Blackman
There's no point to doing so since the venue will be useless once you hit medium. Last patch added a bit of diminishing returns to running shows in the same area at Medium and above. Is it? Don't forget the location automatically gets the hotbed perk. I don't know what this did in TEW20, but it seems to get a crowd slightly easier to warm up, but I base that on little. You also might draw bigger crowds. Anyhow, it's not explained anywhere, but why have a "hotbed" tag if it's meaningless? For the money, it's barely worth it, though I found myself making money off of it in CZCW when I did a weekly show there. You'll quickly make profit off of it. But who needs money in this game? You should have more in the bank than you can ever spend.
Ruthian23
Don't forget that company size plays a role too, and the caps will be different in every game you play. Wolf is currently at 90 in my game, which is probably as big as a Medium company with 77 popularity can hope for. I'm sure when I get back to Big again (there was an... incident...) he'll get higher than that. Aaron in my game is mid-80s, but he's just coming back from a broken leg (which may or may not have had anything to do with the fall back to medium). Jay Chord and Greg Gauge have both far surpassed their max overness with me now that they've signed with USPW. Jay is 90 and Greg is 96, the third most over worker in the world. Both struggled to get out of the 80s with me down at Medium size. TCW is Large at this point in my game, but Wolf is still stuck. I've had no issues getting Chord to the mid 80s and Gauge to the low 90s and other guys (Freddy Huggins, for instance) well above where Wolf tops out at. I have TCW at large size, Jay Chord, Greg Gauge, and Freddy Huggins among some others seem to have no popularity limits. But Wolf Hawkins and Aaron Andrews are stuck in the mid 70s and Edd Stone (along with a few others) is stuck at exactly 70. It doesn't make sense to me. Just out of curiosity, when did you start your game? I started mine on day 1 of the demo so I'm wondering if it's some sort of glitch. I always pre-book my pay-per-views for organisational purposes as the pre-booking screen says since I have the preference off. The Last Man Standing pay-per-view ends with a royal rumble. Earlier on in the show I had a tag match where Lightning Lomas suffered a back injury meaning he couldn't compete later on in the battle royal so I took him out. I like this as it's cool on the fly booking (though his tag title reign is screwed). The issue is since I took him out the battle royal, I've technically not 'lived up' to the pre-booking I made for the show, as Lightning Lomas is not in the match. The game told me as much but I thought maybe since I've literally HAD to do this since it's on the fly, maybe it'll let me off. </p><p> </p><p> Nope, the event that definitely would've been a blue rating, got a 78 with the red error message saying how fans were expecting the "battle royal" and were upset it wasn't on the show. I realise writing this I sound a bit mad which wasn't my intention as I'm just genuinely just wondering if this is avoidable? In my opinion, with mandatory pre-booking off the red message saying the fans were expecting _____ shouldn't exist but I can get past that. It's just irritating I literally HAD to change the booking on the fly due to an injury and it affected my grade, it feels like a potential oversight.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> In this instance you have to modify your pre-booking and change the competitor before you add it to the booking screen. You will lose all of the hype however.</p>
MaddoxEra
Any tips for building very low pop wrestlers when they're new to a big company? The "being on TV" rub doesn't seem to be as big in this game compared to 2016 and it's taking me months to get anywhere. Playing as SWF, Matthew Keith got to 17 pop really quick but only gained 5 more pop in 3 months since. Deever Arnold got to 26 pop by June, it's October now and he's only gotten 4 more. It's so much lower than SWF's lowest guy at game start and I've seen too many inconsistent win/loss gains & losses to be confident in taking too many risks. It's also stopping me from calling other wrestlers up and signing guys from the indies until I sort it out.
SandyD9
I’m losing money fast as a small company - I pay my wrestlers no more than $100 a show, which gives me a basic pay of around $4000 a month... but when I look at my finances, it tells me I’m paying around $15000 a month in ‘bonuses and perks’ - where am I going wrong!? Sorry if this is a really simple question - I’m brand new to the game as of about 2 weeks ago

If you hit the Toggle List button next to the search bar, it should reappear.
Malioc
I noticed in Drug Testing, that Standard Test Everyone and Comprehensive Test Everyone cost the same. Both times it showed "$224,000". With my current 63 wrestlers on the Main Roster I would have - standard: $68,000 - comprehensive: $194,000 Or am I missing something? Is the staff also tested? DavGen
Hello Just a question with the in-game editor (so I mean while playing, not on the home screen). Can I create a new company with it ? I tried to, because I have 3 companies which went bankrupt and only one new created who survived, but I never found how. I can edit the existing company or old one, but cannot create a new. John Waylon
A question about performance centres. I just opened one, and I'm really unsure of who I should be sending there as far as development is concerned. What are the primary skills that a performance centre helps? Or is it just random? I'm kind of guessing it teaches skills on a weighted scale like this: Fundamentals Physical Mental Performance Primary Anyone have any insight they can offer? Also, is there a certain amount of time a worker should attend a performance centre, or do I just pull them out when I'm happy with where they're at? Ruthian23
Regarding the timing of your TV shows or events, I've noticed that when you put something in "prime time" in, say, Japan, it seems to default to Prime Time in America, because ratings as very low in Japan, whereas if the EVENT is actually held in Japan, then the ratings in America are very low while the ratings in Japan are higher. I assume this is because the PPV or show is on at a weird time in that country. If you're running an American promotion, should you be looking for a different time slot in Japan to optimize? Samuraj
I have a few misc questions I've been holding onto: Is it normal for a Medium company to have a bunch of 55 to 70 rated shows on average? Just want to know if I'm messing up/need to pay better attention. I got a note saying my last heel turn didn't go over as well because fans have soured on the unexpected "shock" turn. it recommended my next turn hint at it before turning. How do I do this? I'm trying to turn a tag team which seems especially challenging. Freestyle Angles seem powerful because you can always just use your worker's strengths. Is there any reason to not use them over the default angles? Thanks in advance!

If you get ratings below that, you'll be told you're losing pop as a result of the show. All you have to do to foreshadow turns is have people who are set to turn in a segment where it doesn't happen yet. From that point on any segment will have a note saying they foreshadowed a turn. Matches count too. Default angles are largely for saving time as it can be faster if you know what you're looking for.

I'm pretty sure 5 segments of "foreshadowing" are what it takes to not be considered a "shock" turn. I think you also start getting things that are considered "slow burn" turns if you go for something like 25 or 30 segments or more.
D-Lyrium
[*]Freestyle Angles seem powerful because you can always just use your worker's strengths. Is there any reason to not use them over the default angles? There's no inherent benefit to using one or the other. The benefit of default angles is that all the roles and "rated on"s are filled in for you, so if you know what you want to book it can make it quicker. A lot of the default angles haven't been updated to the new system though, so they'll be rated on things like Overness which might no longer be appropriate. If you're happy using freestyle angles, you're not missing out on anything at all.
Vocalite
I have no clue why but I can't go up in size at all... I am playing VWA in europe and my size is stuck at 31. I really want to go up to small, but I just can't do it somehow. I just put up a show that was 67 Frickin' Points (which is the highest I have ever put up in my life) yet there was STILL no increase and that baffled me. I have been doing weekly shows, hiring great workers, and yet nothing is working. Please help me lads I'm so perplexed
