Given that SWF doesn't have a women's division and the other two aren't that good, this one seems unlikely to pay off.

 

The 2016 tsunami is a pre-set game narrative that happens during 2016 and is designed to set Japan's wrestling industry and economy to 0, providing a tremendously difficult challenge for all the companies in that area. In most saves you will see GCG die as a result, with PGHW also common victims of it. In the past Adam has used most of the pre set narratives as actual canon events so this one could happen.

I've always loved narratives and it's a pity modders don't use them more often. What are your modding plans, Derek B? Hopefully you'll revisit the '97 Cverse mod. I tend to keep playing that and only that for the last 3 TEW games. I haven't kept up with what needs to happen upon converting but it shouldn't be anything major I assume?

CV97 is priority, I'd definitely rather have another mod from a different time period released before I commit to work on another mod. I have to play the game too!

Well then I'll just have to do with the default data.

 

Regardless as for plans, if I do pick the game up, I'm gonna run a little TCW save probably, followed up by a save similar to Historian's RMW concept as I did this year.

Then when mods come in who knows.

The biggest thing I want to do is play a dedicated save as a developmental company. I have dreams of doing that with WWE AND booking the main roster too, but I am only human.

 

I'll either do that or run with some mid-size CVerse company until a retro real world mod pops up. I've been itching to do a mid-2000s ROH or early-2010s PWG dynasty, so might wait and see what's up.

<p>QAW seems like a natural fit as well. And technically FCW is a lucha promotion, which surprised me when I looked at the product. "What? They're like USPW but with no money! How can they be a lucha fed?!?"</p><p> </p><p>

And I don't agree about CILL and OLLIE, as they have virtually identical products.</p>

Actually designing an Access database to assist in immersion for myself to feel like a real booker (thought i'd put these skills i learned at work to use to make the game more fun for myself ) going to have the database allow me to add workers and remove as their signed/added and have a gameplan whether 3, 6 months or a year of what i want for each performer and try to pre plan pushes and my events a year out. As well as design my storylines within the database so im not just spittballing as i go but have a 1-2 year plan for my titles/events/shows

 

Possibly going to create 6 New feds (with superstars/stories/full histories) to add to the cornellverse just to see how unique feds with unique characters develop over time. Might lead to making a dev diary with all the information being stored in a side database and some fun to see potential big name Cornellverse guys end up in one of these feds.

 

Basically this the most excited and the most immersed im trying to be in a TEW game in a long time just off reading the features and ive been testing the database and creating stories/fake characters ect to ensure when it comes out i can start filling in data.
