SWF: Supreme Wrestling Federation

My favorite company in all of CV, Supreme Wrestling Federation, needs its own thread as well!

I am incredibly interested in what has gone on since 2016, a lot of stuff could have ended badly and a lot could have ended greatly.

Feel free to post bigger thoughts of what could and should happen to SWF, meanwhile I will just share some small wants from me personally.

My personal predictions:

I really hope that Emma Chase has returned to managing, as she is always one of my favorite characters to book and I felt that her change in scenery to go to the commentary booth was kind of lame.

In one of my favorite save games of all time I turned Squeeky McClean into a heel and a mega star, I doubt it will happen but would be cool if he was given a push in the 4 years that preceeded 2020 for me personally.

As a revenge to the black wednesday betrayal, I hope that SWF was able to outbid USPW and taking some of their workers. Maybe someone like Casey Valentine or Rick Law! That would be awesome

Lastly, I really hope that Richard has given more creative input to his sons, and that this means that a women's division is introduced. Give women a chance!

So what do you all think will happen with SWF? Or if the game has come out, what has already happened?

What happened:

Well... that was dramatic!

<p>I also can totally see a Women's Division. Obviously, it'll be a bit more cheesecake than USPW, but since SWF is a bit more performance driven than USPW, most smarks will be satisfied with the in-ring product.</p><p> </p><p>

... Spencer Spade will STILL be in RIPW. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

SWF is also one of my favorites, arguably my #1 org. I like the characters and history behind the promotion. It kind of pissed me off that USPW surpassed them, so i hope SWF get their spot back.

Getting Rick Law back would be a good step forward for sure and i would like to see them add the women's division. Although unless the game adds more women (and i mean talented ones that can seriously compete with the men), then i am not sure what they can do to create a proper Division.

Well SWF certaintly has changed! I love that Scythe has done so well now, sad to see Skull and Bruce leave but they gained the star power right back with Rocky Golden! Awesome!

Also one of the best things with the new Cornellverse has to be Skull's son in dev, who has an alter ego named "Skull DeClones", a laugh out loud moment for me! Great stuff

I absolutely love the position the SWF is in right now from a game-play perspective. In a way, we are able to see what happens when a company (SWF) fails to produce on a number of levels (losing big name talent, not really building new stars when they had the chance for popularity rubs -- outside of Scythe --, and missing out on trying to build an international brand before the USPW was able to come in and define 'American Wrestling' to the world).

Then, adding that Richard is no longer at the top and you have a big challenge in whether or not the 'kids' can stabilize the company and build from there.

In turn, the Eric and Emma feels rather Trips and Stephanie-esque. Personally, I like that. It gives Emma some 'clout' on top of being the 'most searched' or 'best commentator in the world.' There are so many ways you can go with this from a creative standpoint.

Bravo!

I'm really excited to play this. They didn't lose anybody to another promotion, although losing Vengeance and Bruce sucks. They got the Golden Goose and an heir to Vengeances throne in Scythe. Matty and Soven I could see making a 2nd generation tag team before young Martyn embraces his inner Vengeance and destroys the baby Faith. Have them be lifelong rivals.

Couple other ideas... Remo seems an ideal opponent to put over Primus at a Supreme Challenge soon. James is beginning his descent down the card. Crippler still hasn't had a title run and at 46, time isn't on his side. I don't recall seeing Scott in SWF, and with the Bumfholes finally splitting, their tag ranks seem fairly thin. HERO squad have also split with Atom Smasher looking like a potential breakout star. Ekuma is teaming with High Flyin Hawaiian instead of getting a main event push. Spade looks to be doing nothing of note. Morgan as well as Gilmore appear to have treaded water the past 4 years. Bret Starr is becoming a Starr. Huntingdon is teaming with Trescarde instead of Monty becoming a poor man's Paul Parsons.

I've got so many ideas swirling in my head. Theres so much I want to do with this game and to have to wait until Thursday next week to really go through with everything long term sucks. I think I'll start getting renders replaced tomorrow and formulating Supreme Challenge plans Saturday and book the 2 months out. Jesus I'm excited for this.

While from a creative standpoint I like the plan, I'm really worried for the future of the Supreme Land, since what happened in C-Verse 2020.

According to the TEW 2016, I cannot currently buy 2020 because I need a new Macbook bought and setup on a real store and now in Italy you can't, Jerry is a worse owner than Eric and Eric is a worse owner than Jerry. JE wants a massive roster and could spends money like the champagne poured on the Formula One podiums. Double E instead has the booking intelligence of the other half brain of Sid Vicious.

My suggestion for a name for a diary, Big Troubles in Little Supreme Town.

A thing I just found is that long reigning SWF announcer Duane Fry came out as a homosexual, and the locker room reacted a lot better than a lot of people thought they would!

As a member of the LGBT community myself, this warmed my heart when I found out. Yay SWF!

<p>SWF was the first fed I got invested in when I started getting into the C-Verse in 2016. I actually like the position they are in at the start of 2020, although it feels very similar to where they were in 2016. You have quite a few aging stars to use to help put over the up and comers. Spade, Parker, Starr, and Hernandez should only need a few storylines with the aging vets to get over the hump and make it firmly to the upper end of the card. I did a test save to get used to some of the new mechanics without much structure, but I have some solid plans for a more focused save. I think I'll milk a Golden vs Remo program one more time for SC and build up Scythe with Eric Eisen as his mouthpiece to be the true Monster Heel for the following year. One thing I did change was to switch Match Focus from Three Ring to Main Event. I was really struggling to get the minimum score of 81 for CANN with Three Ring focus. </p><p> </p><p>

I also got to experience one of the new mechanics that is really cool, with stars coming to me offering to put over younger talent. Randy and Mikey offered to put over High Flying Hawaiian and Valiant offering to put over Ranger.</p>

That's because it wasn't a huge scandal. It didn't find anything damning, just a few scandalous things that were enough to force Eisen into retirement. Not even arrest him.

I see that, and I guess that WWF survived after the steroid scandal pretty well so I guess it makes sense.

Agreed. It was pretty light in the fact, as you stated, Richard staved off jail time. Truthfully, I was shocked to see him get away so easily. Adam has been hinting at this for a few different iterations of the game.

I also love the starting position of SWF. It's like a cross between WCW in the late 90s (after they fell from the top but didn't completely go into garbage mode) and WWE post Attitude era where they were trying to find themselves again. It's a fun time to get started in.

You have to use the magnifying glass near the bottom left to find them.</p>
