I hate to rant, but on top of everything else wrong with this game, I CANNOT go through a save when I have to meticulously rearrange matches on a card one arrow at a time.

It's just crazy. Especially when you have to keep following whatever you're rearranging to move it around. So tedious.

You can change it to not be Main Event booking (so that you go from the bottom up instead of the top down)

There's too many boxes and lines. The only other computer game I really play is Football Manager which I don't think this is much different than. Both have an excel looking format but you don't have literal lines drawn everywhere in Football Manager. You alternate between three different color shades so that your eyes can easily follow the line. That's all that I think was needed here. Some of the sections of the pages use this strategy but it's inconsistent. Instead it's hard to focus because of all the boxes and lines. I don't know what page is the worst example of all this but the title history and match history seem very bad. There are so many lines when you have something like the Creative Meeting screen open, the previous screen background is so busy it's hard to focus on the open tab.

There also seems to be some repetition which I don't understand. Like if you are on in a list of workers you can see their skills. Then there is a button you can select called skills. If you select skills, it takes you to pages that not only give you the same information but also are the same size. I don't know. I'm not a developer or anything. It seems like some things could be eliminated to make it not so busy.

I really enjoy being able to compare wrestlers skills, that's very helpful. Comparing title prestige across different companies is super fun too.

Why not let the users create their own product types though? Why add in this unnecessary intermediary step?

Is there something about the game that it would BREAK if I wanted to run a promotion where all matches under 30 minutes are penalized for being too short, and we like risque gimmicks and angles?

It makes no sense why the conscious decision was made to literally handcuff us. What happened to being able to play the game you want to play? We can sandbox almost everything else except products? The one thing that affects the entire booking aspect of the game.

I'm just dumbfounded by this design decision

Oh ok, i'm just seeing this now.

Product limitation is DEFINITELY an issue. Appreciate the added options but the only real answer is to give back the freedom, i'm sure there's a core reason that it is limited but if there's a way to switch that back or easily allow a bit more freedom to the sliders and %'s it really should be done.

That's the part I mean. I was annoyed doing that for one show. I can't in good conscience do that in a five year save.

Quick first thoughts:

The Good

  • People have been crapping on the UI - but I'm a big fan personally. Makes modding/playing so much more efficient.

  • Dig the attribute system, love when workers have more of a distinct personalities and development.

  • Lots of the smaller additions are appreciated. New locations, potential narratives, etc.

The Bad:

  • The new product system. I do like that that the AI is more likely to evolve, but I don't like being forced to choose presets (even if there are over 60). Do the presets probably cover most of my usual product choices? Yeah, probably. But...I dunno, still want to be able to choose the individual elements myself.

  • Drop down menus where you an only see a few of the options are a pet peeve of mine. Obvious effort has be made to make to make aspects of the game not so time consuming, but this continues to be an issue. Maybe I'm misremembering, but I'm pretty sure WMMA 5 allowed you to see a ton of attributes at once, and "add" them to a worker. Was hoping for something similar here.

Overall, I'm digging it. I'll probably hold off buying until the inevitable bugs are addressed and historical mods come out - but I'm more excited than I was before.

Why should we have to be clicking arrows to rearrange either way on say a 12-15 item card?</p>

<p>Righto just getting into booking my first show after spending the morning looking around and reading the forums (and I have to say a lot of criticism of a pre-release beta is well OTT, in my opinion).</p><p> </p><p>

So I'm booking as RAW, and something I've noticed... is Adelaide REALLY in Tasmania in this game or am I reading this wrong??</p>

None of us assumed we'd be as handicapped as we are. Not being able to edit ANYTHING or create our own product. </p><p> </p><p> It's a ridiculously flawed design decision that needs to be reverted. Again, playing as the top company in the world is extremely stupid when you can't book matches longer than 15 minutes or any angles longer than 7 minutes. </p><p> </p><p> It makes NO sense and how someone can defend this is mind blowing and nothing but blind, sheep like faith.</p>

I have to say the extremely strict angle and match lengths are definitely hurting my enjoyment but the one mechanical change I really cant stand is that I cant change the match/angle ratio at ALL? I'd totally understand if there was limits I had to keep within but having absolutely 0 control over that is really off putting and actually makes me book shows in way less creative ways

We're absolutely handcuffed and handicapped to the way Adam wants us to play as each promotion. I feel like I have absolutely no creative freedom at all when booking. It's funny, a new mechanic was added to punish users for booking the same boring shows over and over again, but the new products and strict angle, match lengths don't let us do ANYTHING creatively</p>

<p>Ok, another minor issue is that the scroll bars don't work as they should. When you click the scroll bar either above or below the scroller, it should go up or down the page in the increment of one full page.</p><p> </p><p>

Instead, it only goes up or down one entry, similar to if you only hit arrows at the top or bottom of the scroll bar.</p><p> </p><p>

Does this make sense??</p>
